They generously poured out the batter on the pan in circles and put the heat on high.

“I guess now we just wait for it to be done.” Sasha said.

“That looks delicious already.” Julian said as he grabbed her around the waist kissing her and rubbing his hands over her body. Moaning slightly she kissed him back hard. Lost in themselves they forgot everything else and were roused from their passions when the smoke alarm suddenly went off.

Startled they looked towards the stove where the pancakes were burned to a crisp.

“Oh shit!” Julian exclaimed and he ran towards the smoke alarm to turn it off while Sasha rushed to the stove to remove the pan from the stove.

Once the alarm was off they looked at each other and simultaneously burst into laughter.

“Things are already going wrong for us!” Julian said jokingly.

“I think I’m okay with that.” Sasha replied.

“But this means I’m going to starve to death!” he said in mock concern.

Swatting him lovingly on the arm Sasha folded her arms in indignation, “I’m not bad!”

Holding up a burned pancake Julian said, “I rest my case.”

Smiling widely he threw out the ruined pancakes and wrapped Sasha in to a hug,

“Come what do you say we go and get real pancakes?”

  “Like a breakfast date?”

“Like a breakfast date.” He confirmed.

Leaning over he kissed her on the cheek while snapping a picture with his phone.

“This picture is to remind us of how happy we are in this moment and how much I love you. Promise me that whenever things get hard or bad we’ll always remember this moment right here and remember how much we love each other.”

“I promise.” Sasha pledged knowing that no matter how hard things might get there was nowhere and nobody else she would rather be with.
