But here at the office, the unconventional nature of their relationship would hurt their brand. And she knew it would hurt Dream with Wing’s reputation. It was the one thing that hurt her heart the most. She couldn’t live publicly with the two men she loved the most.

Brooke wondered if Maureen’s comment implied she knew something about her relationship with the CEOs.

“They’re beautiful.” She inhaled the red and white roses, knowing exactly who had sent them. “Any messages?” she asked.

“I’ve sent everything to your inbox,” Maureen reported.

“Thank you.” She closed her laptop.

  “Are you leaving already?”

“I have a meeting with Tyler—I mean with Mr. Star in his office.”

Maureen blushed. “You don’t have to hide it from me, Brooke. I think I know what’s going on.”

Brooke froze. Her stomach did a somersault. “You do?” This could be terrible. She stared in horror.

“I’ve worked here long enough to know those bachelors.” She paused. “And I’ve never seen Tyler Star look at a woman the way he looks at you. He’s in love with you.”

  Brooke gasped. “Maureen!”

“It’s true. And the roses have to be from him.”

Brooke waited for Maureen to mention Lee. She cringed, knowing it was only another breath before her assistant dropped the bomb, but it never happened.

“Please don’t say anything to anyone, Maureen.”

“Of course not. It’s your business. But if I were you, I’d make sure to be careful.”

“Why do you say that?” she asked.

“He seems like the kind of man who is intense. I’d hate for him to break your heart or for it to interfere with your job. I like what you’ve done here. I don’t want you to leave.”

“Aw, Maureen, that’s really sweet. But I promise you I’m not going anywhere.”

The woman continued to fiddle with the flowers. “I hope that’s true.”

Brooke looked at the clock. “Oh shit. I better go. We’ll talk about this later?”

The assistant nodded, and Brooke dashed out of the office and straight for Tyler’s suite.

She flung the door open, harder than she intended. Tyler was behind the desk and Lee was standing with a bottle of champagne.

“Well, that’s quite an entrance. Not too far off from when we first met.” Tyler smirked.

“Sorry, I just had a strange conversation with Maureen.”

Lee walked toward her, handing her a glass of champagne. He looked the door behind her and guided her to the couch.

“Tell us what it was about.”

The champagne was cold and sweet. Expensive and exotic.

“She’s suspicious of my relationship with Tyler.” She looked between the men.

“But not me? I’m hurt,” Lee mocked.

“Lee, this is serious. She was poking around asking questions about the flowers, and warning me about a broken heart.”

She gulped more of the champagne.

“And what did you say?” Tyler asked.

“I just ran out of there without saying much. I didn’t deny it. Was that wrong? Should I go talk to her?”

“More champagne?” Lee held the bottle toward her.

She lifted the glass in the air toward him and that’s when she realized what was at the bottom of the glass.

“Holy shit.” She covered her mouth.

  The men laughed.

Brooke slid her finger inside the glass and retrieved two diamond rings.

  “What? What is this?”

They knelt in front of her. Tyler retrieved the square cut diamond, and Lee reached for the large round stone. They had to be at least two carats each.

Brooke was stunned. Blown away. She couldn’t speak.

“We decided that we aren’t letting you go, Brooke. And while one of us is going to have to play it low-key in public, we want to marry you.”

She felt her eyes sting with tears. “You do?”

Lee slid his ring on her right hand. “Will you pledge your life to me?”

  She nodded. “Yes. Yes.”

“Will you marry me?” Tyler worked the ring over her left knuckle.

“Yes. I can’t believe this is happening.”

  “It is, baby.”

She fell into their arms. The diamonds sparkled on her hands.

After everything she had been through, she was finally going to have forever.

  Epilogue

  Four months later

Brooke stretched her arms overhead, reveling in the softness of the bed. She realized the bed was empty. She sat forward, letting the sheet fall from her bare chest. She looked at her breasts. They were huge. Rounder and fuller than they’d ever been.

She strained her ears to listen for Tyler or Lee, but the master suite was quiet.

She sank into the pillows letting her hands fall to her belly. It was round. She caressed the gentle slope, whispering.

“Your daddies are here somewhere.” She grinned. “I bet they went to get us breakfast.” She was suddenly starving.

It seemed to be how she started the day. Now that the morning sickness had eased up, Brooke loved waking up and feeling how different her body was. It brimmed with life. She had never felt more sensual or alive.

She could hear the birds chirping. Life at the cabin was so calm and peaceful. It was exactly what she needed.

The door creaked open. She smiled when she saw Tyler.

  “Good morning.” He grinned.

  “Good morning.”

“How are you feeling?” He walked in carrying a tray of fruit and tea.

“Now that you’re here, we’re much better.” She giggled.

He placed the tray on the table and sat next to her. He pressed his lips to hers, kissing her until she mewed.

His hand dropped to her breast. “I love how beautiful your body is,” he growled. He held her weighted breast in his palm. Brooke sighed.

He coasted over her nipple, grazing her belly. “And knowing my baby is inside you.” He kissed her again. “You’re so fucking gorgeous.”

She moaned as the kiss deepened. Her body fired with new tingles of sensation. Everything was heightened in this pregnancy. She wondered if it was double the pleasure most women felt.

“Don’t forget the other baby,” she teased.

“That’s right.” Lee walked into the room. “My baby is in there too.” He crawled onto the bed, pinning her under him with a delicious kiss.

  “Mmm,” she moaned.

Tyler moved his hand to the side as Lee fit his along the edge of her belly. The bump was noticeable to the three of them because they knew what was inside. They knew how beautiful the lives were that were growing because of Brooke’s love.

Brooke broke free and glanced down at their hands on her belly. She didn’t know if she had ever loved these two men as much as she did right now.

“I still can’t believe we’re having twins,” she whispered. Tyler’s hand was the first to sink deeper between her legs.

“What did you think would happen?” Lee kissed her neck and lowered to her breast. He plucked her nipple between his teeth.

“And they love the mountains. They want to stay longer than just the weekend,” she whispered.

Her head rolled to the side, moaning as Tyler slipped a finger inside her. They were easier with her. More gentle, even when she begged for them to take things deeper or harder. They had already taken the role of fatherhood seriously. They worshipped her body in new ways.

  “Do they?”

“Mmmhmm,” she answered. “They want to stay here. Have you keep me in bed,” she teased.

Ty growled. “I could consider it, as long as you take lots of naps in between.”

“You’re happy?” she asked, feeling her core tingle with electricity.

“Are you kidding?” Tyler flicked a free hand over her clit. “These babies are going to be amazing. With you as their mo
ther…” He pumped a finger inside her as her back arched off the bed.

Lee’s tongue lapped at her nipple. “So fucking amazing.”

Brooke was lost in the dizzying haze of their lust. The things they could do to her body. Lee rolled on his back, dragging her on top of him. Her eyes locked on his as she scooted down to his waist.

Tyler was behind her, adjusting his cock to her pussy.

“Ohh, Tyler,” she hissed, wishing her would take her like he did the very first time. She missed those primal thrusts of his.

Lee’s sapphire eyes sparkled. “Let me fuck you next, baby.”

  “Together?” she asked.

He shook his head. “No way. One at time. We love watching, too. Don’t forget how beautiful and sexy you are to us.”

She wanted them inside her again. She wanted to feel the fullness of everything they had created. But they were both so worried about her, creating new rules and guidelines that she thought were too restrictive.

“What if I told you we were having boys?” She grinned wickedly.

“What?” Lee almost rolled her to the floor in his surprise. Tyler caught her.

“Did you just say we’re having boys?”

She nodded, trying to hide the excitement she felt.

“I found out yesterday, but I was waiting until all three of us were together to tell you. I thought the cabin was the perfect place to break the news. I’m carrying your sons.”

Lee groaned. “Tyler?” He looked over her shoulder.

“Doesn’t the mother of your sons deserve what she wants?” she teased shamelessly. “Please. Just fuck me a little, Lee. Please. There’s one place you belong. Please fuck me together. I want both of you while I still can for another few months.”

At some point, she knew it wouldn’t be possible, but Brooke was five months pregnant. She could do this a few more weeks if they would just ease up on their protectiveness. The guys thought it was crazy she knew when she got pregnant, but she didn’t have any doubts. It was as if she could see the moment they gave her their babies. The day she walked into Tyler’s study during the basketball game. She could see it so clearly. One fucked her and then the other, filling her with enough essence to give her two perfect healthy beautiful boys.

“Shit,” Lee murmured. “How can I say no to you? I’m never easy on your ass, baby.”

She smiled. “I want it. You can be easy. I trust you.” She felt her stomach do somersaults. She loved this more than anything. Sex with both of them at once. Even if it was slower and gentler than before. Somehow it made it more intimate.

Tyler kissed her back. She knew they were going to give in. She was giddy, and thrilled. Controlled by hormones and lust. They switched places and Brooke happily climbed on Tyler, sliding his shaft deep inside her.

“Oh yes,” she moaned. It was home. Exactly where it was meant to be. She rode him with long sensual thrusts, rotating through her hips, squeezing his cock, feeling every thick inch of him.

Tyler’s eyes rolled back in his head. “Fucking nirvana.”

Lee pressed against her ass, rubbing it gently as his cock began to penetrate it. She didn’t need all the toys anymore or the special preparation. He had taken it, trained it, made it his.

“Oh, Lee,” she squealed as he pushed into her with a gentleness she’d never experienced with him.

Her eyes flew open to meet Tyler’s.

“We’re taking care of you and them.” He trailed his fingers over her swollen belly, as if that explained this style of lovemaking. The tenderness of knowing how to treat her body like a queen.

It felt so good taking it slow. It was satisfying in a new way. They eased in and out of her, rocking her orgasm to the surface before she could catch it and reign it in.

“Oh, God,” she called to the ceiling, as they both pushed inside her together. “I love you,” she whimpered. “I love you so much.”

The three of them came together in a last burst of thunder and lightning, searing the love and ecstasy into their skin.

Lee pulled out of her and laid down next to Tyler, making room for her to snuggle between them. Brooke was on her side, trying to catch her breath.

“I take it you’re happy about the news?” she giggled. “Two more boys in the house.”

Tyler laughed. “I don’t know how you kept that secret all night.”

She looked at Lee. “You were working late last night. It didn’t seem fair to tell only one of you. But I’ve been dying to tell you they are both boys. I found out three weeks earlier than I thought I would.”

He kissed her. “A son? Two sons? This is incredible.”

“And since you’re both in such a giving mood, can we stay all week? I don’t want to drive back to the city on Sunday. We need to stay. We need this time together.”

Lee exhaled. “The firewood pile does look a little low.”

She giggled. “I think it looks extremely low.”

Tyler twisted his mouth. “I haven’t checked the inventory for next year’s blizzard provisions. If we’re here with the kids, we probably need additional stock.”

“And I’d like to get started on decorating their nursery.”

“We’ll stay two weeks then,” Lee stated.

  “Really?” she squealed.

Tyler eyed his friend. “I don’t know if I can do all of that, but I’ll add a week to my schedule if it makes our wife happy.”

“Oh it makes her very happy.” Brooke smiled. “I love this place. Almost as much as I love you two.”

She felt the love and warmth wrap around her. Tyler’s hand rested on her stomach. Their babies were safe and protected. No, it wasn’t conventional. No, it wasn’t what she had planned in her life.

But falling in love with these men was meant to be. This was her happily ever after. Now she knew the real meaning of family. The meaning of truth and safety. It was all here in this bed. Their arms wrapped around her as Brooke drifted to sleep.

  Bruin

The taste of salt in the South Floridian air mixed with the taste of top-shelf whisky on my tongue as I leaned back against the bar, surveying the scene. No matter how often I visited or how long I stayed, the smell of the sea and the sound of the waters lapping up against the wooden boardwalk under my feet never got old, whether the sun was glaring down and browning my skin or the moon was lighting up a shining path across the waters, like it was tonight.

It was a dockside bar, one I’d been to more than a few times on my business trips to Ft. Lauderdale. If I were local, I’d be a regular, and the bartender knew me as well as she could know anyone without knowing their name. I preferred it that way. It was important to have places like this bar—places where a man could slip out of the high-stakes world of business and lose himself in a world of rum, whisky, music, and women. Most men either let the stress of this life eat them alive, or they got lost in all the pleasures it brought them.

  Not me. I was stronger.

“Another, sir?” I heard to my right from behind the bar.

The bartender had appeared the moment I set my empty glass down, and I saw she already had another Old Fashioned ready for me, the cherry and orange looking like they’d fallen straight out of the grove. She’d been waiting on me hand and foot since I walked in, because she knew that I treated my servers right.

&nbs
p; She’d also had her eyes on me for another reason, but I didn’t like to mix that kind of pleasure with business.

I gave her the slightest nod and a crack of a smile, and she returned one twice as wide as she walked away, her hips swaying just enough to make me think about her a little longer.

To her credit, she was subtle. More subtle than most of the women here. She waited until she thought I wasn’t looking to let her eyes drift to my thick calves that my tight-fitting shorts exposed. When I had my back to her, I could feel her eyes on my ass, traveling up to the rippling muscles of my back that were just barely hidden by my white button-down. It was unbuttoned to the bottom of my pecs, and its sleeves were rolled up to my elbows.

Every part of me that I showed off was measured.

I didn’t need to tell anyone how much time I spent in the gym, working my body to perfection. When I did something as simple as picking up the new drink and giving her a subtle nod, I did so with total control over my body, every move of my thick muscles measured. It had an effect on people.

I wasn’t so vain that I’d ask, but I thought that it had something to do with my gaze. Nobody had to tell me that I had a natural, commanding air about me. I knew it by everyone’s demeanor.

And in a bar like this, people showed it in ways that were as subtle as a fireworks display.

A table at the far end of the bar had about five young women at it, and the moment my gaze went to them, all but one of them looked away, hiding smiles and chatting to each other as if they hadn’t been sizing me up a moment ago. They wore designer swimwear, a couple of them wearing bikinis from brands that I knew to be more valuable than some of the top-shelf liquor here. Perfect hair, perfect makeup, designer shoes, and a couple of them in short shorts that hugged impeccably toned asses.

But they were young—probably freshmen college students at Nova out on their first night, still riding that first high of having their way with their daddies’ credit cards away from their hometowns. I was impressed that one of them was still looking at me, making eye contact. She had dark skin and short hair, and her dark eyes told me she knew exactly what she wanted out of life.
