Winger (Book 4): Corrupted Saints MC
Page 11
“Yeah, I wanted to ask you a favor.” I turn to Winger. “Winger, do you mind if I talk to him privately?”
“Okay. I’ll be right back. Do you want anything from the kitchen?”
I nod my head no and he heads out pissed.
I turn back to Rock. “Would you mind looking into the death of my parents for me? Luke, the president of the Lucifer’s Apostles MC, said that I had an inheritance. I don’t know if it was true.”
“Sam, look, before anything, I want to say that I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I left you.”
“No.” I put my hand up in a stop gesture. “You don’t need to apologize, you did what I wanted you to. You took care of the old ladies of this club that’s what you needed to do. They were after me, anyway.”
“Please, I feel terrible, you are just as important, especially to my brother Winger.”
“I’m not his old lady if that is what you are talking about.”
“You two need to talk. Look, I am sorry and I don’t need to look into it. I already did.”
“What?” I’m so confused.
“I had to check out everything, and I found this.” He sits next to me on the bed and pulls out his phone, and shows me a document that looks like a will.
“What am I looking at?” I ask.
“This is a copy of a will that your parents left. I don’t know why you were never shown this, but on your next birthday, you are going to inherit a very large amount of money, around 21.3 million.”
“How is that possible? I don’t understand.” I’m in shock.
“Before your parents died they left you everything. I’m surprised your caretakers never said anything to you. They were getting paid to watch over you.”
“They never gave me a thing. I had to work for everything. I can’t believe this.”
“That’s not the only thing, your dad apparently had stocks in addition to the liquid assets. He invested into some start-up tech company back then. The stock is worth millions as well.”
“What the hell? I can’t believe this is true.” I’m in a total state of shock. I can’t believe this is happening to me.
“Look, I know it’s a lot to take in. If you need an attorney to take a look at anything for you, I know someone that can help. It’s the least I can do. I really do feel bad about what happened, and I know you tell me not to but I feel like a dickhead and a coward for what I did.” He is remorseful and I wish he wasn’t.
“I’d like that.” I move in and hug him. “Thank you, Rock.” I attempt to give him a kiss on the cheek, but he turns his head at the wrong moment and I end up kissing his mouth. And just my luck, Winger walks in at that exact moment.
“What the fuck is going on in here?” He rushes over to Rock and grabs him by the cut.
“Winger, stop it! He turned his head at the wrong time, you ass. Put him down!” I try to hit his arm with my good arm but he isn’t letting up.
“You really expect me to believe that?” He is fuming pissed.
“Yes, because it’s true you dumb fuck. No offense Sam, but you’re not my type. I have particular tastes,” Rock says.
“No offense taken, that was like kissing a brother, yuck,” I say to him and I wipe my mouth. I walk over to Winger and get under his arms so I am between him and Rock but facing him. I lean up on my tippy toes and give him a kiss on the lips. He finally let’s go of Rock.
Our kiss is very passionate and feels different than any other we’ve had. I can feel the emotion in his kiss.
Rock moves out from behind me. “If we are done, I’m going to leave,” he says.
I break away from the kiss. “Thank you, Rock.”
He leaves and closes the door behind him.
“You know, you’re starting to get possessive Mr. Road Captain.”
“You were kissing my brother, what else am I supposed to think or do?”
“You’re not supposed to grab him by the lapels and hold him up against a wall. Last time I checked you were supposed to be watching each other’s backs,” I say, looking up at him.
“You’re right.” He steps back and sits down on the bed.
“So, am I allowed to go home?” I really want to change into my own clothes and be in my own space. I like being here, but too much has gone on here and I want to get away.
“Sam, your place was trashed. There isn’t much to go back to there.”
“Shit! Are you kidding me? That was a rental.” I need to get back and straighten things up.
“Why do you want to leave?” He looks worried.
“I need to get away from here for a while, too much has gone on in here and I need peace. No offense,” I say to him.
“You can stay at my place if you’d like.”
“I couldn’t impose on you like that, I’ve already been taking up so much space here. Plus, I want to get back to my place so I can start fixing things up.”
“Please, you would never impose on me. I can finally show you my place and you can decide how to decorate it.” He pauses and looks at me. “I also have a few prospects taking care of your place. It will be a few days before you can go back. What do you say?”
I really do what to get out of here and it would be nice to see his house. “Okay. Can we go now?” I want to be out of here ASAP and he already has people taking care of the house. The sooner the better.
“You don’t have to ask me twice.” He gets up and gathers my stuff. I’ve never seen someone move so fast.
We walk out of the clubhouse and towards his car. The clubhouse is still full of people.
We are riding in his car in silence.
10 minutes later….
Winger gets out and opens the door for me. His house is beautiful. It looks like a magazine log cabin with exposed wood and stone out front. He has a small garden with some flowers, too. It’s super cute but masculine at the same time. He also has a very large driveway.
“Thank you. Your house is amazing. Is this all your work, too?”
“It sure is.” He grabs my bag from the back seat. “Come on, let me show you around.”
He leads the way towards his house and opens the front door. He allows me to walk in first. “Wow,” I say. His place is amazing. “This is the perfect blank canvas.” The space is so open with so much natural light. There is a living room to the right when you walk in, followed by a dining room on the left, kitchen and then a long hallway towards what I can only assume is the rest of the house. The craftsmanship of the woodwork in his home is amazing.
I walk over to the dining room and he has these amazing chairs. I’ve never seen anything like this. “These chairs are amazing. We should really get some for the restaurant. It would be perfect accent pieces at the tables.”
“I’m glad you like what I can do with my hands. I made these babies. They are my pride and joy.” I’m dumbfounded.
“I’m speechless right now, you’re so talented. Why aren’t you selling your work?”
“I only do this for fun, I don’t want to deal with bitching people and whiney assholes.”
“Fair enough.”
“Come on, let me show you to the bedroom.” We walk down a long hallway and reach a huge bedroom. “This is where you will be staying. There’s a bathroom through there, clean sheets and towels are in the closet.” The bedroom is huge, there is a giant 4 post bed in the middle with a canopy on top, an en-suite bathroom and walk-in closet. There are sliding glass door windows that lead to a balcony and views of the mountain. It truly feels like an escape here. I can’t help but notice that his clothes are in the closet.
“Winger, this is your bedroom. I can’t take your space, you must have a guestroom I can sleep in.”
“No. You will stay in here and I get the couch out front if you want me to stay there. The guestrooms aren’t set up yet.”
“I’m not going to take your bed.”
“Baby, you are going to take the bed. I sleep on the co
uch all the time, anyway.”
“You can sleep in the bed with me,” I say with a smile on my face.
“If that’s what you want.”
“It is.”
Winger’s phone suddenly rings. He steps out to take the phone call. I move towards the window and step outside onto the balcony and take a seat on one of the lounge chairs. The sun feels amazing on my face.
I must have dozed off for a few minutes because Winger is waking me up.
“Sam, I need to go. I have to take care of some club business. I’m actually going to be gone for a few days. I hate leaving you like this. I’ll be back on Saturday for Breaker’s birthday party. I already spoke with the two prospects and they should be done with your house in a few. You can stay here as long as you like, but your house is there if you want it. I can call Charlotte if you want her to come stay with you. “
“I’ll be okay. Thank you for everything.”
“I didn’t want to leave you so soon, but I have club business to take care of.”
“It’s not a problem at all. I’m thankful you’re letting me into your space.”
“Anytime baby. The fridge is fully stocked if you get hungry. There is also a prospect outside keeping watch just in case.” He walks over to me and gives me a long passionate kiss.
I can’t help but moan a little and feel like I’m in a trance when he pulls away.
“Wow.”
“I’ll be thinking of those lips and the taste of your sweet pussy as it came in my mouth while I’m away. I’ll be back.” He gathers a bag he already had packed in his closet and walks out. I follow suit and lock the door behind him.
I wonder what is making him leave so soon. All I know is that I really want my house to be fixed up so I can feel like I have something of my own. I’m grateful for the Corrupted Saints for taking care of me and giving me everything I need, but I came here for a job and I need to get back to it.
I spend the next couple days working on mock-ups for Winger’s house. After 2 days in Winger’s house, the prospect he had watching over me, his name is Joey, came over and told me my house was ready. Joey and I have become friends. It took me annoying the shit out of him to get him to tell me his name, but he finally did. He is a former army ranger, and he decided to prospect for the Corrupted Saints after missing the brotherhood of the military. He is a huge freaking man; I swear they are pumping something in the water here.
“Hey Joey, do you think you can grab my bag for me? I’m going to run in to get my laptop.” I set my bag down by the front door and run inside to grab my computer.
“You got everything packed up?” Joey asks.
“Yup, let’s go see what my place looks like.” From what Joey told me, my house was a disaster. Everything was thrown all over the place, they destroyed the walls and broke a lot of stuff. Luckily, they were able to fix it up. They said all my clothes were left intact for the most part. I did go shopping with Charlotte and Sky the other day and bought clothes that were more my speed. I’ve been frumping around too much in bag lady clothes.
We get to my house and Joey opens the door for me. I’m still in a sling but I have better mobility in my arm. I’m going to be working with a physical therapist once the wound closes up.
“Thanks Joey. Let’s take a look at what’s going on in here.” I walk to my front door and open it up. Wow, they did a great job. Everything is clean and modern but super cozy at the same time. They had to repaint the walls and get me new furniture. The craftsmanship on the furniture is amazing. This has to be Winger’s work. I noticed he places little branded wings on the underside of his work. I look under the coffee table to take a look.
“What are you doing down there Sam?” Joey asks, scaring me that I bump my head.
“Ouch, you shithead, you scared me. I’m trying to find the wings.”
“Yeah, the furniture is Winger’s. I see you found the Winger trademark.”
“Yup. He really does know what to do with his hands.” I’ve been trying for days to get him to tell me where the MC leadership went. They all went on a run except for Tank.
“Where do you want me to put your bags?” he asks holding up my bags.
“Oh, sorry. You can just place them down anywhere. I will take care of it later.” I stand up and head towards the kitchen. “You want something to drink?” I ask.
“Nah, I’m actually going to head out and meet my girlfriend for lunch. The other prospect is going to be by to watch out front, I’ll be back to relieve him later on. I’ll catch you later.” He leaves out the front door.
“I’ll see you later.” I watch him from the window. He hops on his bike as soon as the other prospect comes and rides away.
Tomorrow is Breaker’s birthday and they are throwing a huge party. Charlotte and the girls are going to come over and we are going to get ready together. They are all excited because their men have been gone and will be coming back except for Sky. Tank has been around, he is the only one that stayed behind.
I spend the rest of the day getting things in order. I make myself some dinner and finally get to bed around 3 am.
Chapter 15
Winger
After what felt like a fucking year we are finally heading back to the clubhouse. The club leadership and brothers except for Tank went on a run to dismantle the rest of Lucifer’s Apostles. We also finally did our fucking run of money for the cartel. Everything went smoothly, and we didn’t lose any brothers along the way. We made a cool fifty grand on the run and the Lucifer’s Apostles don’t exist anymore. It was a good day in the office.
We finally pull up to the clubhouse around 4 a.m. and I’m fucking exhausted.
“Hey brother, can I talk to you for a minute?” It’s Breaker.
“What’s up Pres?” I say back to him. We stand around our bikes to talk.
“I’ve already talked to the others, I want you to keep a close eye on the other chapters. I don’t have a good feeling about something and I want to give you heads up. Keep it on the down low.”
“Done.” I don’t second guess my Pres, I trust his feelings. I make my way into the clubhouse and dive bomb right into my bed and pass out.
12 hours later…
Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock!
“What the fuck do you want!?” I yell out. Someone is banging like a maniac on my door, motherfucker.
“Open up you fuck.” It’s Tank.
I get up and answer the door. “What the fuck brother?” I ask as I walk back to my bed.
“You’ve been sleeping for fucking 12 hours. It’s 4 p.m. and you’re supposed to be helping us set up for Breaker’s party, you shithead.”
I reach over to the side table and grab my phone. Ten missed calls and its four o’clock in the afternoon. “Shit. Let me take a quick shower and I will be right out. Are the girls here?” I ask hoping he will tell me about Sam.
“If you’re asking about Sam, no she isn’t here. None of the old ladies are.”
“She isn’t my old lady.”
“We’ll see about that,” he says with a huge grin on his face.
“Get the fuck out of here so I can shower.” I close the door behind him.
I emerge twenty minutes later, showered and feeling good as fuck. I head out to the main room of the clubhouse and start helping set up. It’s all hands on deck for Breaker’s birthday.
4 hours later…
We’re finally done setting up; the prospects did most of the hard work, that’s what they are here for. I grab a beer and kick back on one of the sofas. Tank, Buzz and Rock are sitting around me. A lot of people have already come, a lot of fresh pussy around too, but nothing I want. I’m scanning the room and notice one of the prospects I had watching Sam by the bar.
“Hey Prospect, come here.” It’s Joey.
“What’s up Sir?” he asks.
“Everything go okay with Sam?”
“Yeah, everything’s been great. She’s ba
ck at home,” he tells me. I didn’t think she would be home. I wanted her to stay at my place.
“Any problems I should know about?”
“None.”
“Good.” I go back to sipping my beer. He walks away once he sees someone he knows.
“Where the fuck is my old lady? She said she was going to be by in 10 minutes, it’s been a half an hour,” Buzz says from the right of me.
I make a whistling noise to catch his attention. Liz and Sky just walked in with a bunch of people. I nudge my chin towards the front so he can see.
“Finally. Shit had me worried,” he says.
“And that right there is why I don’t want an old lady. Always worrying and wondering where they are at and if they are okay. Fuck that shit.” I don’t know why, but I feel guilty saying it because I’m worried about Sam, and I love the old ladies. They have changed my brothers for the good.
“You just wait brother,” he says to me as he and Tank both stand to greet their ladies with a kiss and hug.
“Hey ladies, how’s it goin?” I ask Liz and Sky.
“Good,” they both reply with big smiles on their face.
“Who the fuck is that?” Rock says with a giant grin on his face. I can’t see who he is looking at because Delta is blocking my view. Whoever it is, he is definitely interested.
“Who gives a shit? It looks like Delta claimed her quick,” I say as I take a swig of my beer. I scan the room to see if I can find Sam. I haven’t seen her yet.
“I guess you missed out,” Sky says. It’s right at the moment that Delta turns around and walks towards us that I see the person he was talking to. Holy fucking hell, it’s Sam, and she is dressed to the nines. Her tits are out and she’s wearing a mini skirt. What the fuck? I’m both excited but pissed as hell that she is showing off like that and the fucker Delta jumped right on it. I jump right out of my seat and meet her halfway. I don’t give her any time to talk or say a word. I press her right up to my body with my hands around her hips and draw her into a deep kiss. If anyone has any questions as to who she belongs to, they won’t anymore. We break apart, both breathless.
