But I needed more. I needed hard, and I needed fast.
“Faster,” I begged.
His hips pulled back and slammed back into me harder and faster, but it still wasn’t enough.
“Harder,” I cried.
Another hard thrust had my pussy clenching, and I was so close. The sounds of my wet pussy and Reyes’ hard cock slapping together had me screaming his name as I drove right off the cliff.
Reyes kept thrusting, and it sent me over again and again. He pumped harder and faster chasing his own orgasm. Three more bed shaking thrusts, and he was groaning against my lip as his hot cum flooded me.
“Fuck, I need to remember condoms,” he groaned as he pulled out.
I wanted to point out it was a little late for that, but then I remembered the other woman. My hands shook as I fisted them, and my nails began to dig into my hands.
“Not a problem,” I tell him quietly.
Rolling away I climbed from the bed. Our combined juices ran down my legs, but I ignore it. I needed clothes, and I needed to pack them. The sooner I did that, the sooner I could get the fuck out of here and away from Reyes.
Chapter 13
Alanna
Present Day.
The road stretched out in front of us like a never-ending black river. Reyes kept trying to talk to me, but I tuned him out. After a few failed attempts he got the hint and shut the fuck up.
Closing my eyes, I pretended today had been different. That we didn’t just have a good-bye fuck but instead we made love, and he told me that I was his one and only.
A small snort escaped me at my fairytale thoughts. It was never going to happen. The man had his dick buried deep inside of me and told me that he was going to fuck around.
Really, Alanna, you’re reliving this again? Why put yourself through this?
My eyes closed, and I drifted off. I was sixteen and swimming in the pool with Bianca. Reyes was drinking a beer and laughing with Ryan. Both of them were wearing the Grimm Brothers leather cut. They had joined a couple of years ago.
Bianca couldn’t keep her eyes off Ryan, and I knew even then that she loved him just as much as I loved Reyes.
They were completely oblivious to us. I hated the fact Reyes could so easily see past me. There were always other women in the way, and it was never the same one.
My heart felt like a pin cushion, and every little stab sunk deep. The needles lodged there and were never removed. How many more could fit before it was too full?
“Is this how it’s going to be?” Reyes’ voice invaded my thoughts giving me a short reprieve.
“I don’t have anything to say,” I tell him honestly.
What was there to say? He made himself clear months ago. He wasn’t a one-woman man, and I wasn’t okay with that.
“We need to talk, Alanna,” he informed me.
“And I don’t want too,” I tell him coldly.
“Too fucking bad,” he snapped at me.
Turning, I looked at him and took in his profile. My heart did a flip and my fingers clenched in anger at him. I still wanted him, but he was still an asshole.
“No, Reyes, we don’t,” I tell him firmly.
There was nothing he was going to say to change my mind.
“I’ve changed,” he tells me.
I couldn’t help but snort at the absurdity of it.
“Bullshit,” I snapped at him.
Anger, red-hot fury was taking over my calm body.
“Shit, Alanna. I can’t stomach the idea of fucking someone else,” he said in a frustrating voice.
And I was supposed to believe this bullshit? That in all these months he’s been celibate? Didn’t Bianca tell me he hasn’t been faithful?
“I don’t believe you! How could you lie to my face like this Reyes?” I cried.
Tears filled my eyes; damn pregnancy hormones were riding me harder than ever.
“I’m not fucking lying. Tell me one goddamn time I’ve lied to you, Alanna,” he asked me. His voice was filled with both hurt and anger.
“Bianca told me, Reyes,” I tell him darkly.
“She doesn’t know shit,” he growled back.
“I can’t. Please don’t do this to me,” I begged Reyes as big fat tears leaked out of my eyes. They streamed down my face like heated rivers.
“Alanna,” he started again.
“No, Reyes. No more! I can’t handle this right now. I just can’t,” I tell him firmly while shaking my head.
My hand instinctively went to my slightly rounded stomach. I rubbed it in soothing motions not sure if I was trying to soothe our child or me.
His jaw clenched as he watched my hand move back and forth turning into slow circles, while I took deep fortifying breaths.
“Are you hungry?” he asked me, changing the subject.
Turning I gave him a sad smile.
“Starved,” I tell him honestly.
These days I was always hungry.
“Fast food okay?” he asked quietly.
I grimaced at the thought of all that grease. The thought of the fried food resulted in my stomach growling. My cheeks pinked up in embarrassment.
“I can find something else,” he tells me with a small laugh.
“No, its fine,” I tell him because it was. I may not want that artery-clogging fried shit, but the baby was all for it.
Chapter 14
Gunner
Present Day.
The clubhouse was nasty and worse than ours. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Sal, the club president, greeted me with ill-disguised hate.
I’ve been here for a few months trying to dig through this shit storm that they call a club. The first thing I uncovered, not that they were trying to hide it, was the strip club that doubled as a whore house.
Cassie was the only bright spot to this shit mission. She was Sal’s daughter, and she was fucking perfect in every way.
Sal made one thing clear to every man around, Cassie was off limits. If anyone touched her with their dick or even a finger, Sal was going to remove it and feed it to you.
I wasn’t here for the pussy, I was only here to find out what kind of shit this club was sunk in. Although, Cassie wasn’t just any pussy.
“Gunner,” Sal called out.
Turning, I looked at the man. He had gray hair and tan, leathery skin that went well with his rough, cracking voice.
“Get your ass in here boy,” he snapped.
The fucking bastard, I hated him like nothing I’ve ever hated before. Cassie looked up from the bar that she was wiping down, and I gave her a small wave when she caught me staring at her.
She was utter perfection with long brown hair and sparkling emerald colored eyes. Her hourglass figure was a perfect combination to her short five-foot-five body.
Stalking into the room that Sal disappeared in, I noticed the other brothers already seated around the table. A few looked unhappy to see me, while others looked ready to start a mutiny.
I knew a good handful of the brothers were ready to switch clubs while the others wallowed in whatever debauchery they could find themselves in.
“What the fuck is going on?” I asked the full room of brothers.
“Sit, we need to get this shit moving,” Sal demanded.
Whatever they’ve been up to was finally coming to a head.
“We need to move now. We’ve been sitting back for way too long, and Emilio isn’t happy about it,” Sal told the room.
I knew that name Emilio, he was a fucking cartel boss.
“He wants his shit distributed,” Sal continued.
I watched as a few of the brothers grimaced, while some others had sweat beading on their foreheads. They cast small glances my way.
They were afraid of what would happen if I reported them back to our mother chapter. Reyes was going to fucking lose his shit.
I didn’t want to leave here without Cassie. That woman got under my skin like no other, and I couldn’t leave her here to
die.
“He’s none too happy that we’ve been sitting on it and not selling it,” Sal informs the room.
He wasn’t even trying to hide it anymore. I needed to get Cassie and get the fuck out of here. I couldn’t and wouldn’t leave her behind, not to face what was about to come.
Tomorrow I was going to head out, and she was coming with me. I needed to come up with a way to get her on the back of my bike, and not raise any suspicions from her or anyone else.
Chapter 15
Alanna
Present Day.
I could see the town limits sign up ahead. That meant I was only trapped in this truck with Reyes for a few more minutes. It was also only a few more minutes of inhaling his delicious scent and feeling his heat.
“I’m taking you to the house before I head to the clubhouse,” Reyes deep voice broke the silence.
“Okay,” I replied.
We drove in silence for a few more minutes and then he missed my turn.
“Wait, my house is that way,” I informed him.
He should know where it is, I’ve lived there for years.
"I’m taking you home, baby,” he tells me.
“Yeah, and its back that way,” I replied with a snarl.
“Our home,” he said with a laugh.
“This isn’t up for debate, Reyes. My house is back that way, and I want to go home,” I tell him sharply.
“Our house is this way, and I’m taking you there. I don’t give a fuck what you say,” he tells me darkly.
So much for the peace and silence. Anger bubbled up causing my body to tense. My chest started to ache due to the breath that I was holding in.
I needed to calm the fuck down. This emotional roller coaster ride that Reyes had me on needed to come to a stop. Fuck him! I’ll let him take me to his house, then I will find my own way home.
Exhaling I slowly released the tight grip that I had on the door handle and relaxed one muscle at a time. Let Reyes think he won, and then shock his ass when he comes back to find you are missing yet again.
It’s not like I was leaving town again I would just go home to my house where I belonged.
“Listen, I know this is hard for you, but I need you safe, and the safest place for you right now is with me,” he tells me calmly.
I wanted to snort and give him the finger. Instead, I gave him a megawatt smile and pretended to agree with whatever bullshit he decided to spew.
A small ache formed in my chest as the words sank in. He wanted me safe, and that touched something deep inside of me. What would it feel like to have someone really care? To take care of me? I’ve never had that.
He will only hurt you, Alanna, my mind whispered.
It was right, he would only hurt me. He already had in so many ways. Turning back to the passenger window, I watched the house and trees pass by in a blur as we sped down the road.
I hated this need to feel protected. The need to be wrapped up in Reyes’ arms and pulled close, promising all kinds of nonsense that I knew would be lies.
Before another word was spoken between us, we were pulling up the short driveway that leading to his and Bianca’s house.
I wanted to cry at the familiar sight. Another emotional pregnancy moment that I was loathed. If the rest of the pregnancy continued to be this emotional, how am I supposed to stay hydrated?
Bianca rushed from the house as we came to a stop. The passenger door separating myself from her was pulled open, and her arms were wrapped around me.
“Oh god, I’m so sorry,” she shouted near my ear.
Wincing, I patted her on the back trying to calm her down. All the while fighting back the tears of my own.
“It’s okay,” I tell her gently.
“What are you having? Is it a girl like I promised it would be?” she asked in excitement, it was like all her tears dried up.
Laughing, I wiped my eyes and shook my head. I loved my best friend.
“No, it’s a boy like I told you it was,” I tell her laughing at the pout on her face.
Reyes appeared behind Bianca and gently moved her aside before reaching in to unbuckle me with his fingers. He grazed my stomach which caused a little nervous flip and a small pitter patter of little feet.
“I can do that,” I tell him quietly.
I wanted to push his hand aside, but instead, I let him care for me. I could enjoy this for a moment, longer couldn’t I?
Chapter 16
Alanna
Present Day.
I waited until nightfall before I snuck out to my truck. Reyes was still out, and a small part of me wanted to wait for him to come home before leaving.
It was so dark out here that I waited for the motion sensor light to kick on, but it didn’t, and a small red flag started waving inside my head.
Turning, I quickened my pace as I headed back towards the house. My feet hit the pavement hard as I heard movement behind me.
A light scream bubbled up my throat only to be silenced by a large calloused hand. It clamped over my lips and nose stealing my fresh intake of oxygen.
The stench of grease, leather, body odor and cigarettes surrounded me. It made me gag hard. I felt the bile rise up my stomach and churn. I was fighting the need to spew all over the place.
“Got her,” a cold voice announced.
“Perfect, let’s get the fuck out of here before Reyes gets home,” another cold voice said.
Fear sunk in deep as I was pulled backward. My boots protected my feet as they dragged along the pavement. The cold night air did nothing to cool my suddenly heated flesh.
“This will make him think long and hard,” the one holding me said.
I had no clue what was going on, but I needed Reyes more then I needed anything at that moment.
Icy fear couldn’t hold back the vomit rising in my throat causing me to gag yet again.
“Puke on me bitch and I’ll slit your fucking throat. I don’t care whose old lady you are,” the man holding me growled into my ear.
Gulping I tried hard to fight it back. I was under no misconception that this man wouldn’t do exactly what he promised.
As soon as we reached our destination, I was lifted and set firmly in the back of what looked like a van. The interior was black and blended well with the dark of the night. It made seeing my surroundings even harder.
“Careful with the merchandise,” the other man snapped at the nasty man that had been holding me.
Merchandise? Oh god, that didn’t sound good. All kinds of scenarios tried to take control of my mind, but I wrestled them back. I had to remind myself that I needed to keep my wits if I was going to get out of this alive.
“Sal will shoot your dick off,” the man once again snapped at my nasty captor.
I’ve heard that name before. I racked my brain to try to remember where and when I heard it.
“Fucking go, man, before Reyes get here and kills us,” the one who had been holding me tells the other man with a slightly desperate tone.
They were afraid of Reyes. I wanted to smile, they should be. He was going to dismember them for this. But then again, he might think I just ran off again. Cursing my stupidity again, I closed my eyes. I fought back the tears that wanted to escape. These bastards won’t see my weakness, I promised myself.
The sound of a motorcycle could be heard in the distance just as we pulled away, and my heart sunk. Reyes was too late.
Chapter 17
Gunner
Present Day.
I looked across the room at Cassie as she put beer into the cooler under the bar. Slowly, I made my way towards her just as I reached the bar. She looked up and gave me a sweet smile.
How the fuck was this girl so sweet, I just couldn’t comprehend it. Her father was a fucking crazy asshole and Cassie was the epitome of sweet and caring.
“Hey, can I get you a beer?” her voice was low and full of kindness.
“No, sweetheart,” I told her with a small smile.
“O
h, okay,” she gave me a big smile and continued to stock the beers.
“I need you to come for a ride with me,” I tell her.
She looked up at me, and her eyes were wide and full of curiosity.
“Really?” she asked in shock.
“Yeah, sweetheart, can’t tell you where, club business,” I tell her with a casual shrug.
“Oh,” she replied and slowly closed the fridge.
“I need to grab my purse. I’ll meet you out front in five,” Cassie said.
I give her a small nod, my heart pounded loudly in my chest. I was about to have the hottest woman I’ve ever seen on the back of my bike.
Stalking out the door, I took long strides to my bike. The shit was about to get fucking crazy. Taking a deep breath, I threw a leg over my motorcycle and straddle it.
How long has it been? Was she asking questions? No, that wasn’t like Cassie. She wouldn’t go ask if she could come, she would just do it.
That was something that I loved about her. Normally it grated me wrong, she was just too trusting.
She’s going to hate your fucking guts when this is all over, my mind whispered.
I would rather her hate me than the alternative. That being a world where she could possibly be dead.
I then heard the sound of the door opening and closing followed by the quiet slap of sneakers on the pavement. Letting me know that Cassie had arrived.
“I love riding,” she tells me quietly.
Shooting her a smile, I held out my hand and helped her climb on the back of my bike. It felt fucking right to have her heat at my back.
“Ready, sweetheart?” I asked her.
“Yes!” she whispered excitedly in my ear.
Starting my bike, I pulled out of the lot and headed in the direction of home. It was a few hours away and in half that time Cassie was going to want me dead. The thought had my heart twisting. What the fuck is wrong with me?
Chapter 18
Reyes
Present Day.
The lights were off inside the house as I pulled up. I was out longer then I planned. Gunner was on his way home, and I had planned to wait for him, but the more time that passed, the edgier I became. So, here I am checking on Alanna.
