Violet (Club Nymph Book 1)

“I said have you decided, which girl is the best?” he repeated but he looked relieved and I smirked inwardly.
“Yeah the third girl with blue camisole.”
“Great. Abramov, I want that girl.” Will said to Abramov.
“Olga!” Abramov yelled over his shoulder.
“You’re working with Will from now on. Don’t disappoint either of us.” Abramov said coldly to Olga and she left with a nod.
“Are we done here?” I said to Will. The club was giving me a headache. I massaged my temples slowly to erase the throbbing.
“Yeah, we can go now,” he said and after a handshake with Abramov, we left the club.
I felt the dizziness start when we stepped outside. I pulled my phone out from my purse and noticed a dozen missed calls from Xander.
I wanted to call him back but the ground slipped under my feet.
“Violet? Are you okay?” Will asked and grabbed my arm to support me.
“Yeah…Just…I’m feeling dizzy. The club, dark-”
Before the darkness took control of my body, the last thing I saw was Will’s devilish smirk.

I hated waiting…
Time was ticking and I wasn’t happy that I couldn’t have what I wanted, yet. But I would…I had to.
The beast inside me was ready to cause damage, to corrupt everything I’d built for myself.
The thirst I felt was getting stronger each day—thirst for blood, desire for cries, lust for screams…
Yet, she was haunting me everywhere, smiling, laughing, dancing, daring me—still shining bright. My hands itched to take away her light.
I was done waiting.
No more waiting.
Time to have what I wanted.
ALEX
I massaged my neck after sitting in the same position in my desk. As I look at Angel’s photos in hope to find something, I noticed every photo had some letters in it.
I, L, H, S, F, N, R, A, I
I couldn’t put them into any meaning but I kept scribing letters that caught my attention.
R, A, M, D, C, E, I, O, H, N
I was always so bad at these kinds of riddles. When I couldn’t make sense out of the letters I walked to Xander’s study and hoped he could figure something out.
“You need to check these letters. Take a look if they fucking mean anythi-” I stopped middle of the sentence when I heard Xander’s outburst.
“Fuck! Answer your phone, Flame. Damn it!”
“What the hell? What happened?” I asked and noticed the investigator was in the room as well. He looked nervous.
My eyes darted from Xander to Fabien. I wanted someone to answer my question.
“Fuck!” Xander hit his fist to the desk.
“We need to go to the club. Now, Alex. Now!” Xander shouted at me and stormed out from the room.
“Dawn is in danger in that club. We need to get her out.” Xander told me while walking in hurry. He and Fabien were getting in the car.
“I’m following you with the bike. If there is traffic that will be faster,” I called after him.
It turned out the way I assumed. Traffic was crowded as hell and flowing slowly for a car but didn’t affect my bike.
I barged into the club even though the bodyguard tried to stop me. I roamed my gaze around the bar, but there was no sign of Dawn. Panting in panic, I spotted the bartender behind the bar and headed toward him.
“Hey, dude. I’m Alex, remember? Where is Violet? Did you see her today?” I asked urgently.
“Oh, hey man. Violet came here today but left with Will,” he said, looking as disgusted as me with the idea of her leaving with that douchebag.
“Fuck,” I mumbled.
“Thanks, man. If she comes back, tell her to call me, okay? As soon as possible,” I called out over my shoulder while leaving the club.
Xander and Fabien were nowhere to be seen, I called my brother.
“Tell me you got her.” Xander answered the phone at the first ring.
“No. She isn’t here. She left with fucking Will,” I shouted.
I was angry. No, I was freaking out. Dawn had been looking for her sister for almost two years and if she disappeared just like her sister did…
I wasn’t able to breathe.
“Alex…we need to find her.” Xander whispered.
I knew what he was feeling. I knew he learned something bad about the club and he must be feeling worse than me.
“We will. We have to,” I whispered back.
“I made someone track her phone. Wait, he must be calling. I’ll call you back,” he said and ended the call.
Ten horrible minutes later Xander sent me an address and I broke at least five traffic rules as I was took off to the road.
“If you’re there man, please don’t let anything happen to her,” I sent a prayer while riding faster than ever.
DAWN aka VIOLET
I was confused. I didn’t know where I was for a few seconds. Then, everything slowly came back to me but the heavy feeling in my head didn’t dissipate. I tried to move my hands unsuccessfully and all I could feel was numbness.
I tried to hear something, listening to everything around me carefully. I focused on my senses rather than my body. I couldn’t move a muscle, anyway.
We were moving; the car was bumping on the road and I smelled the leather of a car seat.
I was still in Will’s car.
Fucking Will!
And my fucking stupidity!
I forced myself to open my eyes, even though I wasn’t sure whether it would work. When my eyes opened I felt relief wash over me. There wasn’t anything to see, though. All I could see was trees with snow on them. You wouldn’t see snow on the trees in the city. I assumed we were driving up. We must have been on a mountain road.
I heard a ring tone and tried to continue breathing normally. I wasn’t sure if he could hear me but letting him know I was awake wasn’t the risk I was willing to take.
“What?” Will snapped to the line.
“Yes, we’re on the road,” he said.
“Yes, I’m getting her to you, you sick bastard,” he snapped at the phone and threw it on the passenger seat.
Who was he taking me to? Mike?
My body was like a ragdoll, bumping at every movement of the car. My muscles were useless and my mind was consumed by the numbness.
֎
As soon as the car stopped, I closed my eyes again. Will got out of the car and opened my door. I couldn’t feel his hands on me –thankfully- but I felt myself lifted. He carried me God-knows-where.
I risked opening my eyes slowly because I couldn’t stand the darkness anymore. Immediately, I saw what looked like an abandoned house with a nondescript dull grey exterior. It looked dark but maybe it was my fear that caused me to see it that way.
I heard someone else getting closer to us.
“Is she sleeping?”
Mike’s voice came from behind me. He was excited like a child on Christmas but the difference was he had some dark joy behind his excitement.
“She is drugged.” Will answered him.
“Oh, brother…you cannot get away from drugs, can you?” Mike said. He was enjoying himself for sure.
Brother? What the hell?!
“Do not remind me we’re brothers, okay? My prick of a father couldn’t keep his dick in his pants and I’m dealing with his bastard. That’s all between us.” Will snapped at him.
“I’m warning you, brother. Be careful what you say.” Mike said with chilly tone. His voice was an evil’s voice, I’d shake with terror if I could control my muscles.
“I need to get her inside. She’ll wake up soon.” Will said. His voice was more compromising. Was he afraid of Mike?
Will started to walk again. I knew we were inside when I heard a door opene and close.
He put me somewhere and I fought the urge to open my eyes. There was burning smell in the room. I tried to
focus on what was around me.
But I forgot how to breathe when I heard another familiar voice.
“No,” she said. Her voice was broken and raspy but it was her…
Angel.
XANDER
I saw Alex’s bike pass us on the way.
“Drive faster, Stephen. Fuck all the rules,” I yelled at my driver. He knew the urgency of the situation without me telling him and he did what I said without a question.
“Mr. Vincent has a problem with his bike.” Stephen told me from the driver’s seat and I noticed Alex near the road while kicking his bike.
“Take him and hurry,” I commanded Stephen and Alex got in the car as soon as we stopped near him.
“Tell me what’s happening, brother.” Alex told me from passenger seat.
“Will, the fucking owner of the club, is a former drug dealer but he is still doing that job. He is into every illegal shit,” I started to give him a summary. Even this information about Will was enough for me to not want him near Dawn, but that wasn’t all. That was the least of my concern.
“Fucking bastard.” Alex said under his breath.
“There is a bastard but it’s Mike, not Will. Mike and Will are half-brothers. They have the same father but that’s just a little detail. Our real fucking problem is that bastard Mike is a convicted rapist. He is a psychotic asshole. He got out of the jail because the lawyer convinced the judge that Mike was mentally unstable. So he transferred to an asylum. And Will got this asshole out of there,” I stopped and tried to control the rage in me.
“Flame…She was working with these cocksuckers,” I growled and rested my head against my fisted hands.
“How do you know Dawn will be at that address?” Alex asked but I was too angry to continue, I shook my head and Fabien started to explain.
“We tracked Miss Dawn’s phone and it was in this area. When I came to your house I’ve already had all the land register information of William and Michael. This house seems the best option. There is no neighbor around and it’s far enough from the city.” Fabien said.
“What if she’s not there?” Alex asked. His voice was tight and raspy with anger and panic.
“The entire police department is looking for Michael Harrison and William Harrison. Also, they are searching for Miss Dawn. But I believe we’ll find Miss Dawn here.” Fabien said.
The ride through the mountain road was endless.
I was restless. I wanted to punch something.
No, I wanted to kill those bastards that took away my Flame. I didn’t want to just kill them, I planned on torturing them. I was starved for blood. I wanted them to beg for death.
I couldn’t think what they were doing to her right now. The idea of them touching her, hurting her…I saw red, inhaled fury and exhaled violence. I’d never felt that level of anger before.
I always knew how to control my emotions—it was easy since I didn’t feel much. But after Flame…I felt new emotions I didn’t know they were even existed, I wasn’t even able to name them all. And those two fuckers were trying to take her away from me.
“There is a house.” Stephen called out. His voice was sharp enough to silence my inner thoughts.
I was so tense. My hands became fists in front of me while waiting for the car to stop near the house. We all got out of the car as soon as it slowed down enough to open the doors. No one was patient enough to wait any longer.
And I jerked to a stop when I heard her scream and gunshots…
No!
Flame…
DAWN aka VIOLET
“Go to the kitchen and prepare something to eat, slut. I’m starving.” Mike gave orders…to Angel, I assumed.
I heard her tentative steps on the wooden ground.
“I’m amazed you still haven’t gotten bored and killed her.” Will said. His voice was half-amused half-disgusted.
“Did you see those tits? That ass of hers? And that angelic face? It used to be fucking fun to break her every time but I cannot do that anymore, you see. I lost the interest. Her time is up.” Mike said. He was enjoying himself in a sadistic way.
How did I miss the evil in him? It was so clear in his voice. I understood why I always got paranoid around him, why I couldn’t be easily comfortable with his presence. Deep down I knew he was dangerous, sadistic even.
I tried to move my toes when the clouds around my thoughts started to fade. Numbness was leaving my body. I tried my fingers when I could move my toes. My fingers moved on my leg slightly but I didn’t risk trying more.
Will and Mike were still in the room and I didn’t want them to notice I was coming to my senses.
“But…I think I can use her sweet cunt one more time before I drown her in her own blood and switch her with that beauty lying there. Isn’t she supposed to be awake by now? Check her, I’ll fuck my toy one last time.” Mike said and left the room.
I couldn’t control my breaths. I was angry…No, furious. I wanted to kill that bastard.
I felt Will near me and I tentatively opened my eyes. He was looking toward to the door I assumed Mike just left through.
I quickly scanned the room before Will’s attention turned to me. I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw the metal pokers near the fireplace. If I could just reach it with my arm before he turned his face to me…well, it would be good surprise for him.
So be it.
I quickly turned in my place and extended my arm.
“What the-” Will started but it turned into a painful groan when metal hit his neck. He was paralyzed with one move to his carotid artery. I was so glad Gary showed me the pressure points to make someone immobile. He was lying on the floor, passed out.
I stood up and after being still for a long while under the spell of drugs, sudden movements caused me dizziness. I closed my eyes and tried to control my breath.
“The bitch is awake?” Mike came to the room before I could prepare myself to fight. He was shirtless and trying to buckle his belt.
“Angel! Run!” I yelled to the top of my lungs, I hoped she heard me. I couldn’t run fast enough to pass Mike. He knocked me to the ground. My balance didn’t come back to me enough to be strong.
“Look, who is awake?” Mike smiled devilishly while kneeling between my knees. He secured them on his both sides.
“Let me go,” I said and writhed while trying to get rid of his hands.
“Let you go? No. We’ll be together for a long time, my wild girl.” Mike cooed lovingly. I wanted to puke while his hands moved from my legs to my stomach and to my breasts.
I let him believe I was helpless against him. I waited for him to take places where I wanted him to be. While he was roughly caressing my body I used all my will power to not kick him on the balls.
Finally, he put his hands on the floor to my both sides and I pushed him on his shoulders. It was the junction between his shoulder and arm. He couldn’t get any closer to me. I felt his confusion by my strength and I used it on my advantage. Sliding my hip to the right, I put my left foot to his hipbone and repeated the move with my right foot.
He forced himself on me with anger. He didn’t like that I had the upper hand. I slid my hands to his elbows, which made him lose his balance. I bought my two feet to his groin and kicked with my full force. I didn’t stop there and kicked him in the jaw. He fell backward but I got distracted with a scream and Will was onto me again.
His moves weren’t as effective as they used to be because of his pain. He was trying to harm me with random strokes but all of his efforts missed me and I stood up.
I was about to get rid of him but he grabbed my ankle and pulled me back to the floor again. I couldn’t help but scream with sudden pain. I fell on the metal poker I used on Will, the pain radiated from my ribs.
Mike put all his weight on me as soon as I lay there. When I felt his breath on my neck I screamed again and my scream mixed with deafening gunshot.
I froze with him on me when I heard the gun. My ears were throbbing
and ringing with the loud voice. I turned to my senses with the painful groan from Mike. He slumped down on me and I pushed him with all my strength.
The moment I could lift myself to my feet the door burst open.
“Dawn!” I heard Alex’s voice but I couldn’t look at him. I couldn’t turn my gaze from the view in front of me.
“Angel?” I breathed out.
“Dawn…” Her voice wasn’t louder than a whisper.
“Angel you’re…”
She laughed at me without humor and finished my sentence for me.
“Yeah…I’m pregnant.”
After the shock eased, I ran toward her. I could hardly notice there were sirens around the house and I didn’t care a bit someone was carrying Mike and Will outside. All I cared for was my sister.
She was breathing.
She was alive.
“Angel? Are you okay? Are you hurt?” I asked and examined her.
She looked so pale. I was afraid she was about to faint at any moment. Before she could answer she had to grab my shoulders for support.
“Somebody help me!” I shouted.
“Dawn…let me get her,” I heard Xander’s voice beside me.
Ahh…Xander. How I missed his voice! I thought I wouldn’t see him even though I’ve spent just a few hours in this shithole.
I felt a shiver run through my body, adrenaline was leaving my system and I was afraid I’d blackout. I let Xander hold Angel. He easily lifted her in his arms and carried her out.
“Dawn…” Alex trailed off and wrapped his arms around my waist. I leaned into him with relief.
“Alex,” I sobbed and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“Ah, Dawn…I was so afraid. I was going nuts that I wouldn’t see you again,” he whispered while caressing my hair and kissed the top of my head.
“Where did Xander take Angel to?”
“Don’t worry she is safe. There are medics outside, okay?” he reassured me.
“Let’s get you checked out.” Alex added and half-carried me to outside.
