“Again, I recommend we just go along with things the way they are now,” Gabriel said before taking a bite of his sandwich. “Damn, this sandwich is good.”

Gabriel picked up the tab for lunch on his way out. He had to get back for a meeting. Constantine stayed behind.

“I know Gabriel’s been our leader from the beginning, but I can’t wrap my head around what he’s scared of. I’m not asking him to commit to Melody, but I think we need to treat her more like a girlfriend. I want her to meet my parents. They’re going to be thrilled.”

“Mine, too,” Constantine said before he laughed. “They never thought my sister would get married first.”

“I just want mine to stop trying to set us all up,” Jonathan made a face. “Every time I go home, they have someone they think we should meet. I’m tired of it.”

“They mean well. They just can’t understand why we didn’t find someone within our own group. I mean the community houses over three thousand families. You would have thought we would have found someone we all wanted. So, now we have and you’re anxious. I understand, but Gabriel’s got a sense about things. I trust his judgment.”

“I trust him, too. I guess what’s really important is that we find out if Melody is everything we think she is before we get too serious with her. The only problem is I’m serious about her already.”

“I know. I am, too, and I’m pretty sure Gabriel’s head over heels for her just like we are. He’s just being cautious, and that’s not a bad way to be.”

“I know you’re right,” Jonathan said as he pushed himself away from the table. “But when it comes to love, there are no guarantees.”

That night after they had made love to Melody, he went back to her room with her. Gabriel and Constantine had left The Chamber and gone to their own rooms. He knew that was the norm, but he couldn’t bear to sleep without her tonight. She had looked sad when they had kissed good night.

He had carried her into her room and into the bathroom where he had run a bath for her and himself. She had moaned so sweetly and felt so good beneath his touch when he had washed her with the scented soap. Her head now rested against his shoulder. She lifted her lips to his. He found himself becoming aroused and without a word he picked her up and carried her wet, naked body back to The Chamber. He threw her onto the bed with a silk black sheet covering the mattress.

“Spread your legs,” he ordered. He wanted to taste her very core.

But before he began, he took each of her ankles and placed them in the restraints at the end of the bed. He did the same to her wrists that he pulled above her head.

Her breasts were pronounced and her nipples were hard. He went to a drawer that was built into the wall and pulled out a couple of clothes pins. He wanted to see them clipped to those succulent nipples.

He watched her watching him as he took each clothespin and affixed it to her ready nipples. She gasped as they tightened. She didn’t ask him to take them off. He smiled, pleased with her.

She had become wild with her need and begged him to take her. He lightly spanked her pussy before inserting his cock into her wet and needy pussy. She cried out his name as he fucked her over and over until she was full of his seed. When he slipped his cock from inside of her, she looked at him with sleepy but satisfied eyes. She scooped his cum from her pussy, and he watched as she licked her fingers clean. God, how she turned him on.

They fell asleep in each other’s arms. When he woke, she was still sleeping. He couldn’t take his eyes off the most beautiful and loving woman he had ever known. Regardless of Gabriel’s caution, he knew she was destined to be theirs forever.

She opened her eyes and smiled. “You slept with me all night,” she murmured. “It felt so good to have you here.”

“We’ve all slept with you before. It just gets a little crowded with four of us.”

“I know. But I don’t mind.” She smiled and reached for his semi-hard cock. “Jonathan,” she teased, “are you trying to tell me something?”

“You finally noticed.” He couldn’t help but hug her tighter. “You know I can’t be near you naked and not want you. Another reason why we have to sleep in our own rooms. We’d never sleep.”

She laughed. The sound was young and carefree and made him desire her even more. He took her quickly. She was so wet and ready for him. He loved her completely and without reservation. He truly couldn’t get enough of her. She opened so easily for him. She cried out when she orgasmed, her whole body shaking uncontrollably along with his own. He rested on top of her, careful not to crush her with his weight. She felt so good beneath him. When all three of them took her together, it was even more wonderful. Nothing compared to the feeling of oneness and happiness that came from such an intense experience.

“What am I going to do with you, Melody?” He asked. “You make me want to quit my job and stay home with you all day. I would use you morning, noon, and night and still not have enough.”

“Oh, Jonathan. You are so sweet, and having you like this means everything to me. You each bring something so unique and wonderful into my life. How could I be so lucky? Kiss me, please.”

If he could have kissed her from the inside out, he would have. She brought him more happiness than he had ever thought would be his. He wanted her to know how much she meant to him. However, as Gabriel had said, sometimes too much too soon wasn’t the best approach for a long-term relationship.

“I guess it’s time to get ready for our day.”

“I’d say you have a good start,” Constantine said leaning against the door. Gabriel walked up behind him.

Jonathan smiled, acknowledging them. He moved back as Melody sat up looking desirable with her legs open and her pussy covered with his cum. He could see by the lust in their eyes that Constantine and Gabriel would be naked within seconds.

This, he thought to himself with a smile, was exactly the kind of woman they had been waiting to not only have in their bed but their life. Now if only Gabriel and Constantine would stop being so damned cautious.

  Chapter Twenty-One

Constantine and Jonathan arrived just as dinner was about to be served. Gabriel had already been home for an hour and was more than ready to eat. It amazed Melody just how ruled Gabriel was by his stomach.

She and Matilda had worked hard on the Australian lamb and the potato and watercress soup. The vegetables had been easy, with roasted tomatoes and puffed rice. Of course none of them had any idea she had helped. She had asked Matilda to keep her secret. She wasn’t sure why she didn’t want them to know Matilda was teaching her to cook. She just didn’t.

“This is delicious,” Gabriel said, sampling the lamb. “Matilda continues to outdo herself.”

“Grandfather loved her, and I can see why. I think if I had a choice between the apartment and Matilda, I would choose Matilda every time.”

“My goodness.” Melody shook her head. “You’re talking like she came with the apartment. She could always decide she doesn’t want to stay with you.”

“Point taken,” Constantine said. “However, she’ll never leave us. She loves us.”

“Yes, I do love you boys. And I will stay with you as long as you want me to.” Matilda refilled their water.

Gabriel smiled. “Your entrance was quite timely.”

“That’s not fair,” Melody pouted. “You mustn’t let them take advantage of you, Matilda. You could work anywhere. You’re exceptional.”

Matilda smiled. “Now, Miss Melody, you are all fired up over this, and the fact is, there’s nowhere I would rather be than taking care of these two boys. I promised their grandfather I’d look out for them, and that’s what I intend to do. And now that I have Jonathan to look out for, well, I’m even more needed.”

“Don’t you have a family of your own?” The words were out before Melody could take them back. She hadn’t meant them the way they sounded.

“I have a sister, but we haven’t seen each other in years
. My brother died in a car crash. I never married. So I guess this family is my family.”

“And you are our family, too, Matilda.” Gabriel smiled warmly at the woman.

“Yes, you are,” Constantine agreed. “We couldn’t function without you.”

“I know I couldn’t,” Jonathan said sincerely. “You’ll always have a home with me.”

“I shouldn’t have asked you that,” Melody said. “I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be,” Matilda said kindly. “Now enjoy your meal. I’ll bring out dessert when you’re ready.”

When Matilda had left the room, Gabriel glared at her. “That was totally uncalled for. Why would you ask her that?”

“I don’t know. I told her I was sorry. I like Matilda a lot. I would never say anything to deliberately hurt her.”

“I know you didn’t mean to, but Matilda is more like a grandmother to us. If she wanted to stay and not do a thing, we wouldn’t care. Do you understand?” Constantine said, his irritation more than clear from his clipped words.

“I said I was sorry, and I am. She’s been very good to me.”

“She’s a good person. We’re lucky to have her with us.” Gabriel forked a piece of lamb on his plate as if it might be taken from him.

Melody couldn’t explain why it irritated her that Matilda was so close to them. She wasn’t jealous. It was irrational, and she didn’t like that she had put the woman in an awkward situation. She knew she wasn’t acting like herself. She needed to get grip on the emotions these men stirred up in her.

She wanted more, but all they seemed to want from her was sex. If that was all it really was to them, then at some point this thing they had would have to end. She felt her heart drop into her shoes. She didn’t want it to end. She wanted to be with them forever.

Maybe it was jealousy that had made her act the way she had toward Matilda—she would never have to say good-bye to them. They loved her. How many women had Matilda seen come and go? She wasn’t sure she wanted to know the answer. Matilda brought out a cherry pistachio cake for dessert that was to die for. It was so moist. All three men raved over it, and Matilda beamed under their praise. Melody had nothing do with the cake, and in her mind could take no credit for the pleasure she saw on all three men’s faces.

“That,” she said to Matilda when she came in to clear the table, “may have been one of the best cakes I’ve ever tasted. Thank you.”

  “You’re very welcome, dear.”

They drank their coffee, and then Gabriel announced he had tickets for a play on Walnut Street. It was one that Melody had heard about and had hoped to attend. The three of them left the apartment, and the limo took them to the theater. It was quite crowded. When the curtain went up, she was mesmerized by the set that depicted the wilds of Africa.

“This is a bit of a Romeo and Juliet love story,” Gabriel whispered into her ear. “I have a feeling you’re going to like it.”

“You think I like sad love stories?”

“Doesn’t every woman?” Gabriel said knowingly.

She just shook her head and watched the story unfold. Gabriel had been right. It was a love story between a young man and woman who were from two separate warring tribes. However, by the time the curtain dropped, it had ended with happily ever after and not tears. It was beautifully done.

“I must say,” Constantine said with a smile, “I’m glad to see you’re not crying. Although I could swear there are tears in your eyes.”

“I love it when things work out and especially when I was expecting the worse.”

“I do, too,” Jonathan said, putting his arm around her, “like it when things work out.”

“Unfortunately that doesn’t always happen in real life,” she said sadly.

They made their way through the crowd to the lobby. As they walked out through the theater doors and onto the street, Constantine took one of Melody’s hands and Gabriel the other. Jonathan walked beside Constantine, but every now and then he would come up behind her and plant a kiss at the nape of her neck. Jonathan seemed to always be slightly on the outside looking in, except when he was having sex with her. She would love to bring him closer. She felt her insides turn warm at the thought. She needed all three of them. But more than that, she was hopelessly in love with them.

Trying to change the direction of her thoughts, she looked around when it suddenly dawned her that it might look strange to some people to see one woman with three men who were fawning over her.

“Aren’t you afraid someone will see us and wonder what our story is?” Melody asked, always cautious about what people might think.

“What is our story?” Constantine asked to no one in particular.

“You know,” Melody whispered, “that we’re all together.”

“Oh, you mean that you’re involved with three men at the same time,” Constantine said rather loudly.

“Are you crazy? Do you want people to hear?”

  “I really don’t give a fuck.”

“Gabriel,” she said in warning, “say something to him.”

“What, that I don’t give a fuck either what people think or say?”

“That’s not true,” she snapped. “You all have careers and have a respected place here. You don’t want to ruin that.”

“Is that what you think would happen? That we’d be ruined if people found out that I was sharing my woman with my brother and his friend or that they were sharing their woman with me?”

“Don’t you?” She had stopped in her tracks. This was a weird conversation to be having on the sidewalk.

“Or, are you worried more about your own career? From everything you’ve said, Allison thinks you’re the next Taylor Swift.”

“I think Allison may be exaggerating. But is it wrong to be worried?”

“The world is changing all the time. There are many very well-known people who have come out with lifestyles that are not considered the norm. We actually know some of them, and they are living happy lives.” Gabriel was speaking to her like she was a child again.

“I’m sure they are the exception.”

“That may be, and although it’s not fair, when you have the kind of money we do, people seem to find you much more acceptable regardless of your preferences. We’re not afraid of who we are and what we want. However, we don’t normally flaunt it either, but you do bring out our more animalistic and primal side.”

“That’s for sure,” Constantine said and then added, “Here comes the limo.”

Once they were settled inside and the driver had pulled out on to the street, Melody said, “You never fail to amaze me. I’m in awe of you. The fact that you aren’t ashamed of me or our relationship is more than I thought possible.”

“Does that mean you’re ashamed of us?” Gabriel asked.

“Well, I haven’t told anyone. Not that I have a lot of people to tell. But I never told Max.”

“He knows. So does Allison Harper. Allison’s been with two men for years, and from what I understand is looking for a third,” Gabriel informed her.

  “What? You’re not kidding?”

  “No. I’m not kidding.”

She shook her head in disbelief. “I’m shocked.”

“Well, you’ll find our lifestyle isn’t as odd as you seem to think,” Gabriel said, displeased with her reaction.

“You can’t really blame me for being surprised,” she said, resting her hand on Gabriel’s knee. “I’m very new to all this.”

“Yes. You are, aren’t you? Sometimes I forget just how new all this is to you. You’ve taken to it like you were born to be with us. When we get home, I can’t wait to give you even more experience. What do you think, Constantine…Jonathan?”

“I couldn’t agree more.” Constantine’s voice was all silk and naughtiness. She shivered in anticipation. She always wanted them.

Jonathan smiled. “There’s nothing I want more than you. If it weren’t for the driver, I’d put you on your knees right here and…

“Exactly,” Gabriel said, nodding at Jonathan. “When we get home.”

Melody felt her blood pressure rising. She was ready to do exactly what Jonathan said. She looked to see the driver had his eyes on the road. Thank goodness for the privacy glass.

Gabriel turned to her. “I want you to go directly to The Chamber and wait for us. I want you naked and on your knees when we walk in the door.”

“Yes, Sir,” she breathed, wishing they were home already.

  * * * *

Her clothes were folded, even her thong. She was on her knees with her legs spread out the way they liked. She pulled on her nipples and moaned. She wanted them. She looked around at the dark paneled walls that held shelves of creams and oils and a variety of small chests that held butt plugs and nipple clamps. The floggers, paddles, and whips were hung on the wall. They weren’t her thing, and although she had been paddled, she was still not ready to go further. They seemed to understand.

The door opened, and Jonathan, Constantine, and Gabriel walked in. They were dressed in jeans and no shirts. They looked delicious. She quickly lowered her eyes.

They walked past her. She heard them rummaging around. One of them grabbed her hair and pulled back her head. It was Gabriel. With a smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes, he placed a blindfold around her head. He held her head back, and made her arch her back, pushing her breasts out. She jumped slightly when she felt the nipple clamps being attached to her hard nubs.

“Bend over, your ass in the air.”

She did as Constantine ordered. She knew what was coming. He was going to spank her. She held her breath.

“Count with me to five, Melody,” he said, gently caressing the cheeks of her ass.

His palm came down hard. “One,” she gasped.

His palm came down harder. “Two,” she cried out.

  Harder. “Three.”

Her bottom had to be red. She could feel the heat.
