Seduced: Den of Sin Boxed Set 1
Page 17
“This is…this is insane.”
“Not insane. Just a taste of what I can give you. I’d like to replace my fingers with something more.”
“Please.” Her legs trembled against his.
Travis thrust deeper. “Yes. I love it when you beg.”
“I can’t…I’m close,” she whispered.
“Hold it,” he commanded.
“What?”
“I want to hear your moans just a little while longer.” He buried his lips into the crook of her neck and sucked on her skin.
Her voice was seductive and persuasive and her moans sounded sweet and harmonic. He’d give anything to hear her screams of passion as he took her over and over again. He still couldn’t pinpoint it, but everything about her stirred some distant memory that he’d obviously buried deep down somewhere within him.
Her nails dug into his forearm and he felt her body grow stiff. He removed his fingers.
“What the—?” she panted.
Travis brought his wet fingers up to his lips and tasted her sweetness. Holy Hell, she was as sweet as honey. When he made eye contact once again, her mouth had fallen half open, her eyes were wide, and she was still panting, anticipating release.
“You and I have something in common. I love foreplay too. Lots of it.” He grabbed her hand and urged her quickly back into the main portion of the hotel.
The ballroom was too crowded and distracting to pass through. It would have taken too long to reach the elevator and he wanted her now, so he turned down nearest hallway and entered the first door he came upon.
He closed it and turned the lock. Without hesitation, he picked her up and sat her on the massage chair in the center of the room.
Her eyes were wide with surprise and blatant lust. “What you doing? This is the massage room.”
“I’ll do some massaging for sure.” He led her thighs onto his shoulders and kissed the sensitive flesh between them until his lips were centimeters away from her center.
He teased her through her panties at first, rubbing his chin against the damp fabric. Her taut clit protruded slightly against it and he stroked at her tenderly with his mouth. “Do you like this, Temptress?”
“I do.”
Travis slid the seat of her panties aside and blew on the petals of her pussy. When she arched upward in the massage chair, he captured her bud between his lips. He stroked tenderly at first, testing her out. He enjoyed the lovely sounds coming from her mouth just as equally as he enjoyed the taste of her.
Grabbing her by the waist, he tugged her closer. He devoured and plundered her with tongue and fingers, bringing her to the edge over and over again, but not letting her fall over it. Her body gave telltale signs of her pending release. He was so in tune with her, knowing when she wanted firmer strokes versus soft tugs. He liked it that way, knowing that he was in control. Her clit throbbed against his tongue while her legs trembled on his shoulders.
When it seemed that she finally couldn’t bear it any longer, he felt her body let go. She cried out loudly just once and then clamped her mouth shut. Her tender muscles squeezed tight and convulsed rapidly around his fingers. He indulged, helping himself to an ample taste of what he’d never had before.
On the outside of the room, the main event was still being held in the ballroom. For the first time since they’d entered the room, Travis listened to the sounds of sensual music and the chorus of conversations. It sounded as if more guests occupied the hotel now as they began to arrive and unwind for the long weekend. He was glad he’d found what he wanted, but now that he’d tasted her, Travis was hungry for more.
“You are wicked.” She slid her legs off his shoulders and sat up.
He couldn’t help it and he took her lips again in a kiss. She pressed her breasts against his chest and he could literally feel her nipples pebbling through the fabric of her dress. He had this strong urge to tear the clothes off her body and take her immediately.
No, not yet…
He wanted this to last. He had only one night to explore, take, and conquer this body. He had one night to know the woman who’d coaxed and seduced him with one scorching look from across a ballroom.
“You like foreplay too, huh?” she whispered while sliding off the chair until her feet landed on the floor.
“Lots of it,” he reminded her.
Travis’s breath hitched as she slid her delicate hands down the front of his pants. His cock grew painfully erect when she wrapped her fingers around him. She backed him into the adjacent wall and knelt before him.
“Very nice.” The Temptress pumped the hardened length of him in her palms, observing him and teasing the crown like he was a toy. “I think I’m going to like this.”
He groaned. “I know you will.”
Her warm soft tongue slid up the underside of his cock along the shaft and around the crown. Deft fingers played teasingly at his balls and encouraged them to fill almost instantly. She let go of the waistband of his pants and they fell to the floor in a bunch around his dress shoes. Her mouth felt like Heaven on Earth. Her hands pumped him with slow sure strokes. Her little pink tongue flicked in and out of her mouth and across his shaft. Soon his fingers were tangled in her hair, gripping the back of her head.
Travis was used to giving instructions but there was no need here. She pleased him like a pro. His mouth went dry as he uttered a few curses. Damn, he wished he knew her name instead.
His Temptress brought him to completion quickly, expertly taking him to the back of her throat as his orgasm roared through him. She milked him until there was nothing left and when she stood he caught sight of her tongue as it sliced between her sexy lips. There was not a drop of his seed anywhere on her mouth—only a trace of her berry red lipstick.
“Mmmm,” she purred.
He took either side of her waist, pulled her in, and crushed his lips to hers. She kissed him with what felt like purpose this time. If she’d had any reservations about him at first glance, hopefully they had faded by now. It seemed so. The way she rocked her hips against him told him that she wanted and needed something more than foreplay.
“We’re still trading clues, right?” he asked.
Soft fingers teased the nape of his neck. “We’ve got all night to collect more clues.”
Good for him. And good for her, he hoped. Not only did he want to indulge beyond their flirtatious foreplay, he needed to find out why he was so drawn to her on so many other levels.

The elevator bell chimed loudly as it came to a shaky halt on Kristina’s floor. Her heart jumped in alarm, but then Travis slipped his arm around her waist and her body warmed almost instantly.
“You okay?” he asked.
“Yeah.”
The doors parted open and another couple stood on the outside of it. The man and woman were dressed in tight black leather from head to toe. Their body and face piercings were also numerous, with silver loops hanging from lips and eyebrows, and in the man’s case—his nipples. The four of them exchanged brief glances just before trading places. This reminded her that they were all there for some naughty reason and to fulfill some wicked fantasy.
Kristina swallowed as the feeling of reluctance she’d had when she checked in earlier suddenly crept up on her again. It dawned on her that maybe she should have asked Travis why he was really here before letting her sexual cravings take over. She’d just assumed that by seeing two women drooling over him meant that he was the type of man to fantasize and indulge in ménages. Maybe he wasn’t a one-woman man in real life either. But who cared? She had only one night here. Why spend it worrying about consequences that may never come to fruition?
“I sense some hesitation,” Travis said, taking her by the hand and kneading her palm.
After their tryst in the massage chair, Kristina knew she had to have him. She licked her lips in remembrance of what she’d done to him. It seemed like forever that she had tasted a man, but she didn’t remember one tasting as good a
s Travis.
And only now was she thinking about the consequences of any pending actions. What had the invite advised her?
Leave all your inhibitions at the door…
She hadn’t left all of them at the door. Somehow they kept emerging to the surface. But she was here to let loose and indulge, just like Travis was. It helped that he didn’t remember her at all. In some ways, his lack of memory kind of offended her, but in other ways she was grateful for it. The old Kristina Delacourt was long gone. She worked hard to transform herself into who she was today. She didn’t want to reminisce on the past. Not now and not ever.
When it came to business and negotiating contracts, she would’ve allowed her skepticism to prevail. But tonight…not tonight. Tonight, she’d release the side that she hadn’t seen in a while. The side that took risks and dealt with the consequences—or rewards—later.
They were both here for some specific reason: to fulfill some need. She wouldn’t ruin this night for Travis and she definitely wouldn’t ruin it for herself.
“This is my first time,” she said, shyly. She might as well come clean about something.
“Coming here, you mean? We have yet another thing in common. It’s my first time too.”
Kristina stopped in front of her suite door. “Well, here’s my room.” She was ultra-nervous. She could hear the trembles in her own voice.
Travis turned her around to face him and then stroked the underside of her chin with his fingers. “Let’s take it slow. I’d appreciate that more, wouldn’t you?”
She nodded. He understood her hesitation and that meant a lot to her.
“What helps you relax? What do you do at the end of a stressful workday?”
“Take a cold shower,” she replied almost too quickly.
They laughed. She was happy to break the ice once again.
“What about a steaming bath?”
She smiled. “My room has a private hot tub.”
Once inside the room, Kristina turned on the lamps. The contents and her belongings were just the way she’d left it. She’d had a glass of ice water before sauntering down to the ballroom for the main event, but that was it. The California King bed was still made and the plush twin pillows were propped up against the headboard as if waiting for its occupant—or occupants.
“I haven’t quite made myself at home.” She gestured toward her suitcases. “I dressed for the party downstairs tonight and that was about it.”
“Same here. You have a lot of suitcases.” The curious look on his face was mixed with a tinge of amusement. “Three? A suitcase for each day maybe?”
“I was actually in town visiting my sister all last week. My invite sort of came out of the blue after I packed up my stuff and was prepared to leave New Orleans.” She plucked a couple of bottled waters from the mini fridge under the bar. “Less than eight hours after I complied with physician’s exam requirement, I got the official invite. I was literally on my way to the airport. I couldn’t remember which suitcase had what so I just brought them all inside. The bellhop assured me it wouldn’t be a problem for him.” She smiled and offered him a bottle. “Water?”
“Thank you.” He cracked the top and immediately guzzled down half of the bottle.
Her nipples tightened as she watched as he wrapped his sexy lips around the spout. His Adam’s apple bobbed with each swallow. His physique was perfection, just as it had been when she first met him.
“So your sister lives in New Orleans?” he asked.
“Actually, I was b—” Kristina stopped herself before it was too late. “Yes, my sister does live here.”
New Orleans was where she was raised. Puerto Rico was her birth home, but when her father got a job offer in the States, it had been the chance of a lifetime that her family had hoped for. They weren’t always an influential family but once they got back on their feet, things began to settle down. Her father opened his own law firm, her mother became a homemaker, and the rest was history. Kristina and her twin sister, Kandace, were just six years old at the time of their move. After all those years, her father’s hardworking values were still very much deep-rooted within her.
“I was here for my brother’s wedding when I got my invite. His fiancé is a New Orleans native as well.”
“What a coincidence.”
“Coincidence, indeed.” He cleared his throat. “We’ll miss the dinner portion of the party. It begins in about fifteen minutes. How about we relax a bit in that hot tub you’re speaking about and call for room service instead?”
“Sounds like a plan.”
***
“I’m glad you suggested this,” Kristina said. “I’m feeling better already.”
The room smelled nice as the candles surrounding them burned brightly providing them with the only source of light within the room. The water was steaming hot and gave off aromas that reminded her of a tropical oasis with hints of lavender and gardenia scents.
“So am I.” Travis shifted in the tub reached across the granite surface to refill their champagne glasses. “For a moment there I thought you had given up on me.”
“And if I had I’m sure you would do fine without me. You’re a very attractive man and I think you know that. You had two women wrapped around your finger. Why would you give that up?”
Kristina accepted the glass and then sank deeper into the water so that only her shoulders were visible. Despite this, his stare still seemed to penetrate her core.
“I can’t really pinpoint what I experienced when I first noticed you, but you’re an extremely attractive woman yourself and you know that, I’m sure,” he replied, elegantly. “You looked so poised and beautiful. I love my women to radiate confidence and I saw that in you. It might be against the rules here, but I had this urge to know you inside and out.”
She blushed.
“Tell me something?” he asked.
“It depends on what you want to know, but go on. Shoot.”
“Why did you keep your body covered with the robe until you were completely emerged in the water?”
An uneasy feeling gripped her at his unexpected question. She took a sip of champagne, rolling the cool, crisp beverage around her tongue weighing her next set of words. “I guess I didn’t notice.”
“You noticed. You caught my eye and then turned away so I couldn’t see you.”
“Really…” She shrugged. “You’re making too much out of it.”
“Am I?”
“I think so. Given the circumstances…we’ve agreed to indulge each other just for one night. Despite your kind words and intentions, I hardly think you’re really interested in what my entire body looks like.”
“Hmmm.” He frowned and the inner corners of his eyebrows merged downward as though he were in deep thought. “You’re wrong. I’m invested in you enough to know you completely even if we decide it’s just for one night.”
“Why focus on what’s on the outside?”
“You’re beautiful on the outside. Despite what I see as physical perfection, you hold yourself well. But the moment you dropped your robe…your demeanor changed.”
“I didn’t notice.” She shrugged again. “And I’m far from physical perfection.”
“I bet you have men lined up at your front and back door wherever you call home. I mean, are you really serious?” He chuckled a bit. “You would put some high fashion models to shame. What are you afraid of? And all jokes aside, if I thought you were an ugly person on the inside I don’t think we’d be here talking.”
“I haven’t always looked like this.” The cat was out of the bag now for the most part. He’d hit the nail right on the head. She hadn’t shared her body with another man in almost two years. Of course, she’d feel uneasy.
“What do you mean?”
“I haven’t always been a size six.”
His gaze roamed over her—at least of what he could see of her. She retained her panties in the hot tub, but other than that she was completely exposed to him.
What has your size got to do with anything?”
She swallowed. “I just thought…well, I don’t know what I thought.”
“I’m not certain where you’re from but from where I come from and the family I grew up in, size has never been a measure of beauty or abilities.”
She sighed and dropped her hands in her face. “I’m so embarrassed. This is coming out all wrong.”
His thighs brushed against hers. “Don’t be. I should be apologizing. It’s just that I’m curious about you.”
“I’ve dealt with image and weight issues all my teenage life. Unfortunately size does matter to some people. Small-brained people. But criticism affected me nonetheless.” She sighed. “About two years ago, I had a major wakeup call and I finally sat down and thought about what I wanted for myself. I realigned my long-term goals and took control of my life. Part of that process included improving my health. I shed lots of weight in the process. Both from my body and from my life.”
He smiled. “I see. I’m beginning to understand your motive and your actions. You’re strong woman. I know it’s forbidden and that I’m a stranger, but you have my word—I’m not a sociopath. And if you’re not ready, I understand.” His Adam’s apple bobbed again and he cleared his throat nervously. “My name is Travis.”
Kristina had never felt so guilty in her life. The man was opening up and he didn’t really have to. She’d known all along who he was, and obviously he’d had more of an impact on her when she first met him in the boardroom than she had on him. Wouldn’t he have remembered her? Wouldn’t he have remembered the heavy set chick and her crew who talked his company out of a clause in a construction contract that probably cost him close to a million dollars? Obviously he hadn’t seen past her size then…
“Call me Kris,” she told him anyway.
“Kris. With a K?”
“Exactly. Like the K you saw on my ankle bracelet.”
“Beautiful. I’m beginning to understand you a little more. Our clue trading session has really begun now, so let me tell you a little something about me.”
“Fair enough.”
“In a sense, you remind me of myself. I have an abundance of people in my life who only see my money and even fewer people surround me that see beyond my money,” he said. “Sometimes I wish that I could be a normal person whose family, net worth, and company aren’t so well known. I’m in a constant battle trying to figure out the motives of those in my life right now. So when I meet people now, I’m not as upfront as I normally would be about my career or my wealth. I have no steady girlfriend for this reason.” He shrugged. “Even in my past, my lovers complained that I was never stable and never in town. There was a point in my life where I couldn’t keep a steady lover and build my book of business at the same time. So I chose the latter. I’m having to re-evaluate some of this as I get older and have begun to delegate certain aspects of the operations during our expansion mode.”
