Zivan (Scifi Alien Romance) (Galactic Mates)

The rational side of me wins out.

  By a hair.

I gently lower the thin blanket on top of him. This covers his many muscles, though it does nothing to hide the size of his erection. The large tent stands up proudly, like the peak of a mountain that dominates the countryside.

I sneak towards his kitchen, mentally chastising myself. I must be losing my mind. Perhaps I’m famished, or I have some kind of space induced fever. That must be it. I have no right to peep on him like that.

He has no right to look that damn good, though.

I grab some breakfast and slam one of the cupboards shut extra hard to ensure he’ll wake up. I pray that this confusing episode will be over soon, for my own mental wellbeing.

“Morning,” Zivan yawns, looking at me through the slits of his eyes. “You’re up early.”

“Time to get back to work,” I say, as much to him as to myself.

  “All business, hm?”

  “Of course.”

Zivan stands up and stretches his arms above his head, the blanket which I so carefully placed on his purple frame falling down to the floor, exposing his glorious naked body to me once again.

  Damn it.

I clasp my hands in front of my eyes, though I keep looking through the gaps between my fingers. Another quick look won’t hurt, after all. The damage has been done.

  “Do you mind?!” I say.

Zivan glances down, a sheepish grin on his face.

  “Oh, sorry,” he says.

  Yeah right!

So much for him being a perfect gentleman, purposely flashing me that hard and throbbing cock of his, along with his beautiful, amazing, mouth-watering, sculpted body…

  Zivan

Mia is practically eye-fucking me from across the room. Her hands are covering her face, but she can’t hide those radiant, green eyes from me. Like two perfect emeralds, dripping with desire.

Unbeknownst to her I woke up the moment she walked into the living room. My trained ears heard her gasp, and I watched her reaction through my half-opened eyes.

She had no idea, for her focus was on my body.

The way she looked at my cock though… that got me instantly hard.

  Pure arousal and admiration.

She tucked her red hair behind her ears and bent down to get a better look. She admired my form for what felt like a minute. I could feel her hot breath against my member, and within moments I was as hard as a rock.

I thought, no, prayed that she’d actually take me into her mouth… that the sight of me alone was enough to drive her mad with lust, to send her over the edge.

Talk about a damn ego boost.

I did see her lick her lips, and that made my purple dick ooze precum. She was so close she could have just licked it off…

But instead, she covered me with a blanket and stormed off, her chest heaving with every breath.

I’m sure I detected the sweet scent of her arousal as well.

“Sorry,” I lie as I stretch my arms above my head, giving her a perfect view of my naked form. My cock bobs between my legs like a predator.

My prey is only a few feet away. I could easily take her right now…

I grab the white sheet from the floor and tie it around my waist. It does little to conceal the size of my raging erection, as planned. I sit down at my kitchen counter, smirking at Mia.

She can barely face me. Her eyes are cast downwards, and her cheek are as red as a tomato. The sight of my purple, Zoran cock has transformed the fiery woman who slapped me off my barstool into a shy, quivering girl.

“Have I embarrassed you?” I ask.

She glances up at me, those beautiful green eyes of hers filled with a myriad of emotions.

“Do you have a license for that thing?” she asks softly, her lips curling up into a smile.

A frown flashes across my face. “A license? For what?”

She nods. “For that weapon you’re waving around. You nearly poked my eye out, you know.”

A lightbulb goes off in my head. “Aha! You mean my cock!”

Mia rolls her eyes. “Yes, genius! What else?”

I shrug. “You confused me. And for the record, no, I do not possess a cock-license. Would I have to get one on Earth? Who would I even see about that?”

She shakes her head, her shoulders heaving with silent laughter.

“Is there some kind of cock-department that gives out licenses? Does that mean I could be allowed to open carry? When does one even qualify for a cock-license? What are the exact requirements? Why are you laughing?”

  “Forget it, Zivan, forget it.”

  “But my cock is unforgettable.”

She rests her elbows on the table, looking at me with a bemused smirk.

“You don’t suffer from a lack of confidence, do you?”

“That I do not. Getting back to that license you were talking about…”

“Oh my, Zivan,” she says, throwing up her hands. “You sound obsessed. Every man has one.”

  I raise one eyebrow.

“I just want to avoid any cock-related legal issues if I visit Earth. And, I very much doubt that you’ve ever seen one like mine.”

Mia looks at me defiantly, but her eyes are smiling.

“And what do you base that on?”

“That amazed look in your eyes.”

She instantly glances away. “Amazed is not the word,” she mutters.

“Hypnotized, then?” I offer. “Captivated? Enchanted? Mesmerized?”

  “Flabbergasted,” she retorts.

  “Bewitched.”

  “No, bewildered.”

  “Enamored.”

“No, fascinated,” she says. She clasps her hand in front of her mouth when she realizes what she said.

“Fascinated, hm?” I muse. “I can live with that.”

“I need to go,” she says as she grabs her beige trench coat and slips it around her shoulders.

“Wait,” I say, rising from my seat. “Where are you going?”

“To the Foundation,” she says, doing her best to look me in the eyes. She only glances downward a dozen times. “Before I do something I regret.”

She turns and storms out the door before I have a chance to stop her. I nearly chase her down the hall, but when I glance down I see that the sheet has untied itself — it’s held up by my fierce erection alone.

My body lusts for Mia, for her touch, her warmth. Those coy, sexy smiles she gave me only fueled my erection. I’m enjoying the slow seduction, the defrosting of her heart, the thrill of the chase. I remember vividly how she looked at me before slapping me off my stool. Those green gemstones of hers were filled with fury. Now they glisten with arousal. The next step? Squeezed shut in orgasmic bliss as I fill her up with every inch of my so-called fascinating cock.

Speaking of cocks, I squeeze the base of mine, willing it to go down long enough so I can slip into my uniform.

An open carry license for my member would really come in handy on days like this. Sure, it would be tricky in the elevator, but on the whole I see a lot of possibilities.

Those humans are a lot more progressive than I first thought. We could learn a thing or two from them.

After a few minutes have passed and I’ve focused extensively on the wonderful Zoran sport of crossball I can finally slip into my uniform and head to the station. I feel like I’m walking on air, and a grin is permanently fixed on my face.

The moment I enter the station, that smile disappears like snow in the sun.

“Zivan!” Forlyn screams the instant he sees me. I’ve never seen the old man so worked up. His eyes are nearly bulging out of their sockets, his shrill voice echoing off the walls.

  “My office! Now!”

I stroll into his office, still not at all worried.

  That’s all about to change.

“What the hell did you do last night?” my boss demands to know.

“Last night? Nothing important,” I say. “Why?” />
He taps a button on the screen and security footage of my work-station appears on his screen.

“What do you call this, then?!”

I stare at the grainy image. It shows me and Mia hunched over my desk.

“That is me helping a human detective try to crack a case,” I tell Forlyn. “Nothing more.”

This answer does nothing to placate my Terulian boss. The veins at his temples are throbbing so hard they look like they might burst at any moment.

“Do you have any idea what you’ve done?!” he breathes.

“Improved the image of Observer Security by assisting an Alliance member’s police force in their investigation?”

  Wrong answer.

“What do you know about the Foundation?!”

“Oh, that place? Nothing,” I shrug.

“Keep it that way,” Forlyn says. “Your snooping around set off all kinds of alarm bells. Spooks showed up first thing in the morning, asking questions, poking around. You better let this rest if you know what’s good for you.”

“Spooks?” I ask. “What do you mean?”

“What do you think I mean?!” he bellows. “Spooks! The secret police! The damn Order!”

My chest feels like it is being squeezed by a vice. The Order is a secret organization, talked about in hushed whispers. If they’re involved, then that is bad, bad news.

  Oh no.

  Mia.

She’s headed to the Foundation right now.

  9

  Mia

My heart is still racing as I speed-walk through the halls of the Observer. I can’t believe that Zivan got me that flustered.

His alpha arrogance is proving incredibly hard to resist. Those beautiful eyes of his, that cocky, self-assured smirk, combined with his charming wit and that godly body… storming out of there was the only option I had left.

It was either that or my knees would have gone so weak I would have dropped right on the floor. And I’m sure Zivan would have taken me kneeling down in front of him as an open invitation…

Another surge of heat courses through my veins.

Damn it, Mia. Keep it together.

I’m pacing toward the Foundation, trying to crack this case. This is what matters. This is where all my attention ought to be.

Not on some alpha’s purple, throbbing, quivering cock, no matter how grand or appealing it is.

  Work takes precedence over pleasure.

No matter how mind-bending that pleasure may be.

Finding the Foundation’s building is a lot harder than I thought. I jotted the location down on my com, but all these alleys and hallways look alike to me. I have no idea how the people who live on this station can move through this maze of hallways seemingly without trouble.

The streets are filled with commuters going to their job, and I bump into quite a few shoulders as I keep one eye on the map on my com.

I feel a renewed sense of gratitude for the navigation on my hover-car.

My stomach grumbles as I walk past a StarCups. Zivan managed to distract me so much with that otherworldly body of his I didn’t even manage to finish my breakfast.

I can’t really crack a case on an empty stomach.

I enter the coffee chain, or kahfee, as the aliens call it. Not every species in the universe accepts mankind as an equal partner, but there’s one thing everyone can agree on: they love our black goodness. StarCups is the first human multi-planet corporation, and it’s taking the universe by storm.

I’m surprised by how much this StarCups is like the one in New Atlanta. It’s not just the logo of the earthly woman that’s the same — the entire store is the same!

I’m not sure if the familiarity fills me with a sense of ease or discomfort. On one hand it’s nice and comforting to be in a place so recognizable so many miles from home, but on the other hand, it also feels like a missed opportunity.

The only thing that is different is the menu and the size of the seats, to accommodate all the different types of aliens who call the Observer their home. A normal cup of joe is much too weak for most aliens. StarCups has taken genetic engineering to the next level, creating coffee beans that produce a cup a hundred times as strong as what humans drink.

This is why I am very clear when it is my turn to order.

“One human cup of coffee and two pieces of, uhm, that,” I say to the Falurian barista as I point at an alien pastry in the display case.

  “Name?” the dragon-kin growls.

  “Mia,” I say.

I patiently await my turn, taking a moment to people watch. There’s so many different kinds of aliens going about their day on this station. At first I was nervous about going here, as the mere concept of space scares the crap out of me. If the wall tears we could all die in an instant. I don’t like the idea of that. Not one bit.

However, I underestimated just how big this space station is. Calling it a ‘station’ is an understatement. The Observer is not just a space station, it’s a space city. A space country!

Millions call it their home. It’s easy to forget you’re even in space. I wonder what all these people, Falurian, Tyk’ix, Melek and others, are up to. What kind of jobs do they have? Where do they go to unwind?

I suppose the answer is not as exotic as I hope it is. They’re all just people after all, working jobs not unlike those back on Earth, trying to feed their families.

  “Mia!”

I’m roused from my thoughts by the Falurian barista. Judged by his stare it’s not the first time he’s called my name. I accept the drink from his claw and look at the name scribbled on the side.

  “Myiah,” it reads.

Yup, just like the StarCups at home.

I sip on my warm drink and eat my breakfast. The strange, alien pastry is so sweet it feels like my teeth will shatter, but it in the best possible way. I wash it down with the hot, black goodness.

Million miles from home, but the coffee tastes exactly the same.

  My com buzzes. Jackson.

“Wilco!” I say as I answer the call. My wrist-com projects a holo-field so I can see my colleague when we talk. Normally I don’t answer my com in a coffee place, as I think it’s a little rude, but there’s no one sitting close by. And besides, I’m a tourist here anyway.

  “Good evening, Frost,” he says.

  “Good morning, Jackson.”

  “Morning?”

“There’s a time difference,” I say, “You genius. Millions of miles away and all. Passed a few time zones on the way. Suns, too, in fact.”

“Yeah, yeah,” he says, “Make fun of the Earthling, why don’t you. You’re just like the rest of ‘em, Frost. Spend one second up in space and you get all high and mighty. Literally.”

“You take that back,” I threaten. “I’m a landlubber, same as you.”

“No, you crossed that bridge when you left me here on the surface. You know I’m working your shift right now, right?”

“Hey, blame that on the captain! I never wanted this case to begin with,” I say.

“Sure, Frost,” Jackson laughs. “I don’t buy it for a second. Anyway, how’s your case going?”

“I tracked the girl down to this Foundation,” I say. “I’m just eating breakfast before I go kicking down the door.”

I neglect to say I’ve had trouble finding the damn building as well. Don’t need to give Jackson more ammunition to tease me with.

“Don’t let me keep you then,” Wilco says, tipping his hat.

“Wait, was there a reason you called?”

My colleague shrugs. “It’s quiet without you here, Frost. Just checking up on you.”

Aw. My co-workers care about me!

“Well, I’m still alive and kicking.”

“Make you sure you keep it that way, you hear,” Jackson says.

  “Aye aye. Frost out.”

I finish my pastry, down my coffee, and head back into the streets with renewed vigor. After taking a few wrong turns, I finally end up in f
ront of the Foundation’s building. It’s tucked away in an alley, far away from the beaten path. One doesn’t accidentally stumble into this place — you need to come here with a purpose.

Even though it’s well past eight, the lights inside are still off. No one seems to be home. I walked past it twice before realizing that this is the right place.

Just as I raise my hand to knock on the door, my wrist-com buzzes.

  Zivan.

I dismiss the call. I don’t need that distraction right now.

I have a case to crack and a girl to save.

  10

  Zivan

I stare at my boss’s old, wrinkled face. He’s standing in front of the door, his arms spread wide.

“If you’re thinking of going out there, you lost your mind,” he says.

He’s mighty quick for a senior Terulian. He dropped his cane and leaped forward the moment I rose from my seat. I always suspected it was just a prop.

“She’s just a human,” he says. “Forget about her. It’s in the hands of the Order now.”

I don’t give a fuck about the Order. Yes, they may be the Intergalactic Alliance’s secret police, a shadowy organization that has been accused of abduction, torture and assassinations — but anyone who gets between me and Mia is going to feel my wrath.

I don’t care if it’s King Vinz or a whole squadron of Ygg. No one’s able to stop me.

“Get out of my way,” I growl.

Every muscle in my body is tensed up. I don’t want to do it, but if I have to, I’ll throw Forlyn through his damn office window.

“If you walk through this door, you’re giving up your badge,” Forlyn threatens. “You’re walking away from the only life you know. Don’t be stupid.”

“What life is that? Doing paperwork? Letting crime run rampant while I’m stuck behind a desk researching alien cuisines? Get out of my way, Forlyn. Don’t make me ask you again.”

“I can see why the Zoran Forces sent you here,” he says. “You are insubordinate.”

“I have a conscience,” I growl. “Something that you seem to lack.”

“No, you have a dick, and you’re only thinking with that.”
