Tiger Shark

There’s a kitchen to the left and a lounge and dining area in front of us. The second level juts out like a balcony hanging over the massive room. Adjacent to the sitting room are sliding doors set into the glass. I walk over and open them, stepping out onto a balcony that wraps around the side of the building. Patio furniture is scattered around the space, as well as a small bar and barbeque grill.

That view, though. I can see the Burj Al Arab standing proudly on its peninsula. Dubai stretches out beneath us on one side, and the turquoise ocean and white beach on the other. I grip the metal railing that lines the balcony, running my hands over the brushed steel.

“Do you like it?” Landon says, coming up behind me and scooping the hair off my neck. I don’t think I ever really realised at this point just how rich Landon is. Dubai is one of the most expensive countries in the world, and he’s living at the top of it. His lips press against the side of my throat as his hands cover mine on the railing. I close my eyes, tilting my head to the side and allowing him more access.

“I love it.” I turn around, wrapping my arms around his neck. “I love you.” And it’s true. Somewhere along the line, he became a necessary part of me, something I didn’t even know I needed, but I do. And from the moment he walked into my office declaring that he had given up half of everything for this, for me, for us…I think that was the moment I fell unequivocally in love with Landon Banks. His hands trail up my back, and I hear the slow lowering of a zip. “How much?” He lifts a brow, that cocky smile making its way onto his beautiful face.

He dips down, grabbing the hem of my dress and pulling it all the way up my body before discarding it on one of the nearby sofas. “How much?” He repeats, his lips brushing over mine as his hands move over my body slowly, his fingertips eliciting tingles of sensation. The setting sun beats against my back, contrasting with the cool air that’s billowing from inside the air conditioned penthouse.

“A lot.” I admit, pressing my lips to his. He releases my bra with a deft flick of his wrist, nipping at my bottom lip as he throws it somewhere off to the side.

  “Good.” Good? Really?

He takes a step back and then that crazy bastard gets on one knee, pulling a box from his pocket. “Oh my god, what are you doing?” I blurt.

“Well, I got you naked because you’re less of a bitch when you’re naked.” He grins.

“Oh, my god.” I cover my face with my hands.

“I love you too, kitten. Marry me.” It’s not even a question so much as an order, so very Landon.

He hasn’t long been divorced for fucks sake! “Landon…you’re being ridiculous.”

He holds up a hand, silencing me. “This isn’t complicated, Georgia. This is you and me. And outside these walls, everyone else is the enemy, but we’re allies, in everything. I will always have your back.” He always knows just what to say. “I love you. It’s just that simple.” Black and white. This is black and white. Love doesn’t have shades of grey because you’re in, or you’re out, there is no halfway house, no get out clause or rules. It just is.

  “Okay.”

He laughs and tips his head forward. “You’re supposed to say yes.”

I roll my eyes. “Fine. Yes. Now will you get up?”

He smiles wide as he gets up and opens the box, handing me the ring which is a monster sapphire, the stone a rich royal blue. I slide it on my finger, and it looks…right. Without warning he bends down, grabbing me and launching me over his shoulder.

“What are you doing now?” I shriek. He slaps my arse, and I yelp.

“Fucking my fiancé’s sweet arse like I promised.” He goes back inside and starts walking up the stairs to the second level.

  “Wow. So romantic.”

He laughs. “You love it.” I do. And I love him.

Landon Banks always has and always will be a force of nature to me. Some people walk into your life while others tear through it like an F5 tornado, ripping long buried foundations out of the ground and sending everything spinning in a vortex of such power that all you can do is stand back and watch. Well, I’m watching, and I can’t wait to see where Landon takes me next.

  The End

  Thank you!

Writing a book is never easy, but without you, it would be pointless. Thank you for reading and thank you for taking a chance on weird British ginger.

I hope that you loved Georgia and Landon as much as I do. I’ll openly admit that this is a book I’ve wanted to write for a while because I have a serious strap-on fetish. Georgia is totally my kind of chick.

If you would be amazingly kind and leave a review, I would be so grateful. Leg humps would be owed.

There are so many people to thank for helping me with Tiger Shark, so here it goes.

I think my biggest thanks has to go to Stevie J. Cole. This girl is my best friend, the other half of me. I couldn’t live without her. She’s there for every decision, every rough patch, every mental breakdown and if there is such a thing as a soul mate, then I think she’s mine. So thank you boo for all your support, in everything. If I could grow a peen and marry you, I would!

Heather Roberts of Butterfly PR, my publicist and part-time fairy godmother. Girl, you are the shit. Thank you for everything that you do.

Big thanks to Cassy Roop for not only designing such a beautiful cover but for being an amazing friend.

Thank you to Tessi Conquest for being my Georgia, the tiger shark herself. You rocked it like no one else could. I love you!

And of course, Golden Czermak of Furious Fotog. You took an awesome picture, and the edit was shit hot. I had to have it! So thank you for my secret British boo.

Thanks to my lovely formatter, Leigh Stone, for making this book look so pretty and professional.

Sarah-Jane: You are the best, best, best PA a girl could want, and an awesome friend. And your tits are amazing.

Thanks to Kim Ginsberg for your awesome proof reading.

Huge thanks to Kerry Fletcher, Marika Nespoli and Michaela Duarte for all your pimping and sharing. I love you, girls!

There are so many blogs and individuals who have helped me along the way, and you are all hugely appreciated. There are a couple though who I just want to give a mention to.

Give Me Books and One-Click Addicts. I love you girls, and I couldn’t do this without you. Mummy Kylie, organisation queen and actual fucking goddess, thank you for your awesome PR and your ongoing support. You’re a star, and no one else can do what you do. Also, thanks to Missy and Devlynn for your fierce loyalty and your willingness to always help.

Jenny and Gitte of Totally Booked, you girls, are just amazing. Thank you so much for all your help with several of mine and Stevie’s books. I love you girlies!

Schmexy Jen: I love that you love my accent so much. It makes me feel special.

There are so, so many people who have helped me, and you know who you are.

I hope I haven’t missed anyone. Just know that anyone who has ever written a review, posted a teaser, or read any of my books...Thank you. Your ongoing support means the world.
