Dr. Daddy Dom (Little Lake Bridgeport 2)

"I can't imagine you doing that. Layton doesn't surprise me, but you don't seem to be the violent sort."

"I'm not, and neither is what we do. Discipline is taken very seriously in this household, including our responsibility for her health and safety. Every time we are forced to smack her backend, it is with love and self-control. She was the victim of a violent assault and abuse, and we have to be cognizant of her mental health and constantly assess her responses. There is a tremendous amount of responsibility in being a Dom."

"I guess I'm projecting my own experiences into my perception." The man shrugged and took a sip of his coffee. "My pa used to beat the shit out of me when I was a kid. There was never any love involved, just anger and shame. I can't imagine it being otherwise."

"Hang around here long enough and you'll see for yourself," Layton said, rejoining them. "She's starting to push her luck again."

"It's been over a week since Ian's been here and she's got to be needing her fix. I don't know why she doesn't just ask for it." Caine sighed.

"Ask for what? Sex?" Ian asked.

"No, a spanking. Don't look so shocked. In a domestic discipline home, that's like needing a massage. It makes her relax and feel safe. Right, Caine?"

"Precisely. Even when she messes up, the intimacy involved in her punishment gives her a sense of belonging. She… what are you doing out of bed, young lady? Where are your slippers?" Caine asked as May appeared before them, dressed in a pink and white Hello Kitty nightgown.

"Upstairs. I'm not tired, Daddy," she mumbled, climbing on his lap and curling up under his chin.

"You're dead on your feet, baby. Go back to bed while I talk with Uncle Ian."

  "I don't wanna."

"Maybelle, it's after eleven and you can barely keep your eyes open. Go to bed," Caine said firmly.

  "I need cuddles."

"No, what you need is a good paddling. You heard Daddy. Bed," Layton said gruffly, pointing to the doorway.

  "I'm not tired!"

"Don't make me repeat myself. You know the consequences, and that I won't hesitate to enforce them."

"You're so mean!" she yelled, stomping out of the room. A slamming door emphasized her anger.

"That's going in your book!" Layton shouted. He grunted as he turned back to the other two men. "I guess ten days is her limit for behaving. I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to take care of that. I don't go for temper tantrums."

"Good thing you've never been around one of Savannah's. Her voice gets so shrill when she screams that I'm afraid she's going to break a window," Ian said.

"I told you that my only experience with her involved a Slurpee. I—did I just hear another door slam?" Layton asked.

"You did," Caine said calmly. "Go deal with her. We won't talk about anything important until you get back."

Ian waited until Layton was out of sight. "Is he really going to punish her for slamming doors?"

"He is going to discipline her for the temper tantrum. Don't look so upset. He's a pro, and she's no stranger to the palm of his hand or the flat of a hairbrush. Plus, she provoking it. It's going to get noisy in a few minutes, but there is nothing to worry about. I promise."

Ian shifted uncomfortably on the couch as the sharp staccato sound of Layton's hand popping May's bare flesh, and the her accompanying protests, echoed down into the family room where they sat. He glanced at Caine's calm features and then lowered his eyes and listened in silence. After a few minutes, the noise stopped.

"Does it really help?" he asked quietly.

"It's the only thing that does. He let her off lightly, but it should have been enough to warn her."

"Move it, young lady," Layton ordered, appearing at the doorway and looking behind him.

May shuffled in; her eyes were wet with a few stray tears and her hair was tangled in front of her red face. She looked at the floor and traced the carpet with her toe. "I'm sorry I threw a fit," she mumbled.

"Was it worth it?" Caine asked firmly, his arms crossed.

  "No."

"Come here. I love you," Caine said, entwining his strong arms around her and kissing her cheek. "I don't like it when you throw yourself around after we tell you to do something that is best for you. It makes us feel like you don't trust our judgment."

"I trust you. I just don't want to miss anything," she muttered.

"Honey bun, if there is anything important, you know that we'll tell you. Don't we always?"

  "I still don't like it."

"Stop pouting, Maybelle," Layton scolded. "Now say good night and go to bed."

Ian had a slight smile on his lips after she reluctantly obeyed and left the room again. "I'm sorry, but she really is cute. How can you even think about spanking that little thing?"

"It's not difficult once she opens her mouth. Just beware, she has great aim, so avoid pissing her off when there are pinecones present," Layton grumbled.

"Does your hand hurt?" Caine asked, watching him rub his palm on his jeans.

"Either I've gotten soft, or she's developed a leather butt," his brother answered, looking at his hand.

"What you need to do is start riding again. You've lost the calluses from the reins and now have the nice, soft hands of a debutante," Ian said jovially.

"I do not!" Layton snarled, flexing his fingers. "She just has a very high tolerance, and it takes a lot to get her to feel it."

"When was the last time you put your pasty white ass in a saddle?"

Layton glowered at Ian, his gray eyes accentuated by his dark tan. "There is nothing pasty about me, I'll have you know. It's been a while. I haven't had much time to either ride or fish since Miss May and the Safe House came into the picture."

"May likes to ride, why don't you take her with you?"

"Because he spends his days with his nose plastered to his case files. He's the council for the Safe House, and draws up all the legal contracts for admissions. He used to have May helping him, but she got upset when she read the files of all the women being placed. It's an ugly world out there, and she isn't emotionally strong enough to handle it yet," Caine added.

"Without her helping me, it doubled my work. That's all I really do now—defend victims of domestic violence," Layton said.

Ian shook his head. "It seems like such a contradiction: the way you live your life and then having to defend these women from real abusers. How do people differentiate between a lifestyle and a crime?"

"Some don't. Bottom line, it's all about consent, and exercising the power exchange with responsibility and wisdom. When we were kids, no one thought twice about spanking us, but now speakers for nonviolence have personalized it and announce it as abusive. They don't differentiate between discipline and abuse, nor do they consider that recipients of the former usually thrive, while the victims of the latter end up hospitalized or dead. Everyone is grouped into the same category out of ignorance and fear, which has led to paranoia. We are now raising a nation of disrespectful children who have no regard for anyone but themselves, and many of the girls at the Safe House are the result."

"Are they still being beaten for their mistakes there?" There was no judgment or bitterness in Ian's voice as he looked back and forth between his two friends.

"We never beat our girls. Ever. Nor is there any anger, vengeance or a personal agenda when they face discipline. They're also reassured and praised by someone who loves and believes in them. Sri is very good at that."

"I didn't mean to offend you. I know I have a lot to learn."

"No offense taken. We'd rather you ask the questions and consider the answers, than jump to the wrong conclusion. We all have to start somewhere, my friend," Layton said, patting Ian's knee. "I'm gonna call it a night. I put her in your room, Caine. I thought you might like some time alone with her."

"Great, thank you. I'm going to say good night, as well. Let's all go riding tomorrow morning and maybe drop some lines in the water. I don't have anything on the schedule until next week, and it would be go
od to take a lazy day," Caine suggested.

He hugged both men, trotted upstairs to his private domain and slipped inside his room. May was sound asleep under the blankets, curled up in a tiny ball with her arms around her favorite teddy bear. His clothes were tossed to the floor as he slid under the sheets and gently pried the stuffie from her arms.

She mumbled something unintelligible and turned her back to him. Peeling the covers back to expose the bright red flesh to his view, he gently ran his hand across her smoldering skin and felt the heat radiate from her newly spanked backside. His cock began to rise as he caressed the length of her spine with his lips and then pressed his mouth at the sweet little indent where her swollen mounds separated into two, perfectly formed orbs.

"Caine?" she whispered in her sleep as he moved his lips downward to graze against the backs of her legs and her exposed right inner thigh.

"Shh, you're dreaming," he whispered, nuzzling the soft darkness of her smoothly shaved pussy. As he had hoped, the spanking had left her wet and ready for him. His cock now stood, firm and ready, and he carefully eased the tip into the mouth of her slumbering slit. Inch by inch, he moved within her, slowly introducing his endowment as he reached around to circle and gently squeeze her clit. She was a sound sleeper, yet she still responded instinctively to the penetration by arching her back and pressing her bottom closer to his body. When he felt her body relax around his shaft, he started to move slowly within her, enjoying the hot embrace of her tight sheath around the plunging muscle of his cock.

He felt her hand move on top of his and press down on his fingers to place more pressure on her clit. "You really didn't think that I could stay away while you fucked me, did you? Now, show me what I've been missing," she whispered.

With a growl, he pulled her to her hands and knees and then lunged deeply, digging his fingers into her hips as he drove into her with the hungry need of a man who had been starved of pleasure. "Touch yourself," he hissed, clenching his teeth as his shaft began to swell and thicken.

The sound of her pleasured mewls reached his ears and he grabbed a handful of her hair and yanked her head back as his thrusts became more demanding. "Get your ass in the air and keep playing with yourself!"

She responded, spreading her knees and arching her back to give him full access to her body. He pressed her cheek to the mattress, her hair still entangled in his left fist, and smacked the side of her thigh.

"My ass. Spank me," she begged, her breath becoming short as he began to pulsate inside her. He struck her bottom with a heavy hand, her yelp encouraging him to repeat the swat.

"Fuck!" he shouted into her back as his hot, fragrant juice shot like a cannonball into her tightly contracting womb.

May buried her mouth in her pillow as she cried out, lifting her ass higher to take in every long, pulsing centimeter of his talented cock. She jerked several times, her body covered with a fine layer of sweat, growling through clenched teeth as the orgasm consumed her.

Caine crumpled on top of her, spent and exhausted, and crooned into the crook of her neck as he rolled to one side and pulled her down beside him. "That felt so good," he whispered, kissing her eyelids. "I'm sorry I woke you up. I just can't resist a hot, naked bottom."

"Mmm, there is no better way to be woken up." She kissed him and then brought her hand down to his tired cock. "Wanna go for round two?"

"I want to sleep. Put your head on my chest and close your eyes. We've got a long day tomorrow."

  "We do? What's going on?"

"You'll know in the morning. Sleep."

"I want loves," May stated, tracing her finger around his nipple.

He snatched her hand and held it firmly against his stomach. "I just gave you loves. Sleep."

  "I want cuddles."

Caine inhaled deeply, tightening his arm around her shoulders. "Maybelle Corinne, what you want and what you going to get are two different things. Now settle yourself down and go to sleep."

"Excuse me, but you're the one who woke me up in the first place. Remember?" she said snippily as she tried to turn away from him.

"I remember very well, thank you. I also remember what enticed me. Should I get the hairbrush and give you a reminder, as well?"

"You're becoming as mean as Layton. 'Night."

"Thank you and good night," he said with a tiny smile. He reached over to turn off the lights and fell asleep, the smile still on his face.

  Chapter 5

"That was so much fun. Thanks for taking me out," May said, hopping off her horse. "Can I let her swim? Huh? Can I?"

"Just for a few minutes to cool down, and then come right back. We have a lot of things to do today." Caine crossed his arms and nodded, eyeing her as Layton removed the animal's tack before the girl led the horse to the edge of the lake.

"I have to admit, I've never seen a horse that likes water enough to swim," Ian said several minutes later as they watched the animal swim alongside the little blonde. "Aren't you worried that she's going to accidentally kick May?"

"That's not going to happen. May! Time to come in!" Caine called.

"I hate when she does that," Layton lamented as the woman climbed on the horse's back and directed it to swim to shore. "I'm more worried that she's going to fall off right when they get to the beach. That mount is slippery and—May! Baby! Are you okay?" he shouted, breaking into a dead run.

"She's fine! Layton! He's such a mother sometimes," Caine groaned, following Layton to where May sat on the sand. Her legs were stuck straight out in front of her, her arms crossed at the chest, and she had an annoyed scowl on her face as Layton covered her with kisses and checked her for injuries.

"Are you hurt? Should I get Owie Bear?" he asked worriedly.

"No. I'm fine and I don't need Owie Bear," she said.

"What's an Owie Bear?" Ian asked, watching her slap Layton's hands away.

"It's her favorite teddy bear that gets the same bandages that she does if she gets hurt. May? Are you all right?" Caine said.

"Yeah, except for him. You're annoying me. Layton, leave me alone," she said, trying to stand.

He pulled her to her feet and hugged her tightly. "I just worry, babydoll."

Screwing up her face, she pushed him away. "And this is why I don't want you going to my races. You're embarrassing me in front of Ian. Stop!"

Caine calmly stood between them. "Enough, you two. We need to get cleaned up and run over to the house for the deliveries. Layton? Are you going to go with us?"

"Actually, I need to get a case ready for Monday. Before anyone argues—and yes, I'm talking about you, Maybelle," Layton held up his hand to stop her protests, "if I do it now then I will have the entire day on Sunday to spend with all of you. That also means that I won't have to hurry through your punishment book that night."

"There's nothing in my book." May folded her arms again.

"Didn't I tell you to put the door slamming in there?"

"That's not fair! You already spanked me for that! Caine! That's double jeopardy!" She stomped her foot.

"She's got a point," Ian said, holding back a laugh as May stared up defiantly at her tall husbands.

"I agree." Caine nodded. "The door slamming temper tantrum was dealt with already."

"No, I dealt with her defiance, not the tantrum," Layton argued.

Caine shook his head. "I have to disagree. May, put down the pinecones."

"Take it back, mister, or these are going to be used," she threatened, aiming at Layton.

Caine held out his hands in front of him with his palms facing her. "Easy, girl. Put the pinecones down and nobody gets hurt."

"Take it back! Make him swear that my book is clear." She drew back her arm, her eyes darting back and forth between the two handsome men. She didn't see Ian sneak up behind her before he grabbed her around the waist and freed his friends from the threat of her deadly aim. "No fair! I was ambushed!" she protested.

"Yeah, you were. She's no bigger than a football," Ian said
and laughed, tossing May over his shoulder and turning towards the laughing men. "Who does she usually aim for?"

"Layton, and she rarely misses. Hold her still," Caine requested before landing a solid swat across her backside.

"You call that a smack? Lemme show you how to do it." Layton repeated the swat.

"Stop it!" May tried to kick, but Ian's arms around her legs prevented it. "Ow! That's enough!"

"Keep going, guys; the pounding of her fists on my back feels great. Ow! She bit me. OW!" Ian said.

"Maybelle, take Ian's shoulder out of your mouth," Layton ordered, lifting her from the other man's shoulder and placing her on her feet. "No biting."

"He deserved it. Next time, I'll be watching you closely. Because," she grabbed a pinecone and pitched it at Ian, "I'll be aiming for you. Hear me?"

"Hey! Stop her!" the man yelled, ducking the flying pinecones as they pelted him unmercifully.

"That's enough. Go inside and get ready," Caine ordered, breaking into a laugh after she had raced to the house. "She got you."

"Yeah, she did," Ian said. "I would do anything to see Savannah be able to play like that."

"We will all do our best to bring it out. You have my word. Now, let's get your new home in order."

  ***

"What time is it?" Ian asked, looking out the window.

"It's five minutes since the last time you asked," Caine said.

"Sorry, I'm a little nervous. What if I screw up? What if—"

"What if you just do your best? There's the ambulance," Caine said as the vehicle pulled into the driveway. "Let's get this started."

An hour later, the young woman was lying back in bed, with Caine stroking her shoulder-length red hair as he spoke gently to her, explaining where they were and what would be occurring. Tears streamed down both sides of her face as she spoke through her wired jaw, growing frustrated when she couldn't lick her dry lips or significantly increase her volume to emphasize her frustration. She looked frantically at Ian and then back to Caine, and then shook her head.

"Savannah, I wanted to do this for us, not just for you. Caine and Layton are going to try to help us so that maybe we can heal our marriage and help us both be happy. I love you, but things have gotten out of control and we've both been hurt. Do you want a divorce?" Ian asked gently.
