Mimi Mine

Her heart did a little somersault and she had to squelch the giddiness his words invoked. This was far out of her scope of experience and she needed to fight against building expectations. For now it was sex and she needed to be okay with that.
Of course he wouldn't want her to be with anyone else. It was only reasonable. Possessiveness and not wanting an STD didn't mean undying love.
CHAPTER NINE
“We were missing two air compressors and a crate of spark plugs from our last order. My floor manager sent you the invoice. I wouldn't have asked for a meeting had my managers at three different shops not been reporting issues of missing parts. This has happened multiple times now. We're getting charged on products that aren't being delivered. My floor managers have called you to complain, my business managers have called, now I'm having to call. I've given you my business for five years now, Tom,” Mason said to his parts distributor.
He listened with half an ear to Tom's apology and promise that they'd rectify the problem. Mason's mind was on the vision in front of him.
All the blood in his body had taken up residence in a certain central location. He ached but he didn't care. It was worth the misery of waiting. Wanting. She wanted too. He could see just how badly Mimi wanted. Her sex was wet her, labia puffed out. Her pussy lips were larger than any woman he'd been with before and he wondered how the silky folds would feel sliding against his cock.
Just the thought of sinking into her heat had his cock pulsing a beat against the front of his pants. Lord he had to stop thinking about sex.
Tom Mitler the owner of Mitler Distribution apologized again before wrapping up the call. Mason almost missed it, he'd stopped paying attention. “Sounds good, Tom. I hope there won't be any future problems either. I'll be in touch. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving, too.”
He hung up the phone and contemplated Mimi on sensual display for him, and obviously enjoying it. He still didn't understand what had come over him to tell her to stand in the corner. It was one of the many things he'd read and had automatically pictured Mimi the way she was now. Hair pulled back, skin flushed, her tight skirt around her waist...her level of arousal was a welcome surprise.
He had hoped, but to see the proof…
He'd meant it when he told her this was all new to him. He'd never felt more like he'd been navigating a minefield than their short discussion before his call. He knew how important the moment was in their budding relationship. One wrong move and the tenuous fibers holding them together would snap and he'd be back to being Mr. Coleman in a not-so-fun way.
When he'd stopped drinking he'd thrown himself into building his company. Dating had become an obligation and casual sex had lost its appeal. This past year things at Coleman Automotive had evened out. He had good people in place working for him. It had afforded him free-time and he'd begun to realize all the things he was missing in his life. He realized he hadn't been truly living much but existing from day to day.
He wanted to start rectifying that here and now like he'd never wanted anything before in his life. Rounding the corner of his desk he drew Mimi's attention.

Hearing Mason get up from his desk, it was on the tip of her tongue to say something cheeky and see if he'd spank her. The words died a quick death before they reached her lips. He had her whipped around and pushed against the flat of the wall in seconds. Her hands grasped at his shoulders to steady herself. He pushed at her panties and she quickly kicked them off as he took her mouth in a hungry kiss.
Pulling back, his clear, silvery gaze was penetrating. No one had ever looked at her with such naked longing before. This wasn't the stern task master of last night, nor was he the playfully scolding man of just a few minutes before. She had a feeling this was the true Mason in all his enigmatic glory.
A man who seemed to see her like no one else.
A shiver stole through her as he began releasing the buttons of her blouse, one by one. She wanted to feel him too but he brushed her hands away when she reached for him. Spreading the silky material of her shirt, he kissed his way down from her neck, taking each breast out of the cups of her bra to suckle and bite at the tips. The sensation drew needy whimpers from her throat.
When he dropped to his knees and lifted her thigh over his shoulder she grasped at him to steady herself even as her throat dried. His unexpectedly callused hands grasped her buttocks and pulled her hips forward to meet the hot rush of his mouth.
She was instantly swamped with sensation, crying out as he feasted at her core. It had been so long, she reveled in the feel of being touched so intimately. The work of his tongue and scrape of teeth on her swollen clit brought her over in bolts of quaking pleasure nearly as quickly as she had made him come last night.
Her legs were quivering and threatening to give out as he stood and gathered her in his embrace. The hot length of him rubbed against her core easily sliding back and forth through the copious moisture. The sensation made her eyes roll back and her head fall forward against his hard chest. She realized his pants pooled around his ankles.
Her vision was hazed with desire as she looked up at him. “Please,” she begged past the point of shame. She ached with the need to be filled. “Please Mason.”
Still, he just rubbed back and forth in a maddening tease against her sensitive flesh. “Are you on birth control?”
“Yes, yes, we're good. Now please. I need you inside me, Mason.” She took a moment to appreciate him asking. She was too far gone in a sensual fog to think of things like condoms. Her breath hissed out as he pushed in slowly. So damn slowly. “More, more,” she whimpered.
With a hand in her hair Mason pulled her head back until she looked up at him. His silver gaze pinned her in place, stilling all her squirming with its intensity.
“You will not rush me.” he said his gruff voice sending shivers through her body. “I want you to feel me, Mimi. Feel every inch of me inside you.”
“Oh, god, I feel you Mason. I feel you.” She'd never felt so surrounded and loved by one man. Which was insane. This wasn't love.
Inch by agonizing inch, his cock settled inside her, and she bit back her pleas. The breadth and stretch of him inside her felt so right.
Her pulse beat a rapid staccato in her veins. Her inner muscles flutter around the deliciously hard length filling her and she couldn't keep her hips from their involuntary thrusts. “I need you, Mason. I need you.” Oh god, did she need. She was past coherent thought as she clung to him begging for more.

Her little pleas spurred him on, but he refused to be hurried. He wanted to savor each and every hot, wet inch that enveloped him. She felt like heaven and he never wanted to leave her. He held himself high inside her tight sheath glorying in the moment. Her breath came in panting gasps as she clutched his shoulders. Her little hip bumps were sending maddening shock waves up his cock, threatening to send him over too soon.
Her roses and sunshine scent mixed with her sexual musk, making his head spin. Moving slowly at first, he enjoyed the drag as he eased out, and the way her breath hitched and her eyes rolled back when he pushed in. It was a sight he could get addicted to.
The clasp of her tight sheath drove him as he sped faster and faster not sure he'd last long as Mimi's cries rang in his ears, her hips trying match his every thrust.
Gasping, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer as she rode her own need. Every cry and hitch of her breath rang in his ears. Her body bowed and tightened further. “Oh God, yes Mason,” she cried in his neck.
His name on her lips as tremors shook her slender frame—her channel clenched down on his cock, sent him over. His cum shot out of him so hard his vision clouded as his hips mindlessly bucked forward again and again.
He was aware of nothing but clutching the woman in his arms. Mimi. His Mimi.
He held her tight as her body had held him, until they both stopped shaking. Until he stopped gulping air and his heart slowed down to som
ewhere just below stroke levels.
Gentling his hold, her legs slid down until her feet reached the floor, but still he held her against him. Cupping her delicate face, he kissed each cheek, then her temples before taking her mouth. Never had he felt so tender with a woman. So right. Like every cell of his being recognized this was his woman. When he released her from the kiss he just gazed down on her. Taking her in. She looked dazed and sexy as hell all tousled from his loving.
The phone ringing broke the spell and she winced closing her eyes and looking down. She pushed at his chest and he stepped back, hating the loss of her warmth.
Forgetting his pants were around his ankles he almost tripped backwards. Arms spinning wildly he caught himself on the corner of his desk before he could bust his ass. But not before Mimi's bark of laughter broke free. She quickly covered her mouth, but mirth shook her slender frame and her eyes danced with delight.
Pulling up his slacks he grinned. “I'm glad I could amuse you,” he said. He wanted to draw her back into his arms and steal a kiss from her smiling lips. He was relieved he'd broken what was turning into an awkward moment with clumsiness.
Her chuckle was so damn cute but she quickly grew quiet. Too quiet. She had already righted her skirt and was buttoning her blouse when he asked, “Are you alright?”
A blush stained her cheeks as she nodded, but didn't say anything. He was about to get her talk to him when a knock sounded on his office door making them both jump and look at each other warily.
He tucked in his shirt, smoothing down the front and checking his slacks to make sure he was appropriately attired. Opening the door, he slid out to close it behind him, more concerned with whoever was on the other side seeing a sex mussed Mimi, than having them wonder why he didn't want them in his office.
His floor manager, Carter Freeman, stood in front of him wearing an undecipherable expression on his ruddy face.
“Hey, Carter. What can I do for you?” Mason asked with forced nonchalance.
“Well—um. The thing is.” Carter shifted on his feet while he ran a chubby hand through his thick gray hair and Mason realized the man was uncomfortable.
“Is there something going on I need to know about Carter?”
“Yes, sir,” he said, rocking back on his heels. “That's just it.”
“Alright. I'm listening.”
If anything, Mason's words made his manager turn even redder. Looking everywhere but at Mason, Carter cleared his throat and said, “The break room is right under your office.” He rubbed the back of his neck again like he was pained. Mason was starting to feel his own neck tighten catching on to where Carter was going with this. “I wondered where everyone had gone,” Carter said. “And they'd gone to the break room. Seemed to uh, be listening, to the uhh...goings on there abouts.”
“Right,” Mason said, not knowing what else to say in this situation. Mimi was going to mortified. Dammit. “They don't know who I was—”
“Weeell, everyone's figuring since Mimi's the only one up here... Besides you both have a history. So I think it was assumed...”
“History?” Mason asked in genuine confusion.
“With, um little Zeke being your um—” Carter waved a hand in Mason's direction seeming to be at a loss for words. When Mason's eyebrows went up in shock Carter quickly said, “It's just speculation, I guess. I heard it from—well it's making the rounds.”
Lord, Mason thought, Mimi was right. That little misunderstanding was making its way around town. It was only Wednesday and everyone who worked for him was already thinking the worst. And he'd just added fuel to the flame.
“Mr. Coleman, I don't want to tell you how to live your life. What you both do is your own business. But, Ms. Westfall is a nice lady. I hate to think...the guys might have the wrong impression.”
Mason ran a hand through his hair, the full implications of what he'd just done by taking Mimi in his office crashing down on him. She was going to be horrified. She may be ashamed enough to quit. He couldn't let that happen.
An insane thought bubbled across his mind and out his mouth before he knew it. “We were celebrating our engagement.” He heard an outraged huff on the other side of the door and he followed up with, “We were keeping it hush hush.”
“Oh, I understand,” Carter said. In a conspiratorial tone he said, “Not very hush hush anymore.”
“No,” Mason said. “I guess the cat's out of the bag.”
“Well, I for one am glad to see you're doing right by Mimi and her, er um your boy. Sweet kid. Mrs. Freeman would call me a romantic but I do like to see things work out for a young family like yours. Let me be the first to congratulate you.”
“Thank you, Carter.”
“I better get back down to the garage. Mrs. Wallace is due to pick up her Cadillac and she usually likes to complain about her bill, even though it's the same every damn time she comes in. Have a good holiday Mr. Coleman.”
“You too, Carter,” Mason said, with fake cheer. He was already dreading opening his office door and dealing with an understandably irate Mimi. The irrational part of his brain grew hopeful that Mimi hadn't heard his discussion with Carter. Mason could break the news of their exhibitionism and subsequent impending nuptials gently.
His optimistic thoughts were dashed the second he opened the door.
“Are you insane?” Mimi hissed in a whisper shout.
Are you insane? Perhaps he was because the longer he thought about it, the more it made sense. Call him an opportunist but he was quickly warming to the idea of having an instant family. Not that they were actually engaged he reminded himself.
Putting his hands up in surrender he tried to reason with her. “It's a good idea when you think about it.”
“What part, Mason? Letting everyone think you really are Zeke's father or the part where everyone thinks we're getting married?”
“Both?”
“How?!”
“Just hear me out,” he said trying to sound rational. “Everyone heard us in the act. I for one don't want any of those guys thinking you're the kind of woman that just bangs her boss.”
“I am the kind of woman that bangs her boss, Mason. In case you missed it, that's what I just did.”
“No you're not. We're different, this was different. We're more than boss and employee.”
“I'll take your word for that,” she said. The statement chafed. “What about letting Carter think you're Zeke's dad?”
“Eh, that was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I don't think he really believed that,” he hedged. “Which it won't matter anyways.”
“Oh please do explain, ‘cause I'm feeling a bit lost.”
“Well, we'll be ‘engaged,’ until we see where this,” he waved a finger between them, “is going. If it doesn't work out—” he'd have to carve out his heart. “If it doesn't doesn't work out you break up with me, and people will realize Zeke isn't my son. I promise to vehemently deny any parentage to your son from now on. I was caught unaware.”
“That's what you said after the ‘misunderstanding’ with Craig,” she said between clenched teeth.
“No, with Craig I was a jealous asshat. Completely different.” He ignored her huff of indignation and kept talking. “Saying we're engaged and leaving it at that seemed like the best course of action. I didn't know what else to do.”
“What the hell am I supposed to tell my family? Huh? We agreed on hush hush. How did this go from just sex to something way more complicated?”
“Is that what you really think, Mimi? That this is ‘just sex’?” He'd agreed on hush hush, he had not agreed on casual sex.
“What else am I supposed to think?”
“Right,” he said, trying not to show the disappointment spearing through his chest.
“Can you honestly tell me it's not?”
“Yes, yes I can because I genuinely care about you. I genuinely want you and Zeke in my life. I want to see you, get to know you. Be an active part of your life. Not just
get laid. But I guess the feeling isn't mutual.”
*** ***
Mimi rubbed her forehead in frustration. Why did she feel like she just stepped in dog doo? Mason was the one who had told Carter they were getting married for goodness sake. She had every right to be mad. And she had obviously misread things.
“I didn't want to presume that you'd want more than...you-know-what.”
“Do you want more than you-know-what?”
Shrugging, she nodded her head. “Yeah, I had thought it might be nice.” She had thought it would be more than nice.
“Then why would you settle for ‘just sex’?”
Deflated she blew out a frustrated breath. She hadn't thought of it that way at all. She'd just been so damn lonely, and he'd made her feel more than anyone had...ever. It was terrifying. She would have taken whatever he'd been willing to give. And didn't that just make her royally pathetic? “Can we have a do-over?”
“No.” She looked at him in question and he said, “I don't want to take any backward steps. Forward steps only. How about we go out to dinner tonight? We could go out, or I could cook and we could stay in.”
Disappointment shot through her. Dinner with Mason sounded wonderful. “Zeke has program tonight at his school.” Her son was one of the singing turkeys. She'd dutifully sewed and glued all the felt feathers on his costume Sunday night.
“We could go to Zeke's program together.”
Her eyes snapped to his at his suggestion. It was all too easy to imagine Mason sitting next to her on the uncomfortable fold out seats watching and listening to a group of kids miss lines and sing off key. The thought filled her with warmth that had nothing to do with sex. Other than her parents she'd never had anyone to share those moments with. But then she thought of Zeke.
She didn't want him to get attached to Mason and then have things not work out. It was bad enough she'd be devastated. She didn't need her son nursing a broken heart as well. Zeke already asked to call and say goodnight to Mason every night since Saturday. She always put him off, and they'd call her parents instead.
