Colt Harper: Esteemed Vampire Cat

“Eating her luggage.”
“And how is she liking the Tickle-Me Delmo Doll?”
Jax grins. “How do you think?”
“Well, whatever stops her from kidnapping children and tickling them in the forest.”
Approaching the decrepit theatre, I sigh in disbelief by how quickly everything changed. Here I thought Saffy and I could officially start dating. We’d live with the plethora of cats and keep off the radar. I hadn’t really considered other hobbies. I used to knit when I possessed that old woman, so revisiting that forgotten skill could’ve been interesting.
Instead, I’m coerced into taking my inept – ugh – friends to my once favorite retreat.
As soon as I wonder if it’s really worth it, Saffy glances over my shoulder and smiles, her bad mood somehow alleviated by opening the theatre doors. Jax, sharing her broad grin, awkwardly bows his head, as if to silently thank me for my assistance.
Freaking son of a devil bitch in the fiery pits of eternal hell.
Colt Harper: Disparaged Vampire Cat should read suckiest, lamest vampire cat succumbing to lousy human emotions.
Too bad that title is too much of a mouthful…and maybe too much of a spoiler for what’s to come.
A Jack, or more accurately, a Tyrolin of all trades.
Broken Dolls, the first in the trilogy, is an international #1 bestseller and appeared on Buzzfeed’s Top 24 Best SciFi/Fantasy Books of 2015.
Tyrolin has been in the Top 25 of the Australian Songwriters Association and Top 5 of the Australian Independent Music Awards, was awarded an Australia Day Award for Music in 2014 and 2017, and for Arts in 2015.
She owns a performing arts school, teaches creative writing and co-hosts a podcast called HooPod, which is part of Felicia Day’s Hooman community.
Despite this, chocolate, cats and copious amounts of TV marathons take up the majority of Tyrolin’s time.
