“They’re coming back.” Scott said. “We can’t stay here.”
“Where are we supposed to go?” Em said.
“What was that?” Tod stood up and held onto the wall for support. “I just saw something that looked like diamonds in my mind.”
“I think I saw the same thing.” Kat said.
“That was my thought,” Ursa said. “There’s a resort on a lake. I visited there when I was a small.”
“Yes,” Dr. Myers said. “That’s perfect Quinault.”
“I remember it,” Callum said. “The lake looked like that in the afternoon when the sun hit it.”
“What do you remember? Was it populated?” Scott asked.
“No. I probably remember more than Ursa. I was ten and she was six. We drove a long way without seeing any homes or towns.”
“How big was the resort?” Scott asked.
“I’ll try to recall an image of the building.” They each received a blurry image of a long building, it was older and one story faced the lake with a mountain rising above it.
“I know that place!” Kat said smiling with her eyes closed. “I’ve been there before. It’s really in the middle of nowhere.”
“Good.” Scott said. “Now help me with supplies.”
