“You what?” I hiss, bringing my hand down with a loud smack across the cheeks. Bright red appears just like her blush as she moans. “Why didn’t you tell me?” I reprimand.
“I had a plan.” She shrugs. “Your parents wanted to take Caiden for a weekend; I wanted to get pregnant.” That fucking shrug again. “I’m ovulating. Now.” The way she looks from my eyes to my weeping dick says I better get my shit together and fuck a baby into her before my time’s up.
“Fuck, I love you,” I hiss as I slide my cock into her tight core. Nothing feels more like home than her pussy to me.
When we found out about Caiden, I’d never seen her cry so much before. Terrified that she’d be like her own mother and leave this earth before he had a chance to really know her, she’s obsessive about her health and checkups. Making sure she doesn’t have cancer the way her mom did. Having my parents around has helped with her anxiety.
The fact she’s ready for another baby indicates to me that some of her fears are lessening. Grace is ready to expand our family, and I’m ready to get the workout in.
Impregnating Grace has become my favorite thing in the world. She gives herself to me in a way the outside world doesn’t see. She becomes bolder and more demanding.
“Harder, Onyx,” she pleads, and I’m only too happy to accommodate as I thrust in and out of her with rapid strokes.
“Oh god.” Her pussy tightens, and I know she’s going over the edge, and like always, she takes me with her. Bringing heaven to our doors.
Exhaustion nearly swallows me whole as I follow Caiden, our now five-year-old, and Emilia, our eighteen-month-old, down to the ice cream truck as the annoying music plays. I used to love bringing them here. Treating them to ice cream.
With the heat of summer and twins in my belly, I seriously debate calling my husband to do the task for me. Any day, I’ll be ready to pop, and the fool man couldn’t be prouder of himself.
We decided on having two children but that I’d stop taking birth control for one more year, and if we happened to fall pregnant, so be it. When the doctor told us this time was twins, Onyx cheered. Actually cheered in the doctor’s office.
I love my family, but these twins are tiring me out more than I was told they would. While the kids run together, Caid holding Emy’s hand only the way a big brother would, I waddle my way over and regret not buying the golf cart the realtor had shown Onyx when we purchased the house.
He’d been so impressed with how perceptive the realtor was, he hadn’t questioned it until we were moving in. It was a fixer-upper, but he was more than ready for the job, and Marty was constantly over helping. When he fell in love with our neighbor’s teenage daughter, no one had been more shocked than Onyx.
“What are you doing, Gracie?” is whispered behind me as hands fall on my hips, stopping me from tripping over my own two feet. Again. Turns out pregnancy makes me clumsier.
“Enjoying our babies.” I smile as Caid tells Emy which treats are what. When she tries to point to the picture of a Dora the Explorer ice cream bar, Caid picks her up so she can touch it. The purple will stain her dress, but I don’t even care.
“Sit.” Onyx guides me to one of the many benches that line the streets of our gated community. “I’ll get them settled.” Always my savior.
Our love may have started out awkwardly, but we’ve grown together, and I don’t think I’d be happier with anyone who isn’t Detective Onyx Inwood, the most honorable man I know.
As he twirls our princess around, I know I’ve lucked out with him. He’s the perfect half to my soul I never knew I was missing. With Onyx, I’ve found perfection.

Chapter One
“Crux Malcolm, it is with our sincerest apologies that you are free to go with the double jeopardy play in affect regarding all previous charges and convictions.” The bang of the judge’s gavel sets free the smirk I’ve been holding back.
They had me.
Lock, stock and smocking fucking barrel.
But he fucked up.
The prosecutor took a bribe three years ago and planted evidence. A single fingerprint that never existed. Not there. Not at that scene.
Warner got what was coming to him. Neither of us knew it then, but from the first time he touched her, he was dead.
Farren Hallewell.
Sweet girl next door.
Virtuous. Untouched.
Mine.
He thought he had a right, he was wrong. Before he took his last breath, I made sure he knew. I swore vengeance that day and no matter how desperate his pleas for mercy were, I gave none.
The only regret I have is missing these years with her. Not being here to protect her. No one knew why I did what I did. They thought I was the hot head bad boy child of the Malcolm dynasty. I’m not. I wasn’t then either.
I was meticulous, smart. I plotted and planned.
I underestimated the lengths his brother would go through.
I know now. I may have a temper, but I can put it on a stranglehold. As long as I have her with me. Always with me.
I watched Farren for years. She’s one of the shiest people I’ve never met in my life. When I was eighteen and she was ten, her and her mother moved into Jeffrey Warner’s home. It didn’t take long to see that Farren’s mother, Leslie, didn’t give two shits about the girl.
It took less time for me to see the way Jeffrey watched her. Being sent to college was the worst thing to ever happen to me. For the next four years, I saw Farren sporadically and each time I knew.
I fucking knew she was hurting. I knew he was monopolizing her, but I had no idea how to confirm it or even to stop it.
And then it happened.
Late at night, when my house was quiet, I saw…Jeffrey’s shadow in the glow of a small lamp in her room. He stalked her across the room and when I saw his disgusting meaty paw touch her chest, I began to plot and plan.
His death was coming by my hand.
