Straight Up Irish (Murphy Brothers)

Page 24

by Magan Vernon

Everything between us had been a leap of faith. Something neither of us could have predicted. But now, even with the craziness, I was happy to be swaying in the middle of the pub in my husband’s arms as our families watched.

There was nowhere I’d rather be forever. For always.

  Acknowledgments

After so many books written, you’d think I’d know what I’m doing in the publishing world. If anything, I’ve learned that it definitely takes a village, a tribe if you will, to make a book happen.

The idea for the brothers came to me while scrolling through social media, and I’m so glad I had Angel Justice, Emersyn Vallis, and Michelle Dare to ramble my idea off to.

A HUGE shout out to my agent, Stephanie Phillips, for always believing in me and knowing this story would be something special.

Candace Havens, my editor, who took a chance on this author and my world and helped to make me, and this story, better than I ever thought possible.

Michelle Mc Loughney, thank you for all of your helps with all things Irish. I think I owe you a pint, or twenty.

Kelly Viel, my alpha reader, who has helped with every single book I’ve written, but this one you really helped me nail. I also sort of wish Landon was a girl so you could have named him Fallon.

To the entire crew at Entangled from the publishers, cover designers, copy editors, publicists, and everyone else who didn’t think my ideas or my platform were too crazy.

Holly and Team #Olicity and all of the tweets pushing me forward with this idea.

#FEELTHEVERN the best reader group ever, thank you for following me no matter what curve balls my publishing schedule throws at you.

My husband, Tim aka Twothy, my writing career and life wouldn’t be the same without you. Thank you for taking the girls to cheer when I had to stay up for late night editing and making sure the dog and kids were fed. I don’t know what I did in life to find a husband like you, but I thank my lucky charms every day that you’re mine.

And finally, to my girls. Through all of my crazy deadlines, ups and downs, I love that you can watch me go for my dreams and catch them. I want you to know that no matter what happens in life, if you work hard enough, you can make your dreams come true.

  Cinderella and the Geek

a British Bad Boys novel by Christina Phillips

I’m not looking for love or a Happily-Ever-After because I know how that ends. I just need to concentrate on my degree and look after myself. But there’s something about my boss, Harry, I can’t resist. It’s crazy since he’s so hot and smart it should be illegal. But I’m off to pursue my dreams, and he’s taking his business to the next level. There’s no way this fairytale has a happy ending, but that doesn’t keep me from wishing for it.

But none of that matters if they can’t survive the mountain.

The closer we get, the more I want Brooklyn, but she’s the last girl I should be fantasizing about.
