Everybody is in silence and I’m starting to get scared, but luckily, Álvaro starts talking soon:
“Martina, I wanted to bring all my family, yours and your friends, so they can be witnesses of what I have to say.”
I see he’s shivering and he’s a bit pale.
I squeeze his hands so he knows I’m with him, that whatever it is I’m by his side.
“I want to ask you to marry me.” He says all of a sudden.
Suddenly, things change and it’s me who is shivering and pale.
He looks at me with that gaze he only uses with me, the rest are in silence and I even think none of them are breathing until I can say:
“Yes, of course I want.”
I see how he has more color in his face and kisses me first in the hand as he always does and then in my lips with much passion, I forget about everybody who is there and that they clap like crazy.
When we’re back to Earth, everybody comes to kiss and congratulate us.
My witches are crying.
Carla is very happy and tells me:
“I knew you were meant for each other, when I saw you together the day of the concert I knew you were crazy in love.”
When I sit at my place, just on my plate there is a small box.
The guests see that I notice it and there’s silence again.
I take it very carefully, open it and freak out with the ring with diamond included. I read inside of it the name of my love.
“Oh, thank you, it’s beautiful, Álvaro.”
Unavoidable, we kiss again until I look at him and tell him:
“I love you.”
With a big smile, that I haven’t seen many times, he tells me:
“I love you more.”
And just like that, among kisses, relatives, friends, and a ring… it starts a new story.

I can’t believe I’m writing this last part of my first novel titled Take Him!
I ventured to write this novel because I had always had the idea in my head, and after a hard period in my life I needed to escape from everything and everybody. Writing was my therapy and it achieved the desired effect of peace inside of me.
I’m happy with the result, despite it took me time to share it. But I wish to do it and I want to continue with some other new stories.

I was born in Santa Maria de Palautordera on the 7th of November of 1984.
A dreamer since I was a kid and a big reader since very young. I became a fanatic consumer of books of all genders, but especially romantic gender.
I live in Sant Pere de Vilamajor, a beautiful and quiet village near Barcelona, with my boy.
I’m a Primary school teacher, but thanks to the situation in my country, I don’t practice. I survive thanks to a family business that helps me to pay my bills and continue buying books.
