Colton pulled away from the kiss before his cock popped out of his jeans. “Stop,” he gasped in a ragged whisper. “I’m going to come just from kissing you. What was that for? Not that I’m complaining.” He moved over in the booth so Alex could sit next to him.

“It’s because I love you and I missed you today and last night…again.” He gave him a pointed look before draping an arm over his shoulder. Colton grasped the hand by his shoulder, entwining their fingers.

“I’m sorry, but I can’t help it. It’s almost done, I swear.” He knew his disappearances during the night were grating on Bleu and Alex, but being with them was so inspiring he couldn’t hold himself back. Also he had been rapidly revamping the design ever since their relationship had solidified.

“And will Bleu and I get to see whatever it is when it’s done?”

“Maybe.” He smiled coyly, not denying that he loved teasing them about his project.

“Maybe…you drive me crazy.” Alex growled nipping Colton’s bottom lip. “I have a surprise for you and Bleu, once she gets here. She was supposed to be here an hour ago.” Alex looked over at the door for any sign of their blue-haired imp.

“She gets caught up at work a lot…like someone else I know. I hear that happens when you own your own business.”

The implied statement flew right over Alex’s head. “She takes on too much. The hospital asked her to lead another group, this time of children whose parents are undergoing rehab.” Alex pulled out a piece of paper with the details of the job.

“Shouldn’t a trained child psychologist be heading something like that?” Colton asked, reading the description.

“They said they’ll have one on hand but not every week. These are underprivileged kids with no way to pay for sessions with a professional therapist, ya know? The hospital will pay for the rent and provide Bleu with a small stipend—”

“Probably nothing more than gas money,” Colton said.

“Exactly. But they’ve seen how she interacts with the kids when she volunteers at the children’s ward. Did you know she did that by the way? Because I sure as fuck didn’t.”

“How did you find all this out?” he asked in wonderment at all the things Bleu does to help others.

Alex grinned, no doubt thinking of the Smurfette. “She left her phone at home and I answered it. They gave me all the details to give to her.”

“Wait, so she doesn’t even know about this yet?”

“I called her at the shop and told her,” he said shaking his head and taking the paper back from Colton, who couldn’t help but smile at Alex’s slip.

“She left her phone at home, huh?” Colton asked, eyebrows raised.

Alex sat up straighter in the booth. “I didn’t mean—well I did but…I mean of course I want you guys to think of my place as home, but I wouldn’t want to pressure you into anything. I mean we’ve only been ‘together together for a little over a week—”

“Stop.” Colton emphasized his command with a kiss. “I’m glad you said it, because I’ve been thinking it.”

  “Thinking…”

“That I can bring some more clothes over and some other stuff for a while?”

“Just a while?” Alex asked, brushing a stray lock off of Colton’s forehead. His hands were roughened with a chef’s calluses and the feeling was simply delicious. “I was hoping for more than a while.”

  “Maybe.”

“I’m starting to hate that word coming from you.” His tone was annoyed but there was a smile on his sexy lips.

The front door clanged open bringing in a whirlwind of snow and cold. Bleu’s crazy hair was flowing free and blowing in the wind around her petite frame. She looked like she’d been caught in a blue and teal spider’s web. Her numerous bags dropped on the floor along with a grunt of frustration. In a familiar movement, she checked to make sure no one was behind her, bent at her waist to let her hair fall over her head and then whipped it back over as she straightened.

“How is it possible for her to be so silly and so sexy at the same time?” Alexis asked, eyes at half mast and biting his bottom lip.

“No clue, but I am right there with you. All that hair, I just want to wrap it around my hands and hold it like reigns as I fuck her.” He groaned as Alexis reached over with a wicked grin and palmed Colton’s obviously hard cock under the table. “Can you leave early tonight so we can fuck her into oblivion?”

“No.” Alexis laughed, taking pity on Colton and removing his hand. “That’s what I wanted to talk to you both about.” He looked over to see Bleu let out another frustrated grunt as a customer opened the door to leave, making her hair blow all over the place once more. “I can’t stand this. Let’s go help her.”

They left the booth, both grinning like madmen and trying to contain their laughter at the hilarious entertainment Bleu was providing for the diner’s occupants. The staff were also snickering here and there, more than familiar with her inelegant antics. Alexis grabbed her hips from behind to steady her as Colton gathered her hair and pushed it back over her head, twisting the curly strands together so they wouldn’t blow away if the door opened again. She pouted in frustration as her eyes focused on Colton.

“You look like Cousin It with blue hair,” Colton said, pushing the flyaway strands back.

“Except hotter,” Alexis said, leaning over her shoulder and laughing at her disgruntled frown. He gently tipped her chin in his direction and kissed the frown away. “Hi, beautiful. How was your day?”

She blew out a puff of air before saying, “Insane.” Colton turned her back around to give her a kiss hello as he took her bags from the floor. “Hi. Thanks.” She turned back to Alex and pointed at her stomach. “Feed me please?”

“Ha, sure, babe.” They led her over to their booth.

“So what’s the good word?” She sat, Alex motioning for Colton to sit next to her. He raised his eyebrows at the request but draped his hand over Bleu’s shoulders much like Alex had done with him before.

“Well, Colt was just telling me how he loves the both of us and would die if we all couldn’t live together.”

“That was not what I was saying…even though it’s the absolute truth. All I said was I’ve been thinking of moving some of my stuff over to Alex’s place for now.”

“Yes, please,” she said, nodding fervently. “You live too far from your office anyway.”

  “And you?” Alex asked expectantly.

  “And me?”

“C’mon. I want you in my bed every night. I want all your femmy products in my bathroom. Tampons and makeup included. And you know you can’t resist my French doors.”

She stared at him for a second before responding. “I don’t think you realize that I’ve already brought like two suitcases worth of clothes over and stashed them in that hall closet you don’t use for anything. So I pretty much live there already. I’m just waiting for my lease to end before I move everything else out.”

“Ah.” Alex opened and closed his mouth a few times, not knowing what to say. “No…I really didn’t notice that.”

“Typical man. Now feed me and make me a copy of all the keys to your place so I don’t have to keep using the hidden one.”

“At least the hungry monster is polite,” Alex said, leaning over the table to kiss her. “Tell me what you want and I’ll put the order in.”

  “You’re not gonna make it?”

“It will be just as good if the other guys make it, I promise. I need to talk to you both.” His eyes flicked over to the coffee bar briefly then back to them. Colton followed his gaze, not seeing anything other than Daniela pouring coffee for the group of people still sitting there. Bleu and Colton gave him their orders and he went to the machine at the coffee bar to send it to the kitchen, chatting with Daniela and the customers as he worked.

“Something is weird,” Colton murmured against her temple, squeezing her closer.

“I know,” she replied, wrapping her arm around him and briefly
burying her face in his neck. He felt her lips whisper over his skin, sending chills down his spine, before she looked up at him. “Does he seem nervous to you?”

“A little. I mean this is the first time all three of us are showing any PDA in the diner together.”

“No, I think it’s more than that.” Bleu looked quickly over at Alex before turning back to Colton. “So how was your day, dear?”

“Ha. Well, sugar lips, my day was just peachy and slightly better than insane.”

She smiled and leaned in for a sweet, suckling kiss. “I missed you both today. There were so many moments I wanted to do just this.”

  “What?”

“Just have my guys hold me.”

And that right there was what made this relationship worth the potential fallout with his family that he faced. To be wanted, needed, and loved by these two wondrous people was worth a whole lot of heartache. Colt would do anything to keep them. “What happened to make your day so insane?”

“I’ll tell you both when we get home later, but let me just say it was a doozy.”

“Doozy? I haven’t heard anybody use that term since the eighties and it was already dated by then.” They turned to see an older woman, probably in her late sixties, with a cane standing at the edge of the booth, staring at them with one eyebrow quirked. She had curling salt and pepper hair that rested just above her chin. She wore a loosely fitted, flowing caftan and a beautifully embroidered shawl. Her face and eyes were weathered with wear and age, but Colton could tell by the clever smirk that her age didn’t make her any less sharp.

Bleu smiled at the woman in that all-encompassing welcoming way she had. “Well, we are children of the eighties, so hopefully you’ll give us a pass for the dated vocabulary.”

The woman smiled at Bleu. “I like your hair, girl. May I sit?” She didn’t wait for an answer before sliding into the opposite side of the booth. “I’ve been looking for a little company today and you two look like a lovely couple.”

“Of course.” Bleu gestured unnecessarily, giving Colton an amused grin. “And thanks for the compliment but we are only two thirds of a relationship.”

Colton was amazed at her ease in telling people they were a trio. She sounded so proud of them, it warmed his heart and inspired him to join in. “Yes, we’re missing our more culinary-skilled third.”

The woman’s thin eyebrows shot to her hairline in surprise. “Three, huh?” She narrowed her eyes. “Man or woman?”

“Another man, and, yes, he and I are together as well,” Colton said, joining Bleu in throwing caution to the wind.

She nodded, keeping a steady gaze on Colton. He felt like he was in the principal’s office getting drilled. “You sound very proud of this sort of relationship.”

“We’re all in love with each other.” Bleu shrugged like it was nothing. “It’s unconventional but there’s no other option we would ever consider.”

“You can never really marry each other,” the woman pointed out, eyebrow arched. Those eyebrows had their own language. “Unless one of you decided it would be OK to be left out.”

“No,” Bleu said firmly. “That’s not an option. But we can have a commitment ceremony in front of our friends and families. That would be enough for me.”

“Really?” Colton asked, slightly nervous at the thought of claiming Alex and Bleu in front of his family and friends, which warred with how absolutely satisfying it would be at the same time.

“Yeah, wouldn’t you want to do that?”

“I think we need to talk about this when Alex gets back.” His eyes flickered to the woman and back to Bleu. “And when we’re alone.”

“How long have y’all been an item?” she asked, oblivious to how awkward Colton was feeling about this bizarre woman inviting herself over and poking her nose in their business.

“Officially just a week,” Bleu supplied. “But we’ve known each other for a few months.”

“Mm hmm…and how much do y’all make at your jobs?”

“Excuse me?” Colton asked, about to cut this interrogation off.

“Aunt Anna!” They turned to see Alex with a few plates of food balanced in his hands, his eyes trained on the feisty elderly woman. “You can’t ask them things like that.”

“Why not? These are the so-called loves of your life according to Vicky and Daniela. I want to make sure they can provide for you.”

Alexis rolled his eyes before placing the food on the table.”Aunt Anna, I can provide for myself as you can clearly see.”

“Aunt?” Bleu asked with a more than comical gulp.

“Uh, yes,” Alexis said, remembering his manners. “Aunt Anna, this is Colton Evans and Bleu Leroux. Guys, this is my beautiful and inspirational Aunt Annabelle.”

Bleu and Colton rushed to stand and respectfully shake the hand of the woman who raised their lover and saved him from a childhood full of horrors.

“It’s such an honor to meet you, ma’am,” Bleu said, helping Alex arrange the food on the table.

“Oh please, call me Aunt Anna. Even my children call me Aunt Anna.” She grinned sarcastically at Alex. “Little shits. You’re included in that sentiment, Alexis, so get that that grin off your face.”

“Yes, Aunt Anna,” he said, not bothering to stop smiling.

“Sit, I’m keeping you from your meal.”

“I made you something special, too, A,” Alex said, sitting next to Anna and pushing a large slice of pie in front of her.

“I hate that nickname,” she grumbled as she picked up her fork.

Alexis laughed, clearly at ease around his beloved Aunt. “You tell us to call you Aunt Anna but then you call me a little shit for it and then won’t let me give you a nickname? You are a mystery, person who raised me.”

“It keeps them on their feet.” She winked at Bleu before digging into the pie. “This sugar free?”

“I’m insulted. Of course it’s not,” Alexis scoffed, pilfering a cucumber from Bleu’s side salad since he knew she never ate them.

Anna turned back to Bleu and Colton. “Just because I’m old doesn’t mean I’m diabetic. I have amazing blood sugar and blood pressure and cholesterol. All that annoying crap the doctors harp on us about…it’s all bullshit. I’m close to seventy years old and I’m gonna eat what I wanna eat. “

  “Alex?” Colton said.

  “Yeah, man?”

“I’m sorry but I think I may have to leave you and Bleu for your Aunt because I’m already falling in love.”

Anna laughed. “Ooh, I like you. Alex said you were a charmer.” She turned to Bleu. “And how are you going to charm me, cookie monster?”

“I’m currently working out in my head how I can become you.”

Annabelle nodded before looking at Alex. “I like them. You did good, kid.”

“You’re really OK with all this?” Bleu asked, gesturing to the three of them.

Anna put down her fork, giving the situation some levity. She took Alex’s hand and cradled it in her two wrinkled ones. “I have never been known as a stick in the mud and when I was your age I was marching for women’s equality. Who am I to judge where my nephew finds love and with who? All I care is that he loves and is loved. He deserves the best kind of love and I expect you both to give that to him free of charge.”

Alexis leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. “I love you, Aunt Anna.”

“I love you, too, sweet boy.” They knocked foreheads affectionately and went back to their meal. Alexis’s contented smile lit a flame of joy in Colt’s soul. He loved seeing him so happy. At the same time, however, it also sparked a feeling of envy for the close and honest relationship he had with his aunt.

“You have a wonderful nephew,” Colton said, taking Bleu’s hand and reaching across the table with his other to grasp Alex’s. “He’s a good man. Bleu and I love him with all we are and we promise to take good care of him.”

“I know.” She patted his hand where it intertwined with Alexis’s. “Now,
as my Russian grandmother would say, shut up and yest. Eat!” And they did.

  * * * *

Alexis quirked his head to the side, gazing in wonder at how he could have missed that his previously empty closet was now brimming with clothes of the female variety. She had even put in little plastic drawers to hold her bras, socks, and underwear. He couldn’t help but open the underwear drawer and pull out a little lace pair of neon green boy shorts. Bleu looked amazing in boy shorts, especially the ones that showed just the bottom curve of her ripe ass cheeks. The next pair he pulled out was pretty much the opposite of the lace. It was a regular cotton, bikini-style underwear with pink skulls and black bows. It could be possible that this pair was even sexier than the lace.

“Looking through my panties, perv?” Bleu’s arms wrapped around his waist from behind. She nuzzled her face on his bare back and inhaled. “God I love how you guys smell.”

Alex held her arms in place over his stomach, taking a moment to just be with her. He felt her lips kiss his spine a few times before pulling away.

“How was your day, baby?” Alex asked.

  “Insane.”

“Yeah, Colton mentioned something to that effect. What happened?”

“Where is Colt? I want to tell you together. It’s pretty crazy.”

“Colt!” Alex called, holding her hand and waiting for Colt’s return call.

“I’m in the spare bedroom.” They heard him call from down the hall.

Alex grinned at Bleu and pulled her close, walking down the hall to their other lover. Colt was sprawled on his stomach, on the floor. A large pad of graph paper open in front of him, he was tracing lines with a red pencil. Every now and then he would look up and around the room, tapping the pencil on his lips in thought, then turn back to the paper and begin to draw again. Bleu let go of Alex’s hand and straddled Colt’s back before sitting at the base of his spine.
