LISA MORTON is a screenwriter, author of non-fiction books, award-winning prose writer, and Halloween expert whose work was described by the American Library Association’s Readers’ Advisory Guide to Horror as “consistently dark, unsettling, and frightening”. ROBERT MORRISH is the former editor of Cemetery Dance magazine and co-editor of The Scream Factory magazine, and has edited or co-edited several anthologies, including October Dreams (winner of the International Horror Guild award) and Thrillers II. His long-running column on the horror small press, “Spotlight on Publishing,” has been appearing in Cemetery Dance since issue #8 in 1991. He was formerly the lead horror reviewer for Publishers Weekly, and has also had reviews and articles appear in mainstream publications such as The San Francisco Chronicle, The Los Angeles Daily News, and The West Coast Review of Books, and genre publications such as Weird Tales, Rue Morgue, Cinefantastique, and Rod Serling’s Twilight Zone Magazine.
AL SARRANTONIO is the author of forty-five books. He is a winner of the Bram Stoker Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, the Audie Award, and has been a finalist for the World Fantasy Award, the British Fantasy Award, the International Horror Guild Award, as well as the Locus Award and the Private Eye Writers of America Shamus Award. NORMAN PARTRIDGE is a writer whose fiction crosses many genres—including horror, suspense, and the fantastic—“sometimes all in one story,” says his friend writer Joe Lansdale. RONALD MALFI is an award-winning author of many novels and novellas in the horror, mystery, and thriller categories from various publishers, including Little Girls, this summer’s 2015 release from Kensington. In 2009, his crime drama, Shamrock Alley, won a Silver IPPY Award. In 2011, his ghost story/mystery novel, Floating Staircase, was a finalist for the Horror Writers Association Bram Stoker Award for best novel, received a Gold IPPY Award for best horror novel, and the Vincent Preis International Horror Award. His novel Cradle Lake garnered him the Benjamin Franklin Independent Book Award (silver) in 2014, while December Park, his epic coming-of-age thriller, won the Beverly Hills International Book Award for suspense in 2015. Most recognized for his haunting, literary style and memorable characters, Malfi’s dark fiction has gained acceptance among readers of all genres.
