Long Distance Lust: A Hotwife Novel

“Neighbor?” I asked, though I had a pretty good idea what they were going on about. I’d seen some of these guys loading their stuff into the apartment next door, after all.
“Yup! We’re your neighbors!” the cute one said.
The cute one? Was I really thinking of him as the cute one now? That wasn’t good. I really was raring to go thanks to everything that happened with Taylor. It was a good thing he was here to keep me honest.
Here to keep me honest? Now what the hell did my traitorous brain mean there? I didn’t need anyone to keep me honest. The only thing I needed to keep me honest was the diamond on my ring finger, damn it.
“So what are you doing over here?” I asked. “Standing right in front of my door?”
“Oh,” the guy, I would not think of him as the cute one, said. He looked from me to Taylor and seemed to realize for the first time that maybe he was interrupting something.
“When did they start letting guys room with the girls here?” he said. “They didn’t do that the last couple of years.”
“This is my fiance,” I said, making sure to emphasize the part where I was engaged. I don’t know why I suddenly felt the urge to emphasize that, but with these guys standing in front of us it seemed important. “He helped me move in today and we were hanging out.”
My voice was dripping with acid by the time I finished that. The way the guys blushed it seemed there was no doubt left in their mind exactly what sort of hanging out we were doing. Heck from the way their eyes roamed down to my chest and then back up in those darting glances guys do like it will somehow conceal the fact they’re staring at my tits they really had a good idea what was going on.
I tried not to blush. I wasn’t wearing a bra. I’d taken it off earlier in anticipation of the fun I was going to have with Taylor, and I wasn’t going to give them the satisfaction of acting embarrassed now.
“Sorry for bothering you,” the guy said. “We were just going to have a party next door and we always invite people over.”
“And how did you get in here to get to my room in the first place?” I asked.
“Julia let us in!” a guy piped in from behind the cute one. Damn it. I did it again. I was not going to think of him as the cute one! Taylor was the only cute one in this apartment, thank you very much, and he was all mine.
“Did she now?” I asked.
Julia. Interrupting us again. If I didn’t know any better I’d almost think that was intentional. Like she was trying to keep us from getting together for some reason. I wasn’t sure I liked that, but I also wasn’t sure I could accuse her of anything. This was all too new and I knew nothing about how things worked at this place since it was my first year and it looked like this guy had been coming out here for awhile.
He’d probably be a company man when he graduated. If this was his third summer out here for an internship that had to be soon which meant he was probably about my age.
I needed to stop thinking about this guy though. I should be thinking about the hunk of man standing behind me. The man I loved. The man I was going to marry. The man who was probably just as sexually frustrated right now as I was.
“Is that all?” I asked.
“Well are you coming over?”
“I’ll think about it,” I said, slamming the door in his face.
I got a little bit of satisfaction out of that. After all, it was annoying that they thought they could come up and knock on my door like that. I didn’t care if Julia did invite them in.
I was going to have to have words with her about that. It was obvious we were going to have to come up with some sort of roommate agreement if she thought letting a bunch of guys into the apartment to come up and harass me while I was getting intimate with Taylor was acceptable behavior.
Unless interrupting us is exactly what she was going for.
I turned to Taylor. Smiled. “Sorry about that. I guess I didn’t know we’d have visitors tonight.”
“It’s fine,” he said in a voice that let me know it absolutely wasn’t fine.
I walked over and wrapped my arms around him. Pressed my body against his. Thought back to just a few minutes ago when we were pressing our bodies together with a heck of a lot less than my tank top and his T-shirt in between us.
And then it happened. An intrusive thought went and intruded its way right into the mental image I had of me and Taylor pressing our bodies together. Only that mental image didn’t have anything to do with Taylor and it had everything to do with imagining that guy, I never did catch his name, doing the same thing I’d been doing with my fiance.
I stopped. Had to hold myself against Taylor because the rush of pure sexual energy that flowed through me thinking about that guy hovering over me was just that intense. I hadn’t felt something that intense in a good long time.
Damn.
“Is something wrong?” Taylor asked.
“No, I’m fine,” I lied.
I wondered if he thought about other girls like that. I wondered if he’d thought of Julia like that earlier. The girl was pretty and she obviously had the hots for my man. It was enough to make me want to go after her. Especially if her hankering for my man meant she sent those guys over to interrupt us.
“So are we going over to that party or what?” Taylor asked.
I looked up at him in obvious surprise. He smiled down at me and then it hit me exactly what he was doing.
He wasn’t happy. I wasn’t sure if it was because of the guys coming to my door or if it was because we’d been interrupted again. Maybe it was a little of column A and a little of column B.
Whatever it was, though, it was clear that he was in one of those moods where he was going to cut off his dick to spite his libido. He was annoyed that we’d been interrupted and now he was going to pull the routine where he wasn’t interested in sex at all.
God it frustrated me when he pulled that, but if he was going to do that then I was going to play along. It didn’t hurt that I was still suffering from more than a little confusion thinking about that guy and wondering what it would feel like if he was the one hovering over me instead of Taylor.
Damn. I went weak in the knees just thinking about it. This was dangerous. Very dangerous. Dangerous enough that I figured I should probably avoid parties over at the neighbors’ after tonight.
After tonight being the key words there. After all, I had Taylor with me right now. What’s the worst that could happen? It’s not like either one of us were going to be too naughty when we were right there to keep each other in line.
“Are you really sure that’s what you want to do?” I asked.
I wanted to make it absolutely clear what was on the line, so I reached down and cupped his cock with my hand. God it was so hard. He had to be so turned on right now and he was still trying to push me away.
The man was either really pissed off or he had an incredible amount of self control. Either way it was impressive and frustrating.
“I’m sure,” he said, though there was a catch to his voice as he said it that told me he might not be as sure as he acted like he was.
“Come on Taylor. You can’t act like this,” I said.
To be honest I was just as horny as he was. I needed a night with him. If anything my reaction to that cute guy was proof that I needed to do something with my fiance before he was gone and the only thing I had to keep myself company was my little plastic vibrating pal.
Not to mention there was a worry nagging at the back of my mind. One I didn’t even want to push to the front of my mind, but it was there nonetheless. The thought that maybe if I was left here all alone for an entire summer with a bunch of cute guys next door…
I pushed that thought away. That was probably what Taylor was thinking right about now. If that’s what he was thinking I don’t know why he’d suggest going over to the party, but whatever.
“Nope. I’m sure. I want to go over there and see what these guys are all about. Maybe if we get done there early enoug
h we can have some fun, but I do have a long drive,” he said.
“You’re being an ass again,” I said.
“Am I?” he said. “I guess I didn’t notice what with all the time you’ve been spending rearranging your bathroom, talking to your roommate, and flirting with a bunch of your next door neighbors.”
I saw red when he said that. Okay then. He was going to accuse me of screwing around when he thought I should be screwing him? Well two could play at that game.
If he wanted to play with fire then I was going to make sure he got burned. How dare he talk about me like that!
“Fine,” I said. “We’re going.”
“Aren’t you going to change?” he asked.
He looked me up and down. Took in the same sight those guys from next door had been enjoying while they were standing at the door to my room. Me in a tank top and shorts with no bra on.
Well if he was going to be an ass then I was going to let those guys enjoy the show. To be honest I felt a little tingle run through me at the thought of them staring at me.
Maybe more than a little tingle if we’re being perfectly honest.
“Nope. I think my outfit is just fine for a party tonight,” I said.
If he was going to be pissy about this then I’d be pissy right back at him. I could show him that two could play this game thank you very much.
“Fine. Doesn’t bother me,” he said in an indifferent tone that screamed that it bothered him. Good. That was just what I was hoping for.
“Come on then!” I said. “Time to see how nice these neighbors can be!”
This was crazy. I went from waking up this morning looking forward to spending the day with Taylor and getting to know the people I was going to be spending my summer with to being pissed off at Taylor and practically promising him I was going to flirt with a bunch of guys I barely knew at a party I had no intention of going to before he got pissy about it.
This was a dangerous star to my summer internship.

Taylor
I knew I was getting in over my head the moment we walked through the door. I should’ve never encouraged Carrie to come to a party like this.
Then again if she was going to be living next door to these guys and they were going to be audacious enough to come up to her fucking room on the first night she’d moved in then maybe it was a good thing I was here for the first time she went to a party with these assholes.
At least this way I could keep an eye on things for the first time. Make sure they knew she was spoken for and they needed to stay away from her for the summer.
Even if I was going to be five hours away for most of that summer. Even if there wasn’t a chance I was going to be able to do anything about it if some of them put the moves on my girl. The only thing I could hope was that she knew enough to stay away from guys who were obviously hitting on her.
Guys like that muscled prick who came up to her door and was staring at her tits the entire time he was trying to get her to come over to this party in the first place.
And yet.
There was something else bothering me. Something burning deep inside me. Something I’d felt a couple of times when we were at house parties and I saw guys checking her out before I swooped in and made sure they knew she was mine.
It wasn’t jealousy. Not exactly. Sure there was jealousy there, but there was something else there as well. A desire I had a hard time even articulating.
Almost as though I enjoyed the thought of those guys coming up to her room and hitting on her while I was right there watching. It was crazy, but there it was. And the thought that she’d be all alone around these guys for most of the summer?
Well it had that strange jealousy burning brighter than it ever had before. That was for sure. I didn’t know what to make of it.
“So this is what a party looks like for interns,” Carrie said. “Wild.”
It was wild. The place was just as big as Carrie’s apartment. There was a stair to one side that led up to rooms that were probably a mirror image of the rooms in Carrie’s place. There was even a door leading to a room on the first level, but it looked like people were going in and out of it unlike Carrie’s place where someone lived there.
I wondered if the other person who was supposed to be in that room hadn’t shown up yet. If that was the case they were going to be in for a rude surprise when they got here and realized people were using their first floor room as an extension of the party.
There was an island separating the kitchen from the living room, and one of the guys who’d been up at Carrie’s door was standing behind that island tending bar.
Tending bar was the best way to think about it. They had a selection of booze up there that would rival any bar I’d ever seen, though admittedly I hadn’t been to all that many since we’d only just hit twenty-one so we could go to bars.
The place was about as hopping as one of those bars with music pumping from a sound system set up in the living room. It looked like one of those surround sound systems in a box you could get at an electronics store, but even though it was small it was more than enough to fill the relatively small space of this apartment.
Damn. These guys knew how to party, and they’d come out to their internship ready to get down. I was suddenly getting more and more worried at the idea of my fiancee being neighbors to guys who could run an operation like this.
Even as that jealousy that wasn’t really jealousy pulsing inside me grew more and more insistent.
I shook my head to clear it. Yeah, the more I looked at this place the more I was thinking this wasn’t a good idea, but it was too late now. I’d already gotten pissed off and let my anger do most of my thinking for me. The only thing I could do was go along with the fucking mistake I’d made and try to keep an eye on Carrie through it all.
“Ready to have some fun?” I asked.
“Oh I’m ready,” she said, turning and looking up at me with an unreadable expression.
Then she bit her lip and winked at me and her expression became very readable, thank you very much. Very readable indeed. That was the sort of look she got when she was ready to go out and have some fun, and I wasn’t sure how much fun I wanted her to have at a party like this.
“You made it!” someone said, stepping out of the crowd.
I recognized the guy from Carrie’s room. The one who’d been standing there doing most of the talking. The one who seemed to have her undivided attention while he was talking to her.
Though I’m not sure how fair it was to get jealous of this guy. After all, I’d been the one staring at Julia earlier in the day. Pretty intently, I might add. It made me wonder if maybe Carrie staring at this guy had been part of some revenge plot for all the staring I was doing earlier.
“I never got a chance to introduce myself, by the way,” he said. He held a hand out. “I’m Colin. And you’re Carrie, right?”
He knew her name. Someone told him her name and he said this wasn’t the first year he’d been out here for one of these internships. Something told me Julia was here somewhere and she had something to do with this. I craned my neck looking for her in the crowd, but there were too many people around to see more than a couple people deep in that crowd.
How did they get this many people to come to what amounted to a glorified house party?
“Nice to meet you Colin,” Carrie said with a little giggle.
I looked back to her with that giggle. That was the sort of giggle she usually only let out when she was really having a good time. The sort of good time I didn’t want her having with a strange guy I barely knew.
She shot a look at me, really more of a glare than anything else, and I knew what was going on. She was doing this for my benefit. She was doing this to try and piss me off. She knew the only reason we were here was because I let myself get mad and now I was going to be paying for it.
Damn it.
Coming here was a mistake. A huge fucking mistake and I couldn’t do
anything about it. Not without looking like even more of an asshole, at least.
“Taylor, right?” Colin asked.
He reached a hand out. I looked down at it for a moment before taking it. He squeezed my hand and I squeezed right back. The smile never left his face, but I could tell that handshake was him testing me. I’m not sure what he was testing me for, but I had a pretty good idea.
After all, he was going to be here all summer with my girlfriend and I was going to be stuck at home unable to do a fucking thing about this guy trying to hit on her.
Damn it.
“Nice to meet you Colin,” I said. “Nice place you have here.”
He laughed. “It’s about the same as every other place in this apartment complex, but they’re pretty easygoing about the noise ordinances here. We’re close enough to campus that no one lives around here who isn’t associated with the school or the company.”
“Right,” I said. “So you turn your place into party central?”
“Something like that,” he said. “I’ve been friends with Derek and Isaac for a couple of years now. We all roomed on our own the first year, but once we realized that we all enjoyed the same lifestyle we decided to room together the second year.”
“So it’s only the three of you?” I asked. “I thought they were stuffing these places full of people.”
“You’d think that,” Colin said. “We got lucky this year, is all. There’s something wrong with the plumbing in the shower downstairs so they didn’t put someone in there. Means we get a whole party room to ourselves though!”
“Right,” I said. “Lucky you.”
“You have no idea,” he said.
The conversation hadn’t lasted that long and he still held my hand. He pulled me in closer and grinned.
“A place like this is great for pulling in the ladies. Know what I mean?”
