Kill The President's Women (Joe The Magic Man Series Book 2)

“I’m not your bloody sir, I’m Sergeant Brown!” the man said in irritation. Without taking his eyes off Jean, he asked, “So what are you two doing here?”
“We’ve come to join up, sergeant,” Joe said, addressing him by rank.
“We!” he nearly fell off his chair. “You’d take this lovely young girl to war?”
“That’s what we both want, Sergeant. We’ve been married for only three days and my wife wishes to come with me; she thinks it will be a big adventure.” Steve-e-Joe spoke in a nervous tone and added, “She thinks it’s something we should do before we settle down to have kids.”
He gave Jean’s hand a squeeze and she agreed, “Yes, it’ll be a big adventure for us.”
The story about the kids was news to Jean and she smiled into his embarrassed face. Old Sergeant seemed shocked at both of them and he asked, “Adventure, eh?”
He got up, walked around the table and stood in front of Joe, placing one hand on his shoulder. “Look lad, I don’t think you want to take a pretty young wife on an adventure with this lot.” He pointed his thumb over his shoulder towards the tents and soldiers. “There are some hard men here and you don’t look like much of a fighter... when these hard men see a pretty girl they just go after her, if you know what I mean.”
“We know that, sergeant,” Jean said smiling nervously, “but I still want to go with my husband, I want to see other villages and towns. York too! For York isn’t a town but a city.”
“Oh, you’ll see all that,” he said, and to himself, he added, You’ll even see a lot more.
Stepping back, Old Sergeant said to them, “We’ll be camped here for another two weeks signing in new recruits. Men are coming from all over Devon and Cornwall to join Lord Bedford, there will be ten times as many men here eventually.”
“Oh my God, that many men? That’s a very big army.”
Jean could see the sergeant looking directly at her chest.
“Oh yeah, that’s just part of it,” he said. “We’ll be marching up soon to Redditch Town to meet up with another camp just like this.”
“Where is Redditch Town?” Jean asked.
“Haven’t got a bloody clue,” Old Sergeant said, not to her but directly to her cleavage. “But I know King Henry has hired a hundred Welsh archers, and we are to meet up with them there.”
“I hear the Welsh are the best archers in the world,” Steve-e- Joe said with a smile. He would be mighty glad to meet him some Welsh archers.
“Aye, you’re right there lad. You’ve only got to ask the French.”
“Our minds are made up sergeant,” Jean said, straightening her back and sticking her chest out. “We are coming with you.”
“Well then, you crazy lovebirds, so be it!” He took Jean and Joe by the elbows and gently walked them away from his tent and table, back up the road to the gate. “Just in case I didn’t make myself very clear the first time, I got to tell you in plain language. There are going to be men that will want to bed your wife, and if you are the jealous type then you are going to have a hammering every time you try to stop them.”
“I’m not a jealous husband and I’m sure Jean can look after herself,” Steve-e-Joe said.
A big, incredulous smile crossed Sergeant Brown’s wrinkled face. “You’re not the jealous type now, are you? That’s mighty hard to believe but I’ll ask you both one more time. Are you very sure about this?”
Jean answered him. “It’s our dream to travel and this is the only way we’ll be able to do it.”
“Well let me think now...” He turned and shouted back to an unseen man inside his tent. “Sergeant Morris, look after the signings for me.”
Joe and Jean turned to see a man who must have been catching some sleep in the tent poke his head out and reply Old Sergeant gruffly.
Old Sergeant continued to lead them, and when they had walked a few more paces and exited the camp through the gate, he turned specifically to Joe. “Now listen, young man, what you’ll need throughout this war is a protector to fend off the unwanted attention your wife is going to get.” Sergeant Brown said it as cheerfully and as naturally as he could manage.
“A protector?” Joe asked, a little baffled. “Like a club, you mean?”
“I don’t think a club would do your wife much good. I mean a man. A great, fighting man. I really wish Buster was around at this time; he’d be a good protector for your wife.”
“Buster? Who is Buster and how can he help me?” Jean asked excitedly.
“Well let me tell you a story about Buster, and why he was a bloody good protector... Buster was a big, tall man who could fight any two men at the same time; he was in this regiment when I was a young man. The story goes that one day, Buster unexplainably had a nasty fall and broke his ankle. As he was hobbling about, Lord Bedford commented that his ankle would take a long time to heal and so he sent him home to heal until he could carry out his duties properly. Lord Bedford even trusted Buster enough to lend him one of his horses.”
Old Sergeant stopped and folded his arms. He knew he wasn’t much of a story teller but they both seemed keen, and Old Sergeant was so taken by the young bride that if he couldn’t convince them to leave, he wanted first pop at her. So he grinned again and tried to make the story interesting.
“Buster had never been married so home, to him, was back to his mother. She was a widow and lived alone in a little cottage. She had new neighbors some twenty yards away, a newlywed couple.”
Jean didn’t know where the story was going but somewhere in her subconscious, she knew it was part of her adventure, and the way the sergeant was looking at her, she knew he’d be sharing her bed tonight. She listened attentively.
“It seems that the young couple had run off to get married; indeed the young girl was betrothed to someone else. And her old betrothed found her! He and his brother broke into the couple’s cottage and beat the husband up.” Sergeant Brown noticed Steve-e-Joe look at Jean and swallow hard.
He smiled and continued. “The wife ran screaming to Buster’s mother, and when the two men followed her into Buster’s home saying they had come to take the girl back, Buster’s mother threatened them with a carving knife. The two men left saying if the girl didn’t come back home, they’d be back to finish off the husband. Buster wasn’t around throughout this damn circus but lucky for the newlyweds, Buster arrived home the next day. His mother told him what had happened and Buster, seeing how young and pretty the girl was, offered to be their protector.”
Jean nodded, anticipating what was coming next.
“To cut the story short, the husband said he had no money to pay Buster for protection. Buster told him simply, his wife could pay him in kind. The husband said, “No way!” That night, the two brothers came back, and again they kicked the door in and picked on the husband as he tried to fight them off. Buster had been waiting and hoping the two men would come back and start a fight, so he hobbled in on his broken ankle behind the two guys and knocked them both flat out! He even threw then out on to the road for an extra dose of humiliation.”
Sergeant Brown threw two imaginary punches in the air to illustrate his point. “Buster then started new negotiations with the couple.”
“I bet the husband was scared and had second thoughts when they came back,” Steve-e-Joe said, a little frightened himself.
The sergeant nodded and began to speak softly, for effect. “Now, you have to understand that it was clear to even any moron that if it wasn’t for Buster, the brothers might have killed the husband quite easily. Nobody realized this more clearly than the young wife. But when Buster told the husband he wanted to share their bed that night, the husband, surprisingly, still said “No way”.
The wife didn’t fancy the idea but she said nothing. She listened as Buster quoted his price as two shags, one for each punch he had used to knock out the assailants.” Sergeant Brown noticed Jean wasn’t shocked by the statement; instead a small grin came to her
face.
Old Sergeant continued, “The husband was still trying to get out of making a deal. Buster simply told him he had two choices: stay with them and enjoy the shag or sleep outside the bedroom. Either way, Buster declared he was having his payment.
Just about that time, the two brothers found themselves conscious again. They found two good sticks, burst back in wildly and attacked Buster. It took Buster four punches to knock the brothers out cold again. As he threw them out once more, he remarked that he would have been in his rights if he killed them while defending himself.
The wife started crying because it could have as well been her husband they attacked. She agreed immediately to pay Buster on his terms but she wanted her husband to be there. She begged him and managed to convince him and eventually, the three of them went to bed.
Jean looked at Steve-e-Joe and smiled. Old Sergeant realized his story was working and so he hurried to get to the ending.
“Buster took his boots and breeches off, leaving his long shirt on to hide his big, throbbing cock; he didn’t want the husband to see it and change his mind for indeed some people, just by seeing Buster’s member, had labeled him a brute.”
He noticed the shock on Jean’s face and he smiled sardonically as he continued. “The wife blew the candle out and got undressed in the dark. The husband did the same thing and Buster took his shirt off, glad for the anonymity of the darkness. Buster suggested to the couple that they both go first for her to relax a little. The husband said he wasn’t sure he could do it with Buster right there, but his wife encouraged him and so he made love to his wife knowing that Buster was waiting his turn.
When the husband was done, Buster took his turn and the wife screamed wildly at Buster’s entry – she had to ask her husband to hold her hand.”
Old Sergeant would have loved to describe the experience in cruder detail, but he felt the couple was so young and innocent, he might as well keep it in moderate taste.
“After Buster had had his wicked way, the husband hurriedly asked Buster to leave. Buster reminded him that they had originally agreed to two shags, and that beyond that, he was still owed four more because he had recently punched the two boys four more times. The wife pleaded that they’d pay a total of two shags that nights and Buster agreed. The husband sourly said he didn’t want another go and told Buster to get on with so they could get some sleep.
Buster told the wife lay on her side with her back to him and let her husband hold and kiss her while he made love to her. Buster took his time; he fondled her slowly before he finally took her. The husband was distressed at his wife’s moaning, unsure whether his wife was moaning with pleasure or with pain.”
Jean nodded as she tried to imagine what the wife had gone through. She thought it must be a little like Steve-e-Joe taking his time and doing it just like old man Morgan had told him, instead of simply getting on with it.
Sergeant Brown, from Jean’s facial expression, was convinced that Jean was enjoying what he imagined was a poorly-told story. He figured the important thing was that Jean was aroused by his story just as he had hoped and so he went on.
“When Buster eventually pulled away from her and lay beside her, they were both panting. The husband told Buster that since he had been paid, Buster could leave and let them have some peace. Buster was in no hurry though and he calmly declared that he’d go in a minute after he’d caught his breath. Seeing that the wife didn’t exactly complain, Buster took hold of her hand, and placed it squarely on his pride and joy. She gasped, and pulled her hand away, embarrassed.
Buster asked if they should perform two shags the next night, and keep the remaining two for the night after. The alternative being, that they make it three that night and then finish up with three shags the next night. The husband jumped out of the bed angrily and lit the candle, telling Buster it was high time he left. Buster shrugged, saying it was really up to the wife how they completed the payment. Standing naked and proud, he looked the husband in the face and asked him not to forget his terms: he was their protector and if anybody whatsoever tried to harass them, he’d take them out and get paid accordingly.
The wife sat up and stared at his huge cock hanging there, unhinged, unbridled and she exclaimed to her husband that she had felt he was huge but not THIS huge! In fact, she was shocked that she had been able to receive him at all. The husband nearly dropped the candle at the sight of it. He muttered something about Buster being built like a horse and then went over to the bed to console his wife for now he truly understood what she had just passed through.
He desperately asked her if she was alright and she nodded while they both stared at Buster’s instrument in disbelief. Buster grabbed it with both hands and shook it violently at them, remarking that a lot of women had told him he was built like a horse; it wasn’t news to him. Buster also said that all the talk about horses had given him a bright idea; why didn’t he take the wife the way a stallion takes his mare?”
“Doggy style, like we did the other night.” Steve-e-Joe interrupted the story to tell Jean, and she nodded.
“Yes doggy style,” The sergeant said impatiently and went back to his story. “The husband looked at his wife waiting to see if she was going to refuse. She said nothing, so the husband got up from the bed and told Buster that they might as well make it three that night and three the next night. Buster willingly agreed and the wife, in her quiet manner, agreed. Buster hungrily took the wife from behind and the husband watched to see every stroke Buster made, every moan his wife spilled and every expression her face wore. He didn’t blow the candle out, he watched intently. When Buster had finished and his wife’s cries had stopped echoing in the little cottage, he went and lay on the bed with them; he didn’t seem to be in a hurry for Buster to go anymore. He just lay there holding his wife and he told her he had never seen anything so beautiful or harmonious before. His wife wearily told him that she was glad they had Buster as their protector.”
Sergeant Brown was pleased that he got through the story without leaving too much out, and now the couple had a good idea what a protector was.
“Wow, they were lucky to have had a protector like Buster,” Jean said with a mischievous grin, knowing the sergeant was making a move on her and remembering that Steve had given her his blessing to sleep with other men. “She paid Buster in kind and more than likely saved her and her husband from being killed.”
“That’s it? The story is finished?” Steve-e-Joe asked. “So that’s what a protector is, and you are going to find us a protector like Buster, to help keep my wife safe?”
Jean laughed. “Not quite like Buster, but I think the sergeant has a plan.”
“Well as a matter of fact I have, and the best way of keeping you both safe is,” he looked around and said in a quiet tone, “if Jean says she’s my niece – my sister’s daughter – and you both wanted to join up and my sister told you to come looking for me to protect you.”
“How is that going to keep my wife safe?” Joe asked, squinting at the Sergeant.
“First, you’ll both get to move into my tent. And I’ll announce that any man, who even looks at my niece or tries anything clever, will spend a month emptying the cesspit and digging new ones. Everyone hates that job.”
“Cesspits...” Jean said, screwing up her nose. She looked at the sergeant and she knew that the scruffy old soldier was going to have his with her that very night. His lust was clearly written in his moist eyes and something told her to not be afraid for it was just another chapter in her adventure.
“That’s the best way I can protect you,” Old Sergeant reiterated. “I’ve been in this army since I was 14 – a little over 40 years ago – and if I’ve learned only one thing, it’s that no one likes cesspit duties.”
That makes him about fifty-four, Jean thought, not as old as he looks but not quite the dashing young man I was hoping to start my adventure with.
“Now this is what I want you to do, I want you t
o walk up to that sergeant there and ask if your Uncle, Sergeant Johnny Brown is here.”
After officially joining up, Jean’s excitement only increased. She and Joe had registered as Mr. and Mrs. Bateman – a foot soldier and wife – and Jean’s duty was simply to assist the cook in dispensing her own duties. Jean and Steve-e-Joe did everything “Uncle Johnny” asked. She called him Uncle Johnny in front of everyone they met and he later confirmed to them that they’d be staying in his tent, due to the shortage of tents.
Jean and Steve were shown around the campsite during a detailed orientation exercise but soon it was night time and they both walked over to the tent they were to share with Sergeant Brown. They met him engaged in an argument with Sergeant Morris.
“Oh come on, Johnny!” Morris was saying, “There’s enough room in the tent for the four of us.”
“I’m not having my niece listening to you snoring and farting all night,” Sergeant Brown retorted. “You clear your things out and go hitch up with someone else.”
“I’ll be like a mouse; you won’t hear me.”
“They are newlyweds so they’ll need privacy.”
“And you think a blanket hanging in the middle of the tent is going to give them privacy from you?”
“I’m her UNCLE! Now clear off!”
Steve-e-Joe squeezed her hand and said hopefully to her, “He’s divided the tent into two.”
Sergeant Morris packed up his few belongings and as he came up to them, he grinned widely, exposing two missing teeth. “It’s an honor for you to have my bed, lass. Pity I won’t be in it.”
“I’ll have none of that dirty talk around my niece,” Brown said, shoving Morris away and pulling Jean into his arms. “It’s alright child, the nasty man won’t hurt you.”
He kissed the top of her head and said, “It’s time for bed, child.”
Brown took a quick look around the campsite; the lanterns were lit in most of the tents, and the few men outside didn’t seem to be paying him any attention. He ushered them into his tent with his heart pounding; he couldn’t believe it was happening.
