She crossed her arms over her chest and turned her face away from me. I wanted a different reaction from her. I wanted her to be grateful that I had rescued her. I wanted her to thank me and to be happy that I had given her freedom from the cyborgs. But it was not the reaction that I was getting, and it frustrated me.

Why was this human so damn stubborn? Yes, I liked the fire inside of her, but I also wanted a little bit of gratitude. I wanted her to see me differently than just the one that had taken her from Earth.

I guess in a way I was trying to make up for doing that. I wanted to do something for her, and I thought that this mission to rescue her on my own would make her forgive me for taking her from Earth. But I was not getting that from her, and it was making me angry. I had to focus on flying the speeder instead of this because it was the only thing keeping me from shouting at her. From shouting at her that I had risked my life to get her all on my own. I wanted to shout at her that it was a suicide mission what I did to get her, and yet she was just yelling at me. But most of all, I wanted to take her in my arms and press my lips against her. Seeing her again only flooded my heart and my stirring deep within me. It awakened it even more. Her pale skin, dark hair, and her thick, curvy human body that was ample and begged for me to touch it was very hard to resist. I wanted to pull the speeder over and take her into my arms, but I couldn't. And that frustrated me most of all.

An hour later, the signal on my map started to beep. She panicked.

“What is it? They found us?” she asked with a quiver in her voice.

“No, it is just an alert on my map. It means that we are approaching the trading village. It is just below us. I am going to descend. I know that there is a spaceport and that will be our destination. But it is better that I park the speeder outside the village and hide it. Then we can walk to the spaceport. But I need to get my bearings first,” I said as I put the ship down.

“There it is. I see it. I see the lights,” she said as we approached it.

“Good, it is just as massive as I hoped it would be. We can easily hide there. Then we can figure out what to do.” I said. I flew around the outside of the village slowly without causing any attention our way. There were a few other ships flying in and out; it was a busy trading village even this late into the night. It seemed to be a village that barely slept. This was good for us. I saw all kinds of ships with different emblems on them. I even recognized a few. Then after I flew around the perimeter, I identified the spaceport. Then I flew the speeder just south of it and landed it outside of the village. There was a crop of trees.

“There, I can hide the speeder by landing it under there. It's not perfect, a cave would be perfect, but we have to make do with what we have,” I said.

I touched the speeder down underneath the trees. I turned off the engine. Lauren turned and looked at me. Her beauty stunned me. Then a weak smile came across her face.

“Jion, thank you. Thank you for getting me out of there. I didn't get a chance to thank you before. I was incredibly shocked to see you standing at the door. I wasn't expecting it,” she said with her voice barely a whisper.

My staff stirred to hear her voice in such a way. Her gratitude was what I had been seeking. I was glad to hear her say these words. It was worth it. I smiled back at her. “You are welcome, Lauren. I am glad to have helped you,” I said. “Follow me. I will get you to a safe place, I promise,” I put my hand on top of her hand and squeezed it. I was surprised that she didn't pull it away. Then I moved my hand and unbuckled the belt. I stood up and grabbed the small supply bag. I gave her a nod.

“Stay close. There are all kinds of species here. I don't know if they have ever seen a human though, and it might draw some attention. If it looks like you are with me, then they are less likely to mess with you or try to take you. Do you understand?”

“Yes. I am ready. I will stay close, Jion. I will not run this time,” she said.

“I believe you, Lauren. I trust you, even if you don’t trust me. Let’s go.”

  Chapter Nine

  Lauren Kate

As I walked alongside Jion through the darkness heading toward the lights of the trading village, I thought about how relieved I was. I was relieved when I saw him standing in the doorway of the room I was being held in by the cyborgs. I was shocked that he was there. It took me a while to process. But as he threw me over his shoulder, I remembered something about him. I remembered his gentleness when he spooned me that night to keep me warm in the desert. I didn't know if the whole sex slave thing was right, but why should I believe K4T when he had lied to me about other things? But why would Jion tell me the truth? I couldn't trust anyone, but I did have a feeling with Jion. He really did seem concerned about me, but I had also mistaken K4T as a friend. Could I trust my instincts? They had already been wrong before. But now I felt extreme guilt. I had willingly left Jion and went along with K4T. I put myself in danger, and also put Jion in danger because he had decided to come get me. I really was grateful that he did so. If he had not, I would still be stuck there, and K4T would be forcing himself on me this very night. I had to consider myself lucky despite it all.

“This way. The port is over here. Now just let me speak; say nothing,” he said.

I nodded my head in agreement. But he just stared at me. “What?” I asked him.

“That is the first time you have ever just agreed with what I ask of you. I was expecting a stubborn argument out of you. I am just shocked is all,” he said.

“Well, I am exhausted. Maybe tomorrow I will give you a good fight,” I teased him. He laughed. When he smiled and laughed and was light-hearted, he was very attractive. There was none of the hardness to him. I remembered what it felt like to kiss him. I suddenly felt very hot all over as though it was happening right then and there. I had to shake the memory from my mind.

He grabbed my arm gently and we walked through the gates of the village. I tried not to look around stunned, but it was very hard. I had never seen anything like it. There were all kinds of aliens roaming about. None of them seemed interested in us; they were all doing their own thing. It was like a spice market in the Middle East with many tables and booths and lots of cloth hanging from them. There were tents selling items and different smells in the air. I didn't see any aliens that looked like Jion, with the blue skin, but there were many other kinds. I saw pink skin, silver skin, and so many more. it was an amazing sight. But I kept my head low, looking down at the ground and only looking up every once in a while. I didn't want to cause anyone to give me attention. Then the market tables gave way to a large cement area. There were small ships, then the small ships gave way to bigger ships, and then even bigger ones. There were some that were as big as airplanes. Finally, Jion stopped in front of a table that was next to a ship.

“What kind of passenger ship is this? Or is it a cargo ship?” Jion asked.

“It is both a passenger ship and a cargo ship. Those wishing passage on the ship pay a fee. Those wishing for us to take cargo to a destination pay a fee based on the weight and the distance,” the alien at the table said. His skin was red and black, and he had a large flat bone protruding from the top of his head. I was trying not to stare. I didn't want to seem out of place.

“I am seeking passage to the Vonga Galaxy near the Iurnium system to the planet Xeion,” Jion said.

“We have a stop in the Iurnium system on the planet Miot. We have cargo going there,” the alien said as he scrolled through what reminded me of a tablet.

“And when does this ship leave?” Jion asked.

“At first light. In six hours’ time,” he said.

“If I pay now, is it possible for us, the two passengers, to take shelter in the room provided?”

“Yes, there are already passengers on the ship. What passage would you like?”

Then Jion put a gem on the table. I was shocked. Was that a diamond? Where did he get that from? But I didn't say anything.

  “The largest and most comfortable
accommodations that this can buy to the planet Miot, with board as well,” Jion said.

The alien slid the diamond toward himself. He nodded in agreement and then he shouted something in a language I did not understand to an attendant that was standing by. He was telling him something, and I assumed it was to show us to our accommodations. The alien attendant gestured to Jion for us to follow him. We walked up a rollaway staircase that was placed against the side of the ship. I followed Jion inside. I was surprised by what I saw when we entered. It reminded me of a cruise ship. There were many hallways, and we walked down one. The attendant pulled out a silver pendant; he slid it into the door, and it opened. Then he handed it to Jion and said something in the language I did not understand. We followed the attendant in. The room was large, and again it reminded me of a cruise ship cabin. The attendant was showing Jion around as he opened cabinets and pointed to food and water. Then he opened another door; it was a washroom. I was thankful for that. Then he said something to Jion and was on his way. Jion closed the door and locked it. I let out a long breath of air.

  “We did it,” I said.

“Yes, we made it to the safety of shelter, and we have passage, but I won't feel good until we are in the air. For now, you should get some rest,” he said.

“I would very much like to wash up,” I walked over to the washroom. “Oh my God. There is a shower in here. I can't believe it. If you don't mind I'm going to take a quick shower,” I said.

“Yes, make yourself comfortable. I will see to food and drink,” he said.

I looked at him as he went over to the cabinet and began to get food and drink ready. I felt like I was very wrong about him. He was kind and concerned. I felt guilty again. I moved into the washroom and took a very quick and thorough cold shower. I guess it was a lot to expect hot water on a traveling ship, but I was happy to be able to take a shower at all. I dried my hair and put my clothes back on. Then I walked out to the room. Jion had set up a nice dinner for us on the table. I looked at the bed; there was only one bed, but it was very large. Then I looked back at the table. He smiled.

“Are you hungry? I know I am,” he said. “I am still in the healing stage and need the nutrition,” he said as he sat down and began to put food on his plate in front of him. I went to the table and sat down in the chair next to him. He poured water into a cup for me.

“Thank you. I am hungry,” I said as I began to eat. “What do you mean the healing stage? Is that some sort of Kynon thing?”

“No, I don't think it is just for the Kynon. I was injured. Once you left me, your friends, the cyborgs, hit me over the head with a gun and left me for dead. I lost lots of blood before the Kynon found me and gave me medical attention,” he said.

I stopped eating. I couldn't believe it. “Are you serious? They hurt you? Unbelievable, those bastards.”

“Yes, of course they did. Did you think they were just going to shake my hand and leave? That is a very naive thought,” he said as he drank something that looked like the wine I had before.

“Yes, excuse me for being naive and not understanding all of this alien crap and cyborg crap. I am not used to this stuff,” I said.

“But you do know that the cyborg deceived you. You were tricked, and quite easily I might add,” he said.

“I don't know. I do know that the cyborg was not telling me the truth. But that does not explain how he knows the names of the human females that I was with. I still think he knows where they are. But yes, I was tricked easily; you don't have to remind me of that,” I said feeling angry and embarrassed that he knew. I don't know why I wanted him to think of me in a better light, but I did. It embarrassed me that he knew I was so easily deceived.

“No, he does not know where the human females are, but I do. The ones that are named Vicky and Nancy,” he said.

I was completely shocked. “What? What do you mean? Where are they? Take me to them.”

“I cannot. But they are safe. They are aboard the mothership, belonging to the Kynon, just outside of the planet here. They are there and safe while the rest of the fleet searches for another crew member and the rest of the human females.”

  “How do you know this?”

“Because Captain Alicron Qinov told me.”

  “And you believe him?”

“I have no reason not to.”

“And why can we not go to the Mothership so that I can speak with the humans?”

“Because I am not welcome there, and neither are you. Don't you get it, Lauren? We are fugitives from both the cyborgs and the Kynon. That is why we need to get off this planet.”

“I don't understand. Why is it that your own kind are chasing you, and chasing me? You have to tell me what is going on here if you want me to trust you.”

“Fine. I went against orders. Captain Alicron Qinov wanted me to leave you with the cyborgs. I made the mistake of telling him that you went willingly with the cyborgs. Because of that, he sees you as a traitor. He thought that if we went to get you, you would just warn the cyborgs to our presence and cause a battle. He did not think that losing Kynon soldiers was worth one human, especially one that betrayed the Kynon. But I couldn't deal with that order. I refused it. I stole the speeder and supplies and took off on my own to find and take you back.”

I was shocked. I could not believe what he was saying, but I didn't think that he was lying. He had gone to get me all by himself, putting himself in danger, and defied the orders of his captain. Now his entire crew thought of him as a traitor, and he did it just to rescue me.

I felt warmth come all over me; it radiated through my body as I looked at him. He was breathing hard I could tell that he was passionate about what he was telling me. Did this blue alien have feelings for me? Why else would he put his life on the line to get me? I suddenly felt a lot of sympathy toward him, as well as gratitude, but there was something else: I admired and respected him. He was brave, a brave alien soldier that did all that he did by himself. He did it for me. I felt my body responding to him as he looked at me. I remembered what it felt like when he kissed me.

“I don't understand. Why did you come for me if you knew that your crew and your race would hate you and hunt you down? Hunt us?” I asked in barely a whisper.

“Because I couldn’t stop thinking about you. Because I need you,” he said. Then he stood up and pulled me into his arms and kissed me. I didn’t fight it. I kissed him back.

He picked me up in his arms, cradling me. He carried me to the bed and laid me down on the soft mattress. “I want you, Lauren. I want you so badly it aches,” he whispered. His words were so human-like. It stirred something deep within me. I didn’t just lust after this blue alien with the silver hair; I cared for him, and I liked that he desired me so much. He had risked his life to get me from the cyborgs, and I wanted to give him pleasure because of it.

“I want you too, Jion. I want you to take me,” I said as I pulled off my shirt and bra. He moaned as he looked at my breasts. He moved his massive hand on them and massaged them. He pinched my nipples lightly. I groaned. Then I pulled off my boots, jeans, and panties and laid naked on the bed before him.

“Look at you, Lauren. You are sexy. You are beautiful. I have never seen anyone that looks like you throughout all the galaxies,” he said.

  “Thank you,” I whispered.

He stood up from the bed and pulled off his boots and belt. Then I watched as he peeled the trousers off of himself. He was now naked and standing with confidence and arrogance in front of me. His silver hair was wild around him. His blue skin was smooth and perfect. His cock was blue, and it was long and thick. It was so hard and stood straight up toward his belly. I took a deep breath as I looked at it. I wanted him inside of me.

“You too are beautiful, Jion. I have never seen anything like you,” I said with a smile. He smiled back at me and laughed a little. Then he climbed on the bed with me. He kissed me lightly, almost tickling me on purpose. We laughed together. I liked this side of him. I li
ked seeing this lighthearted side of him, teasing me. It was fun.

“I want to be inside of you, Lauren,” he said as he kissed my breasts, my belly, and my hips.

“I want you to be inside of me too,” I said. But I wiggled out from under him and got on my knees. I pressed my hand to his chest. “Lay down,” I said. He arched a brow at me.

“As you wish, human female,” he said. Then he laid down on his back and put his hands behind his head. I laughed at how comfortable he looked.

I climbed on top of him and straddled him. He sucked in a sharp breath of air. I put my hands on his strong six-pack abs. He was toned and firm. Then I lifted myself up a little.

“What are you doing?” he asked.
