Shadow Falls: A Sensual Werewolf Romance (The Wolves of Shadow Falls)

by Andrews, Mary

Years passed and the child grew into a man ceasing to age in body on his 18th birthday. Despina was fond of the boy and she called him Damien and he became the father of all werewolves. Transforming from wolf to man and then werewolf, through his blood line we were created. Seth and Damien protected their mother for centuries until they were killed during the supernatural battle depicted in the drawings. Since the death of her beloved pet and his son, Despina maintained a symbiotic relationship with wolves, ever so often taking one of his half bred werewolves as a companion. Storm was her most recent companion and the reason she was now in Shadow Falls.

Despite the revelation, I could not shake the sinking feeling that there was something extremely sinister behind her true intentions. I felt like what she projected was a glamour effect; a false presentation of what she wanted us to believe. Aislen felt it too. Despina could not be trusted. I had read about a vampire’s ability to wear a glamour that acted like a veil covering the truth of their intentions. But until now I had thought it only worked on humans. I felt the urge to believe in her and trust her blindly like the rest of the wolves but something deep down inside fought against it. Both Aislen and I fought to stifle the urge to be deceived by her glamour.

  Communion

The visions of the past were firmly planted in my head. There were truths to the visions that she cast into my mind and I was able to discern the difference. It was as if a veil of ignorance had been lifted and I was now aware of who I was and what my existence meant. Soon the wolves raised their heads to salute their master. Despina stood amidst the creatures and commanded that they change to human form. When she spoke, her voice sounded like a harmony of many different voices. It thundered out of her lips and the walls of the mine shook as she spoke. I felt the earth beneath my feet quake and I reached for Aislen. In an instant I felt my body morphing without my control. Her command had struck the core of my racing heart and in moments and I shifted I found myself standing in a circle filled with naked men and women; robust men with erect cocks and sinewy women with huge breasts heaving under their breaths and wet cunts.

The air smelled of sex and we were all under some sort of spell. Despina’s haunting eyes followed me and I felt it coursing over the contours of my naked frame. I felt helpless, unable to control my actions, my body felt like it was not my own and the woman that stood next to me was like a stranger. Her blue orbs glowed and although I felt like this was the first time I was seeing her, I was drawn into her gaze. Despina stood afar to watch as her magic unfolded and we were locked in a mass mating rite. The bronze coat that covered her feet expanded and reached across the mass of her slender frame until she was like a statue. The women started to walk around us, rubbing their breasts against our flesh, dancing seductively and we could sense their heat. The woman that stood next to me seemed lost in a trance and began gyrating; touching herself and dancing to music that only she could hear. Then she joined the other women offering their bodies to us like food and we were eager to receive them like babes among a sea of breasts.

I crashed to the floor landing on my back, unable to feel the thump of my head as it hit the dusty ground below. It seemed like the only muscle in my body that retained any feeling was my enormous erection. I found myself being ridden hard by a red haired woman with breasts that bounced like water filled balloons on her chest. She was loose and her cum ran down my cock soaking the brown tuft of hair that extended from my navel. Suddenly I remembered the woman that stood next to me and the memories of our life and love flooded my mind. I tried to focus on Aislen hoping that she would remember me, hoping that the feelings we shared would return. I wondered if she was being defiled sweetly by another male with penis larger than mine, making her squirm and climax.

When the red head climaxed she quickly dismounted my cock and moved on to another conquest, licking the salty cunt of another brunette woman that lay on the ground fingering herself as a man with steel buns rammed his cock into her throat. I wanted to stand, so that I could search for Aislen, but a powerful force kept me planted to the ground. A curly blonde haired woman mounted my dick, her pussy was tight, gripping my cock and she made me feel like exploding inside her. I could not explode, I wanted Aislen, and I wanted her pussy to be straddling my erection. I tried to look away from the fine faced woman but it was impossible, instead my hands grabbed the sides of her hips and pulled her in. Her upper body fell over me and my face was buried between her enormous tits. She smelled so good, I could taste her. Suddenly she bit me and for a moment the force that held me to the ground relented and I jolted, shoving her off to the side.

I rose to my feet to view a sea of women on their knees being rammed by huge dicks and men groaning on their backs while stunning beauties rode them senseless. Despina stood with her legs apart, her hands cradled the head of Storm as he licked her inner thighs. I looked to my left and Aislen was pinned against a wall by a medium built jock, he couldn’t be much older than 20 years or so. Strands of her long golden hair, soaking wet from the sweat, stuck on her brow. Her eyes were closed and mouth was open; she groaned as her body slid up and down the wall behind her. Aislen wrapped her small arms round the bulky shoulders of her rider. I swiftly ran to her, weaving through the sea of sex.

As I approached the two, I found myself strangely drawn to the curve of the man’s ass. His tight buns glistened with sweat as they contracted upwards sending his dick deeper and deeper into Aislen so that she climbed the wall behind her. I stood behind the man close enough that the head of my penis brushed against his back and astonishingly I was aroused even more. I reached for his shoulders, gently pulling him away so that he vacated Aislen’s snatch, as his dick slipped out it was covered in her white creamy cum. She had enjoyed him and I wondered if she now preferred him over me. I pinned myself against her, capturing her lips in my mouth, sucking her thick tongue. She opened her eyes and her blue orbs stared into my soul and we were connected again.

The memories that came to me earlier had visited her and she had a look of confusion and regret in her eyes as they welled up with tears. She searched her mind for an explanation of some kind, she wondered if I would forgive her for what just happened. I kissed her again, reassuring her, letting her know that there was no need for an explanation and she understood. For a moment we spoke the way wolves did, in our minds, we read each other’s eyes and we knew each other again. My erection pulsed and I penetrated her gates again. She stuck her nails into the back of my shoulders. Her sweat was salty and sticky. I bit into her neck and she moaned. I held her there, suspended on the wall, ramming her until I erupted.

For three days we remained trapped in the mine, overcome with the incredible urge to mate. It consumed us until we were sore. Despina looked over us, smiling as though she was pleased with us. When her spirit was comforted, she lifted the spell and we were released. The experience confused us all and we had many questions. We changed back to the wolf to regain our strength and then she spoke to us again. I had not even realized how easily I shifted, I shifted because I wanted to, not because of the weather or pleasure, I just told myself to shift and it happened. Despina had removed all barriers to our transformation and we felt a deep sense of gratitude and loyalty towards the vampire queen. As she transmitted images to the wolves revealing the reasons for giving us such freedom, they understood her, respected her and loved her. All they wanted to do was protect her clinging to her every word. Still Aislen and I felt like we were being deceived we remained cautious. Despina told us that we were now a pack, brothers and sisters and that we must be each other’s keeper.

We were all linked in mind, body and spirit. If one of us were hurting, all of us would feel the pain. If one of us died, it would be as though a piece of ourselves died and we would be weakened. Despina sealed the bond by biting into her wrists and filling a golden chalice with her blood then she commanded us to drink of her so that we would be eternally linked. I looked at Aislen cautioning her not to swallow and we both feigned to commune l
ike the others.

  Guardians

In the weeks that followed our communion with Despina, Aislen and the other she wolves became pregnant. I was about to become a father and Aislen never looked more beautiful than now. It seemed like the light of the crystal that filled her in the cave lingered and she glowed like an ember. In her womb were two fast growing pups that felt so connected to. It was not long before the pregnancy began to take a toll on her body and Aislen like the other females had become weak in her human form, unable to carry the baby to term without morphing to wolf. We were forced to keep them nestled under the protective arm of Despina in the mine. For the moment I had no choice but to trust that she would be safer with the other wolves. I could not shake the feeling that we were a part of something greater, something that none of us could truly comprehend. We were drawn to the mine for more than some mating ritual but it was impossible to know truth. In the images that Despina transmitted there was a stairway that led to an old wine cellar and in it there was a silver casket bound by heavy iron chains. Perhaps whatever lay inside the casket held the key to all that was happening to us now; it may be the reason that she appeared to us after all these years.

The women were anxious and the babies made them crave for things they would not normally eat. Their increasing appetites kept the males busy hunting for food and dragging the dead carcasses back to the mine for them to consume. We tried everything, deer, rabbit, birds, snakes and even rats, but they rejected them all. I was growing weary, Aislen had lost weight, the skin around her ribcage sunk between the spaces and I knew she was starving. My heart ached because there was nothing more we could do. One night as I tossed and turned, sweating profusely from my head, Despina appeared to me. In the vision she cradled a human child, giving it her breasts to suckle, but as the child nursed, tears formed from blood rolled down her cheeks unto the babe until the child was immersed in it. Although the she appeared to be crying, in her cold heart, there was no sorrow. She stood before a den filled with starving wolves. The wolves were emaciated, their faces hung low and their skin sagged making them haggard. They were all pregnant and the babies moved restlessly within them till the impressions could be seen stretching the thin skin covering their abdomens.

Despina looked up at me and spoke.

“Fear not” she said preparing me for what would come next.

Her voice was deep and solemn, but I found no comfort in it.

“His sacrifice will be rewarded” she continued before casting the infant into a den of hungry wolves.

I watched in horror as the beasts tore the child limb from limb and devouring every piece of flesh. I sprung to my feet, as though someone had dowsed me with a bucket of ice water, determined to confront Despina with what I had seen. I ran down to the mine, hustling like a busy squirrel up a tree, only to be confronted with the horrific confirmation of my dream. Despina surrounded by the women as they consumed new born babes stolen from the nursery at Shadow Falls hospital. I wept, sickened by the sight and was afraid to look into the eyes of Aislen, afraid to see what a monster she had become, but as I looked away I saw her, shivering in a corner, refusing to partake in the gruesome feast. She had the same dream as I did and she kept herself from joining her sisters. I knew now that we had to get out of there; I had to take her far away from the madness.

Despina could not be trusted, she was insane, she wanted to bring back the dark ages where she pillaged, slaughtered and fucked freely to unleash terror in Shadow Falls. But Aislen and I were not going to be a part of it, not if I had had my way. I knew nothing of killing a vampire let alone the very first ever created. The one thing I did know is that whatever was bound in the casket that I had seen in the images Despina transmitted to me was the key to defeating her. Aislen looked up at me, and I could see in her eyes that time was running out.

  Panic

The disappearance of forty new born babies from Shadow Falls Hospital nursery did not go unnoticed. Not all the wolves responsible were careful enough to commit such a heinous crime and not get caught. One was clumsy and reckless, leaving unmistakable muddy tracks behind. Perhaps he was the lookout or maybe he could not control his metamorphosis. But they all drank Despina’s blood so that was impossible. They probably weren’t even thinking straight. It would be impossible for eight animals to walk into a hospital and kidnap a bunch of babies, surely someone would have seen this and sound an alarm. Perhaps they had help or they were smart enough to enter as humans.

The headlines were buzzing with the mystery of the stolen babies. My heart sank as I watched the victims plead for the safe return of their infants. It sank because I knew there was no hope for them, that their cries were all in vein. Aislen still would not eat, she refused to devour the children like her sisters and her defiance came at a terrible cost. She was pale and on the brink of death. I had to save her. But how could I with her all seeing eyes on me. We all were linked and I was afraid that she could hear my thoughts and knew the true desire of my heart. I kept my thoughts hidden behind walls that I built up in my mind, retreating to the sanctuary of daylight to release them.

While Despina slept she was oblivious to us, our thoughts were ours and I soon discovered that the less of her that I drank the weaker her bond. So when she commissioned her nightly ritual, piercing her wrists and engaging us in communion, I pretended to drink. Aislen was too weak to even let out her tongue to taste a drop. If I did not rescue her now, she would be dead within a few days.

The morning had just broken and the forensic reports confirmed that the paw prints left behind at the hospital were that of a wolf. There was no explanation as to why wolves would steal human babies, it simply did not make sense and the police and forensic scientists were baffled. Widespread panic ensued and the massacre of 1990 resurfaced sending the people into a frenzy. The victims of the theft sought justice creating an opportunity for the Mayor to exploit the vacuum left in wake of their fears. The town was outraged and in their fury they sought vengeance by entering the forests with guns and knives, hunting us, seeking to eradicate us completely. And they were justified because so many parent lost their new born babies to us.

In a few months we had gone from being completely unnoticed, living in harmony with the woodland creatures, to being hunted to the brink of extinction. But as they entered one by one they were slaughtered by a blood thirsty Despina who reveled in taunting and playing with her prey before she cruelly ripped their throats out and drank them dry. For a moment in seemed that this had been her plan all along, to lure them into the woods so that she can have her fun feasting on their life source one by one. She must have known that stealing so many children would have sparked panic, forcing the humans to foolishly venture into the woods to meet their doom. But I still wondered if that was all to her plan. Were we just pawns in a game that she was playing? The more I refrained from drinking her blood, the less I saw her as a protector or as someone to be protected. We were mere slaves to her, fooled into thinking that she was our refuge. Her true face was becoming clearer and she was ugly. Her heart was dark, so dark and wicked. The lack of her intoxicating blood coursing through my body, furnishing my mind with lies, lifted her glamour and I saw her for what she truly was, a hideous beast. Still I had to remain with the pack at least until I figured out a way to get Aislen out of there.

I was patrolling the edge of the forest; the other wolves were deep in the mine. I could not hear their thoughts and they could not hear mine. As I drank from the cool water of a small stream the distant howl of another wolf reverberated throughout the forest and the familiar smell of my mother awoke me. She had returned from having visited her relatives in Kent. The sound made me so happy, I was overwhelmed with emotions. I wanted to embrace her and fill her in on my ordeal. My mother was a nurse at Shadow Falls hospital and the news of the babies had reached her all the way in Kent. As she called out to me, her howls were filled with sorrow, she questioned me and I replied sending her images. It was enough to make her shudder, stop
ping her in her tracks and soon she and I were on the same mission. She cautioned me to keep her existence a secret from the rest before morphing back to human and severing the connection. I could do nothing but sit and wait for her to return with a plan.

Each day that I waited Aislen grew weaker and weaker slowly fading away, while her sisters flourished and became fatter and fatter. The meal that they made out of the infants seemed to sustain them for a while and now they were pacified by Despina’s blood. It would only be a matter of time before Despina would send the wolves out again to steal more children. I knew Aislen needed blood, she needed it to survive, but she could never kill a child.

  Run

Filled with the blood of half the town, Despina knew she had to move on, so she set out on her own to find a new place beaming with life that she could destroy, leaving her pet Storm to lead us. This was my opportunity to get Aislen out once and for all. Mayor David Raymond was furious and vengeful. He was an opportunist, exploiting the fears of the people of Shadow Falls to spurn his political agenda. He was short and stocky like a modern day napoleon and when he spoke he did so with power and authority.

“We must free this place from the tyranny of the wolves” he said, in one of his statements to the press.

“They are animals for Christ sake and we have let them transform us in to a bunch of scared children” he cried in another.
