Silk in Bonds

  “How are you doing?”

Her muscles were so tight from fighting one another that she knew he could see her shaking. “I need to move. Please, Sir, let me move,” she whined.

“No,” he said flatly then stepped closer, pressing his front against hers until she was leaning against the pole behind her.

Leaning down, he kissed her, forcing her lips apart and then delving deep, taking her mind off everything except the dance of tongues from her mouth to his and back again. The masterful way he kissed her shorted her thinking, blanked her mind, and allowed her to do nothing but kiss him back.

The press of his long, broad erection into her belly added to the distraction. She only had a few seconds to consider what the man might look like naked before the hand between her legs shifted. A long, thick finger slid into her, pressing deep then pulling back out until only the tip remained parting her lower lips.

He swallowed the whining moan she emitted as his finger began a slow in-and-out thrusting. Then it disappeared for a second before being replaced by two fingers. She panted and moaned with each thrust, needing more, just a little more to reach a level of nirvana she had never been to before.

Instead, Rafe broke the kiss for a moment before returning and kissing her some more. In the next second, his thumb pressed down on her clit and began to rub it as his fingers continued to fuck her.

Silk could no longer fight the need. Turning her head, she began to do the one thing she had always said she would never do with any dominant she played with.

She begged. “Please, Sir. Please let me come. Let me move. Pleeease,” she panted.

Rafe’s thumb began to move in circles over her pleasure center. “Come for me, wildcat. Let go and fly,” he ordered.

With that, everything inside her exploded, a white light filled her entire being, and her thoughts fragmented. All she could do was continue breathing as her body shook with the fury of her release. Rafe’s fingers continued fucking her as his thumb massaged her clit, keeping her orgasm rolling through her and she found herself in a new, uncharted headspace.

  Then everything went black.

Rafe knew he was pushing Silk, but she had done so well that he wanted to give her a special treat, and at this moment, all he could offer was this few minutes of orgasmic bliss. When her body went completely limp, he grinned. Reaching behind her, he pulled the scarf from her wrists and tucked it back into his pocket. Then he shifted his body and lifted the unconscious woman into his arms.

She was a delightful armful as he carried her across the room and up the steps leading to the gypsy wagon. After laying her on the silk-covered mattress, he went into the bathroom. He washed his hands, then wet a washcloth and grabbed a bottle of water from the counter before returning to where his little wildcat slumbered.

Cleaning her up took only a few seconds, and then he lay down and pulled a fuzzy blanket over them both before snuggling the woman into his side. Then he laid back and relaxed for a few minutes while Silk slept. She was going to be more difficult to tame than he’d originally thought, though with distraction, she had fulfilled his required ten minutes of physical stillness.

“You did good, wildcat,” he said, brushing a kiss on her head. “Now to still your mind.”

Though his cock was hard as a granite pike, he found he was content. He smiled as his thoughts drifted. Cuddling with this beautiful woman gave him a peace he had never found before. He wasn’t sure if it was because she was napping, or if it was the vitality and wildness he felt even through her current stillness.

In that second, he realized it didn’t matter. He wanted this woman in his life.

Time passed and his thoughts drifted like a leaf on a river. He smiled when he heard her breathing halt for a few seconds at the same time her muscles went rigid.

“Shhh. You’re safe. You did very well,” he said softly as he hugged her closer to the side of his body.

“What happened?” she whispered, her breath teasing the hair on his chest.

Instead of answering her question, he asked one of his own. “How do you feel?”

He heard her swallow and then relaxed. “Soft. Loose. Floaty. Does that make any sense?”

  “Yes, that makes perfect sense.”

Since she was still relaxed, he did not make any moves to end things. Talking as they cuddled would be good. “What did you think about your first exercise in stillness?”

He felt her swallow and shift against him. Then she grew still once more. “I didn’t think it would be that difficult, but then again maybe I did,” she answered, her voice still a big fuzzy around the edges.

“But you did it. Next time it should be easier,” Rafe said.

  “Next time?”

“Oh, yes, sweet wildcat and next time I’ll break out my ropes and tie you so you can’t move and then fuck you until you fly,” Rafe said just as the lights blinked off and on several times. “For now, we need to get downstairs before we find ourselves locked in for the night.”

Silk pushed out of his arms and sat up. “Oh my God, is it really that late? I wonder if Dominic is still here. How am I going to get home if he’s gone? I didn’t bring any money with me.”

When she scrambled out of the wagon and straightened her clothes, Rafe growled, “Stop.”

She froze for a few seconds, then slowly turned to face him as she smoothed her chemise down over her ass and upper thighs.

Rafe moved more slowly as he climbed out. Crossing the room, he pulled Silk into his arms and tangled his fingers in the hair at the back of her head. Pulling it back, he got nose-to-nose with her. “How are you feeling right now?”

  “Wired. Stressed. Worried.”

“Take a deep breath, and as you exhale, I want you to blow all that negative thinking, worry and stress out.” He waited while she took a deep breath and then blew it out. “Feel better?”

  She nodded slowly.

“Now, we are going to go downstairs and you will not worry or stress or go crazy, no matter what happens. Do you understand?”

  “Yes, Sir,” she whispered.

Brushing a kiss over her lips, he stepped back and held his left hand up between them. He was surprised she laid her right hand in it while looking up at him. He looked into her eyes and saw the beginnings of trust in their deep brown depths.

“Good girl,” he said, lifting her hand and brushing a kiss on the knuckles.

Turning her hand, he laced their fingers together before leading the way out of the gypsy room. He was pleased with what they had accomplished, though he realized there was much more work to be done before he could put Silk in the bonds he could see her wearing. The first hurdle would be to convince Silk they were meant to be together for more than just a week or two of playing at the club.

“Oh no,” Silk murmured as she looked across the room below. In the next heartbeat, her entire body began to vibrate with anxiety. “Dominic’s gone.”

Rafe pulled her around to face him before quickly he swatted her ass several times with his free hand. “Didn’t we just talk about you not worrying about things?”

She looked at him, tears glistening in her eyes though he wasn’t sure if it was from pain or panic. “Yes, Sir,” she whispered.

“Well then, take a deep breath, relax and let your Master worry about how and when you will get home.”

She took one, and then another deep breath, holding it and releasing it as if she had been taught the procedure at some time in her past. He made a note to talk to her about that. When she opened her mouth and looked like she was going to question something he’d said, he frowned and shook his head. She snapped her jaw closed again.

He was tempted to wrap an arm around Silk to pull her closer as they descended the stairs to the main floor. Instead, he held her hand. It felt right to have their fingers linked and her palm nestled in his. Since she did not try to pull away, he left things the way they were. For now.

  “Ah, you live,” Je
nna teased as they crossed the open space between the staircase and the bar.

“Was there any doubt we wouldn’t?”

“The Zen Master taking on the Tasmanian she-devil gave us cause to worry that one of you might not make it out alive,” Taurus answered, his tone dry.

When Silk’s hand squeezed his, he glanced down and found her cheeks red with embarrassment and tears glistening in her eyes. She was not taking the teasing well no matter how good-natured it was meant to be.

Turning to face him, he leaned down until his lips were next to her ear. “Retrieve your things from the lobby and change if you brought clothes. Then come back here and wait for me. You may have juice or water, but nothing alcoholic while you wait for me to return.”

  “Yes, Sir,” she whispered.

  Chapter Four

Silk dressed in the black yoga pants, black ankle boots, and black coat she had worn to the club that evening, thankful for the warm clothes. When she returned to the bar, she felt more self-conscious than usual as she slid onto a seat next to Master Taurus’s wife and slave, Whitney. Mistress Jenna and her two slave boys, Antony and Gentry, sat on the woman’s other side.

“What can I get you, Silk?”

“Orange juice, please,” she answered automatically.

When the cup was placed in front of her, she lifted it and drank half before setting it back on the bar and wrapping both hands around it. Rafe had not given her any instructions about whether or not she could speak, so she thought it best to just sit and be quiet even though her mind was going a million miles a minute. Her random thoughts ranged from whether she wanted to see Rafe again to how she could get out of going to the yoga class he wanted her to attend, to being hurt at being called a Tasmanian she-devil.

She was so caught up in her thoughts that she did not notice Rafe’s return until a big, warm hand settled on her shoulder and pulled her into his side.

“Ready to go? Or would you like to hang out here longer?” he asked, his deep voice rumbling through her chest and into her body where she was pressed against him.

“I’m ready whenever you are, Sir,” she answered, keeping her eyes focused on her juice.

“Finish that and we’ll go,” he ordered, brushing a kiss on the top of her head.

She lifted the glass and downed the rest of the contents in one go. Her emotions, which had gone wilder than usual during the past couple of hours, were nose-diving. She thought it might be sub-drop as well as learning what the club owners thought of her. She needed to be alone to get herself back under some kind of control.

They didn’t understand that she didn’t want to be this way. She hated that she could not be still, could not relax, had a dozen thoughts a second race through her mind. She wished she could be like some of her friends who could sit in the uncollared submissive area for hours without fidgeting or twitching. That was why she volunteered so often to work as a waitress. She needed to be doing something.

Her therapist had suggested she take up knitting to help her settle, but she didn’t think it would help, so she had not looked into taking a class. She had always been active, never been able to sit and do nothing. Even while watching a DVD at home, she usually surfed the internet on her tablet, worked a puzzle, or read one of the thousands of e-books she had. Learning to knit might help, but then again, she’d probably end up knitting while reading and watching television.

Then she wondered if Rafe and his yoga class might help her focus her thoughts in one direction instead of a dozen. Could the stilling of her body also still her mind?

“Ready?” he asked once he had finished answering a question Taurus had asked.

  “Yes, Sir,” she answered.

Only then did she notice that he had redressed in the suit and dark overcoat he had worn earlier when he had worked the front parking lot. The dark suit and white shirt, even without the black tie he usually wore, caused Silk’s mood to drop even further. He was so handsome and dressed up, and her chemise was tucked into her yoga pants, she had no panties on, and without makeup or her hair tamed, she knew she looked a mess.

But a glance up at his face showed her that he didn’t seem to care.

Nodding good-bye to the others, she slipped off her barstool and took Rafe’s hand. The feel of his fingers sliding between hers sent a shiver of reawakening need through her to land heavily just behind her clit. By the time they reached the back door of the building, her pussy was damp and her nipples peaked and needy.

Rafe did not speak until they were out in the parking lot. “You okay, wildcat?”

She shrugged. How was she supposed to answer that question? “Sure, I guess,” she finally said. “Just tired.”

“Uh-huh. Sure, and Master Taurus’s comment had nothing to do with your wilting like a hothouse flower out of water.” Rafe led the way across the small parking lot to a four-door sedan that didn’t fit her image of the man at all. She figured he would drive a tricked-out SUV or pickup truck, or some other testosterone fueled vehicle.

Since his observation was a comment and not a question, Silk did not bother to answer. How could she? The man’s words had hurt and there was no denying it. There was also no way she could say the description did not fit her to a T.

She was only mildly surprised when Rafe led her to the passenger door, which he opened for her. When she moved to climb into the car, he stopped her by wrapping his arms around her and pulling her to rest against his chest.

“Even if it didn’t bother you, I didn’t like it. I let Taurus know the comment was cruel and uncalled for.”

His words touched her in a way she couldn’t describe, and once again her eyes filled with tears of unexpressed emotion. “Thank you,” she whispered into his chest.

“You’re very welcome. Now, get in and we’ll go get something to eat before I take you home.”

Silk’s stomach rumbled even as she stared up at the man who she could easily look as a hero. “But—”

“But nothing. We’re both hungry and I’d like to talk a bit as Rafe and Silk, and not just Sir and his wildcat. Or would you rather I just take you home?”

Once again, Silk’s thoughts raced. In less time than it took to take a breath and release it again, she had argued both sides of spending time outside the club with Rafe Carlton. She reached the conclusion that it might not be such a bad thing to get to know the man outside the walls of the club.

“I’d like that, but I don’t have my wallet with me,” she said, looking up into a face that she knew would haunt her dreams for nights to come.

“Not sure who you’ve been hanging out with, but when I ask a woman out I don’t expect her to pay for her meal with anything more than a smile and thank you,” he said as he helped her into the passenger’s seat before closing the door.

By the time Rafe pulled into the driveway and parked in front of the Zaccaro family home, the sun was coming up over the horizon. He had not meant to stay out all night with the pretty submissive, but a quick burger and fries turned into hours of conversation, which showed him a whole different side to Silk, a side that was smart, funny, and able to talk intelligently on most any subject under the sun.

The conversation was nonlinear, bouncing around so much that he sometimes had a hard time keeping up, and while some of her observations and arguments might have been a little off-the-wall, delving into the reasons behind her position proved the little Italian beauty was insightful and a deeper thinker than anyone gave her credit for.

Not only was he impressed, he acknowledged he could be falling in love with her.

With a pause in the conversation as he turned off the car, he decided it was time to make his intentions known. “You need a keeper, wildcat, and I’ve decided I’d be the perfect man for the job.”

He looked over and saw his announcement had shocked her. Then she closed her mouth, took a slow, deep breath and let it out before she said, “Oh, you do, do you? And do I have anything to say about this?”
/>
He smirked. “You can always use your safe word, but you need a full-time Master to keep you grounded and under control.”

“Uh-huh,” she said, turning to look out the window.

“I don’t expect an answer right away. In the meantime, sunrise yoga is six o’clock Tuesday morning. We meet in the gazebo at Union Point,” Rafe said as he parked and climbed out of the car.

He went around and opened her door, biting back a grin when she stared up at him in horror. “Six in the morning?”

“Yes, Silk, six in the morning.”

“But I don’t do mornings,” she nearly wailed in protest as he led her to the door.

He didn’t respond. Instead, he gave her a chaste kiss instead of the long, deep, soul kiss he wanted. “I’ll see you Tuesday. I’ll have a mat for you if you don’t have one.”

She still looked like she wanted to argue, but instead nodded. “I’ll try.”

“That’s all I can expect,” he said, brushing one last kiss on her forehead before turning and heading back to her car. “Sweet dreams.”

By the time he was in his car, she had disappeared into the house. He sat for a moment before putting the car into gear and driving away. As he drove from her family’s home on the river to his apartment across town, he began planning the punishment she would earn for not showing up Tuesday morning, and he knew she wouldn’t be there because she didn’t yet realize that though they were such extreme opposites, they were perfect for one another.

Silk rolled over, looked at her clock and groaned. Four-thirty on a Tuesday morning. Too early to think about getting up, even if she did want to see Rafe away from Club Esoteria, but it was expected and she had a feeling he would not be pleased if she rolled over and went back to sleep for another three or four hours.

Dragging herself out of bed, she pulled on black leggings, a form-fitting red T-shirt and one of Dominic’s sweatshirts that was humongous enough to fall to look like a dress on her. After braiding her hair, she checked the mirror, then made a face at the sleepy woman who looked back at her.
