They laughed together sharing intimate stories of their childhood over a three course meal. By the time dinner was over, they were both a little tipsy from the bottle of wine they shared, so Jay insisted they take his car home.

Danny, understanding his role, was silent on the drive despite her attempts to include him in the conversation. Jay realized she wasn’t used to having help. Most people thought private drivers were like personal cab drivers, but they weren’t. The idea was for the two of them to enjoy their ride as if Danny wasn’t there.

Jay was embarrassed to admit just how much some women chose to forget Danny was there, but with Kasey everything was different. She treated the janitor and the CEO the same, and he appreciated her humility.

“I’ll see you in the morning, Danny,” Jay grumbled, before rushing out of the car, anxious to get Kasey into his home. He hadn’t spent a night with her in his bed since before he ruined everything between them.

Kasey waited patiently beside him as Jay input a code, looking over to see her looking away to give him privacy. “Oh-five-one-nine-five-oh.”

“What?” she answered, with a confused look on her face.

  “That’s the code.”

Her eyes lit up at the realization. It was the first time Jay had ever given anyone besides staff access to his home, but it felt right. After deciding to build a new company based on her vision, and then learning so much about her at dinner, he wanted Kasey to feel welcome in his home.

“Jay, you don’t have to do that,” Kasey blushed, as she walked into the foyer.

Watching her hips sway, Jay crept behind her before slowly sliding her thin strap down her arm. She froze, her body reacting to every touch.

“Can I take this off?” he asked, and then placed a soft kiss on her shoulder.

  “Yes,” she breathed.

Jay removed the second strap, gently tugging at the fabric until it pooled at her feet, leaving her in nothing but a black thong. He smiled at her naked body walking in circles around her like a wild animal. He’d waited all day to have his way with her, and from the look in Kasey’s eyes, he knew she was hungry for him as well.

  Kasey

“You’re so wet,” Jay groaned. His mouth was close to her ear as he buried his face in her neck, his heavy breathing tickling her sensitive skin.

They were still in the entrance to his house. The lights were off and the air was cool. Jay was behind her, running his fingers over her shoulders to sweep her hair to one side. He planted a kiss below her ear as he continued massaging her dripping pussy.

“Have you been thinking about this all day?” he asked, as he pulled her panties to the side and slipped a finger inside her.

Kasey sucked in a breath and instinctively spread her legs. She couldn’t find her voice to answer him, so she used her body instead, arching her back and pressing her ass into his groin. She could feel his cock straining against the front of his pants. She wiggled her ass, feeling him growing harder by the second.

Jay chuckled and eased another finger inside her. “Naughty girl.”

Kasey giggled breathlessly as he flicked his fingers insider her, pressing against her walls in all the right places. She reached behind her head to cup his face and turn him to her. She craned her neck and their lips locked together as he continued fucking her with his fingers.

She knew she wouldn’t be able to stay on her feet like this much longer. Soon she would buckle, and her body would be screaming for more than just this—not that this wasn’t exquisite.

She was suddenly empty and Jay was scooping her up in his arms. She stared longingly up at him as he brought her to his bedroom and put her on the bed. She made to roll onto her back and he stilled her with a stern look. Confused, she froze and awaited his direction.

“Stay on your knees,” Jay said, “and turn around.”

Giddy with excitement and thrumming with lust, Kasey did as she was directed. She turned away from him and planted herself on all fours. She shimmied backwards so that her knees rested on the very edge of the mattress, then intentionally put a dramatic curve in her spine so that her ass was up in the air for him. She knew he loved the curves of her body, and giving him a good view of her pussy as he undid his belt and stripped was easy.

He watched her as he undressed and fumbled with the buttons of his shirt. Kasey chuckled as she watched him over her shoulder.

“Hurry up,” she cooed, letting her hips sway from side to side.

“I’m trying,” he muttered, becoming exasperated with his shirt.

Kasey had an impulse that shocked her. She didn’t say a word as she reached down between her thighs, cupped her pussy, and traced one finger up and down her opening. She was shocked at how wet she was.

Jay managed to get his shirt off, and then fell still when he saw what she was doing. His eyes widened a little as he watched her play with herself. Kasey felt her cheeks grow hot, but she didn’t care. She dared to be bold and slipped a finger into her pussy.

“Fuck,” Jay breathed, closing the distance between them and reaching down to still her hand. He couldn’t take his eyes off her pink, swollen pussy wrapped around her finger. “You’re so fucking sexy Kasey.” He slipped a finger into her alongside her own.

  Kasey moaned.

It was too good. Too sensual. Too intimate.

It was everything she had been craving.

He fucked her gently, his finger running alongside her own, until neither of them could stand it any longer. He pushed her hand out of the way and grabbed his shaft. He stroked himself a few times, coating his cock in her juices, and then leaned in to push himself inside her.

He didn’t restrain himself. Perhaps he was incapable of it. He bucked against her, hard and fast, filling her to the point where she thought she might have to tell him to take it easy. But she didn’t. She held her tongue and he put his hand between her shoulder blades, pushing her down on the mattress.

His thrusts were wild and uncontrolled as he grabbed her ass and spread her open. Kasey moaned his name into the blankets beneath her cheek, and then wrapped her fists in them as he brought her closer to the brink of an all-consuming orgasm.

When he slapped her ass, she unraveled, spiraling into an oblivion of pleasure as he filled her up with silky wet warmth. He was breathing hoarsely behind her as he slowed, and they reveled in the slickness they had created together before coming apart.

Jay climbed onto the bed beside her and gathered her up in his arms. He kissed her shoulders and the back of her neck and breathed in the smell of her.

“Let me bathe you,” he said, his words filling her with apprehension as his fingers ran along her scalp.

“Huh?” she stalled. Surely, she had heard him incorrectly, she thought to herself.

“You heard me,” Jay called her out, and she could hear his smile in the tone. She turned over, pulling the sheets with her to face him.

“You want to bathe me?” She repeated his request.

“Come on,” he smirked, lifting her from the bed as she playfully wiggled her legs in a fake protest.

But Kasey was nervous, apprehensive even. She’d had many sexual encounters in her years, and even found herself engaged while she was in college. But never had she shared a space as intimate as a bath with a man.

Her heart raced as she watched Jay run the water in his elegant oval free standing bathtub. She giggled as he scrunched his eyebrows together, reading the labels of lavender bottles of bath salts. She wondered if he had planned this all along as she went to retrieve the bottle from his hand.

“What are you doing with bath salts?” she asked, biting her bottom lip to contain the smile begging to display her amusement. There was no doubt her cheeks had grown a ruby shade.

“I told Laura you’d be staying over and she must have left these,” he said, as if that answered everything. “You know, my housekeeper. You met her,” Jay added, noticing the confusion on Kasey’s face.

&nb
sp; “Oh,” she nodded, looking over the different options in the small wicker basket before deciding on a few. She sprinkled lavender salt crystals under the running faucet before adding bubble bath and essential oils to the warm water.

“Come here,” Jay wrapped his arms around Kasey’s shoulders, kissing her neck gently before helping her into the bathtub.

He settled behind her, his arms still finding comfort around her body. And, when she was satisfied with the water height, Kasey turned the faucet off using her toes.

Jay reached the small side table beside the bathtub to retrieve a washcloth and bar of soap that smelled so amazing, Kasey had to inspect the pink bar, carved with intricate rose details.

Starting on her neck, Jay rubbed circles of suds across her body as she relaxed against his chest.

“I’m going to begin the rollout for the new company on Monday,” he began, startling her relaxed mood with business talk.

  “Yeah?”

“It’s the perfect time. And I don’t expect it to take longer than a few months to get it off the ground.” He spoke confidently about her idea, and it made butterflies flutter in her belly.

Kasey knew she wasn’t like most women, searching for compliments about her hair or body. Jay’s appreciation for her mind and respect for her creativity and work ethic boosted her confidence beyond measure, in a way that flattery never could.

“I think the authors will take to it,” she reiterated the reason she thought it could be a great success.

  “It’s going to change everything.”

Jay seemed so excited, Kasey wondered if he thought it could bring Passions Publishing more success than any other venture in the past. She did, but she kept that to herself to avoid sounding arrogant.

Some might have thought it unromantic to discuss business surrounded by suds in a luxury bath tub. But to Kasey, it was ideal and in many ways a fantasy she doubted could truly exist. She was falling for Jay in every way possible, and it felt amazing.

It had been so long since she’d given in to emotionally lose herself in a relationship. She wondered if this was what true love felt like as Jay began to use his strong hands to knead her soap covered shoulders.

  Chapter 51

  Jay

His eyes fluttered at the sunlight sneaking into the room. With a glance over to his nightstand, he saw it was just after nine in the morning. It was rare for Jay to sleep in, but after staying up so late with Kasey, it made sense.

A late night with a woman usually meant something completely different. While he and Kasey had pleased each other physically more, it was their conversation that left him feeling more attracted to her.

Her eyes gleamed when she told him about her upbringing, but he doubted that she fully believed him when he said how much he could relate to going without. It must be difficult to imagine him growing up with less while sleeping in this mansion, but Jay wanted Kasey to know the real him, the man behind the money.

Carefully, he snuck out of the bed, moving slowly so he didn’t disturb Kasey. Pulling the curtains closed, the room darkened, and he made his way out of the bedroom before tip toeing down the staircase.

It had been a while since he had cooked for himself, but for some reason he wanted to make Kasey breakfast. It had been years since he had Laura work on weekends, since he usually spent his that time out and about, hopping from one party to the next. And because he didn’t bring women to his house, he ate more room service on the weekends than home cooked meals.

He’d just finished making Kasey’s omelet when he heard her behind him. She looked adorable, wearing one of his t-shirts, which barely covered her ass. He made a mental note to have his personal shopper include a few things for her in next week’s package so that she could have options when she stayed over. In his eyes, she would look good in anything, but Kasey deserved silk and satin, and he wanted to be the one to provide it.

“Hey, sleepy head,” he greeted her.

“Why didn’t you wake me up?” she pouted, rubbing her eyes with her knuckles.

“I planned to. With breakfast,” Jay answered, as he slid the perfectly cooked omelet onto a white ceramic plate.

“You can cook? Or did Laura just sneak out the back door?” she teased, as she settled onto a bar stool.

Jay chuckled before beginning his own omelet, but in the back of his mind he was developing a plan. It was something he’d never done before, and that made him feel like it was the right thing.

Everything was new with Kasey, and he regularly found himself trying out new places and opening up more than he known was possible. He welcomed the change, and in times like this felt he enjoyed it more than she did.

“I want to take you somewhere,” Jay said, as he finished his omelet, joining Kasey at the breakfast bar.

“Luckily for you. I owe you my life for this amazing breakfast, so I’ll go to the end of the world with you,” Kasey smiled, with a mouthful of food.

Jay couldn’t help but acknowledge how truthful her joke was from his perspective. He actually would go to the end of the world with Kasey, and after risking everything with his deal with Renee, it was impossible to deny.

“I’m serious. I want to show you something.”

“I want to see it,” she said, before taking the last bite of her omelet.

After cleaning up together, they returned to Jay’s room, where he strolled to his massive closet with Kasey after she assured him she could find something of his to wear for the day. He’d wanted to order a new outfit to be delivered from his personal shopper, but Kasey said that was ridiculous.

He sat on the velvet bench as she slipped on a pair of his jeans. Bending down, she twisted the fabric at her ankles into a thin cuff. Then, to his amusement, she folded the waistband over and settled them low on her hips, taking a step back to admire her creation in the mirror before stepping into her heels from the previous night. He was struck by how stylish and beautiful she looked in his clothes. He thought to himself that she wore the jeans better than he did.

Jay gave her a white button down shirt, and she styled it off one shoulder, tucking a corner of the hem into her jeans and letting the rest hang free. He stood, impressed by her ability to look good in anything. Quickly, he dressed in jeans and a t-shirt while Kasey styled her hair in a care-free bun on the top of her head.

“Ready?” he asked, needing to get out of the house before he stripped the clothes from her body. Seeing her so effortlessly sexy turned him on, but he didn’t want to delay his plans any longer. They needed sunlight for what he wanted to do.

“This way,” he instructed Kasey, when they reached the landing on the first floor. She was heading to the front door, but he wanted to go out to the garage.

“Are you kidding me?” she gasped, when Jay turned the lights on in the twelve car garage, revealing a range of vehicles.

  “What?”

“You don’t even drive!” she shrieked.

  “I used to.”

It was true. Jay was really into cars when he was younger. Most of his collection of cars were a decade or older. A few were well kept antiques, but most were just collecting dust.

Danny was still on call to drive him around, but he wanted to drive Kasey instead. She blushed when he opened the passenger door for her, remarking that no man had ever done that before. It made Jay beam with pride, but he tried to downplay the feeling to Kasey.

“Where are we going? She asked, as they rode down his driveway. Jay pushed a button on the dashboard, and the front gates slowly opened.

  “It’s a surprise.”

They didn’t speak much on the ride to the secret location. After a night like they’d had, there was no such thing as awkward silence, and when he reached across the center console to find her hand, Kasey quickly reacted, and settled her thin fingers within his own.

The wide and clear streets of his neighborhood were long gone as they made their way through the city. After more than thirty minutes on the highway, Jay exite
d, turning down a narrow road cluttered with trash. He noticed Kasey’s posture change, and she was more alert, though he didn’t sense fear.

The neighborhood was notorious for crime and extreme poverty, but she didn’t turn her nose up in the way he imagined many other women, or even business associates, would have.

“This is where I wanted to take you,” he announced, as he pulled his Mercedes to the side. It was the most modest of his vehicles, but in that neighborhood, it felt like a target on his back.

Kasey looked over at him silently, and then nodded slowly. Jay walked around the car to open her door, and offered his hand to help her out.
