Slipping on my t-shirt and only the bottoms to my swimsuit, I grabbed a couple of towels from the bathroom and slipped on my sandals. Ash was already down in the kitchen packing a small cooler with only a couple of beers inside. Heading out the door, we began walking down the narrow path that would take us to the small pond. While I wished that I had chosen a different pair of shoes, Ash could tell I was having problems walking on the uneven ground. Stopping in his tracks, he turned his back towards me and said,”Hop on,”
Taking a good leap, I jumped up onto his back and hugged his bear-style. The heat of the sun was heating our bodies and the thought of cooling off in the pond was sounding better and better. When we reached the pond, there wasn’t a soul in sight. Taking the initiative, I stripped off my clothes first, very slowly, giving Ash a provocative strip show. Before I could get to the water, Ash had me up and in his arms with his lips pressed to mine. Everything about this moment was perfect. If I hadn’t suggested it, I would have thought that Ash had planned this last-minute rendezvous himself. Placing me back on my feet, he broke our kiss and placed his hand on my cheek. There was something different about the way he looked at me.
Concerned that something might be wrong. I put my hand over his and asked, “What is it, Ash? What’s wrong?”
Taking both of my hands in his, he lowered his head for a brief moment as if he was thinking about what to say. When he lifted his head, I knew then what this was about. I knew it was over and this was his way of breaking up with me. My heart began to beat faster and my breath began to hitch. It wasn’t what I thought at all as he lowered to his knee. His voice was soft as he said, “Juliette…”
Before he could usher another word, I shouted excitedly, “Wait… not another word, Ash. You are not going to do what I think you are going to do with me standing here naked.”
Grabbing my clothes, I hurried and put them on, even knowing that my t-shirt was inside-out. Standing before him, I took both his hands and said, “Okay, go ahead.”
Ask began to chuckle at me, causing him to have a difficult time saying what needed to be said. With an annoyed look, I scolded him, “Ash, this is not funny.”
Switching his position to his other knee, he once again looked up to me. This time I didn’t stop him. “Juliette, I know that we haven’t known each other for very long, but I have never loved a woman as much as I love you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to share everything with you. Will you stay with me forever as my wife?”
I thought I would stop breathing when he said those words, Falling to his level, I placed my hand on his cheek and said the only thing I could, “Hell, yeah,” before placing my lips to his.
It was like nothing else mattered as our lips found each other’s. This was my true destiny and no one was ever going to take it away from me again. I couldn’t image spending my life without him. He had shown me that there really is love in the world and two people could actually find each other to share it with. Everyone deserved to be loved, including me.

Some would call me a little naughty but I see myself as a writer of spicy thoughts. Being an erotic romance writer is something that I never imagined I would be doing.
