My Beginning With Mr. Darcy [Book Two]
Page 46
The spring days pass by with Elizabeth and Darcy enjoying their married life together. Each is busy with their own endeavors as part of sharing their lives with one another. Darcy catches up with all of his estate businesses and pursues other business investments. He visits his club several times to visit with some of his friends and to participate in his favorite sport other than riding – fencing. He does not remember when he has liked being in town during the season; obviously, he recognizes that it is due to his wife. Everything seems a little more joyous and brighter; he does not mind the dinner parties and balls too much, anymore. This is definitely due to his wife being comfortable at such gatherings and her being an eloquent conversationalist to whom he takes pride in listening. Of course, he has his share of conversations; he likes intelligent discussions, too. The biggest difference is that he is no longer burdened at being in the marriage mart on display as if he is the prized stallion. That was a huge encumbrance; one that he is only too happy to rid.
Darcy and Bingley catch up a few times at their club, and there is a clear difference in their conversations, now. Bingley still carries an undercurrent of sadness, assumably from the loss of Jane. Darcy does not want to sadden Bingley further by mentioning anything relating to Jane, but it is difficult because Elizabeth and Jane are close; therefore, some stories relate to the both of them. Darcy is careful not to mention Jane or Morgan. He contemplates whether he should mention about Jane’s wedding on the 30th. Darcy feels strange not to mention it to Bingley. There is no denying that Bingley will definitely see or hear about Jane if Bingley remains Darcy’s friend, especially when he will continue to invite Bingley to his home and to any Darcy events. Hence, there is no use in hiding this important occasion.
“Did you know that Jane and Morgan are to be married on the 30th?” Darcy poses nonchalantly. He really hopes that with Bingley’s usual jovial self, he will be able to move on and find another worthy young lady.
With clear surprise, Bingley’s head snaps towards Darcy with a wide stare. “Really?”
“Yes.” Darcy did not want to be the one to tell Bingley, but he thinks that it may be harder on Bingley if he hears the news from someone less sympathetic. He hopes that there has been sufficient time to ease some of Bingley’s sorrow and disappointment.
“Well…I wish Miss Bennet and Morgan much happiness; she deserves it. I made such a big, irreparable mistake.” Bingley shakes his head in disbelief. His heart is lanced each time he hears about Miss Bennet’s future moving on without him. He still cannot seem to get over it, yet.
Darcy could hear the misery and depression in Bingley’s voice. He cannot help but be empathetic and sympathetic. Sometimes, Darcy feels that he should have forced Bingley to see his ways sooner. Perhaps, he should have forcefully emphasized his opinions and made more suggestions on Bingley’s situation with Miss Bingley and Jane. Darcy had told Bingley several times in the past to curb and to correct Miss Bingley’s ways but Bingley did not. Darcy could not have continually nagged and coerced Bingley into it, right? Well, Bingley realized it too late. There is no use in dwelling on it now.
“I am truly sorry that it did not work out with you and Jane. I still hope that you will correct your sister’s attitude and behavior, though; she is certain to scare away your future potential bride. I do not think there are many tolerant ladies like Jane. If you remember, Jane tolerated Miss Bingley for you.” Darcy points out forthrightly but kindly. He just wants Bingley to do something about Miss Bingley. It is awful that Bingley had to lose his love because of his sister – a sister that does not care for his true happiness; she only cares that their family moves up the social ladder – no matter how.
“I know and that is what kills me, Darcy. How could I have made such a big mistake? And it is not as if Caroline appreciated it, either. Just because I do not like conflict and I am amiable does not mean she can take advantage of me anymore. We have not been on speaking terms for over three months now. She is not living with me, and I have relinquished her dowry to her. Can you believe she disparaged Miss Bennet, too? She thought that I would be angry and hateful towards Miss Bennet so she started to demean Miss Bennet and her family. That was the last straw. I told Caroline that Miss Bennet broke off our courtship because I was indecisive, because I did not protect her, and because I was a fool. Of course, I did not reveal Miss Lydia’s problem. I finally told Caroline that she was the biggest fool if she thought she was any better than other tradesmen’s daughters in her same position. Lastly, I told her that she can deny her roots all she likes, but she would always be a tradesman’s daughter. She was a mean, callous, hollow, ugly-hearted, ambitious tradesman’s daughter who feigned superiority; everyone knew it and disliked her all the same. The Ton will laugh at her once they find out that her family is from trade and she no longer has your friendship to shield her. As a woman she will not get as far as I could get in society. I told her that she made the biggest mistake in her social life when she got on your bad side. Louisa has told me that many, if not all, of her previous acquaintances do not invite her to any dinners or parties anymore. They only politely respond to her public greetings.”
“That is good that you spoke your mind, Bingley.” Darcy is impressed, but Bingley is still four months too late; what a shame.
“I am four months too late, Darcy. It is incredible how dense I was; that is what is incredible, here. DENSE!” Bingley states with conviction.
“Bingley, in essence, you were watching out for your family’s reputation, and that is admirable. However, how you did it is what was troublesome. I should have just pushed you and forced you to deal with your sister. I do not know, Bingley. I did not want to be responsible for you making the wrong decision in regards to your sister and your family. That is why I did not press you more, at the time.”
“Darcy, it is not your duty to coerce me to deal with Caroline. I remember that you had told me in the past about correcting Caroline, but it was not so important at the time.”
“Not so important? Bingley, she disparaged any young lady that even looked my way. She acted like she and I were more than we really were. She deliberately used my name to get her entrance to all sorts of events. She disparaged any young lady that you were interested if they did not meet her standards. She even disparaged you, sometimes. But let us not go over this again. I apologize; you already have problems with her, so I should not have said all those things.” Darcy sighs but is not truly upset.
“Unfortunately, you did not say anything wrong. I am just four months too late in taking action. That is all my responsibility. You cannot help it if I am dense.” Bingley states with self loathing.
“Come, Bingley; you are not dense. You are just very jovial and non-confrontational; that is not bad. Your younger sister is just very sly and demanding. Let us not dwell on this any longer. You have dealt with her; hence, you should try to move on, now. You are a good person, and you will find a good lady for your future. Do not give up; I know it is easier said than done but do try, Bingley. Will you come for dinner this Saturday?” Darcy tries to ease them away from this subject – one that they could dwell on forever. He can imagine the agony if he had lost Elizabeth; that would not have been a good sight, at all. Shivers run through his body at the thought.
“Yes, I will come for dinner. Will Miss Bennet and Morgan be there?” Bingley might as well be prepared for it; he cannot disconnect his friendship with Darcy; that is for certain.
“No, I have not thought of including them.” Darcy answers truthfully; he only wanted to spend some time with Bingley to try to bring him out of this hole that he is caught in. With his genial personality, he can be brought out; Darcy will help him all he can.
“Good, because I do not think I could handle an intimate dinner with them yet, Darcy. I do not want to dictate your guests but....”
“I understand, Bingley. I would not be that insensitive to you.” Darcy comments with great understanding.
“I must warn you that my compan
y is not what it used to be. You and Mrs. Darcy may be bored to death with me as a dinner guest.” Bingley chuckles lightly.
“We will risk it, Bingley.” Darcy jokes to try to lighten the mood. Knowing Bingley rather well, Darcy can see that Bingley has altered quite a bit due to a broken heart. Darcy completely empathizes; he had a taste of it for three weeks when Elizabeth refused his courtship at the beginning of their relationship. He does not like to think of that time; it was agonizing.
Over the days, Elizabeth devotes her entire mornings to learn from Mrs. Lane regarding running Darcy House while William is busy daily with his estate business and other Darcy holdings. Mrs. Lane says that Pemberley is on a grander scale, but the basics will be similar. There will be aspects that are specific to Pemberley which Mrs. Reynolds will help her learn. Mrs. Reynolds has been employed at Pemberley for twenty five years thus she knows all there is to know about caring for Pemberley.
When Elizabeth has some time in the afternoon, she goes in search of her husband. She is always happy to see her husband because she really misses him throughout the day if she does not see him until supper. She finds him busy in his study.
“Good afternoon, darling.” Elizabeth smiles joyously at her very handsome and serious husband.
“Good afternoon, dearest. What are you up to? Are you done with Mrs. Lane?”
“I am done with Mrs. Lane, and I miss you.” Elizabeth walks towards William’s desk.
“Come here, dearest.” Darcy extends his arms out in front of him as Elizabeth comes to sit right on his lap. He hugs her tightly and kisses her temple.
“I know you have much work to do; I do not mean to bother you.” She misses being with him at all hours of the day like they did when they were on their honeymoon. She has to admit that she does like to learn about caring for William and Darcy House, so she has not been bored with her duties.
“You never bother me. Do not say that; any time you need me, I will be there for you. Have you answered all of your correspondences today?”
“I have.” Elizabeth contentedly plays with William’s hair at the nape of his neck.
“Are you not going with Jane and your Aunt for Jane’s wedding gown and her wedding trousseau fittings?”
“I will go again tomorrow.” Elizabeth sees all the correspondences on William’s desk and it gives her an idea. “Darling, you have many correspondences, there. Do you have time to answer them all in a timely manner?”
“I try to go through them all and deal with the most urgent ones first and then make my way to the others. Why do you ask?” It feels good just to hold his wife; he is free to do that any time he wants now.
“I have much free time; I can help you. I can sort out all your correspondences and take care of all your personal and non-estate correspondences, including charitable requests. You can review and approve or disapprove them afterwards. That way you will have more free time to relax. You are so busy from morning to supper time. I know with such prominent estates and responsibilities you will have much to take care of, but that does not mean that you have to do everything yourself, right, darling?” Elizabeth inquires perceptively.
“That is correct.” Darcy answers understandingly.
“I do not mean you have to relinquish all your responsibilities, but you can look at it like a large company or a business because, in essence, Pemberley and all Darcy holdings are just that. You need to have people in various positions to do the job well, and then they report everything to you for your review and approval. For an estate as small as Longbourn, my Father could oversee every aspect of it. However, for something as large as all of the Darcy holdings, then you should have several main people to take care of the abundant, repetitive tasks and report to you.” Elizabeth caresses his left cheek tenderly.
“I do not mean to tell you what you should do, darling. I am certain that you know all of this already, but I know you are a very responsible person and you want everything to go well at all times – like me – so you take it upon yourself to be involved in every single aspect of all your holdings. That will require all of your time which…” Elizabeth hesitates because she does not want William to think that she is demanding all his free time. She understands that he has a tremendous amount of responsibilities that require his attention, but what about some time for him to relax and be with his family – her and their future children. Will he spend any time with them or will they be in line after his business? She does not expect a lot of his time, but if he does not delegate some of his estate duties, then he will have to continue to work as much as before which is all day and into the evening. She and their children will hardly see him.
“Which…what, dearest?” Darcy asks with much curiosity; he knew that she was sharp.
“Which…I…want some of your free time spent with me.” She pouts shyly. “I would like to help you with anything I can so that…I can be with you more. I miss you terribly when I do not see you the entire day.” Elizabeth responds sweetly. “If I am in here answering your correspondences, then, at least, I can be with you more throughout the day.” Elizabeth smiles bashfully as she looks up at William’s handsome face.
“Oh, dearest; you want to be with me more?” Darcy asks delightedly, and Elizabeth nods with a joyous smile. “That is what we will do. I will install a desk for you in here, and then we can work together. Would you like that?” Darcy beams with joy knowing that Elizabeth genuinely wants to be with him as much as he wants to be with her – which is all the time.
“Yes, very much.” She beams at his suggestion. “Additionally, I do not mind taking some time out to visit the tenants when we are at Pemberley to maintain a rapport with them so they know that they will be treated fairly and be taken cared of if they do their best for Pemberley. I think it is a simple give-and-take relationship, do you not, darling?”
“I always knew you were clever. You are my astute, smart, beautiful wife.” Darcy kisses his wife’s luscious lips unreservedly as Elizabeth giggles adorably. Her liveliness and joy generate a wealth of emotions in him that he can say only comes as a result of her love for him. He could not be happier, at this point in his life.
Darcy devours her mouth, and then he nibbles her neck and her bosom. Her scent is intoxicating, as usual, and her skin is soft and smooth. His ardor rises quickly; he wants to make love to her right now. “Dearest, am I able to love you again tonight? Are you well, again? I miss you so very much these past five days.” Even though Elizabeth had satisfied him in other ways, being inside of her love is the ultimate act.
Darcy goes back to kissing her bosom and slowly pulling the front of her dress down to expose her breasts. Once they are free from their silky chemise prison, he could not help but envelop them with his watering mouth, one at a time. While squeezing her bottom from outside of her morning dress, he thoroughly suckles her breasts eagerly and squeezes them to his delight. He can see that his last love marks on the underside of each breast has disappeared; he will refresh them when they are able to love each other more fully. Right now, he just wants to enjoy being inside of her love and bringing her ecstasy to ease both of them quickly from the lack of their joining for the past five days.
Elizabeth is hot with desire when William suckles her breasts; she enjoys it all the time, and he knows it, thus there is not one time when they make love that he does not either suckle her breasts or her most private place. She was embarrassed beyond belief when he suckled her there for the first time; he eased her into letting him do it. He assured her that it was part of how they can love each other. He has shown her the special spot that makes her explode with rapture whenever he rubs it or suckles it long enough. This explosion and the explosion from when he is inside of her are the ultimate sensations as a result of their love making. She becomes dazed, and she feels as if she is drifting in pure bliss when he brings her to that point of ecstasy; it is astounding – nothing comparable!
She knows that William is impatient for her monthly courses to be done.
She will reward his patience tonight; right now, she will give him pleasure with her mouth which he has proclaimed also brings him elation beyond words can describe.
“Tonight, darling; I have missed you so much, too.” She runs her hand through his thick, slightly curly hair as he continues to suckle her breasts enthusiastically feeding her desire even more. She reaches for his manhood that is hard and impressive, as usual. She unbuttons his breeches and strokes him intimately the way he has shown her; he groans in pure satisfaction. At the same time that Elizabeth is stroking his manhood, she gently eases his head back towards the chair that they are sitting on. He gives in to the pleasure of being stroked so tightly. Then, he feels that she has slid down from his lap, and when he opens his eyes, he can see her mouth envelop him.
“Oh God, Lizzy!” He groans in great gratification when his eyes lock on hers. She is doing exactly what he has shown her, and the sensation is thoroughly exhilarating! Her small moans grip him each time and the breathtaking view of her mouth on him is incomparable. Her small delicate hands squeeze and caress him, but they also stroke him vigorously enough to make him explode splendidly. “Yes, like that, love.”
He is entranced by his wonderful wanton wife. His mind is completely lustful and the only other thing he wants is to be inside of her heaven to give her the unbearable pleasure for which they yearn. However, he will wait until tonight. It is already a blessing that Elizabeth has given him this pleasure because she wants to please him.
He was beyond exulted when she expressed that she wanted to fulfill his dreams. He was afraid that she would find some of the love acts to be too unchaste, but she had said that she would like to try to please him just as he has pleased her. That meant her mouth suckling him, but he eased her into properly stroking him first; when she successfully made him explode, he stated that he was greatly satisfied with her ministrations. He could not find it in himself to explain to her that she can use her mouth, too; he wanted to leave it up to her if she wanted to try it. He felt it was too much for his innocent wife, but she had different ideas.
