Puzzles In Darkness: Beginning

  Kyzeip looked around and didn't see detective Isaac anywhere in the crowd. Kyzeip thought: “where's detective asshole, I don't see him”. Tea replied: “I’s no I’s saw him standing over there, he must have moved”. Kyzeip thought: “nothing left to do but to leave a message, are you ready Exzeer”. Exzeer thought: “ready as I will ever be”. Exzeer turned on the speakers and put the volume on full blast, word for word Exzeer repeated everything Kyzeip thought to him. Everyone in all of Reathdos watch what happens next. “It's time, it's time for a change, a change from being under the thumb of tyrants like him. We the Graveyard Dragons will bring that change by going after these tyrants. I repeat, we will only be going after these tyrants, not the taxpayers, not the law enforcement, but the tyrants only. Get all the protection you want for yourself, it will only prove your guilt and it won't save you from us. One by one a tyrant will fall, we won't stop until there's the change we want, the change that all the people in Reathdos deserve. The eighteenth century will be known as the century of change and that change will start right now”.

  Kyzeip thru Ram Zee on the ground and blasted his unconscious body into ash. In no time screams were heard, some yelled cut the feed right now. Kyzeip took the time he had to throw his smoke bomb on the ground, smoke surrounded him as all the cops started firing blind. In an instant the smoke cleared and Kyzeip was gone, the cops started to charging into the city hall to look for him, but it was pointless. Kyzeip returned to the rooftop to Rolando with Exzeer and ordered Rolando to “hold on”. Rolando hold onto Kyzeip and once more he teleported out of Odis and back to the gentlemen's club on Medea. Rolando worriedly asked: “are you okay”? Kyzeip answered: “I’m as good as going to be, nothing like a good long night's sleep won't heal, there's just one thing left to do”.

  Chapter 24: For Now

  Kyzeip and the rest of the Graveyard Dragons walked in, Kyzeip collapsed to the floor immediately, Exzeer and Rolando helped him to sit down against a wall. Flowers appeared and said: “oh Exzyy, I'm so happy you're okay, oh no what happened to you”. Exzeer replied: “oh it's nothing, I just got, disarmed”. Tea yelled: “BOO, BOO, BOO ON U's”. Exzeer responded with: “fuck you I was trying to light up the mood dumbass”. Rutilius respond: “with the lightning maniac over here, that would of be impossible”. Flowers asked: “did the plan fail, is that why Alex isn't here and why you are all beaten up”? Kyzeip answered: “no, we failed in capturing Alexander, but we were able kill Ram Zee and the whole world got to watch”. Rolando said: “ya it was a fate long overdue, but I hope you can now rest easy knowing this”.

  Flowers started to cry with a smile on her face, as tiers fell down her face her body started to disappear. Flowers said: “thank you, you have no idea how free I feel knowing he won't hurt anyone else's, that's all I wanted”. Exzeer sadly said: “Flowers please don't go, you and I can still be together”. Kyzeip said: “didn't you hear, she said she was free, there's nothing left for her to still be a pure brain, with no purpose there's no longer a reason for her existence, that's the sad truth”. Exzeer said: “then why can't I be your purpose of staying in this world, we can still be together till the very end”. Flowers replied: “it's my wish for us to be together, but I'm afraid it won't come true, because you already fulfilled my other wish”. Exzeer said: “than this is goodbye”. Flowers replied: “I guess so”. Kyzeip said: “wait, before you leave Flowers I have something to say. If I’m wrong about pure brains and that there really is a heaven, find my mother and tell her “I love you”, can you do that for me”. Flowers said: “it's a promise”.

  Flowers dissipated in front of everyone and before long she was gone into nothing, Exzeer sadly said: “why is it whenever some good comes from this world, it burns to ash, I need a smoke”. Rutilius said: “you do realize she was already dead right”. Exzeer replied: “but her heart was alive”. Tea, crying his eyes out said: “stop talking like dat, U's making me cry like a little bitch”. Rutilius said: “looks like Flowers was the only one that ended up with a happy ending”. Exzeer respond: “hey, you called her by her name instead of Savage”. Rutilius said: “yes I did, while I was scouting out the party I heard some nasty conversations, Conversation that made me question just how bad a Human being can be”. Kyzeip said: “that's the kind of thinking that ended the great war, Humans questioned their actions and saw that they were more Savage than the Kreetons”. Rutilius asked: “but if that's true how did humankind win”. Exzeer answered: “because we Kreetons lost faith in our traditions, when we realized we can no longer live with Broots, we choose to live with humans instead”. Rolando added: “but then the government abused its power on us Kreetons, they pushed us to rebel and create Gynezz”. Kyzeip finished: “once we fix the government we can start having some peace between Humans and Kreetons in Reathdos”.

  Exzeer said: “well a man can dream and considering we can all dream big, one day we might make it a reality”. Tea said: “unless Great tech does it first, then we fucked”. Rutilius said: “Mr. Arry please don't ruin the mood, that's Kyzeip’s job”. Exzeer said: “so, how long do you think it will be till the GFM finds out about tonight”. Kyzeip replied: “they must already know by now, I planed on using the broadcast from the start”. Exzeer replied: “but won't they alter the footage in some way to hide our message”. Kyzeip sarcastically replied: “you're right, they’ll just take back the LIVE footage that was broadcast all over Reathdos at the EXACT same time as our attack was done and change it”. Exzeer asked: “wait, how do you know it was still being broadcast live”? Kyzeip answered: “they always broadcast the new year countdown live, with this one being the biggest celebration there wouldn't be any excuse for not broadcasting. Not to forget that there was a terrorist attack right after the countdown, I can't imagine the media passing up a story like the one we created”. Exzeer said: “oh shit, you really did fought things through”. Kyzeip replied: “if you need more proof, ask Rolando to call Maxizz or Increst back on Evie, they must've seen it by now”.

  Rolando took out his phone and called Maxizz, he put it on speaker for everyone to hear: “My Maxizz, have thee seen the news”. Exzeer thought to Kyzeip: “why is he talking like that”? Kyzeip replied: “everyone else thinks that's how he talks”. Maxizz says over the phone: “yeah, you saw it too, that was crazy, everyone is talking about. The counselor was going to make speech when that graveyard dragon guy killed the guy that was dressed like a pimp and the counselor swore right into the mic. It was hilarious, he got so embarrassed and started to rambling on about how sorry he was, you should of been here”. Rolando asked: “so what do thee think of it”? Maxizz replied: “I think it was incredible, I mean someone actually delivered Justice to one of the government's leech, I hope the graveyard dragons are going to bring change to the world like they said, but realistically they might have just gotten lucky, what do you think of them”. Rolando replied: “my thoughts be in hopes for a better tomorrow, enjoy thy feast”. Maxizz replied: “thanks, have a good year”.

  Maxizz hanged up and Kyzeip said: “there you have it, tonight we made history and we’ve only just begun”. Exzeer said: “we have our work cut out for us, the hidden elite are supposed to be all Slayers, neither of the two we fought that kicked our ass’s used any weapons or Element Crystals”. Kyzeip said: “that's why we can't fight them again until we get support from the GFM, it isn't like Gynezz is going to help us since there funded by Great tech”. Exzeer said: “I’ll leave that work to you, I lost a fight, an arm, and the women I loved, I done for night, see you in the morning”. Exzeer laid back and fell asleep, Tea said: “hey grandpa dude, we’s never been in his dream, I’s going in”. Tea pulled Rutilius into Exzeer’s dream leaving Kyzeip and Rolando awake and alone.

  Rolando looked at Kyzeip for some time and finally decided to talk to him in thought: “so what are you planning on doing know”. Kyzeip replied: “after tonight I don't think I’m longer needed in Evie Academy”. Rolando responded: “what, why”? Kyzeip thought: “I en
tered Evie Academy to gain fighting experience to kill corrupt man in the government, I finished my training with my assassin and I killed a target like I was supposed to, why would stay”. Rolando thought: “but you were going to be the team leader, we all look up to you and we’ll miss you if you leave, but mostly Increst will”. Kyzeip replied: “there's also a risk of me staying in Evie Academy, remember the detective from the building cleansing mission, he was there, Tea told me so and I don't believe he would lie about something like that”. Rolando replied: “that's your reason for leaving, you had a great disguise on, I’m sure he won't recognize you”. Kyzeip thought: “but he's the son of the great asshole that took down most of the GFM long ago and I think Jr wants to finish of the job”. Rolando replied: “you're thinking too much into it, his father was famous right, so maybe he was there at the party from the start”. Kyzeip took a minute to think about what Rolando said and replied: “good logic, you know what just for that I think I might still stay for a while, there's still some potential in team 4 of a kind”. Rolando thought: “glad to hear that, I love it if team 4 of a kind would became close like a family”.

  As the mood became lighter Rolando had one more thing to say: “so Kyzeip, how did it feel to take a life”. Kyzeip thought: “honestly, if felt heavy and cold on my back, I always thought I was responsible to someone else's death back when I was selling drugs on the streets. My view of it was if someone wanted to escape reality so bad that they go through the risk of taking unknown drugs, then its no different from committing suicide. I viewed life as a gimmick, some lives are worth staying in this world and others are not, that's is why I was trained by an assassin to take the lives of those that are not needed in this world, and that was my idea of being needed in this world”. Rolando thought: “and has your view changed in any way”. Kyzeip said: “I don't know how to view life anymore, when I killed Ram Zee, in a quick second I saw him as a pure brain as he disappeared right before me as I teleported out. There’s clearly more I need to learn, if I end up finding out what I’m doing is wrong and end up in a hell I didn't think existed, I will at least end up there with no regret”. Rolando thought: “I can’t imagine what you or Exzeer had to go through on Skaiza, but it sounds like you were already in hell, I hope I can help you turn Reathdos into a better place”. Kyzeip replied: “I will accept that help, but we already did all we can do for now, for now let’s sleep”.

  Just what is imagination? Is it a trait we gain in evolution, or do we use it to further evolve? Look around you and ask yourself, where did all of our stuff originated from? From something big like homes and tools to skills like cooking or painting. Everything we do was once part of some else's imagination. Animals have instincts to adapt to the environment they're in. But we can cut down trees, grow our own food, and we make our own rules, we make the environment adapt to us. As we fear the unknown letting our imagination take the better of us, it's only when we overcome our fear of the unknown and discover new knowledge to be passed down. Somewhere along the line we traded our instinct for imagination, because of that we gain knowledge, knowledge to further evolve our race over the rest of the animal kingdom.
