Connor looked around with a grin, letting her catch up with him because there was no chasing her, it was only holding each other’s hand and walking as partners.
Oh my, chasing Connor will always be terrific! Harley thought as she grabbed his arm tightly.
“No more chasing!” Connor said as he threw his arm around her shoulder and kissed her hair.
“But chasing is what led me to you, silly. If I hadn’t chased after you, what would have happened?”
“I would have crashed that wedding properly and taken you away. But I’m glad you did some chasing, it’s good for health, you know?”
Harley stopped walking, and Connor looked at her curiously. She gave him a gentle push and said, “Then let’s make you healthy! Chase me, Connor!”
With that, she ran towards the house, Connor chasing after her, after his love . . . his life.
