Shane chuckled. “She’s not my girlfriend.”
“No?”
“Nope! I don’t have girlfriends, Sammy. That’s not my scene.”
“Shane the bachelor, huh?”
“If I can help it.” He laughed. “It’s like why settle for a pizza or Italian food when you can have American, Chinese, Indian, Mexican…you know, the works.”
Samantha’s eyes widened. “Are you serious? You’re comparing women to food?”
He smirked his devilish grin. “Come on, little Sammy. Let me escort you to your home.”
Shane took her hand and wrapped it around his own arm, enjoying the proximity. He knew he was going to get burnt by his irrational behavior, but at that moment in time, he didn’t give a damn about anybody but the girl next to him.

A Few Words From The Author
So many times, we search for answers
So many times, we wonder
Wonder about the meaning of life
The choices we’ve made…
Life flies by us fast
The days are filled with “stuff”
Work, bills, chores, responsibilities
They will never disappear…
Stop, just stop
Take a breath
Close your eyes
And feel, simply feel…
Yes, I may be a dreamer
Maybe a fool
But my heart smiles
And my soul sings…
So don’t be afraid
Dream big
Laugh out loud
And find your meaning…
The meaning of life.
