The spectators watched entranced; some hooted, others shouted obscenities as she spun, twirled, and taunted them with her body. She removed each and every piece of cloth on her body to the erotic beat of the music. When completely naked, she spread her legs and allowed them to see her goods before she exited the stage.
The club’s manager, Gianni, immediately came towards her when she dropped backstage. “You got a client. Three.”
Sonia wasn’t surprised. There’d always be someone who was willing to buy what she’d left on the table whenever she got off stage. She started to put on a bikini. “He’s got money?”
“Yeah!” Gianni nodded. “And don’t try any funny business with my cut.”
“Do I ever?” she asked, her eyes widening innocently. She actually tried ‘funny business’ frequently – and succeeded- because Gianni thought he was a pimp and wasn’t. He was too soft on the girls. The worst he’d ever done when they held his cut was threaten to throw them out. Sonia had been threatened with worse. Besides, he wouldn’t throw her out. Her exotic looks were a welcome difference in the pale blonde sea that dominated the club and she’d quickly become a favorite at Skins.
Room three was one of the four rooms behind the club’s main floor that Gianni kept for other business. Though muted, she could still hear the music from the club as she walked down the hallway towards it. She turned the doorknob.
Her heart dropped to her stomach the moment she stepped into the room.
He sat sprawled on the only couch with one ankle over his knee and his arms spread out along the back of the seat.
“Hello, Sonia.” Félix smiled. “I told you. Félix has friends everywhere.”
