I slowly pulled back the curtain. Trevor was wearing noise cancellation headphones and he was scribbling furiously on a notepad. It looked like he didn’t want to be interrupted, so I quietly closed the curtain and went to sit back down. I pulled out my iPod and put my ear buds in. I decided to listen to some Aus Deutschland. German industrial rock always had a therapeutic effect on me whenever I was frustrated. They did all of my screaming and growling for me so I didn’t have to. And the driving guitar riffs really resonated with me when I was upset. Aus Deutschland was the best. Christoff’s melodic baritone vocals always delighted me. The sound of his voice stirred so many memories. The last time I was on a private jet was six months ago when I was interviewing Christoff, on the way to Chicago from L.A. He had really pissed me off that night, but somehow we ended up hooking up before we even made it to Chicago. No matter how much time passed or whom I fell in love with, I could never forget that night. It changed my life. I wondered what Christoff was doing at that exact moment on the other side of the world. Maybe he had just had a fight with his girlfriend. Or maybe he was still single. Or knowing Christoff he probably had multiple girlfriends. I shook my head and smiled as I realized I made the right decision by choosing Trevor over Christoff. Christoff was a playboy and he had already broken my heart once. I’d be a fool to let it happen again. Trevor was definitely more long-term material. Even if I did have to take part in his alternative lifestyle, at least he wasn’t a player. And I definitely wasn’t with him for his money but I really did enjoy the lifestyle he provided. His jet was far bigger and more glamorous than Christoff’s. Not that those kind of things matter to me, but I did notice. I hope that being with a billionaire isn’t turning me into a snob. Nah! My tastes have just become more refined. I closed my eyes and allowed myself to get lost in the music.

I don’t know how much time had passed but all of a sudden I felt someone touch my knee. I jumped and my eyes popped wide open. Trevor sat down next to me. His hair was messy, but he looked like he had calmed down. In fact he looked rather gleeful. I pulled my ear buds out. I was suspicious. “Giavanna, thank you!” Trevor’s tone was bright. I was so confused. Less than an hour ago he was screaming and swearing at me, and now he’s thanking me? Strange. Is he clinically insane?

“What are you thanking me for?”

  “For being my muse.”

“What?” I scrunched up my face. Yeah he is crazy… well at least he isn’t yelling any more. Perhaps I should embrace the fact that the storm has blown over.

“My current album that I’m supposed to go in the studio to record early next month was one track short. I had the music but not the lyrics. Some of the things you said to me stirred up some emotions that I had been having trouble accessing. The fire that you ignited spurned me to write what I think is lyrically the strongest song on the album. I couldn’t have done it without you, so I suppose I should thank you.”

Trevor is so weird, but for some reason I’m crazy about him. “Well you’re welcome. So does this mean you’re not mad at me anymore?” I sat up and looked into his eyes.

“No, I’m not mad. In fact I’m sorry. I feel like I was kind of a dick earlier. You did need to hear some of what I said, but I guess I didn’t have to raise my voice at you. You know I’m usually not like that. It’s just our conversation reminded me of some sensitive issues that I try not to think about too much. Some of it is not your fault, but I do need you to try to be more understanding.”

“I’m sorry too Trevor. When I realized that you were upset I shouldn’t have continued to provoke you. I really could have handled things better. I’ll forgive you if you forgive me.”

  “Deal.”

“You know, I’m not totally against signing the contract — I just need some more time to think about it, and I need you to understand that.”

“Fair enough. Let’s just let the issue rest and enjoy Christmas. I’ll expect a decision from you on or before New Year’s Day but until then I will just do my best to be the normal vanilla boyfriend that you’ve known for the past two months. How’s that sound?”

“Sounds good to me,” I beamed. Even though I was still hurt by the way he disrespected me, I was relieved that he and I were on good terms again.

“Good.” Trevor kissed me softly on the lips. My heart fluttered. He kissed me again. This time his lips lingered. He caressed the side of my face with his palm as he drove his tongue into my mouth. I massaged his tongue with mine. A wave of pleasure washed over me each time our tongues touched. I ran my fingers through his hair as he pushed me backwards and climbed on top of me. He kissed me deeply and passionately as his hands explored my body with firm, deep strokes. I grabbed his perfectly toned ass and pulled him into me as I spread my legs. I enjoyed the warmth of his hardness pressed against me. He slid his hands up my back and unhooked my bra. He gently massaged my breasts as he nibbled on my bottom lip. I was wet with excitement. Trevor moaned as I reached between his legs and grabbed him from behind. “I love it when you squeeze me there.” Trevor breathed in my ear. He lifted my sweater and explored my breasts with his mouth. He grunted as I continued to caress him through his jeans. His jaw was tight with sexual tension as he pulled my leggings down below my thighs and slipped two fingers inside of me. My muscles clenched as he penetrated me. He brought his lips back to mine and kissed me slowly and sensually as he continued to drive his fingers inside of me. I unzipped his pants as I squirmed beneath him. I slid my hand up and down his shaft with slow, firm strokes. He grunted as I moaned in his ear and pressed my body against him. He scooped me off the sofa quickly and smoothly, and carried me behind the curtain into the bedroom area. He threw me down on the bed and ripped off my leggings and panties before tearing out of his jeans and boxer briefs. “Tell me how bad you want me Giavanna.”

“I want you Trevor, more than you know,” I moaned as I touched myself. I was crawling out of my skin with anticipation. Trevor pulled his shirt off and climbed on top of me in one fluid motion. He pushed my knees to my chest and threw my legs over his shoulders. We exchanged wet, sloppy kisses, and our tongues played together outside of our mouths. Trevor cupped my breast with one hand and used his other hand to guide his cock inside of me. My body welcomed his. He drove into me with deep, forceful thrusts. He sucked on my neck as he drove into me harder and faster. The perfect combination of pleasure and pain pulsed through my entire body. I gently tugged his hair as I felt a pleasant wave of tension mount within me. He pulled my hair in return as he continued driving into me. He ran his bottom teeth between my breasts, across my chest and up to my neck. It hurt and felt good at the same time. Wave after wave of pleasure overtook me, as his weight pressed down on my clit each time he entered me. He pinched my nipples as he penetrated me with hard, fast thrusts. All of my hair stood on end, and my muscles clenched around his cock, as he took me completely over the edge. I called out his name as I became completely consumed by my orgasm. Trevor grunted and he thrust into me with hard, slow pumps. He lifted my leg from his shoulder and began to kiss my calf as he rode me. “Holy shit, your body feels so good,” Trevor moaned as he pushed deep inside of me. I felt like my body was going to explode. He gently tugged my clit with his fingers as he drove into me and I became completely undone. My entire body shuddered and I dug my nails into Trevor’s back, as a guttural moan escaped me. I struggled to catch my breath as I came down from an orgasm unlike any other. Trevor inhaled sharply as he pulled out of me and saturated my chest with his warm explosion. His hot wetness felt good on my skin. “Oh Giavanna, you make me come so hard,” Trevor breathed, as he drained every drop from his cock with slow, deliberate strokes. “I’m going to grab some paper towels. I think we’re about to land soon, so we need to get cleaned up quickly.” Trevor spoke softly as he rose from the bed and disappeared behind the curtain. I closed my eyes and rested my head on the pillows as I waited for Trevor to return. I was delirious with satisfaction. My body felt sore and used-up, and I liked it. My heart was racing, and
my head was swimming with endorphins. I tried not to move as the plane started to rock. I didn’t want to make a mess of Trevor’s sheets. Trevor came back with a wad of dry paper towels and a couple of wet ones. He sat down beside me and began to clean me up, slowly and delicately. He gazed at me adoringly until he wiped me clean. He handed the wet paper towels to me. “Here, you can finish the job with this. I’m going to get dressed.” He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek as I wiped my chest, and between my legs, with the wet paper towels. I really wished we had time for a shower, but neither one of us could stop smiling as we got dressed. “See? Now I proved that I can have normal, traditional sex.”

“Well done,” I beamed. “Although I wouldn’t call that normal or traditional. There were a few tricks in there that were new to me. I liked it… a lot.” I sighed. “But my neck is sore — so is my chest.” I rubbed my skin with my hand.

“Oh shit, I think I went a little too rough on you.” Trevor tilted my head to the side to get a closer look at my neck. “I left a few hickies and bruises. Sorry, I get carried away sometimes. I didn’t mean to go so hard. Do you have makeup to cover that?”

“Let me go see what the damage looks like. I crawled out of bed, slipped on my V-neck sweater, and straightened my leggings. My mouth dropped open when I saw my reflection. There was a light bruise on my chest and a darker one on my neck from Trevor’s teeth. And I had three crimson red hickies that were visible. Concealer wasn’t going to cover that. Luckily I had packed a few turtlenecks in my luggage. And thankfully we took our luggage on board with us instead of stowing it beneath the plane. I walked through the plane and tried to remember which overhead compartment I’d put my suitcase in. I heard the captain’s voice come over the speakers and announce we should take our seats and fasten our safety belts because it was going to be a rough landing. I really wanted to change before we landed. I would be so embarrassed if the captain saw my bruised neck. I ran up and down the aisles and I found my suitcase in the last compartment I opened. I didn’t bother to go into the bathroom. I threw my suitcase on the floor and pulled out the first turtleneck I could find. It didn’t match with my leggings that well, but it was the best I could do at that moment. I slipped off my V-neck and pulled the turtleneck over my head. I tossed my V-neck in the suitcase. Trevor rushed to my aid as the plane started to shake.

“Giavanna, let me put this away. You go sit down and buckle your safety belt.” I quickly did as told. My ears popped as I felt us start to descend. Trevor joined me after a few moments. “I hate flying in the winter. It’s always rough.” Trevor grabbed my hand.

“I know. That’s why I typically avoid it. But I really wanted to be with you for Christmas, so a little turbulence wasn’t going to stop me.”

“You’re the best.” Trevor kissed the back of my hand and gazed into my eyes. “I want you to know you make me very happy.”

“You make me happy too Trevor.”

  Chapter 4

IT TOOK CLOSE to forty minutes to land the plane safely, and Trevor and I held hands in silence the whole way. It took us over an hour and a half to get to Cleveland because of the weather, and we lost an hour due to the time change. I really hoped that we would have time to shower and change before the game. I didn’t know how long of a ride it was to Trevor’s parent’s place. Trevor had reserved a town car for us. I eagerly guzzled down the complimentary Figi water as soon as we pulled away from the airport.

“Trevor, do you think we’ll have time to shower and change before the game?”

“Yeah, I think so, as long as my parents don’t try to talk us to death. My mom is quiet and reserved, but my dad is pretty talkative. He’s a cool guy, but sometimes he has so much energy it exhausts me.”

“Really Trevor? You’ve got to be kidding.” I smiled and shook my head.

“What?” Trevor gave me a quizzical look.

“All I’m saying is the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.”

  “Whatever,” Trevor laughed.

“My parents have multiple bathrooms so there should definitely be enough time and space to get ready. But whatever you do, just please make sure that my mother doesn’t see your neck okay?”

  “Okay.”

  “Promise?”

“Yeah, of course I promise! How embarrassing would that be if she asked me what happened. Why yes, Mrs. Dunaway your son ravished me on his private jet.” I laughed.

“Point taken.” Trevor joined in my laughter. I loved when we were able to laugh together.

I enjoyed riding through Shaker Heights in a town car as I admired all of the beautiful homes. Shaker was one of my favorite Cleveland suburbs. There were lots of historic mansions and beautiful landscaping. The real estate here had class and character. I was curious to see Trevor’s parents’ house. I knew it was nice from the way he described it. It was kind of creepy how much I knew about Trevor’s parents without even meeting them. Trevor had only told me very little, but I used to follow his career in the media. I’ve read almost every Trevor Dunaway article ever published. Before he was my boyfriend I perceived him to be one of the most intriguing public figures in the media. Drop-dead gorgeous, mysterious, insanely talented, and successful, Trevor was a media magnet. And his eccentricity made him the tabloid industry’s wet dream. Although Trevor seemed complex, and sometimes dark, his family was ridiculously normal from everything I’ve read about them. They seemed to be down-to-earth, albeit very high-achieving, regular people. Trevor’s father, Heath Dunaway, was a world-renowned heart surgeon at The Cleveland Clinic, and his mother was a senior partner at Jones Day, Cleveland’s largest law firm. They were well-respected, well-off and highly-admired. Okay, so maybe they weren’t normal, perhaps they were extraordinary. They had been married thirty-six years, and they raised one of the most successful men in the country. Aside from one statement about how they wished Trevor would have become a classical musician instead of a rock star, they seemed very supportive and loving.

We pulled into a winding driveway that led to a gorgeous brick mansion. The Dunaway home reminded me of a castle. Their choice of real estate was quite fitting for their status. The driver helped Trevor and me out of the vehicle before grabbing our suitcases and leading the way up the cobblestone walkway. Trevor rang the doorbell.

“I have the key but I don’t want to just barge in,” Trevor explained.

“That’s kind of you to ring the bell.” Trevor smiled. An overweight lady with dyed red hair answered the door, wearing a light-blue blouse and an apron. She was short, with a round face and beady eyes. She had to be in her late fifties or early sixties. She didn’t look anything like Trevor. I had read quotes from Trevor’s family, but I had never seen pictures of them. I heard around that they refused to be photographed because they didn’t want to be recognized in public. I had no idea if the rumors were true. I didn’t know what Trevor’s mother looked like, but the woman standing at the door couldn’t be her.

“Hello Mr. Dunaway. Your mother told me she was expecting you. And this must be your girlfriend, Miss…?”

Oh, she must work for the Dunaways. “Johnson, but you can just call me Giavanna.”

“Nice to meet you miss. Come inside, let me take your bags.” The portly woman took our bags from our driver. Trevor tipped the driver and led me inside.

“Thanks for getting the door Margaret,” I heard a woman’s voice call from a few rooms away. “Trevor hunny, I’ll be right there in a moment — I’m on the phone. Your father should be here somewhere. Did you bring your girlfriend?”

“Yes mom, she’s here, her name is Giavanna.”

  “Hi Mrs. Dunaway,” I called.

“Hi dear, I will be with you two in a second.”

“No problem mother,” Trevor called as I heard Mrs. Dunaway resume her conversation on the phone.

An attractive older man with salt and pepper hair, grey eyes and a square jaw came down the stairs. He was wearing a white and navy polo shirt and dark slacks. He was han
dsome and vibrant. He had to be Trevor’s dad.

“My boy!” the older man exclaimed as he practically leapt from the stairs and enveloped Trevor in a bear hug. “How have you been Mr. Billionaire? Been too busy to catch up with your old man I see.”

“Dad, come on now. You know it’s not like that. With the time difference and your busy schedule, it’s hard to keep in touch, doctor.” Trevor winked.

“Sure, put it all on me.” Dr. Dunaway chuckled. “You are right about one thing though. I am working a lot of hours lately. One of our surgeons retired and they haven’t found anyone to replace him yet, so I’m always in the operating room. Unfortunately, I’ll be on call on Christmas, but I’m off today and Christmas Eve.”

“It’s okay Dad I know you have lives to save. I’m glad you were able to pencil me in today.” Trevor smiled and playfully patted his dad’s bicep. Wow, Dr. Dunaway is in really great shape for an older guy. I blushed as I caught myself checking out Trevor’s dad. He made eye contact with me and smiled. He must have felt me staring at him.

“And you must be Giavanna? Trevor has told me nothing but good things about you.”

“Yes. Nice to meet you, Dr. Dunaway. Thanks for having me in your home.”

“Oh thank you for coming. And you can call me Heath.” Heath extended his hand. I looked him in the eye and gave him a firm handshake. “Whoa, young lady! That’s quite the handshake you got there. You must work out.”
