“I swear, I’m gonna paddle her ass until she squeaks. Yours too, for good measure,” he growled in mock threat as he stalked me around the bed.
“Careful, she might like that.” I danced away from his rush to tackle me, laughing the whole time. “And I might turn the tables on you if you try that with me.” This time when he rushed me, I stepped into it and caught his wrists in my hands, then drew them behind his back as I pressed close. “Besides,” I let my breath wash over his skin as I spoke, “I have other ideas for your hands that’ll more than satisfy your urge to discipline us.”
I let that sink in as the tension ratcheted higher, then kissed his chest before I released his hands and leaped out of reach. I made a quick exit through the door and headed to my room.
::You will pay for that, little one,:: he purred. The combined threat and promise was clear.

Will there be a book 2? Yes, it’s in development. In fact, I’d no sooner finished the last chapter in this one when I dove straight into the next, Zahra and crew chattering non-stop. Very demanding, that group...they know what they want and when they want it, and... Well, you get the picture.
Will book 2 have as much (or more) sex and sizzle? *grin* You have met Zahra, Sari, Lumi, and Gavin, right? I’m not sure exactly what the four of them have planned since they love to keep me in the dark right up until the moment a scene is written, but the hints they’ve already thrown sent me in search of some ice.
Can I get updates about what’s going on, such as snippets, any special deals, or when book 2 releases? Of course! Hit up the newsletter signup, and you can stay in touch on social media as well.
