The television then went blank. He didn’t know the cause but he thought it might be mice eating through the wires. He was right. Mice started to infiltrate the hospital. They first started crawling on the floor. People were scrambling to get away from them. They started coming through holes in the walls. They started crawling all over people starting to bite them. There were already some Zoonosis cases of disease in the hospital. Tsu knew what that was. A disease that was caused by contact with animals. Now there would be more. People had the worse of two evils, stay in the hospital and get mauled and probably catch some disease, or go outside with the same consequences, Either way the people were getting mauled and dying. The malaria cases were taking over along with the mice. The people that made it outdoors were mugged to death by bugs birds, and rodents of all kinds. It was hopeless, like watching a slow death in a movie. Tsu just sat there and accepted his fate. Mice started crawling over him and suffocating him until his last breath. The mice and other animals started running down the streets of Bangkok.

Buenos Aires, Argentina December 27,2012 2:00 P.M. Saint Garcia Hospital

Dr. Julie Aicraga was on her last case of the shift. She was a doctor at this hospital and she was counting up the bodies in the morgue that died of malaria in the past week. There were tractors and dump trucks behind the hospital burying the dead after the doctor got done counting them. Ann her assistant was beside her. “ That makes 4,500 cases so far,” Julie said to Ann. “For a big hospital that holds 1,000 patients that’s still many deaths,” she again replied. “I know,” Ann replied with a little scare in her voice. “ I wonder if it will ever end,” the doctor finished saying. There were news reports of this malaria outbreak from all over Argentina and the surrounding countries. It was in the newspapers and on the television news. Julie exclaimed,” It’s an epidemic I’m sure now.” “ I have to agree,” Ann said. Half the hospital was full of malaria patients and the other half with Zoonosis cases due to many animals in the streets. In this part of the country there were many people with pets.

When Ann looked out the window she noticed the window covered with cockroaches. She wondered if she was ever going to get home. She’d been stuck at the hospital for three days now because of the animals in the streets. They were mauling people just like around the rest of the world. The last time she looked out the window, it was four days ago. When she looked then she saw mass hysteria. People were getting mauled by big cats, bugs, birds, and reptiles of all kinds. She thought it was a matter of time before the animals got to her. She kept trying to help people until it happened, if it happened.

People at the hospital were walking around sick everywhere. Julie tried to get them to lie down and most of them refused. They were trying to get out of the hospital. Most of them figured that they had nothing to lose because they were going to die anyway. They wanted to do what they wanted before they die. Who could blame them, Ann thought. They all looked like something from a zombie movie or video game. They weren’t far from that notion. People and staff were stomping on cockroaches and other bugs at the door. One of the patients whose name was Pedro was close to the door. He was very sick but on his feet. He was going towards the main door. Nursing staff members were trying to hold him back and stomp on bugs at the same time. They just couldn’t do it. Pedro fell in a bloody pool on the door. He broke the glass and the door. The bugs came in the thousands and millions. They overwhelmed everybody in their path. They choked and ate them to death. Nobody was safe. Julie could see the bugs engulfing patients all around her. All they could do was run. Ann hid in a maintenance closet. It didn’t do any good. The bugs were on her crawling through the cracks in seconds. She suffocated to death. Julie kept running to try to get to her office. By this time the bugs were all over the hospital. Even though the hospital was four floors, they were all over. She never made it to her office and the bugs were on her in seconds. They did the same thing to her as they did to Ann. The whole hospital was infested and whether the patients had malaria or they were getting choked to death by the bugs the whole hospital was dying.

Other hospitals in the city were going through the same dilemma.

Saint Carters Hospital Edmonton, Canada December 27, 4 P.M.

Saint Carters hospital was the biggest hospital in Edmonton with a capacity of holding 1,000 patients. It took up three city blocks full of staff and special units and departments. It was one of the biggest in the country of Canada. It was looked up to by other hospitals of the world as one of the best. Mr. Sellah was the top manager in charge. He was directer and chief of the whole hospital. He had a few assistants and top doctors but he did the most. The head doctor was Dr. Jackson. She specialized in internal medicine, but handled most cases. This hospital was packed to the rim with patients. Most were cases of Zoonosis. This was not a rare disease in human history, but rare in recent times with all the progress of human medicine. Except for the last two weeks, they hadn’t gotten hardly any cases of Zoonosis. In the last week they have nothing but these cases and fatal or serious wounds from animal attacks.

“ Another case,” Dr. Jackson stated. “That’s the nine-hundredth case Doctor Jackson.” Dr. Ballardo exclaimed as the were talking in the main hallway near the main desk of the hospital.” It’s getting chaotic to a point where we can’t handle the load of patients.” “ I agree,” Dr. Jackson concluded. “We’ll have to make a call to Mr. Sellah,” Dr. Jackson painfully stated to her fellow doctor. “Mr. Sellah,”Dr. Jackson said over the phone,”We have a serious problem.”” We are at capacity and people are starting to die at alarming rates.”” How many have died so far?” Mr. Sellah replied. “ One-hundred seventy-five people,”Explained Dr. Jackson. “ One-hundred fifty from Zoonosis and the rest from fatal animal attacks.” “Is the morgue full also?’ asked Mr. Sellah.” Yes,”replied Dr. Ballardo, who was on a connected line. “ The only thing we can do is keep trying,” said Mr. Sellah.”The bodies of the deceased can be deposited in the field in back,” Mr Sellah ordered. “That will give you some room in case you have more cases or more deaths.” Dr. Jackson was frustrated but agreed. This part of the world was not having as much of a problem as the rest of the world as far as animals in the streets. It probably had to do with the weather. There were still some incidents occasionally. So the order was given to deposit the dead bodies out back.

The maintenance department was headed by Sarai Yelir and her assistants Alicia and April. They had some extra helpers for big jobs today. So they got a call to deposit dead bodies from the morgue and bury them out back. The families of these people were staying in their houses because of the animal attacks. So they had no choice but to follow orders. Steve Rodof and Jason Lesur were the extra helpers today and they were ready to help. So, all five of them started hauling the bodies out to the back field. They dug little trenches for them and started an assembly line to make it go faster. Sarai passed the bodies to April then Alicia hauled them with a wheelbarrow to Steve and Jason out in the field, where they both took turns burying the dead. It was going well until they started seeing wolves on the outskirts of the field. There were bald eagles and red tailed hawks circling also. They started hurrying, they knew that there were reports of animal attacks here and all over the world. They still had 25 more bodies to bury. Jason and Steve were going as fast as they could as were the rest of the crew. One of the bodies dropped and Alicia went to pick it up. When she rose she was clawed by an eagle. It got her right in the face and it was deep. She was going to need stitches. Sarai finally said,” Forget this people we’re inside!” Jason and Steve started running inside. The wolves were on them in seconds, tearing their flesh off their bodies. There were hundreds of them. They had no chance. Steve was screaming until one of the wolves ripped his throat apart on the ground. Another eagle came down and ripped into Aprils jugular vein while she was trying to enter into the hospital. Within seconds she started to bleed to death and then the wolves were on her too. Alicia made it to the door, but got pulled back by a big brown bear.Sh
e could only struggle so much before the bear whacked her with his paws killing her instantly. Sarai was watching this all from inside the hospital door. She was at the back door of the hospital and it was locked. She started putting furniture and other objects against the door. Ten feet from the door there was a hospital phone. She got on it and called Mr. Sellah. There were still dead bodies on gurneys waiting to go outside. They cluttered the hallway were Sarai was calling on the phone. “ Mr. Sellah,” she yelled. “We were attacked by wolves eagles, and hawks.” “Is everyone safe,” Mr. Sellah asked. “No, Sarai said,”All dead except me.” Then Mr. Sellah heard a big crash and then silence on the other end of the phone Sarai was on. The bears had come through the door and the wolves were on Sarai in seconds. She didn’t have a chance after the wolves tore her apart. Security people were running for their lives on the floor.

Mr. Sellah got on the hospital intercom and sent emergency security to the back door. The front door was getting stampeded with bears and wolves also. Moose and elk were upending and goring people near other exits. All the main floor doors had been smashed and perpetrated. The hospital was being overrun by animals on the first floor. Security started shooting at the wolves near the back door. There were too many of them. A few got shot, but most of them got through and tore the guards apart. Whether it was the bears, wolves, moose, or elk they eventually got through. On the fifth and sixth floors eagles and hawks were diving into the windows and breaking the glass. They eventually got through and started to attack any people they met. Dr. Jackson was on the third floor and she heard everything. People were starting to panic and ask questions in their ill state. The moose and elk stayed on the first floor with their rampage, but the wolves and bears traveled to all floors with their onslaught. They killed everyone they saw. On the third floor the ill patients couldn’t move. The animals concentrated their attacks on the hallway traffic first then they descended on the ill. They eventually put the ill out of their misery. They did this kind of attack on all floors and departments.

Dr. Jackson and Dr. Ballardo were still on the third floor isolated in a patients room. They had locked the door. It didn’t do any good. A big brown bear about ten feet tall busted the lock and came in. It clawed and whacked both doctors in the head crushing them both. They were killed instantly. Mr. Sellah was on the phone in his office on the fifth floor, trying to call the police for help.As he was looking out the window waiting for an answer he saw a streak of light go across the sky and the it was gone. Two eagles and two hawks slammed into the window breaking it. They started clawing at him. He started yelling for help. It didn’t do him any good. An eagle eventually clawed at his jugular causing him to start bleeding furiously. There was nothing he could do. The whole hospital was overrun by these animals. All the staff and patients were killed. The phone that Mr. Sellah had in his hands started having sounds on the other end of the phone. He was dead and blood was all over the floor.”Hello,” police chief Jim said. He was taking the call from his car. The police station was infested with rats. He decided to try to go to the hospital. Then an elk crashed into his car. Two buffalo also ran into it causing it to burst into flame. He was dead. The animals kept moving on.

  Crystal Lake, Illinois U.S.A. December 28, 2012, 9;00A.M.

Mike was jamming on his stereo set up through his computer to Judas Priest when he heard his entry buzz go off. He went to answer, it was his uncle Denny. He buzzed him in. When he got to the door on the second floor, they hugged and Denny came in.” How was your trip?” Mike asked. “Thankfully no major incidents,”Denny replied. Denny put his stuff down he traveled light. He had a couple of suitcases and a travel bag that was relatively small. Denny sat down and explained everything that had happened on the way up.He didn’t stay in hotels because they were abandoned because of all the animal activity. He just slept in his vehicle when he got tired. He explained that he covered himself in foil to keep his odor from escaping and to keep himself warm.

Mike explained that there were major Zoonosis disease cases in most of the buildings in the suburbs of Chicago. All the hospitals were either infested diseased, or overrun by animals. “This complex was in good shape,” Mike said and they were relatively safe. “ The only incidents are outside so far Den,” he explained. They were lucky it was colder here than in other parts of the world, so infestations were few this far north. They still happened though.

The phone rang it was Mike’s Dad. “ Mike I’m the only one left in this area that’s alive in our family.” “Your Mom brother, and his family all got killed on their way to the mall two days ago.” They ignored the warnings of animal attacks and got run into by deer.”” Then coyotes killed them.”’No funerals anymore for anybody because it’s too risky.” “I could die too.” “I’m in my car.” “ The house is infested with mice and the whole complex has the same problem.”” I need a place that’s not like this.” Can I stay with you for a while?” Mike replied with,”Sure you can.” “Just be careful on the way up” “There is still plenty of danger out there””Denny is here and we’ll try to stay safe here.”” I have enough food and supplies to last us for a month.” “This place is relatively safe for now,” Mike explained to his Dad. ‘ I’ll be there soon,’ Mike’s Dad exclaimed.”That was Dad he’s on his way up,” Mike told Denny. “We’ll try to hold out here,” Mike said. “I’m surprised more doesn’t go wrong with all the animal attacks and infestations around the world,” Mike stated.” I doubt it that I go back to work January 7.” The electricity and phones were working for the most part.

The phone rang again. This time it was Mike’s cell phone that went off. It was Steve his friend from New York. “Hey Mike how are you?””I’m surviving through all this shit,” Mike replied.”It’s a mess,” Steve returned. “I’m in my car my house was infested with spiders.”” They weren’t that poisonous but other people were getting suffocated while sleeping in their homes” “ So I got out while I could.””How’s it your way any infestations?’ “Not yet,” Mike replied. “ It could happen soon the birds around here are getting into other people houses.”” I’m lucky I have a gas fireplace.”” I’ll just light them on fire if they even try to perpetrate here.” Steve laughed,” Maybe we could cook some up for dinner too.” “Your welcome to come this way if you don’t have any alternatives.” “I will,” Steve said. “ All my family died from one thing or another with these animal happenings.”” There’s no zoo either the animals all escaped.””That’s fine be careful.” Mike hung up the phone. All of Mike’s other friends were already dead from all the chaos.”Well, were going to have some visitors for a while.” Denny didn’t have a problem with it. He got along with Mike’s Dad his brother and Mike’s friend Steve. He had met Steve before and knew he was a great guy. The birds weren’t as active today maybe because it was colder out. The complex was quiet.Denny looked out the window and saw a flash of light for two-seconds and then it was gone. He dismissed it as a meteor. No big deal he thought. Then the lights flickered once. The lights stayed on and so did the computer. Mike got curious and looked up online all the incidents from this. Most of them were updated online. There were tons of them recently.

  White House Washington D.C. December 28, 2012, 2:00 P.M.

The president was on his way up to the second floor of the White House. On this day it wasn’t a typical winter day in the capitol. It was sunny and 45 degrees out. The streets were full of wondering animals. He felt somewhat safe inside. The emergency phones were ringing off the hook with all kinds of disasters diseases, and infestations around the country and the world. He was interested in statistics from all this. He turned on his computer and researched everything. He got some of the information that he needed after about two hours of research. Usually his staff got this information for him he decided to do it himself today. Most of his staff was dead from one thing or another. He wanted to estimate how much population was left in the country and in the world.”It’s amazing these computers are working,” he reflected. “
I’m surprised mice haven’t bitten through the wires yet.” He kept at it until nightfall. He finally got too tired and passed out on the couch. It was eleven P.M.He woke up the next morning and continued the research. It was now December 28. He thought to himself that he was surprised that the land lines were still working also. Even though he had two cell phones for emergencies. Through the afternoon he finally got an estimate on the total amount dead for the country and the world. It was a stifling 150 million for the country and 3.5 billion for the world. This all happened in a week and a half. His jaw dropped with awe. He just stared at the walls in complete fear and awe. Most of the deaths were caused by disease and infestations. This was according to his research. The southern hemisphere was hit the hardest by malaria outbreaks. The northern hemisphere was hit hard by Zoonosis outbreaks. The northern hemisphere was by far more populated now with people.

The president got on the phone with the leader of the Russian Republic at the Kremlin. Nobody answered. He tried his cell phone same result. He tried other countries. He connected with the French embassy. The embassy was infested with rats so they had their problems. He told them to tell their people in some way to fight these animal outbreaks. There was no chance at getting top officials together. It was too risky and chaotic. Even though he knew individual people have fought battles against the animals and lost they were surprised when attacked. He thought to himself this is outright WAR! He communicated this to all the world leaders when he could. The only responses he got were from the French Japanese, and Chinese. He thought that wasn’t enough. The whole world should be aware of some kind of strategy. He rounded up anyone in the White House that was there then. There were 15 staff members available at this time during this crisis. He wanted to make a statement to the rest of the country over national television. It was too late. One of his secretaries Deanne ran out of one of the rooms when they got to the first floor.”MICE and RATS,” she screamed. “There are thousands to millions of them.” They already ate two of my assistants in that room alive” As they spoke millions of mice and rats were overrunning the White House. “Get to your cars and be careful of any animals outside,” the president exclaimed hurriedly. Most of them made it to their cars outside. They were lucky there weren’t too many animals outside at this time. The president thought he would try to relay his message some other way from his car. He wondered if he dare go to anyone’s house. The First Lady was one of the survivors from the infestation. As she looked out the window she saw a strange streak of bright light sail across the sky. It lasted for about five-seconds. It was fast and then it was gone. Little did they realize was that all other leaders of their countries went through something similar to infestations of their leading buildings of their nations. They also saw strange streaks of light around the world. It was happening more frequently all over.
