  “Trust me. You’ll enjoy it.”

She pushed his legs apart and strapped one leg into the contraption, then the same with the other leg. He lay spread-eagled against the wall, his prick with its swollen head and its bulging veins jumping ever so slightly. She ran her fingers across the crown, and it lifted of its own volition. He stared at her as she took control, and the sight of her naked body before him, sent darts of desire piercing through his body. She pulled his head down to her and forced her tongue into his mouth. A long, wet kiss! When she pulled away, his head followed her, yearning for more. She turned her attention to his delicious cock, pumping it up and down until his body started to vibrate.

“It’s throbbing,” she said, looking into his face and caressing his erection. “This is a part of your birthday gift.”

  He groaned in reply.

She knelt before him and continued to stroke his erect penis. Its head, now purple and fully swollen, bobbed around in her hands.

  “Suck it,” he begged.

“Not yet,” she said, flicking her tongue across the tip. “I will do it soon.”

She massaged the crown, licking the drop of moisture from the tip. She stroked it, staring at him all the while.

“Ohhhhh, Summer,” he said between gasps. “Don’t tease me.”

She ran her hand down the shaft and squeezed his balls, and his body jerked uncontrollably.

“Untie me, Summer. I want to make you feel good.”

“Not yet, Seamus,” she whispered, caressing his tight sac.

Finally she covered his quivering cock with her lips and sucked viciously on it. He watched as she slowly drew it deep into her mouth. His heart was pounding, and he felt the blood surging directly to the quivering head. He watched her and euphoria overtook his body. She slowly withdrew it and nibbled gently on the velvety head.

“I will come if you keep doing that to me,” he said breathlessly.

“Are you enjoying your birthday gift?” she asked, staring up at him.

“Yes, but I want to come inside you, Summer. Please untie me,” he pleaded.

“Are you begging me?” she asked. “Don’t you appreciate what I’m doing?”

“Yes, yes,” he said as his body lurched forward. “I’m coming, Summer. I’m coming.”

That said, he came growling like a wounded lion. She pushed it deeply into her mouth and sucked him dry of his juices.

“Untie me,” he said. “I want to fuck you.”

“What do you want to do to me?” she whispered softly in his ear.

“Untie me and I will show you.”

She untied him, and suddenly he ran off leaving her totally confused. As quickly as he disappeared he reappeared, totally out of breath and holding George in his hand.

“He wanted to join the party,” he said, turning it on, and watched it as it vibrated.

“Did he say that?” she asked, staring at the object.

She ran her hand along the tip and closed her eyes and slowly inserted it between her lips. He pushed her roughly against the wall, and circled her clit with his fingers. He continued to massage it, moving his fingers up and down. She opened her legs wider, giving him full access to her swollen clit. Her body shivered as he inserted one finger into her wet pussy. Euphoria! He felt her muscles tighten around it and he slipped a second one in.

“Now put your forehead against the wall and push back. Give George to me and spread your legs.”

He opened her cheeks and ran his finger up and down her crack, stopping to caress her tight anus. She sighed as her buttocks tightened.

  “Enjoying it?”

She groaned moving her hips from side to side. He slowly slid a finger into her anus.

“Should I go on?” he asked.

  “Yes,” she whispered.

He continued to finger her anus, and her hips continued to move from side to side. She was so hot that he slid a vibrating George inside her and watched as it disappeared little by little. He fondled her clit and she bucked and gyrated without shame, submitting her body and soul to him.

“Oh, Seamus, oh my God,” she cried out.

“Is he as good as I am?” he asked, still rubbing her pulsing clit.

“No,” she shouted, stretching her hands along the wall for support.

It seemed as if she was in a trance. Every part of her body trembled. Then without warning, she squeezed her buttocks and slithered to the floor with an earth-shattering orgasm.

  “Wasn’t that good?”

  “Yes,” she replied softly.

She turned on her back while he slowly removed a still-vibrating George from her pulsing, wet pussy. She was drenched in perspiration, and he dried her body with his T-shirt.

“You are really shattered,” he said, running his tongue along her lips.

  “Yes,” she replied.

“And what am I going to do with this?” he asked, putting his erection in her hand.

She closed her fingers around it and moved it rhythmically up and down. He lay back, his eyes closed, and allowed her to pleasure him. She stared at it as if mesmerized then slowly inserted it into her mouth. His hips lifted from the floor, meeting her lips, while she continued to administer to him. His body was soon jerking and bucking, and he came, calling out her name.

They lay together on the floor, their bodies wrapped together like two slithering snakes. His tongue found its way into her mouth and they were once again attacking each other.

“You are sizzling hot, Summer. I want to just keep fucking you all night long. You will never know how much I missed this,” he said, sliding a finger into her.

He pushed her hand down to his cock, which had already sprung back to life. He turned her around, pushed her legs apart, and pounded her from behind. His thumb found her swollen clit, and he fondled it. She could feel his balls slapping on her behind as he moved in and out.

“You like it?” he asked, pulling his dick out and running his tongue along the insides of her thighs.

  “Yes.”

“I want to stay inside you forever. I missed your sweet pussy, Summer.”

“Put it back inside,” she said, her buttocks jerking back and forth.

He slid it in again, but very slowly, and watched as her hips rose to meet him. He splayed his hand across her pubic area to massage her clit and to better support her.

  “That’s beautiful, Summer.”

She could hold it back no longer and came with a second earth-shattering orgasm.

“Oh, Seamus! Oh, Seamus,” she whispered.

  “What is it?” he asked.

  “I missed you so much!”

“Did you?” he asked, still slowly moving his beast in and out of her.

  He became quite frantic.

“I’m coming, Summer. I’m coming,” he shouted.

He came, his body shimmying violently. He lay quietly holding her in his arms on the uncomfortable floor.

“We must have more arguments and more often,” he said, gently kissing her on the head. “I love the making up.”

  Chapter Thirty-Three

“Has he laid you yet?” Toby asked while they waited for their lunch to arrive.

  “Yes. Last night.”

“Are you trying to tell me you kept that poor man suffering for so long?”

“He was like a wild beast last night,” she said, a smile pasted across her face. “Oh, Toby, it was so good.”

  “Do tell everything.”

“I had the impression he was trying to kill me.”

“I can’t think of a better way to go,” he said, laughing out loud.

Their lunch arrived, and they waited until the waitress left before they continued their conversation.

“Dear Lord, Summer. That sounds hot and steamy. What I wouldn’t have done to be a fly on the wall.”

  “You are sick, Toby.”

  “I know.”

  “Know what he did?”

“Tell me. Tell me. It’s all so sexciting.”<

“Get your mind out of the gutter,” she said, taking a sip of her beer. “I’m talking about something else.”

“Well, you going to tell me?” he said, putting down his fork and gazing at her.

“He has made me his life partner.”

“What does that mean?” Toby asked.

“I own half of everything he has.”

“What did you say, girl?” asked a shocked Toby.

She wrote something on a piece of paper and showed it to him. He couldn’t take his eyes off the contents.

“What? He gave you that much?” he asked, his eyes still stuck to the piece of paper.

“He has made me his legal partner.”

  “What about marriage?”

“Have you forgotten that he is still a married man?”

“Not for very long, Summer. Not for very long,” Toby said. “You’re one very lucky girl. And he is good between the sheets, too!”

“I will never let him go, Toby.”

“You would be rather stupid if you did that,” he said.

“Tell me about your friend,” she said.

“He is divine. He is good-looking. He is good in bed, and he loves me.”

“Is he the same guy I met?” she asked. “The same one from your company?”

“No, darling. This one works with one of the big designers.”

  “Where did you meet him?”

“You know me. I am always looking for a bargain, and I went into a designer’s shop looking for a pair of jeans when this god appeared from nowhere, telling me how wonderful they looked and how nicely they fit.”

  “And?”

“And what?” he asked. “The rest is history.”

“Well I am looking forward to meeting him on Saturday night,” she said with a giggle.

  “Is it still a surprise?”

  “Of course.”

“So Seamus has absolutely no idea about his surprise birthday party?”

“Not the slightest,” she replied. “I have no idea what I should give him.”

“I can think of something, but he’s probably got that already. How about a sexotic vacation?” he asked, laughing.

“That’s a good idea. He’s not having another exhibition for a while, so time won’t be a problem.”

“Where would you like to go?”

“I don’t know. Have you any ideas?” she asked him.

“The Caribbean! How about a little island in the South Pacific! Perhaps Bora Bora or Tahiti, or somewhere in the Cook Islands?” he asked.

“That sounds really exotic. I should pick up some brochures today.”

“Then, honey, you’d better hurry. You don’t want to give him his gift so long after his birthday.”

“He’ll get a part of his gift on his birthday,” she said with a smile.

“Go for it, girl. I would love to sit here and gossip a little longer but my lunch hour is up,” he said, looking at his watch.

“I’ll see you on Saturday. Six thirty sharp, and don’t be late. Millie is taking him out of the house on the pretence of helping her find a sofa. She’ll have him back around seven o’clock, she said.”

  * * * *

“Of all the days, she chose my birthday to help her find a sofa,” said Seamus. ”Sometimes I just don’t understand Millie.”

“Don’t forget how good she is to us,” said Summer.

“Why can’t we do it on Sunday?” he asked, visibly annoyed.

“Are you expecting Millie, a staunch Roman Catholic, to go shopping for a sofa on a Sunday? You should know her better than that.”

“I hope she won’t keep me out too long,” he said.

Summer laughed because she had given Millie explicit instructions to keep him out as long as possible. Whatever he chose, she wouldn’t care for.

At midday, Millie was there with her pickup truck and they started out for Whitney. No sooner was he out the door, than the decorators and the caterers arrived. It looked like a birthday celebration for a teenager. Summer went all-out to make sure it was perfect. The caterers said they would be back around six to lay out the food. A bronze-colored cake in the shape of an artist’s palette with thirty-three candles resembling paintbrushes took center stage on the decorated table. She liked what she saw. The phone started to ring and she hurried to answer it. It was Seamus, and he was very annoyed.

“She doesn’t like anything I choose,” he said. “We have gone to almost every furniture store and she doesn’t like anything. I really don’t know what she’s looking for.”

“Be patient with her,” Summer urged.

“I’m tired and I want to come home,” he said.

“We’ve got the whole night together. Take your time.”

She hung up the phone and went to her bedroom to choose her wardrobe for the evening. The phone rang again and she rushed to answer it.

“Is this Summer?” the unknown voice asked.

  “Yes. It’s Summer.”

“We met briefly in Miami,” the voice said hesitatingly. “This is Marianna Balsam.”

“What can I do for you?” Summer asked curtly.

“I want to apologize to you, Summer. I know I made a mistake by allowing Lana Podesta to talk me into showing up in Miami.”

“It doesn’t really matter,” Summer replied.

“I want to clear the air with you, Summer,” she said. “I want you to know what happened to change my life.”

“You know, Marianna, it’s really none of my business.”

“I know that, but I want to explain it to you so that you won’t make the same mistake. I was forced to leave Seamus when he was just a struggling artist. We became friends with the Podestas, not knowing they had an ulterior motive for wanting to help us. Fred was a sick man who couldn’t lead a normal life. His desires were quite different than that of a normal man. Do you know what I’m talking about?”

  “No, I don’t.”

“He pressured Seamus into going along with his warped ideas because he was backing him financially. Lana kept coming to the apartment because she wanted to get Seamus into bed, even though he had a wife. She kept bringing us all kinds of gifts and special things for Seamus, which he enjoyed. When it wasn’t clothing, it was art supplies or cologne or whatever her money could buy. I kept telling Seamus we should distance ourselves from them, but we had no money and he didn’t want to go back to the poverty-stricken life we had, and I can understand that. Are you still there, Summer?”

  “Yes, I’m listening.”

“Then they started taking over lives. Lana spent most of her time in the loft around Seamus, and late in the evening Fred would come over for his dose of humiliation. That’s when I decided to leave. I didn’t want to leave Seamus, but I was holding second or sometimes third place in his life. I packed my suitcase and waited for the opportune moment to leave, and one day when he was out, I left. He tried unsuccessfully to find me, and I understand that Lana convinced him that he was better off without me. For ten years I went on with my life, until I got a call from her.”

“How did she find you?” Summer asked.

“Apparently after Seamus met you, he started looking for me and turned to Lana for help. She put him in touch with a detective whose services she had used. She found me and told Lana where I was. That’s when she called and invited me to Miami. I had no idea that Seamus was having a show there, and when I found out, I was really eager to see him. At that point I didn’t know that there was someone in his life.”

“You knew her reputation. Why did you accept the invitation?”

“Well, I wanted a break from the bleak winter of Minnesota, and I also wanted to see Seamus. I hadn’t seen him in over ten years. I wanted to see how he looked and how he was doing.”

“And now that you have seen him?”

“He looks well. Better than I had expected! I will be honest and tell you that my heart missed several beats when I saw him. When I entered the exhibition hall, Lana pointed you out
to me. That was the first time I knew there was someone in his life. I should’ve expected it. Anyway, when I realized what her motive was, I decided to leave. She wanted Seamus all to herself and would have done anything to achieve that goal. She offered me five thousand dollars, which I didn’t take, and told me how ungrateful I was.”

“I know the complete story, Marianna.”

  “How did you find out?”

“I was in the bathroom while you were discussing it.”

“I’m really sorry that I hurt you,” she said.

“Don’t worry about it, Marianna. It hasn’t changed anything between Seamus and me. We care deeply about each other, and nothing will come between us.”

“Well, success must have brought him more self-confidence,” she said. “I am happy that he is happy. Please wish him a very happy birthday.”

“I will pass the greetings on to him.”

“Thank you, Summer. Seamus has found himself a lovely lady. Have a happy life.”

  * * * *

“I won’t get anything done if this damn phone doesn’t stop ringing,” she said, picking it up.

Seamus was on the line again. This time he was really annoyed. Millie had found a sofa, and after leaving the store, she changed her mind again.

“Well it’s almost six o’clock and she knows you should be home in time for our dinner.”

“I’m not so sure about that, Summer. I’ll see you soon, I hope.”

It was six thirty when the guests started to arrive. The first on the scene was Rachel with her new boyfriend Ed. She had changed a lot since her talk with Summer. She laughed and talked with her until Steven and Ida Ketchum, their neighbours, arrived along with another couple. The cake in the shape of a palette was a hit with the guests. They thought it a brilliant idea.

“Did you remember to park the cars on the other side of the house?” Summer asked.

They had, and the doorbell rang again, announcing another arrival. It was Toby and his new boyfriend Joshua Gallo. Toby’s description was understated. Joshua was one of the most handsome men she had ever seen, and Toby seemed flustered in his presence.

“Your description didn’t do him justice,” she whispered.

“I told you he was gorgeous, didn’t I? Where is Seamus?”
