Finding Their Flame [Stone Passions 2]

“I think you like the thought of that.” He brushed his lips over her neck.
“I definitely do.” She leaned forward, trying to get more pressure from his hand.
“I will get to it.” He pulled back and his hand fell away from her.
“You are just a big tease.” She exhaled and wriggled a little.
“No teasing here.” He leaned down and nibbled at her shoulder.
A shiver ran down her back. His hot breath puffed over her skin. She tensed and pushed forward. Something just a little firmer would give her what she needed.
He lapped at the skin above her nipple. The bud tightened. A pang shot from that nub and straight down to her core. Oh man, he knew just what to do. Warm breath drifted over the sensitive tip, a soft, caressing breeze. He swirled his tongue around it, but somehow managed not to even graze the sensitive tip. She arched.
“You’re such a huge tease. You know how much I need it. Yet, you’re not even stroking my nipple.” She pulled at the bonds. The ribbon tautened. Silky fabric dug into her wrists, but didn’t give.
“I know how much you like it.” He nodded. “I also know it makes you hotter when I delay touching you here. Your body tightens, and your mind locks on what I’m going to do and when I’m going to do it.”
Too right. Anxious anticipation tautened her body. His lips hovered so close to her breast. She wriggled. If he’d just do something. He nipped the slope and soothed the prickling sting with soft laps.
“I love the way the color rises in your skin.” His mouth drifted over to the valley between her breasts. “A soft pink that darkens your cheeks and even the rise of your breasts.”
She twisted, trying to get her nipple to brush against his lips. He moved back just enough to avoid it. She exhaled heavily. Damn. Tremors ran over her body.
He slid a hand over her stomach. The muscles tensed, and her breath caught. He traced the edge of her jeans. She stilled as his fingers eased beneath the waistband. Finally.
His mouth closed over her nipple. Teeth scraped the taut bead. Sizzling heat arced through her. She gasped. Her body tightened, and she rose to her tiptoes.
His teeth grazed lightly before he drew on her flesh. With each hard pull, her heartbeat raced, and a piercing sensation streaked straight down to the growing knot low in her belly. Her hands clenched. If only I could touch him…
Her pants loosened. She gasped. When did he do that? Heat washed through her. Hopefully, his fingers would push between the lips or maybe he’d kneel and lick her until she was screaming and creaming.
“Your scent just increased. What are you thinking about?” He pressed a kiss in the valley between her breasts before he moved to the other one.
“What you’re going to do next. You’ve unbuttoned my pants. You’re kissing and sucking, but I know you’re going to move lower soon.” She twisted her body a little. The bud brushed over his lips.
“Yes, I will. Your luscious fragrance is teasing me.” He traced his tongue around her nipple. “Let’s see how slick you are for me.”
His hand slid inside her pants. Fingers eased beneath the edge of her panties and down between her legs. Warm tingles flared and spread. He nudged between the lips.
“You’re wet for me. I wonder if you’re clenching, trying to draw something deep into you.” He lapped at the taut bud in front of him.
Yes, but the man might get a big head if she admitted it. He had enough arrogance. Definitely didn’t need the additional boost.
His finger circled her clit. She pressed down against his hand. Those twirling fingers somehow avoided the bundle of nerves. She strained upward. His fingers bumped it. Her breath caught, and her hips jerked up. He took that warmth away.
“You’re persistent.” He laughed and grazed her nipple with his lips.
“I know what I want.” She wrenched at the ribbon. It held fast.
“And so do I.” He opened his mouth and sucked at the tight bud.
She arched. Yes. His mouth felt so good. He pushed her pants down to her thighs, but left them there, constraining her legs. She wriggled. Damn, he was moving so slowly. His hand glided down her hips. He gripped them, but straightened. His mouth left her breast with a smack. She groaned.
“I could turn you around and thrust into you right now.” He nipped at the skin above her ribs.
She shivered. He slid his hand back to the folds. His mouth swept a kiss across her belly button. Fluttering sensations skipped across her skin. She shifted on her feet. A throb pulsed in her clit with every heartbeat. She wriggled and clenched her fists. He would pay for torturing her like this.
“I love making you go wild with passion.” He lapped at the skin of her hip bone and his hand fell away.
“Touch me.” She rocked her hips forward.
“I’ll do that for you, sunshine, as soon as I get there. The next touch you feel will be my mouth pressing right where my hand was.” He skimmed a kiss over her thigh as he dropped to his knees. “I’m going to put your thigh on my shoulder to open you. Can you stand comfortably like that?”
She’d balance on her head if he’d get on with it. “I’ll tell you if I start feeling off balance or the ties on my wrists begins to dig into my wrists.”
“Good.” He patted her leg and lifted it off the floor.
About time. The man was impossible. He gripped her thigh and rested it securely on his shoulder. She held on to the ribbon. Hot breath fanned over her skin. Tingles erupted and burst wherever it touched.
She gulped. So close, but not on his tongue. Hopefully, he didn’t send her right over. Her inner muscles clenched. A pang echoed through her. His thick length pushing deep would feel so good.
His tongue swiped over the lips. Sizzling heat flared along the path. Her hands clenched. Electricity danced across her skin. She couldn’t take her eyes off him. So sexy and the light in his eyes. He really enjoyed this.
His tongue lashed at her folds, gathering the juices before delving between the lips. A soft hum flowed from him. He lapped at her. His tongue swirled over her clit and then down to her entrance. Her hips rocked forward, pushing into the too-soft touch. A rumbling growl rolled from him as he drew in her juices. Her body tightened. Please. Only a moan drifted from her lips.
She tugged, trying to lower her hands. If she could get a grip on his hair, she could pull him tighter to her. The ribbon held. Damn.
She wriggled. His hand tightened on her thigh. He again lapped at her clit. Her body bowed, and she lifted against him. The tightness coiled low in her stomach. She moaned.
His head lifted, but his hand took its place. She groaned. He better not stop. A shiver raced through her. He stroked her clit. The tips of his fingers dragged over the sensitive flesh. She rocked upward. Her heart pounded. Everywhere he touched tingled.
“That’s it. A little more and you’ll be there.” He dropped kisses over her hip. “Damn, sunshine, you’re so beautiful.”
“Thane, I want you with me.” She clenched her fists. Not without him. Her arms tensed, but the rope still held. She drew in a slow breath. An ache raged inside of her.
“I’m right here. Soon, I’ll be under you on the floor as you ride me. Maybe one day you’ll let me take some pictures of you like this.” He stood. His hand remained between her legs, fingers circling her clit.
“No nude pictures.” She shook her head. At least, not until she could talk to him and think clearly.
With rushed movements, he tore off his clothes. He unhooked the rope and untied the ribbon. Finally, she’d get to touch him, too. He drew her away from the wall and sprawled on the carpet. She hurried over to him. Now, it was her turn. She knelt and pressed her hands to his chest. He gripped her hips and guided her down onto his thick cock.
Tingles rippled through her body as her inner muscles stretched around his cock. Her head fell back. He lifted his hips in silent urging. Her nails sank into his chest as she savored the intense ache. She gasped and rocked her hips. Teasing man. The
burn flaring through her left her on the edge. She clenched her jaw, trying to hold on to control as long as possible.
Her hips lifted. She shivered as she lowered onto him again. A flare burst through her. For a few strokes, she managed slow and steady. With each downward glide, he ground her against him. The provoking man. His hips bucked up to meet hers. The pulsing burn flared high. She couldn’t hold back any longer.
She rose over him and lowered. With each descent, her pace quickened. Release beckoned, but hung out of reach. She ground against him and once again rose. He pulled her down as he arched up into her. She gasped. A shiver tore down her spine as the fiery intensity burst through her body. He guided her in a hard rhythm as he drove up into her. She canted her hips a little, seeking that extra sensation.
He tensed. His hips drove upward and he called her name. She collapsed against his chest and enjoyed the closeness for a few moments. Her hands clutched his shoulders. Warmth flowed through her. At moments like this, she could forget all of the doubts and problems they had.
Chapter Twenty Eight
When will this be over?
Cael drummed his fingers on the dashboard as he leaned forward. Discovering that house on the edge of town had been helpful. Two days after that, they’d followed the Gobel to another house, but this one was outside of the city. It was owned by the same man who owned the construction company. Definitely more the type of spot for someone conducting illegal activity. Sufficient privacy for Gobel to take form and keep prying eyes away.
“We’ll be moving in soon, but everyone has to get in position.” Dante sprawled back in the car seat. “The text will come in and then we’ll go.”
Cael narrowed his eyes, straining to see some sign of light. Not that it was possible. They weren’t close enough. This couldn’t fall apart because of carelessness. If possible, they wanted to get the six Gobel in that house. It might stop the attacks on them or it might not. Only searching the house would give them any indication about if this was the last of them or if there were more.
Six corrupt Gobel working together. That was a first. Even two normally couldn’t do that. He tapped his fingers again before he sat back.
“Relax and don’t let the desire to end this distract you from what needs to be done. There are too many Gobel in that house to run in recklessly. Even with all the men we’re taking, there’s a big chance something could happen or one or two could slip away.” Dante shook his head. “And stop with the drumming of the fingers before I decide to break them.”
“Yeah, you aren’t going to do that. A few months ago, maybe, but now, you’d have to deal with Moriah and her getting angry that we hurt each other.” Cael shook his head. She wouldn’t like it even though it hadn’t come up yet.
“Not this time, but don’t think that if we have serious problems we won’t settle it however works best.” Dante exhaled heavily. “I want to make her happy, but we have to do the best thing for us, too.”
“Never thought that it would be any different. Minor annoyances aren’t worth aggravating her, though. And she’s already dealing with a lot.” Cael ran his hands through his hair. If they only had to face the normal mating problems, he wouldn’t have been so concerned. The Gobel and the attacks on her made a strange situation even stranger.
Dante’s phone beeped. “Everyone’s waiting. We can move into position. When we get there, we’ll text Sawyer. When he knows that everyone’s ready, he’ll text us to go. He’s got the best vantage point.”
Cael started the car and drove down the road toward the home. He pulled onto a side road. Another stopped near theirs. Nothing to worry about. Just another of their cars. Cael pushed open his car door and got out. He waited for Dante to join him. They crept toward their positions. The Gobel wouldn’t be able to get out of the house without being seen.
“Her opinion matters just as much to you, doesn’t it?” Dante glanced at him as they strode through the trees.
“Yes.” Cael nodded. Whoever had owned this in the past had planted some trees. If it wasn’t for some Douglas firs, they wouldn’t be able to get even this close without being spotted. “If she didn’t matter, all of this wouldn’t be nearly as stressful. I want to make it safe for her.”
“I know. I want her to have what she needs and be able to do what she wants.” Dante crouched near one of the trees and glanced over.
Cael did the same. Three cars sat in the driveway of the house. No one seemed to be looking out the windows, but they could have cameras. None in sight, but it didn’t mean they weren’t there.
A low vibration sounded. Dante looked at his phone. “It’s go time.”
Cael nodded. They advanced. When they cleared the trees, they rushed forward. Cael stayed low. Gobel sometimes used guns.
“I’ll take the door. You’ve got the window.” Dante ran for the steps.
Cael gritted his teeth. Hopefully, the Gobel hadn’t put in shatter-proof glass. That would fucking hurt. He ran for the window and dove through just as Dante put a shoulder to the door.
Glass cracked. Pain seared along his right arm. He rolled as he landed. The throbbing ache flared at the pressure. He popped to his feet. The door burst open.
Two Gobel stared, almost as if frozen. Too damn bad for them. Cael rushed forward and tackled the one on his right. Movement flashed to his left, followed by a thud. Dante had joined the fight.
Cael slammed his fist into the Gobel’s jaw. A jolt shot up his arm. The Gobel howled and swung back at him. The closed-fist punch slammed into his shoulder. Cael winced. Pain shot through the joint. Damn. Cael shoved the Gobel back down against the floor and slammed his fist into its jaw twice.
With any luck, he could get the damn thing down fast. He had to secure him. Others wouldn’t go so smoothly. They had to take at least some of these creatures alive.
The creature shook its head and swung open-handed. Its claws slashed at his neck and face. Cael’s arm rose to block, but the sharp points bit deep into the flesh. Fuck. Warm liquid seeped downward.
Heat seared as the air hit the wound. He slammed his hand into the creature’s jaw again. Sharp bolts jolted up his arm. He blocked a wild flail of the Gobel’s arm and once again drove his fist against its jaw. The Gobel went limp, its arms falling to the floor.
Cael drew in a deep breath, stood, and flipped the gray-skinned creature onto its stomach. He secured its arms. He let out a long breath. Son of a bitch. That thing had a jaw of granite.
As he finished, a gray shape flashed past him. The pounding of feet preceded another form in blue jeans and T-shirt. He whipped around. The Gobel jumped out the window. Sawyer dashed after it. Cael jumped to his feet and sprinted after them both. Damn it, that thing couldn’t get away. He leaped out the window.
Rolling to his feet, he spotted them to his left. They ran toward one of the outbuildings. Sawyer tripped, but sprang to his feet and took off after the Gobel again. The beast ran into the building. A rev of an engine sounded. As Sawyer reached the door, a motorcycle roared from the building and tore down the road. Cael tried to grab the creature as it whipped past, but his fingers slipped off the gray-skinned arm.
“Son of a bitch.” Cael clenched his fists and drew in a deep breath. He’d fucking gotten away.
“My feelings exactly.” Sawyer strode over to him. “You know you’re bleeding, right? I mean actively. Not just were.”
Cael glanced down at the gashes on his arm. “It’s not that bad. It will stop soon. At least there’s no poison on it.”
“Maybe when you pass out and someone gets some pressure on it, it will stop.” Sawyer shook his head. He pulled out his phone and typed in something. “Come on. Someone’s going to bring a medical kit.”
“No time for that. We should be pulling out soon.” Cael shook his head.
“It won’t take long, and they haven’t even gotten the vehicle up here to take the Gobel we captured back to the community for questioning.” Sawyer waved his hand through the air. “See, Alex i
s already there and the van hasn’t made it here yet.”
Cael heaved a sigh. Alex was indeed waiting on the porch with a big medic’s box. Alex had come as medical backup if necessary, especially since Thane wasn’t here. Cael climbed the steps.
“Woah, one of them really got you, Cael.” Alex lowered the box to the porch and flipped it open. “From just the look of those, you’re going to have to have some stitches when we get back to the community.”
“It was the window, too. I’ll have Thane check it and see if it does.” Cael extended his arm so that Alex could begin treating them.
“And Thane will want to put stitches in,” Dante said.
Cael glanced to his right. Dante leaned against the doorjamb with his arms crossed. Not quite relaxed, but Dante seemed to be somewhat satisfied.
“Everything wrapping up in there?” Cael winced as Alex pressed some bandages over the wound.
The man held them there, fingers digging into the edges of the wound. Cael gritted his teeth. Fuck, that stung. Alex applied adhesive strips over the wad of padding. Cael clenched his fingers, trying to keep from pulling back. It would only take longer.
“Yes, all except for two Gobel were caught, and we’re taking the electronics we found here. They don’t seem to have prepared for anyone to come for them at all.” Dante shook his head. “It is going to take time to see what they had on those computers, phones, and tablets. But the building will be cleaned of any trace of us before we’re gone.”
“A whole lot of work, but hopefully something will come of it.” Cael leaned back to get a look into the house.
“Good, now, we just have to find those other two and make sure there aren’t any others. We’re cleaning up your blood, although none of them would call the police. We found a lot of jewelry and household electronics in one of the back rooms.” Dante shook his head. “It looks like they’ve been running a theft ring from here.”
