My One and Only: A Bad Boy Secret Baby Second Chance Romance

“If I remember correctly, the night ended with a walk to your front door and a kiss goodnight,” Nicole poked her cheek with her index finger as if she was in deep thought.
“A kiss on the cheek.”
“My last job interview had no kissing on any part of my body.”
The two laughed in unison, their bodies leaning in towards each other until their shoulders bumped. Draping her arm around Kasey’s shoulder, Nicole pulled her best friend close.
“You like him, and it’s okay, Kase. He sounds like a good guy. You’ve been pushing people away since that dirt bag in college, but not all guys are cheaters.”
It was an honest, yet scary thing for Kasey to hear. She had written men off after having her heart broken, but she thought it was to protect herself. Work was less stressful than a relationship, or so she thought, so she threw herself into her career to avoid dealing with a man.
The professional aspect of Jay’s proposal was a no brainer. She knew when she left work Friday evening that she could no longer continue working for Renee. It was eating away at her conscience, and she knew she needed a change.
The personal aspect, however, was a bit trickier. Could she be someone’s girlfriend? The thought alone made her uncomfortable. Jay Canton was larger than life, she knew he had to have women flocking over him all day. How long could he really be interested in someone as normal and average as Kasey?
“He’s super hot,” Nicole said, interrupting her thoughts. Kasey glanced down, following her best friend’s attention, to see her iPhone displaying photo after photo of Jay.
“Those don’t even do him justice,” Kasey giggled.
If there was one thing she was certain of, it was that Jay was the most handsome man she’d ever seen. Everything about him seemed effortless, like he was always in control of every situation he encountered. She liked that.
After always being the leader in the relationships she fostered, whether at work or with friends, she enjoyed being around someone who handled things as well, and often better, than she did.
If their dinner was any indication of how Jay was prepared to take care of her, Kasey looked forward to more. No one had ever made her feel as special as she did when she had reached the rooftop of the restaurant, realizing it was all for her.
“I guess I could go back to work for him.” While she wasn’t being completely open with Nicole, she was sharing what she was certain of, which for Kasey was a start.
“Uh, ya think?” That was all Nicole said in response before the best friends giggled like school girls as Nicole held up her phone, displaying a flawless photo of Jay on a red carpet.
Chapter 35
Jay
After one of the first peaceful nights of sleep he’d had in a long time, Jay sat on his front porch sipping a cup of fresh brewed coffee. It was his weekend ritual, relaxing while the four-man crew worked away on his lawn. It wasn’t an attempt to watch over the workers, as much as it was admiration. They were so good at what they did, and Jay appreciated mastery at any level.
His night with Kasey had gone better than he’d expected. And although she’d requested more time, he was optimistic. Of course, he’d loved to have been invited inside for a nightcap, but the last thing he wanted was to cloud her mind with sex. She needed to arrive at a conclusion, and he wanted her to do that with a clear head.
A gray car pulled passed the open gates of his residence, and he wondered if the crew had more people coming than usual. His suspicions grew as the car pulled to a stop, until Kasey stepped out of the car, bringing a smile to his face.
“Good morning,” she called, from the bottom of the steps.
“That it is,” Jay welcomed her to the porch, offering her a chair opposite him.
“Mr. Canton, shall I bring another coffee?” Laura poked her head out of the front door, always attentive.
“Want a macchiato?” he asked Kasey, and he could tell from the look on her face that she was impressed he had remembered her drink order.
“Yes, please,” she turned and answered Laura.
“No problem.” Laura smiled a little too hard before closing the door behind her. She’d been excited the morning she found the Thai takeout, asking if Jay had a date the previous night. Laura could be too motherly at times, wanting Jay to settle down and start a family, so the idea of him bringing a woman home was hopeful to say the least.
“You have an in house barista?” Kasey turned to him, whispering as if Laura could overhear them.
“Laura does everything. She’s been my housekeeper since I moved here.” Jay chuckled at Kasey’s innocence. She’d probably never had staff at home, which had also been a new concept to him when he first hired Laura.
Jay wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth, despite what he felt people assumed. His current lifestyle looked nothing like that of his childhood, and when he first reached success it made him uncomfortable. Watching Laura return with Kasey’s macchiato, and the appreciative smiles they exchanged, he was more grateful than ever before. He wanted to give Kasey the world, and having the means to make it happen was a great resource.
“This is delicious,” Kasey closed her eyes after taking a sip of the drink.
Jay looked on, fighting the urge to ask if she’d thought about his proposal any further. Instead, he took the time to run his eyes across her body, since he couldn’t use his hands. It was the most casual he’d ever seen her, dressed in a t-shirt and loose fitting pair of jeans. Her long dark hair was pulled up into a messy bun on the top of her head, and she wore no make-up at all. Yet, it was the most beautiful he’d ever seen her, and visions of them sharing coffee on his porch every spring morning crossed his mind.
“You must be wondering why I popped up at your house unexpectedly,” Kasey brought him back to the present.
“Honestly, I was just happy to see you,” he admitted, “I hadn’t yet gotten to the wondering stage.” And that was the truth. It hadn’t occurred to him that she was there to deliver news, because he was too focused on admiring her body and daydreaming like a teenager.
“I don’t believe that, Mr. Canton,” she teased, playfully glaring over her mug. Jay held his hands up while shrugging as she continued. “I thought about what you offered me last night.”
“Mm hmm,” Jay’s eyebrows raised with anticipation, his stomach turning in knots as he waited for her to continue. It was what he wanted—to know if she would come back into his life permanently, but it was happening too fast to be good news. In his experience with closing deals, a fast return was usually a rejection, so he braced himself for the inevitable.
“I want to come back to Passions,” Kasey announced proudly.
Jay blinked slowly, sure he had misheard her. Could she really be willing to come back to work for him? In his mind, that meant she forgave him for the betrayal that prompted her to quit. He doubted he’d ever be able to regain her trust, but knowing she was willing to work for him made him optimistic about the future of their personal relationship.
“That’s great, Kasey. I’m sure the staff will go crazy to have you back in the office. I know Mitchell will be ecstatic,” Jay chuckled, thinking of how many times his best friend had asked for updates on Kasey’s return. “Have you thought anymore about the second half of my offer?”
He could sense the apprehension in her eyes before she nervously diverted her attention to the cooling macchiato she gripped with both hands. Again, his stomach twisted with anxiety as he struggled to read the emotions scrambling across her beautiful face.
Jay had been with models and famous actresses that most men fawned over. He’d had his pick of women for as long as he could remember. Even before he attained his riches, women flocked to him, so he wasn’t the kind of guy to be struck by a woman’s looks. Until Kasey Wright walked into his office. There was something about her—the confidence, maybe.
Looking across the small white table that sat between them, he noted how no other woman had ever been comfortable
enough with themselves to be so vulnerable around him. She’d shown up as herself, rather than who she presented herself to be when facing the world, it was admirable.
Kasey drove a Honda, when he knew she could afford a nicer car. It wasn’t about appearing to be something she wasn’t for her. Kasey was who she was, and she was proud of it. In a world of superficiality, that was more attractive than any physical trait.
“I know you want more than just—sex.” She whispered the word after glancing over her shoulder.
Jay leaned in before whispering back, “Laura isn’t my mother you know.”
Kasey giggled, as her cheeks turned ruby red. Reaching across the table, Jay brushed a stray hair behind her ear, and she looked up at him, leaning into his touch.
“Yes, I do want more.”
He couldn’t believe it himself. He’d never wanted more from a woman. Work was his wife, or at least that’s what he’d told himself and others when faced with the question of his dating life. Family functions were filled with relatives trying to understand why the most eligible bachelor in the city wasn’t interested in bringing a date, but Jay preferred to keep things casual with the women in his life.
Hearing his words reveal that for the first time, he wanted more than the casual flings he’d maintained since college. He wanted to build a life with Kasey, he just hoped she wanted the same.
“I’m more nervous about that part, Jay. I know you have women falling all over you,” she faded away, placing her mug on the small round table.
Taking her hands in his, Jay demanded her attention before answering a question she didn’t ask. “I don’t want any other women, Kasey. I’ve never ever asked a woman for more. This is all new to me too.”
“I’m afraid of getting hurt,” she looked to him with the most innocent look in her big almond shaped eyes.
Unable to resist any longer, Jay tugged at her hand until she rose to her feet. With her eyes locked with his, Kasey moved around the table, following his silent orders until she landed on his lap.
“I will never hurt you, Kasey.” It was a promise, one he was willing to keep. There was no part of him that ever wanted to lose Kasey again. He’d seen what that looked like, and felt the pain it brought.
Gently, he grasped the nape of her neck, pulling her face to his, as he rubbed the tip of her nose with his. “It’s been a very long time since I had a girlfriend, Kasey. But I’m willing to fumble through this and learn as I go if you are.” He spoke the words on her lips, and she answered with a kiss.
Turning her body so that her legs fell on either side of his torso, Jay slid his tongue across her soft lips, tasting the sweet coffee on her tongue. Standing with ease, Jay left their discarded coffee mugs on the table as Kasey wrapped her legs around his waist. He didn’t pay attention to the staff out on the lawn, but decided that was the end of the show for them, closing the front door behind them as he made his way to the bedroom, tasting Kasey every step of the way.
Chapter 36
Kasey
Jay placed her feet on the ground just in front of his bed, but Kasey still felt weightless from the adrenaline rush. She was surrounded by different hues of gray that decorated his bedroom with too much flare for her to believe he’d done it on his own. Jay’s eyes were hooded, and dark with lust, as he pulled her shirt over her head, quickly unsnapping her bra before allowing it to fall away.
She was so sensitive to his touch, her heart raced with every kiss he planted on her neck while his hands unbuckled her jeans. Desperate to feel him, she wiggled from the heavy denim, tugging at her panties until she was stark naked.
“Let me look at you,” Jay stepped back, his hand still gripping her hip as if he could not completely detach from her.
“You’ve seen me before,” Kasey blushed, feeling less than naked beneath his needy stare.
“Yes, but you weren’t mine before.”
Her legs were unstable as his words fell on her ears, and his possessiveness turned her on even further. She tugged at his long shirt sleeves, revealing his torso, and a tattoo covering his right arm from the shoulder down to his wrist.
“How had I forgotten about this?” She ran her fingers across the dark ink that circled and criss-crossed in an intricate and beautiful pattern.
“We’re always in such a rush, you haven’t seen that much of it,” he shrugged.
It was another layer to him, and Kasey again felt privileged to see what she felt was a secret revealed. He’d obviously gotten the tattoo in a discreet location, easily hidden in a suit. Even after their several escapades, she’d barely seen it. Most if the time is was hidden by his shirt sleeves, even down to the cuff links.
“Let me undress you,” Kasey said more than asked, as her hands were already working on the drawstring of his loose-fitting flannel pants. She could feel his erection poking through the thin fabric.
With one sharp tug, the pants dropped to his ankles, and Kasey followed just as quickly, landing softly on her knees.
“Kase—” Jay couldn’t make out her name before she had a mouthful of his cock, savoring the salty taste of him as she ran her tongue along the vein of his shaft. Glancing up, she saw him watching her, his jaw tightening as she opened her mouth wide, sliding his girth to the back of her throat.
“Mmm.” She moaned with the tip of his cock at her throat, sending vibrations through him that made him grip the bedpost. She held him there, her lips sealed around the base of his shaft, and stared up at him.
“Kasey,” he groaned, warning her, but she ignored him. Moving her head back and forth, she took as much of him in her mouth as she could manage before sucking gently, just as his hips began to rock backward.
With each release, she left a coat of saliva. Using her hands, she massaged him in opposite directions, twisting as if she were grinding pepper. Hollowing her cheeks, she sucked him harder as his hips rocked forward.
“Kasey—baby—wait—” His mouth said one thing, but his body said another, thrusting against her tongue softly, wanting more of her suction.
She reached for his balls with her left hand, while her right continued to stroke his shaft. A deep groan escaped him as her mouth and hands worked in unison, pleasuring him. Lathered in her saliva, his cock slipped through her palms, to the back of her throat, and back across her swollen lips with ease.
“Oh, fuck. Baby,” he groaned, gripping the bedpost.
Kasey was still watching him, but Jay could no longer see his cock disappear into her mouth, choosing instead to look upwards at the ceiling. His abdomen flexed as he struggled to restrain himself, but Kasey could tell he was ready to explode.
“Please, baby. I want to feel you,” he looked down, but his hips continued to rock forward, plunging into the puddle of her mouth.
Anticipating his next move, she gripped the back of his thigh, not wanting him to take his monstrous cock away before she could taste his cum for the first time.
Kasey rarely got on her knees for a man, but never had she worshipped a cock like she was Jay’s right now. She wanted him to have his way with her, showing him that she was in fact his, and it turned her on beyond belief to see him begin to lose himself.
His hand dropped to her hair, pushing wild strays from her face as he stuffed himself into her mouth. Gripping the bun on her head, he grunted, still holding the bedpost for support.
“Fuck it. Suck me, baby,” he growled, submitting to her tortuous pleasure.
Kasey smiled with a mouthful, amused that he thought he was in control, giving her permission to taste his climax. Working double time, she brought both her hands to his cock, unable to completely wrap around his thickness. Moving her head in rapid circles, she sucked and lapped him as his hips rocked faster and faster.
“Right there!” He shouted and she repeated the routine twice more before he tugged at her hair so tightly her eyes watered, holding his cock to her tonsils as he jerked, shooting thick hot semen down her throat.
“Kasey!” He growled
her name as his release poured out of him, and Kasey swallowed every drop before wiping her mouth.
Finally releasing the bedpost, Jay bent down to grip under her arms before tossing her on the bed like a rag doll. He was on top of her before she could catch her breath, his knees pushing her thighs apart to make room.
“You didn’t” she started to tease him about tossing her, but his mouth covered hers before she could speak. He kissed her with an intense aggression, and she matched his veracity.
He slid inside her tightness and she moaned against his tongue, deciding it was all or nothing—and this was much more than nothing.
Jay wasted no time pumping into her hard and fast, his arms cupping her beneath her thighs, spreading her wide enough for him to have his way with her.
