You Will Bow Down

“You did it, my King, you defeated Evander!” Giancarlo said with great gusto.

I could only barely understand the meaning behind his words, I was too out of it to take it all in. Evander arched and a volcanic eruption of blood bubbled up from his mouth, splashing down his scaled torso onto the floor and any dragon that was unfortunate enough to be standing too close. He twitched and thrashed several times until his body went limp and he fell to the floor with a thunderous vibration. Again, the room shook, but Evander remained still. We all watched as his body began to revert back to its human form. Once that was done, he struggled to rise, but continued to fall to the floor.

Several of his dragons went to his aid, but it was too late. The wolf venom had done its job. He was definitely very powerful, because he was still trying to cling to life. He vomited again, a black, vile substance, then fell quiet. His flesh grew darker, taking on a more leathery look as his veins swelled beneath the skin. A sure sign he was beyond saving. My venom with my semen could save him, but I’d be damned if I would.

With Giancarlo’s help, I was able to rise to my feet, the victorious one. I walked over to Evander and watched him take his last desperate breath. I smiled, because now that he was dead, Odin Colony was all but mine. I laughed, a cackle that was almost delirious.

“Rise and pay respect to your new King,” Giancarlo demanded of the dragons present.

“He’s not our King… yet,” one of the ancient dragons said.

He was right, of course. I had to devour the heart of the dead King. Had any normal dragon used werewolf venom to take out a king the way I had, he might not have been able to complete the coronation ceremony. The heart being tainted with wolf venom would only severely sicken him if not kill him in the process. It was a great risk and probably why Kings never bother to use wolf venom as a weapon. However, that wasn’t the case for me. The only downside would be the taste. I had to be able to keep it down long enough so the power of the dragon King could fuse with me. I knew I could. I’d already done it once before.

Now that he was dead, his corpse weakened, breaking through the bones would be simple. “Move away from him so I may devour his heart,” I told the dragons who’d been holding Evander’s body and mourning.

The dragon who’d been holding the body placed it softly on the floor and rose, taking several steps backward. They didn’t have to like how I defeated their King, but they had to accept it. Dragon politics were strict like that. It was how they stayed powerful themselves. I looked down at Evander and frowned. All of his beauty was gone and what remained was a shriveled, leathery-looking husk like an ancient mummy. It was quite the sight, especially when I thought back to how grand he looked as a full dragon.

I took my dagger and cut his torso open, then pried open his rib cage. There, nestled inside the cavity of corroded arteries was his blackened heart with veins protruding on it. All poisoned by the werewolf venom. I reached in, ripping the organ free. I then rose and held it out for all to see as blood dripped down the length of my hand and arm.

“With the taking of this flesh, I become one with your old King. All that was his becomes mine. If there is any who objects, speak now or forever hold your peace.” I had said the words that would solidify my place.

None of the dragons said anything, but I knew they all had to be feeling some kind of way. Dragons were loyal and they would have died for Evander had he ordered them to. Their silence meant they had accepted my victory over Evander and would now follow my leadership as their new King.

“As it stands, then,” I said, acknowledging I had no one who opposed me. I took the first bite of the heart and had to hold my breath as I chewed the rancid thing. I wanted to gag because it was so disgusting, but I didn’t want to show any weakness. Bite after bite, I choked down Evander’s heart and with each swallow, I could feel my power growing. My body was humming with energy and my cock grew harder with each beat of my heart. I took the last bite and something shot through me like a current and my back arched as my arms shot out at my sides. It was Evander’s power flowing through me, connecting me to every dragon who was in his army, even those far away.

I felt his power. I knew his age and with that knowledge, I was amazed that I was able to defeat a nearly five thousand year old dragon King. No wonder he was able to have twelve Knights! Lights and colors flashed before my eyes as I endured the bonding process and when it was finally over, it left me feeling drained completely. My knees buckled, but Giancarlo was at my side once again, catching me before I hit the floor. He picked me up and carried me to the throne. The same throne Evander had been sitting on when he thought I had no chance of defeating him. Being underestimated was always my biggest weapon.

I sat still for a minute… well, a few minutes, letting my entire being adjust. It had been the same thing I’d experienced when I’d killed Ta’Zar, but with Evander, it was more powerful. My fingers still shook, and I balled my hands in fists to hide that fact. My body was buzzing, and I was horny out of my mind.

“Well done, my King,” Giancarlo said, smiling at me.

His loyalty was astonishing at times, as he was just as loyal to Ta’Zar before I had killed him. That was the beauty of dragons, they followed the strongest. I may not have been stronger than Evander, but I still beat his ass, so that meant I was the strongest to them.

Giancarlo gestured to me. “All present, pay respect to your new King, His Majesty, ruler of Celestial Gardens, Kendrick Sahr.”

Ahhh, that title sounded so damn good attached to my name. I watched as very powerful dragons all knelt at my feet, their heads bowed, showing me reverence. I had dreamed about this moment for so long and every last dream was coming to fruition. Next, I’d be able to take out Théoden and Josef. They would be no challenge, especially not with the dragons at my disposal. For now, it was time to meet my new dragon army.

“Who here among you will give me the roll call of the dragons at my command?” I asked.

One dragon stepped forward. He looked to be in his early twenties, but I could tell he was extremely old, ancient even. His crystal blue eyes peered at me and they held no malice. His jet-black hair the color of ink was slicked back and in a long braid down his spine to the crack of his ass. He was about six-two and well-muscled. His eyes were intense, though, and they nearly held me captive. I would want to make him a Knight and hoped I had the power to do it. I wondered how much heartsblood I’d have to share now that I had killed Evander. Could I have at least eight Knights? That would be awesome. In any case, I studied the powerful dragon who stood before me.

He dropped down to one knee, head bowed. “My Liege, my name is Hexon Evion Namir, Chancellor of the Council and right-hand of the former King. It will be my honor and duty to advise you as my new King.”

“His Majesty already has a right and left-hand, dragon,” Giancarlo stated, and I could clearly hear the jealousy in his voice.

“Ease yourself, Giancarlo. I will listen to this Knight,” I said.

  “Yes, My King,” Giancarlo conceded.

“Everyone, please leave the room. All except you, Giancarlo, and you, Hexon,” I said.

The dragons did as I commanded, leaving only those I requested at my side. Considering I’d just killed their King, they were pretty well composed. Maybe they were waiting to be out of my presence and earshot to fully display their emotions. Regardless, it was a testament to their discipline. I watched as they all left and in the background, I looked at Evander’s corpse and again, I smiled.

“My King, the former King held a Council of four and a Court of twelve Knights. He has two Generals in control of his Indian and Japanese territories. At your command are three thousand, eight hundred and sixty-four dragons, all male. You have seventeen hundred and nine females. His Queen is Astria Avion Helena and she has two sons. Princes Tylendel Evion Telias and Zion Evion Evander. She is now your Queen and will bear your children if the gods bless you.”

“How many females?” I asked again
, impressed by the number.

“One thousand, seven hundred and nine female dragons, my King,” he repeated.

For a dragon Knight, females didn’t count as part of the army, as they beared and reared the children only. I had five hundred and nineteen female dragons and with the addition of Evander’s, that gave me two Queens. Most dragons who could be King didn’t already have a dragon army with them. Again, I was the exception. Now, I had nearly five thousand male dragons. No one would dare challenge me if they had any fucking sense.

“Tell me about these Princes,” I demanded.

“Prince Tylendel is the sole son of former King Telias. He was the Elder Knight. Prince Zion is only a child of ten years. However, he is the sole son of former King Evander and born with the eyes of a ruler,” Hexon said.

“Ahhh, so that means when he comes of age, he could move to dethrone me, especially if it’s to take vengeance for me killing his father,” I pointed out.

“That is a possibility, my King.”

“Should I kill the kid?” I asked. I wanted to test his loyalty and what advice he’d give me as one of the four Council members.

Hexon looked up at me. “To prevent a future threat to your power, one may consider that a wise preemptive attack. Or you may let him live so he grows loyal to you or fears you, for you did kill his father.”

  “What would you do?”

“I’d let the child live, my King. To kill him would only prove you fear him,” he said.

“Perhaps, or it would prove that I don’t suffer any challengers,” I countered.

Hexon cocked one of his finely shaped black eyebrows. “He has not challenged you, Your Highness,” he stated.

Well, I couldn’t argue with that. “Wise advice, indeed.” I wondered if I could have a separate council and Court. As it stood now, I only had three Knights and they acted as my Council as well. But then again, it all depended upon how much heartsblood I had to share and then who would become what. I would have to consider any new Knights carefully from among those already in my army and those who were in Evander’s. Before I could let myself get too wrapped up in dragon politics, the nagging in my groin brought my focus back to my erection. I looked at Hexon. “Suck my cock,” I commanded. Again, I wanted to test his loyalty.

“Yes, my King,” he said. He rose and walked closer to me, then knelt between my legs. When he took me between his full and luscious lips, I felt what a truly powerful dragon could do sexually. Hexon was far older than Giancarlo and the pleasure he was giving me blew my mind. I gripped the armrest and panted heavily as he sucked the seed from my balls and gave me strength at the same time. My eyes rolled up inside my head and I was lost in the sheer ecstasy of the best blowjob I’d ever had. Jesus Christ, I bet any dragon in the past who’d been brought to him for their Rite of Passage felt blessed. It didn’t take me long before I was bucking and pumping, shooting my wad down his throat. He swallowed it all and when he pulled back, he left me limp as a rag doll.

“I hope that was satisfactory to my King,” he said with a smirk. The bastard knew damn well he had rendered me useless with the skill of his mouth and he didn’t even have to stick his tongue in my slit. God only knew what condition I would have been in if he had.

“Quite,” was the only word I could utter between heavy pants.

“His Majesty is not done conquering this Colony,” Giancarlo told Hexon.

Hexon licked his bottom lip and I quivered at the sight of it. Not only was he beyond gorgeous, but damn, his skill… I was at a loss for words. Thank goodness Giancarlo was there to express them for me.

“Oh, what is there next for our King to conquer?” Hexon asked.

“We head to wolf territory, to Josef’s land where we are sure to find vampire Prince Théoden. Once they are dead, all of Odin Colony will belong to our King,” Giancarlo stated.

  “Ambitious,” Hexon commented.

“Only the great ones are,” Giancarlo said.

Hexon nodded. “Théoden is your biggest threat, but with Tylendel by your side, he won’t pose much opposition, I think.”

“Tylendel is with him?” I asked, finally regaining the use of my body.

Hexon nodded. “He and Vex were ordered to protect Josef and Théoden’s werewolf territory as part of an alliance our former King had with the vampire King, Ara.”

“Ahh, I see. As far as I’m concerned, those vampires can kiss that dragon alliance goodbye. Well, it’s time for me to introduce them to their new King, I think,” I said. “Is Vex also a Knight?”

Hexon nodded. “Lex and Vex are my grandsons, both are… I mean, were Knights.”

“Would you prefer I make them Knights again if I can? What about yourself, would you like to be a Knight?”

Hexon chuckled. “For my grandsons, I think it would be wise as they are over seventeen hundred years old. As for myself, I would not prefer to be a Knight as that time has passed for me. When Evander killed my then King, Telias, I lost my Knight status, but was upgraded to Chancellor because of my age. The four oldest members of our army made up the council with me as the lead. That is how it was. There are two other Princes and they control the territories abroad. If it would please my King, I would prefer to be reinstated as Chancellor to serve you as I have served Evander.” With that, he bowed his head as a show of respect.

I had to admit, I was pretty stoked having a powerful and ancient dragon call me King. I wondered how old he was, so I decided to ask him. “And your age?”

“As you know, most dragons don’t care to reveal their age, but that is to those who are not their King. I am seven-thousand, seven-hundred and twenty-six years old, my Liege,” Hexon said.

Had I been eating or drinking anything at the time, I would have surely choked. Even now, I was struggling to find the words to express my amazement. Maybe my dumbfounded silence was enough. He was the oldest dragon I’d ever met. “And…and there are others older than you?” I managed to ask once I found my voice. Out the corner of my eye, I could see Giancarlo shutting his mouth, which meant it had dropped open when Hexon revealed his age.

“Yes, your Highness, the army you have gained today is one of the most ancient having only had three Kings prior to your reign. The oldest are your Princes stationed in India and Japan. Mika, who is over eight thousand years old and Tarnus who is over nine thousand. Both are sons of the first dragon King, Orlo. I am the third oldest in the army,” Hexon explained.

Jesus Christ! I had hit the motherfucker jackpot! Hot damn… this day was getting better and better. I was charged as fuck now to get rid of the trash still remaining in my soon-to-be territory. Time to take out Josef and Théoden.

“I’m extremely impressed. I see no reason why you can’t be my Chancellor, as I will need your wisdom to guide me through my many years,” I said.

“I would be honored, my King,” Hexon said with another bow.

“As for my enemies, you will join me then, as I take them out. Gather a thousand dragons to accompany me. Leave the rest here to protect these lands,” I commanded.

Hexon nodded. “Yes, my King.” With that, he left and I turned to Giancarlo.

“Holy shit, can you believe that?” I asked, still reeling from the information.

He huffed out an exasperated sigh and shook his head. “It is well earned, Your Highness.”

“I sure did fight for it, never gave up.” I placed my hand on his shoulder and smiled. “You saved me when you gave me your dagger.”

“I only did what any Knight should do for their King,” Giancarlo said. “I knew that it would not defile your victory as dragons use daggers and swords in battle.”

I nodded. I knew that was the reason no one opposed me. Though, had I used a gun to attack him from afar, it would have looked bad. I nearly died fighting Evander, it was a victory I had earned. I patted him on the shoulder again, then rose from the throne. “Gather everyone. We’ll leave within the hour.”

He bowed. “Yes, my King.” He left
to carry out my command and I walked back over to Evander’s corpse.

“Thank you for showing me what a real dragon could do,” I said, paying my respects to such a worthy opponent. I’d make sure his corpse was disposed of properly. For now, I had my sights set on Théoden and Josef. They would both be dead before sunrise and as I sat atop their corpses, I would be ruler of all of Odin Colony.

  CHAPTER FOURTEEN

  Théoden

“What?” I had heard the words Tylendel said, but was too shocked to absorb them. I stared at Ty as he sat crestfallen on the ground.

“I can’t believe it,” Vex said in a hushed and stunned voice.

I had to lean up against the nearest tree or I’d also find myself on the ground. “How? How did he defeat Evander?” I had to know, because I knew I was next. A half-dragon/half-vampire… Kendrick would see my sons and me as the next threat to take out, then Josef. With us dead, there would be no one else to challenge him. Dante was powerful, but he was also young and inexperienced in battle, and that was where Kendrick would have the advantage.

“Lex witnessed it all,” Tylendel said. “Kendrick came to the King with only one of his Knights and made the challenge. He could sense that Kendrick wasn’t nearly as old as Evander, not even a thousand years. For all intent and purposes, Evander shouldn’t have lost. But he did. Kendrick used a blade filled with wolf venom and when Evander went for the killing blow, he opened his weakest point up to Kendrick.”

“He stabbed him with the blade and injected him with the venom,” I said.

Tylendel nodded, then shook his head. “I’ve served King Evander for over a thousand years. He was a mighty and fair King and that is why he faced no opposition after he slayed my Father, who was also a very powerful dragon King.”
