There was something about the scent of Ty’s skin when Ethan was this close to him. They’d been making out all over the apartment for hours. What started out in the kitchen with Ty finding Ethan’s lips and Ethan pulling off Ty’s shirt, had then moved into the living room where both made out against the window with their jeans opened and around their thighs. They’d then moved to the sofa, rolling together wearing only thickly budging designer briefs.
Somewhere on the plush carpet between the living room and the bedroom they found their briefs around their thighs as each teased his solid cock sensuously against the other while locked in a passion that was building both of them into badly needed releases.
With their clothes now lost somewhere all over the house, they’d ended up in the bedroom with nothing but the warmth of their skin between them. Holding. Gripping. Touching. Teasing.
Ty had stretched himself out across the usually unmade covers, His thick muscular arms over his head, his breathing heavy and his cock so hard it felt like it was vibrating. Ethan leaned over the top of Ty’s head, kissing his lips upside down. He moved slowly over Ty’s skin, his lips teasing Ty’s neck and then moving the caresses of his lips over to one of Ty’s outstretched arms. His lips and nose bumped against the pheromone-laden skin of his hairless underarm. Ty’s masculine scent this close to his nose sent Ethan’s cock twanging with desire. As Ethan hovered over him, he felt Ty’s lips wrap around one of his nipples, driving a short gasp from Ethan’s kissing pout. Ethan could play the same game.
“Uhhh, Jeeze!” Ethan heard Ty breath softly as he drew one of Ty nipples teasingly into his mouth.
Ethan felt Ty’s hands smoothing warmly over his sides while his lips soon moved over Ty’s abs. Ty’s lips were now sweetly tasting Ethan’s abs as well.
The sensations of feeling Ty like this pushed Ethan’s pulse to pounding; his breath began rippling now as he felt Ty’s lips moving from his abs to his short pubic trim. Ethan couldn’t remember ever feeling this hard in his life.
Just the simple scent of Ty’s skin around his imposingly thick, long male was making Ethan’s hips rock. Ty had never allowed Ethan’s lips anywhere near his cock and now Ethan understood why. He was completely lost in Ty’s clean male scent. Ty had kissed Ethan like this more times than he could remember, but now Ethan wanted to give Ty some of those same memories.
Ethan buried his nose and lips against the base of Ty’s impressive shaft. He drew one of Ty’s unusually large jewels fully into his mouth, just as Ty had done to him many times before. He felt Ty following his lead. Feeling himself being taken by Ty’s full lips made Ethan’s spread-thighs begin to weaken.
Ty’s knees drew up softly as Ethan slowly teased his smoothly shaved jewels with his pout, drawing each of Ty’s well-filled glands into his mouth over an over.
Ethan’s lips moved caressingly along Ty’s rock-hard shaft until they reached the soft skin of his thick uncut tip. Ethan teased Ty with his tongue, torturing him, making him endure the sweet sensations. Then slowly he drew in the end of Ty’s male; pulling him between his lips. Ty’s thick cock easily filled Ethan’s mouth; his tongue dancing around his wide shaft. There was no way he was going to be able to get even half of Ty into his mouth. Ethan then released him, letting his cock slip quickly from his pout warm and wet.
“Ohhh, Ethan,” he heard Ty quietly whisper. “You’re gonna kill me doing that.”
Ethan smiled to himself as he toyed with Ty now. He soon had Ty whimpering loudly as Ty’s hips rocked softly while Ethan’s lips and tongue moved lightly over the end of Ty’s deliciously smooth rock-hardness.
Ty’s heart was racing; his breathing heavy as more than the tip his cock began slipping wetly and deeply between Ethan’s lips and teasing tongue, filling Ethan’s mouth.
Ethan had already felt his own hardness slip between Ty’s gifted lips. He could sense Ty’s feelings all over inside him. With Ty’s talented lips moving over Ethan’s cock, weakening his thighs, he could barely hold himself over Ty now. Ty’s lips moved so sensuously over Ethan’s full shaft that his thighs felt like they were about to suddenly lose whatever strength remained in them. With Ty’s heavy cock still filling his mouth, Ethan whimpered uncontrollably at what Ty’s lips and tongue were doing to him between his own thighs.
Both slowly brought the passion of the other higher. Their bodies feeling what each other felt, a deep euphoria rose softly and steadily between them. With Ethan’s long shaft filling his mouth, Ty whimpered and drew back his knees as far as he could, the building euphoria from Ethan’s lips around him began pushing him to the breaking point.
But Ethan was already at his peak. Ty heard Ethan moaning loudly and sucking down hard on him as Ethan’s cock suddenly pulsed between Ty’s lips, spilling and spilling, again and again into his mouth. Whatever genetics they shared as newbloods, the scent of Ethan’s warm seed rising through his senses became an indescribable sensation.
“Ahhh, ohhh, Ethan,” Ty breathed, letting the sweet sensual scent rise though his senses. It was Ethan’s amazing scent that now pushed Ty’s own building ecstasy swiftly to his edge. With the will of a god Ty tried hard to restrain the powerfully building feeling; tried to hold it off as long as possible so that he could continue to feel Ethan’s warm wet lips all around his shaft as long as possible. But Ethan’s saline scent was too much.
Ethan felt Ty slip forcefully over the edge.
Ethan had already fallen hard for Ty’s unbelievable masculine scent, especially around his cock. But with Ty’s knees drawn back fully, his toes curled and his back arching deeply, what filled Ethan’s senses now was inexpressible to anything he’d ever known filling his senses. Ty’s cock pulsed heavily, over and over between his lips. Ethan couldn’t help but drink fully of Ty’s spilling euphoria, as if Nature itself had designed the two of them for this one incomparable moment.
The warmth of Ty’s seed moved quickly, warmly through Ethan, like an euphoric liqueur warming him all the way down, then all over inside. But soon it was that same warmth that began sapping Ethan’s strength. He couldn’t hold himself over Ty any longer.
Ty felt his cock slip from between Ethan’s lips as Ethan seemed to collapse prone over the top of him. Ty rolled Ethan softly to his back over the covers and then moved himself up closely to Ethan to watch as his gift took his friend.
“Ethan.” Ty whispered to him softly, his hand stroking Ethan’s handsome face.
“God—your scent,” Ethan’s hand rose weakly to Ty’s cheek. “Wonderful.”
“You’re not so bad yourself.” Ty grinned.
“New—colors,” Ethan breathed weakly, looking around.
Ty watched as the color of Ethan’s eyes moved through a few different shades, and then finally settled into a deep purple, just like his own.
Ty took Ethan’s hand and pulled it to his chest squeezing it tightly as Ethan’s eyes closed and he drifted off into his awakening.
Ty watched Ethan’s beautiful sleeping face. He shook his head. “Ahhh, God. Ethan. What am I going to do?” Ty kissed Ethan’s sleeping lips more than just a little warmly, the saline scent of sex still permeating their kiss. He sighed, resting his head on Ethan’s chest listening to his heart beat ever so slowly.

Y ou really did it?” Paige asked. She slipped the menu aside. Somehow they’d wound up at Olive Garden again.
“I did.” Ethan nodded. “Don’t I look a little different to you?”
“Not really,” she admitted. Maybe he looked a little more tan than usual. Ethan had been working out for months; it was the first time she’d really noticed his build. Ethan’s trips to the gym were finally paying off. Maybe he looked bigger than what she remembered. He pulled away his sunglasses so she could see his deeply purple irises.
“Honestly, Ethan, those are cool, but they still look like metallic contacts to me.”
He could feel her skepticism. He didn’t really care if she believed him or no
t.
“So—you’re like this god now?” She smirked.
Ethan nodded.
“It’s not even been a week since we talked last. I thought this was supposed to take a few weeks?”
“Ty said my awakening was a little fast, even for a Reborn.”
“I was reading about Tom Cruise. He’s like way up in the Scientology church. He’s supposed to be able to resurrect people.”
“I don’t think the real gods are quite like that. I don’t know that we can resurrect people.”
“So what good are you as a god if can’t resurrect anyone?” she snarked.
Ethan said nothing as a waiter set some peach iced teas in front of them and then took their orders.
“I’m pretty sure Tom Cruise isn’t doing resurrections.”
“So show me something. What can you do?”
“I can keep up with Ty around the lake finally.”
“That’s not really proof, Ethan. You two run together almost every day. Honestly, I would kind of expect that by now.”
“Paige, it’s dangerous being a god. People hate us. I’m trying to keep a low profile—not make a scene.”
“Sure you are.” Paige aimed a skeptical smile at him.
Ethan sipped from his tea.
“So what ever happened to this Rowan character? Is he still following you two?”
“I guess he still is. I think we’re just kind of waiting for him to show up now. There’s supposed to be this ancient tomb. He wants me to help him find it.”
“Oh, this is getting good.” Paige smirked. “First you’re a god; now you’re digging up ancient tombs?”
“I know. You think I’m bullshitting you.”
“I didn’t say that.”
“No. But I felt what you just thought.”
Paige looked at Ethan, the smile fading from her lips.

E than slipped out of bed and found some of his workout shorts to pull on before walking out into the living room where he found Ty watching something on his iPad.
“Shouldn’t you be going into the office?”
“Everyone’s closed today.”
“For what? It’s the middle of the week.”
“Shhh,” Ty shushed him.
It sounded to Ethan like the President was speaking; he ignored it.
“You need to listen to this,” Ty began turning up the sound.
“Please. I can’t even stand hearing that idiot’s—” Ethan suddenly heard the words ‘nuclear attack’ and ‘Atlanta’ in the same sentence. “What the hell?”
The president was somewhere giving a news conference and taking questions.
“… all we know at this point, Liz, is that two very powerful explosive devices—and let me be clear, I’ve been advised at this point not to actually call them nuclear bombs because that’s not actually what they were, I’m told—detonated at almost exactly the same time in the cities of Dallas and Atlanta. The explosions have collapsed and destroyed several high-rise buildings in these downtown areas …”
“Holy, shit—” left Ethan’s mouth. He was now looking at a side-by-side split screen that the news network was now showing of the president’s speech and smoke that was still rising from one of the cities. The helicopter flying over the devastation looked as if several building had been destroyed, utterly into rubble, right next to a tall black building that appeared to be untouched.
“… I can take a few questions, and I’ll do my best to answer what I can.” The president continued.
“Mr. President! Mr. President!” Another reporter butted into the questioning. “Are we assuming that this was indeed a terrorist attack at this point? And if so, has anyone taken responsibility?”
“Yes, at this point we are calling this a terrorist attack. But that could change. A number of ISIL factions are claiming responsibility. We don’t know which ones are credible, if any. However, many in the intelligence community are ruling out religious involvement. This appears to look like the same kinds of weapons that were used by the Wraith a few months ago.”
“Mr. President—is this attack a reprisal for the destruction of the Dome of the Rock by an Israeli air force pilot last year?”
“Again, I’m being told that this was an ionic device. I don’t know that we can make that connection at this point …”
“Jeeze, loaded questions, already?” Ty frowned.
“You think these questions are planted?” Ethan asked.
“They are, Ethan. People all over the world are watching this press conference. It’s all propaganda, designed to look like news. It’s pin the blame on the invisible bad guys, ISIL, the Wraith, anyone.”
“The Wraith have been pretty quiet.”
“Exactly. The U.N. declared war and they have no enemy. They’re looking pretty stupid right now.”
“You think the Seven planted those explosives?”
“I do. They need better control of this government and its populations right now. It’s a little out of control.”
“You mean because of the secessionists.”
Ty nodded. “The end game will be to incrementally implement martial law to reign them in.”
“I don’t know, Ty, that really sounds like some ratchet conspiracy theory,” Ethan began, “I’m betting The Wraith actually planted those bombs. Just to let people know they’re still a threat.”
“The Wraith didn’t plant those devices, Ethan. The attack only killed a few hundred people. It could have been worse, a lot worse. They weren’t really trying to kill people. If you ask me, it looks like they may have been trying break into the Dominion.”
“Dominion. The church?”
“Oh, Ethan,” Ty grumped, “for a god, you are just dense sometimes.”
“I don’t know, Ty. You never tell me anything and then you just expect me to know stuff.”
Ty sighed. “Alright. You’re right. I do need to talk more.” Ty agreed. “Look at who got attacked here—”
“The two states that were talking secession? The government is trying to bully them.”
“That is what everyone is going to be thinking. But look more closely at the blast zones.”
Ethan looked again, noticing the rubble surrounding the tall dark glass buildings.
“All the other buildings crumbled. Why didn’t these?” Ethan pointed at the two still pics Ty brought up on the tablet’s browser.
“Because those buildings—are Dominion.”
“Why would they want to blow up a church?”
“Dominion isn’t just a church; it’s a front for one of the most powerful clans on Earth. Whoever attacked those cities last night used a really advanced ion explosive. It crumbled the human skyscrapers, but it wasn’t able to touch the Dominion structures.”
“Why not?”
“Because they’re not really buildings. They’re Reflex towers; the power centers—of the gods.”
“Really?”
Ty nodded.
“So these people who attacked, they have to know who they’re up against, right?” Ethan asked.
Ty again nodded. “Whoever they are, they’re testing the defenses of the Ra.” Ty clicked off the iPad. “They’re going to do it, Ethan. The election’s next week.”
“You think he’ll really try to suspend the elections?”
“They’ve already declared war. There’s now been a major attack on America soil. In a day or two, you watch. They’ll say it’s too dangerous to be transitioning from one administration to another during a time of open war when advanced bombs are going off leveling buildings in American cities.”
“And once they have martial control?” Ethan asked.
“Then people like us; you can kiss our asses goodbye.”
“What do we do?”
“We need to leave, Ethan.”
“And go where?”
“There’s only one place I know where we’ll be safe.”

H e walked along the miles-long, ver
y tall, and ornately pillared hall. An invisible field of something he didn’t understand separated him and the comfort of the massive corridor from the cold hard and barely-there atmosphere at the top of the stratosphere. The curve of the Earth beautifully visible, the bright sun was just now setting behind the globe. Magnetic colored lights danced across the northern hemisphere in wave after wave of scintillating auroras.
Meandering the open promenade corridor for miles, Rowan’s mind was filled with a lifetime of memories and thoughts. Times like these were often his only version of a real walkabout. It gave him time to think. Time to think about who he was and what he’d been doing for the past few hundred years. He knew he needed a change. The past year had brought change. Friends were now enemies and enemies were now his friends. Still, the one friend throughout his life had been constant. Maybe she was the one piece of fate that kept him honest with himself, despite his failings.
She stepped out of nothing. “Sorry to keep you waiting.”
Rowan smiled at her. “You can keep me waiting all day.”
“I was rude. I’m sorry.”
“No worries.” He leaned against a pillar looking out at the freezing clouds and scintillating colors of the Northern Lights below. “So how is it you seem to come by all of the really good toys when I’m stuck diggin’ junk out of the dirt?” Rowan’s eyes scanned the beautiful promenade of the epic vessel. “Never seen one this big before.”
“It’s Fifth Era,” she smiled. “Nemesis class.”
“Christ. I gotta start hangin’ around you more often.” He pushed away from the pillar as they began walking away from the promenade and toward a massive domed structure that was part of their vessel.
“How many do we have now?” Brenda asked.
“Thirty. Eyes all different colors. Even got a couple of purple ones for you. Be bringin’ them up later today. And here’s your bonus. One’s even preggers already.”
