Thanks to my parents for their support and to my editorial assistants (fur babies), Connor and Caitlyn, for their love and comfort. You have my heart and all my love.
And finally, thanks to everyone who reads this book. An author is nothing without readers. I really appreciate your willingness to read about such a niche subject. I hope you are enlightened and come away knowing something new about this great mythological and literary queen; I know I did.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Nicole Evelina is an award-winning historical fiction and romantic comedy writer whose four novels have won nearly 20 awards. The first two books in her Guinevere trilogy, Daughter of Destiny and Camelot’s Queen were named Books of the Year by Chanticleer Reviews and Author’s Circle, respectively. Her most recent novel, Madame Presidentess, a historical novel about Victoria Woodhull, America’s first female presidential candidate, was the first place winner in the Women’s US History category of the Chaucer Awards for Historical Fiction.
Her mission as a writer is to rescue little-known women from being lost in the pages of history. While others may choose to write about the famous, she tells the stories of those who are in danger of being forgotten so that their memories may live on for at least another generation. She also writes from the female point of view since the male perspective has historically been given more attention.
Nicole is one of only six authors who completed the first week-long writing intensive taught by #1 New York Times bestselling author Deborah Harkness in 2014. She is a member of and book reviewer for the Historical Novel Society as well as a member of the International Arthurian Society - North American Branch, Historical Fiction Writers of America, Novelists, Inc., Romance Writers of America, Romantic Novelists Association, Missouri Writers Guild, St. Louis Writer’s Guild, Alliance of Independent Authors, Independent Book Publishers Association, and Midwest Independent Publishers Association.
When she’s not writing, she can be found reading, playing with her spoiled twin Burmese cats, cooking, researching, and dreaming of living in Chicago or the English countryside.
