DIRTY ROCKER: A Rock Star Romance

Page 12

by SC Daiko

“God, I want you,” I rasped.

She placed her hands behind her head, offering herself to me. “Come between my legs, Pierce.”

I grabbed a condom from the nightstand and sheathed myself while she spread herself wide. After slotting my cock between us, I fisted the base of my erection and guided my dick to the space flanked by her thighs. Rolling my hips, I brushed her swollen clit with my pelvis, and rocked my entire length backwards and forwards. She clenched herself around my shaft.

With a groan, I grasped her wrists and kept them pinned behind her head. I pushed fast and firm, relinquishing the slowness for a rapid pace. Biting pleasure rippled through me with every thrust. She was coming apart, unable to control her whimpers. I devoured her mouth with mine, then nipped and bit at her neck.

“Christ, Hayley.” My groans sounded animalistic in my ear. “Lose yourself. I need you to climax.” I let her wrists go and fitted my hand between us, my fingers pinching her clit. I pushed down hard on her, thrusting into her apex with my cock, and swirling my hips in circles.

She lifted herself to meet me, and came within seconds, crying out my name. “Pierce!!!”

I sat back on my knees and fisted my cock, grunting as my balls drew up tight into my body. I ripped off the condom, tossed my head back and, with a grunt, shot my load onto her luscious tits. Our sweat-sticky bodies melded as I collapsed on top of her. I pressed my lips to her forehead.

“That was so freaking hot.” She kissed my chest.

I stroked her shoulders, whispering how much I loved her and how I was so fucking proud of her.

Out of the blue, my cellphone rang on the nightstand. What the fuck?!

I reached for it. Checked the caller ID. Dad.

Bloody hell, his timing was spot-on. Not.

“What now?” I barked down the line.

“Thought you should know. Ramos has been spotted in France. It was on the evening news…”

  Shit. Shit. Shit.

“Have you transferred the money yet?” Dad went on to ask.

“I’ll get onto it first thing.”

  Fucking blackmailer.

I disconnected the call. Hayley had gone to get a washcloth from the bathroom. I sat still while she cleaned us up.

She tilted her head toward me. “What’s wrong?”

I wrapped my arms around her and told her. “It doesn’t necessarily mean Ramos will head for the Far East. But we’ll have to be careful. Just in case.”

She leaned away from me. “Have you told the band about him breaking parole yet?”

  “I’ll fill them in tomorrow.”

They needed to know, of course they did. But how the fuck will I come clean about something I should have come clean about years ago? The guys knew nothing about my past. They had no clue about my connection with Ramos.

  Chapter 23

  Hayley

Pierce called a band meeting the morning after we’d arrived in Tokyo. “I want you to be there with me, sweetheart,” he said after he’d messaged Jake. “I’ll need your support.” He paused and took a sip of his breakfast coffee. “There’s something I haven’t fully explained to you…”

  “Oh?” I crossed my arms.

He glanced away from me. “The guys don’t know about me and Ramos.” His deep blue eyes swept back to me, and I saw how he was hurting. Saw the guilt he still carried for his teacher’s death.

“Oh, honey,” I took his cup from him, and climbed into his lap. “Of course, I’ll be there for you. I’ll always be there for you.”

He kissed me…a kiss full of sadness. “As I’ll be there for you, love.” He lifted me and put me down on the carpeted floor. “Guess we’d better go and face the music.”

I threaded my fingers through his, and we made our way to Jake’s executive suite.

I watched the guys’ expressions as Pierce told his story. I was expecting them to be pissed at him for not fessing up before…but I was wrong. They jumped up in unison and formed a huddle around him, clapping him on the back and saying how sorry they were.

“I remember the incident,” Axel murmured. “Fucking terrible.”

Jake took a more pragmatic stance. “What makes you think Ramos could afford the expense of travel to the Far East? I mean, he doesn’t come from a wealthy background and he’s been in jail for a decade…”

Pierce shook his head. “He made thousands from his drug trafficking and extortion activities, but the police weren’t able to recover the loot.”

  “Fuck,” Zach exclaimed.

“Yeah,” Pierce said. “His parents returned to the Philippines shortly after he was given a life sentence. Maybe they took his dirty money home with them? They could send him the cash now.”

Rhys flipped his long, dark hair from his rugged face. “I don’t get why you’re so worried…we have excellent security. Our own personal bodyguards. I think you’re being a bit paranoid, man.”

“I hope to God that’s the case,” Pierce muttered, pulling a drumstick from his jeans pocket, and spinning it between his knuckles.

Jake rubbed at his chin. “I’ll warn Mike and Joe. Ensure they’re extra vigilant.” He turned to me. “You okay about this, Hayley? Not scared?”

“Nope. I’m good.” And I was. In my heart of hearts, I thought Pierce was acting a tad obsessive about Ramos. But I didn’t blame him, not after all he’d gone through…

Jake picked up his tablet and started to search. “This is the statement Ramos made shortly before he was paroled.” He raised the device to eye level and began to read, “I did a terrible thing when I killed Mr. Phillips...I have been rightly punished and I have always understood that I should not be released until I had changed and was no longer dangerous...I know that some people will not be able to accept that I have changed or that I should be allowed my freedom,” Jake continued reading. “I also know that I will spend the rest of my life atoning for my crime and mean to do so by living quietly and decently.”

“He’s a fucking liar.” Pierce barked out a mocking laugh. “The fact he’s broken parole is proof of his deceit.” He drummed his sticks against his thigh. “I don’t trust him, and, until he’s re-arrested, I’ll do everything I can to make sure Hayley is kept safe.”

“We’ll all support you, eh, guys?” Axel opened his arms. “Group hug time?”

It was what they did before every concert. My heart melted as I watched the five of them. ChiMera closed ranks when the going got tough for any one of them, and I wished Pierce had fessed up to them beforehand.

If he’d done so, maybe he wouldn’t have felt so lost and alone that he’d felt the need to almost drink himself to death?

“Wanna hit the shops?” Camila suggested when she dropped by my suite for a coffee, after the rockers had left for the arena to carry out sound checks and meet selected fans.

“Sorry, can’t.” I spread my hands wide.

“Oh, yeah.” She looked me up and down. “You’re a celebrity now. Those pics the paps took of you and Foxy in Singapore are trending all over social media.”

“Sorry,” I said again, touching my hand to hers. I wished I could explain about Pierce’s paranoia, but his secret wasn’t mine to tell.

“I miss hanging out with ya, girlfriend,” she huffed.

My belly twisted with regret, and I racked my brains for an alternative activity she would enjoy. I suddenly remembered she liked being pampered. “How about we chill together in the hotel spa?”

“Cool.” Her eyes danced. “I’ll book us a massage.”

  “Sounds like a plan.”

I retrieved my swimsuit from my suitcase while she placed a call to the wellness center. They weren’t busy and could fit us in immediately. We stopped by her room, then made our way to the elevator. “The massage will involve hot stones,” Camila informed me as we stepped through the doors of the spa.

“Not sure I’ll like that,” I hesitated.

“It’s awesome,” she reassured me. “You’ll love it.”<

My masseuse, a young woman, shyly requested a selfie with her before my session started. Her name was Michiko, and I told her to call me Hayley. She asked me to lie face down on the table before getting to work, hooking into my muscles with the warm stones, kneading, applying pressure and then vibrating them to drive the heat deeper. I breathed in the soothing scent of incense and, little by little, I felt myself start to relax. I thought back to Pierce inserting his finger into me last night, how painful it had been. Except, the pain had soon morphed into the most intense pleasure. Maybe I’d be ready soon to receive his cock? It would hurt like hell, I knew it would, but exploring my entrance this past week had taught me a lot about how flexible it was. I loved him so much and I wanted him inside me, wanted our bodies to be joined like our hearts and souls.

When I met up with Camila in the sauna afterward, I decided to ask her if she’d known anyone who suffered from Vaginismus. She was my bestie—we’d been close for years—I could trust her with my deepest secret, just like Pierce had just trusted his best buddies.

She gave me a sympathetic smile. “I’ve heard about the condition but have never met anyone with it. Is that what your problem is, sweetie?”

I nodded. “How did you know I had a problem?”

“One, you never dated.” She ticked off the point on her finger. “Two, you froze every time I ever mentioned anything sexual.” Another tick. “I hope Foxy has been understanding?” Her smile wavered.

“He’s amazing. Incredibly patient. Sex with him is so freaking hot.” I glanced down at my hands. “We do everything except fourth base.” Sudden tears filled my eyes. “I think something might have happened in my past that I’ve blocked from my mind. I might have suffered some kind of trauma.” My voice shook. “I’ve researched my condition and sexual abuse can cause the phobia which leads to the muscle involuntarily tightening.”

It was her turn to touch her hand to mine. “Aw, sweetie. I’m so sorry. Do you have any idea who could have done that to ya?”

“No. It was definitely not my dad. I loved and trusted him totally.” I narrowed my eyes. “I used to go to summer camp up until I was old enough to stay home alone while my parents were at work. I don’t remember every single detail so I’m wondering if something could have gone down that I’ve deliberately forgotten…”

“Hmm. Selective memory loss.” She tapped her chin. “Have you considered, maybe, undergoing hypnosis?”

I shook my head. “I knew it was an option, but I’ve never felt the need. With Pierce’s support, I could look into getting hypnotized when we’re back in LA.”

“Know that I’m there for you too, sweets. Foxy and I will get you through it. Then you can go after whoever did that to you.”

My stomach froze. “Thanks, but, if anything did happen, it was a long time ago…”

She pulled me in for a hug. “Your body belongs to you. No one should think they have the right to violate it. It’s completely your decision, babes. I’m here for you, whatever you decide.”

“Thanks.” I squirmed from her hold. It was time to change the subject. “It’s freaking hot in here.” I wiped steam from the side of my face. “Why don’t we have a swim? Afterward, we could pig out on ice cream before Joe takes us to the arena.”

“Perfect plan,” she smiled. “Just like old times, girlfriend…”

“I’m still the same Hayley,” I reminded her. “And you’ll always be my bestie.”

“Aw, thanks, sweetie,” she said, looping her arm through mine as we headed toward the spa’s indoor pool. “When are you gonna ask me to be your maid of honor at you wedding?”

“Like, now,” I snickered at her forthrightness. “Will you be my maid of honor?”

“I’d love that.” She nudged my shoulder. “But I’ll also want to be your stylist.”

“I wouldn’t have anyone else.” I released a deep breath. “Pierce and I haven’t discussed whether we’ll have kids yet. But, if we did, I’d want you to be Godmother to our first.”

“I’d be honored.” She lowered her voice, “Except I’m worried you’re getting married and haven’t talked about if you’ll start a family.” Her eyes snapped to mine. “I hope you don’t think I’m interfering, but you should sort that one out.”

I chewed at my lip. “Yeah. I should.” She was right. Pierce and I needed to talk it through. I set my jaw.

And it would be best if we did that sooner rather than later.

  Chapter 24

  Pierce

I sat on my drum throne upstage and clacked my sticks together three times, signaling to the guys to come in on the third clack. It was the last song of our final set at the farewell concert of our tour.

Axel stood motionless on the catwalk. He lifted his mic and the spotlight fell on him. The crowd roared, Zach’s hands crashed down on the keyboards, Rhys shredded his guitar, and I smashed my cymbals and thrashed my skins like a madman as the music ripped out of us.

We launched into ‘Harbor in the Storm’ and I went onto autopilot, allowing myself a moment of reflection. It has been a week since I’d fessed up to my bandmates in Tokyo about Ramos…a week during which they’d shown their total support. They might not have believed Danilo posed a threat—they hadn’t known him like I had—but they were completely accepting of my need to protect Hayley, of my reluctance for the two of us to leave our hotels in Tokyo, Seoul and Manila, and of my insisting Joe stick to us like glue whenever going out was unavoidable.

I suppressed a shudder. Tonight, Jake had organized what he called ‘a big bash’ at a fancy nightclub. It would be disrespectful if Hayley and I didn’t show our faces…our entire crew would be attending the celebration before they flew home to the US tomorrow.

  Unlike us…

My stomach churned. Jake had surprised the bands with the offer of a break on an exclusive private island resort one hundred and fifty miles southwest of here. “You’ll be safe, Pierce,” he’d tried to reassure me. “I checked that all the staff are vetted.” He’d squeezed my shoulder. “We’ll be the only guests there.”

I wasn’t convinced it would be such a good idea, but I couldn’t turn down the opportunity for Hayley to have some fun. So, I’d swallowed my misgivings and decided the risk was practically non-existent. If Ramos had gotten as far as the Philippines, he’d have less chance of finding me on a remote island than here in Manila. Especially given that Jake had confirmed he wouldn’t be revealing details of our short vacation to the press.

The audience chanting the chorus of our song reminded me I should concentrate on my drumming. I didn’t want to come in late on the final riff. Flicking a lock of hair out of my eyes, I drummed like my life depended on it, twirling my sticks in the air, and then catching them for show.

“Thank you, Manila,” Axel spoke into the mic after the set finished. “You’ve been awesome. We hope you enjoyed the concert.”

The crowd went wild, screaming and whistling as we took our bows. I blew out a breath of relief. We’d gotten to the end of the tour.

I swayed Hayley in my arms while we danced together at the party. Her eyes sparkled with excitement. “Jake said we can choose between staying in a beach cottage, with a hammock on the front veranda, or a secluded jungle villa, with an ocean view from the bedroom. Oh, and the villa has an outdoor bath out back overlooking the forest.” She caught her bottom lip with her teeth. “Which would you prefer?”

“Are we expected to sleep in the hammocks?” I slid my hands down her lovely body and cupped her peachy ass.

She giggled. “No, silly. They’re for relaxing in.” She chewed her lip again. “I kinda like the idea of an outdoor bath, but I’m worried about being bitten by the bugs.”

“They’re not the only creatures who’ll bite you,” I smirked. “You decide, sweetheart. I’m happy as long as you are…”

“Right back at ya, honey.” She swept her gaze toward Jake, who was spinning a Filipino movie star across the floor. “I’m kinda tired.” She pre
ssed herself against me. “Is it too early for us to leave?”

“Nah, we’ve done our duty. Let’s go see if Axel and Phoenix wanna go back to the hotel with us.”

Hayley rested her hand on my arm, balancing on her killer heels as we walked past Camila, who was rock ‘n rolling with Vanilla Sky’s stylist, Megan. Camila gave us a wave. “See you back in LA…”

Half an hour later, Hayley and I were sitting with Axel and Phoenix in the back of the rented Mercedes SUV as we approached the hotel, Joe driving and Mike riding shotgun.

I glanced at Axel. The expression on his face was like a cat that had just swallowed a bowl full of cream. “What’s up?” I asked.

“Phoenix went for a pre-natal checkup at a private clinic this afternoon. I’ll let her tell ya…”

“Everything okay?” Hayley turned toward her.

She bounced her gaze from Hayley to me and back to Hayley again. “We found out the sex of our baby.” A smile gleamed in her eyes. “We’re having a girl.”

“Oh, wow! That’s totally awesome.” Hayley pulled them in for a hug.

“Congrats, mate.” I reached across and shook Axel’s hand. Then I kissed Phoenix on the cheek. “Great news.”

  “Thanks,” they both said.

We’d arrived at the hotel, but Joe had to circle ’round to the back of the building…there were fans and paps blocking the entrance. I scanned their faces as we drove past, and my chest tightened. Was Ramos out there? I fucking hope not…

Within minutes, we were riding the elevator up from the basement parking lot. Hayley melded herself to me, and I felt the need in her body. If we’d been alone, I’d have pushed her against the side of the lift and kissed her breathless.

We left Axel and Phoenix at the door to their suite and headed down the corridor toward ours. I slid our key into the reader, and we tumbled into the room we were so fucking desperate. I pulled her toward me and crashed my mouth down on hers, taking possession, penetrating her with my tongue. I unzipped her dress, and it fell to the carpeted floor.
