“Sirena,” he groans, his breaths growing heavier.

Taking pity on the man, I tell him, “I’ll be fine until you take me back to the room, and then we’ll have a quickie before you come back down here.”

He groans and chuckles. “I need to calm down before we go anywhere.” Our eyes meet, and he gently cups my face in his hands. Caressing my cheeks with his thumbs, he whispers. “I love you.”

“You make my knees weak when you look at me like you are . . . with all your feelings for me clear in your beautiful blue eyes.” I turn my face and place a kiss to his palm, and then, my cousin interrupts us.

Alexander looks between us and with a smirk on his lips, says to Garrett, “Haven’t you got a hotel to open?”

Garrett laughs and wrapping an arm around my waist, follows Alexander to the middle of the dance floor as a hush falls over the ballroom.

I’d much rather be sat on the sidelines, especially in my pregnant state, but my man obviously wants me beside him, and that fills me with joy, and nerves. There are so many people watching us, and I catch a few people frowning when they look at me, and then to Garrett.

I know what those people are thinking and the thing is, I really don’t care. Nothing and no one will alter my love for the man standing proudly beside me.

He’s incredibly handsome and he fills out his tux more than enough to make me swoon—so delicious and I can’t wait to be alone with him later. He accepts the microphone in the quiet room and when he says, “My fiancée and I would like to welcome you to The Hudson Nirvana . . .” I don’t hear anything else because his introduction thrills me and so does the look of pride in his eyes when he says those words.

I guess there is no time like the present to announce to all our friends and family who are present this evening that we’re moving forward in life together.

By the time the speech is over and the applause has died down we’re surrounded by people eager to offer congratulations. They offer well wishes, not just for the hotel, but for our engagement as well.

The room becomes warm, hot even, just before it starts to become blurry, and as though at the opposite end of a tunnel to me, I hear Garrett talking, asking if I’m all right. I clutch his arm with my sweaty hand and then before I can register what exactly is happening, I feel strong arms lift me. Seconds later, I’m sitting on a sofa with Garrett rapidly waving something in front of my face to try and cool me down.

My vision starts to clear and with relief, I breathe calmly and know that if I don’t calm Garrett down that we’re going to be taking a trip to the hospital. Reaching out, I pull him closer and lay my palm against the side of his face. “I’m okay, now. I promise.”

“You nearly passed out, Sirena,” he says. “You scared me.”

“I’m sorry. It just got too warm with everyone around us.” I smile and opening my mouth to say what . . . when to my horror, Harry’s parents suddenly appear behind Garrett.

He notices my distraction and straightening, turns. He glances at me and back to Tina and Charles, offering his hand in introduction. “You’re friends of Sirena?”

Hearing his question snaps me out of my shock as I reach for his hand. “Help me up, please.” On my feet, I say with a nod of my head, “Tina, Charles.” To Garrett, I add, “Harry’s parents.”

“You’re looking very well, Sirena,” Charles observes while finding it difficult to keep his eyes from straying to my belly.

“I am well,” I smile up at Garrett, “and that’s because I have my love looking after me.”

“Harry never mentioned that you were pregnant?” Tina mentions, a single brow risen in question.

I grip Garrett’s hand. “Why would he?”

Tina frowns. “Surely you’re not saying that you had an affair whilst married to our son?”

Garrett opens his mouth to respond, but I beat him to it. “My marriage to your son should never have happened, which is something we both realized as soon as we said ‘I do’. I found my heart the moment I laid eyes on Garrett.” I snuggle into Garrett’s side, and say, “Let’s go.”

He looks worried and I know it’s because he’s worried about me.

“If you’ll excuse us, my fiancée needs to rest,” he says politely, however, I get the feeling that he’s angry on my behalf.

Ushering me away from the other couple as quickly as he can, I try to ignore the mumbling behind us. At the elevator Garrett rabidly prods the up button a few times as though that will make it arrive quicker.

“Garrett, honey,” a sticky sweet voice chirps.

I watch as his shoulders tense and he completely stills at the sound of the other voice. Curiosity getting the better of me, I turn and watch a beautiful woman with soft blonde hair and a figure that I’d kill for right now, drift up close and personal to my man.

“Clarissa,” he snaps, which draws my gaze to his face.

Most men would be taken by her beauty, but Garrett actually looks pissed to see her.

“What are you doing here? You weren’t invited, regardless of your endless attempts to obtain a ticket.”

“Is that any way to talk to a lover?” she says in a patronizing tone.

I’ve changed my opinion of her and she’s an ugly woman who sure as hell doesn’t know Garrett very well if she’s trying to upset me.

“You are not my lover,” he hisses, “nor have you ever been. I suggest you leave my hotel and go to another.” With those words, he waves over security. “Please escort Ms. Redford to the door, she isn’t welcome in this hotel. Ever.”

“You can’t do this,” she screeches, drawing everyone’s attention to us.

He nods at the security guards, and they start to move her away, as he ushers me into the elevator.

Garrett tugs me into his arms and leans against the wall of the moving elevator. My ear is pressed against his chest and I hear his heart pounding. “Do you believe me, Sirena? About—”

“About the ugliness of Clarissa?” I interrupt and meet his gaze. “Yes, I believe you. I trust you Garrett, and as we discovered within five minutes of each other, we both have pasts . . . I do have to ask though, who was that woman?” I smirk, feeling slightly amused.

He tucks me under his arm as we move to our room.

“I once did business with Clarissa’s father.” I kiss Sirena’s shoulder, and sit her down on the cream chaise lounge chair at the end of the bed. “She wanted more than I was interested in.” I smile at her as I slip my hands down her silky legs to her swollen ankles.

Removing her shoes gently, I take hold of one foot and start to massage. “I was interested in business with her father and that was all. When her father realized where his daughter’s affections lay, he gave me an ultimatum: he’d do business with me if I married his daughter. I walked away and I never once looked back, even when he came to me a few days later. I told him no. He wasn’t happy, in fact he was angry as hell. However, I pointed out that my personal life would never be a bargaining chip and that he’d crossed the line. There would never be any trust between us and I can’t work with someone that I don’t trust.”

Massaging her other foot, I add, “He apologized about a month later and admitted that he’d been in the wrong.” Letting go of her soft foot, I shrug out of my jacket. “I’ve never done business with him and I never will.”

“You’re an honorable man, Garrett Hudson.”

I kneel between her spread thighs and leaning forward, kiss her belly. Her hands slide into my hair, causing my body to shudder in pleasure and my erection to go from hard to rock solid in seconds.

“Don’t you have to go back downstairs?”

“Eventually . . . however, I have a horny, pregnant fiancée to take care of first.” I slip my hands up beneath her dress and smile against her belly when her legs quiver as I rub her pussy through her soaked panties. “You’re always so ready for me.”

“You have no idea,” she chuckles, which quic
kly shifts into a moan when I slip a finger beneath her panties. “I need to be naked.” She pants, gripping my hair.

“I totally agree.” Standing, I back away slightly and quickly remove my shirt and tie. Her eyes roam over my torso, and widen as they move lower and she sees my arousal tenting my trousers.

Grinning, I slide my trousers and briefs down my legs before I face her.

Her gasp and the heat in her eyes has my cock twitching and pulsing with need, precum pools on the tip, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I’m about to come from her eyes on me alone.

“I want to taste you,” she whispers, her voice husky with arousal.

My legs carry me closer, and when her slender fingers curl around my shaft, and her head tilts forward, I snap my eyes closed from the visual stimulation . . . and then I feel her tongue lick around the bulging head, and I need to watch.

My breaths become heavy and when she takes me into her mouth, the warm wetness that I feel surrounding me, has my balls pulling tight. Her mouth feels like heaven and watching as she slowly rises to the tip, makes my toes curl at the wetness I see coating my shaft.

I cup her face and gently move her away. “I want to come with you.” Kissing her on the end of her nose, I take her hand and pulling her to her feet, I unfasten her dress.

I help her step out of the sheath and catch my breath when her full breasts swing free. “Gorgeous,” I mumble, taking her panties to the floor, she steps out and then moves to sit on the side of the bed.

“Lie back, I’m going to help you sleep.” I smirk.

“Sleep!” she squeaks when I shove her back and spread her thighs. “I think we’ll get two orgasms out of you before I go and say goodnight to our guests.”

I growl as I rub over her mound that now has a light covering of public hair.

Sirena twitches and moans. “I can’t wait until I can see down there again so that I can shave.”

“Don’t you dare, honey. It’s sexy as hell and I love how soft it feels when I stroke.”

  “It’s embarrassing,” she groans.

“You have nothing to be embarrassed about . . . now relax and enjoy.”

I softly blow along the swollen lips of her pussy and before pressing against were she wants me the most, I kiss the inside of each thigh. “You are so beautiful,” I whisper, as I begin to love her.

Long minutes tick by as her essence seeps onto my tongue, her arousal heavy in the air, and her small moans of pleasure go straight to my erection, which throbs and aches.

“Garrett, stop!” Sirena grabs at my shoulder. “Not like this. I need to see you.”

  I frown.

“My stomach is in the way.” She holds her arms out and with one last kiss on her wet pussy, I move to lie beside her.

My dick presses against her thigh but jumps for joy when she turns away from me. I grab her hips and raise one of her legs, back, over the top of mine to open her up.

Taking hold of my cock, I slowly ease inside, and pray that I don’t come before she does. Once I’m buried so deeply inside of her, I move my hands to cup her large breasts. Her nipples are hard, swollen buds between my fingers and thumbs, and I can’t wait to make love to her once our child is born. To be able to feel her front completely against me, and to be able to suckle on her breasts while I love her, is something that I look forward to.

  “Garrett,” Sirena moans. “I think,” she pants, “that I’m going to . . . Oh . . . Oh!”

“That’s it. Come on my dick.”

The vice like grip she has on my cock makes me see stars as she writhes in pleasure while I try to hold it together that bit longer.

Eventually tiny flutters run back and forth along my shaft, and that’s when I start to slowly make love to her. Sirena turns her head and I find her lips with my own. Our tongues dance together to the rhythm of our bodies. Pinching and rolling her nipples, my lust takes over and before I know it our bodies are slapping together in wet heat. The minute I feel her climax quiver against me, I come. I come so hard that my eyes cross. Every time semen shoots out along my flesh, her core convulses, trapping me inside of her.

Panting, I move my arms so that one is being used as a pillow, and the other, I rest across her hip as I slowly ease her leg back to the bed. We both groan when I slip out of her body and massaging her hip, I whisper, “Do you want a shirt?”

“Soon. I’m just enjoying you holding me.”

“Always.” I stay spooning her for a few minutes and then I kiss her shoulder before moving from the bed. Grabbing a sleep shirt, I help Sirena into it and settle her back on the bed.

“I’m going to head back downstairs,” I whisper before placing a tender kiss to her lips. “Will you be okay?”

She smiles softly. “I’m probably going to be asleep before you leave.”

“Mmm.” I hover over her lips and give her a whisper of a kiss before reaching for my clothes.

She’s already softly snoring. Just looking at her makes my heart sing with love. She’s an amazing woman and the only one who I’ve ever let close—the only one who I’ve ever let capture my heart.

Walking into the ballroom the party is still in full swing, exactly what I expected. I blend into the dark and watch the guests having a good time, knowing that a lot of business will get done tonight. That’s just the way these things are.

Although I’m thrilled at what I’ve accomplished with The Hudson Group, I’m tired. It was only meeting Sirena that had made me realize just how many great things in life that I’d been missing out on because I wouldn’t let anyone close. I do like to think that I was waiting for her because she’s certainly captivated me. She’s held my attention from the first moment, and I don’t want to lose that.

Sirena glows with happiness, even though she’s supposed to be limiting what she gets up to, she overflows with excitement as her due date gets closer, but first we have a wedding to arrange.

“You had enough already?” questions Sirena’s father from behind me.

Startled but still in good humor, I admit, “You’ve found me out.” I laugh. “I was wondering about your daughter, and the fact that I’ve waited a long time to find her.” I shrug, a blush working its way onto my face. “We missed you earlier.”

Now it’s Michael’s turn to blush as his eyes fill with mirth.

No need to ask why he’s late in arriving.

Clearing my throat, I completely change the subject, “Would you and your wife like to come to dinner at our house on, say, Friday?”

He takes a sip of the brown liquid from the crystal glass he’s holding. “We’ll be there.”

“Six, and we’ll eat around seven.” I grin. “Or maybe earlier. Sirena needs to eat regular meals so she doesn’t feel off.”

“Don’t worry about us. We’ll fall in with whatever she needs.” He holds his hand out, which I take. “You’re a good man Garrett.” His attention is captured over my shoulder. “I’ll see you Friday.”

I follow his movements and watch as he gathers his wife into his arms. They’ve been together a long time so the love and affection they obviously still share after such a long time is nice to watch. It also makes me want to be back in the room with Sirena. I want and need her close.

Shaking my head, I make my way around the function room as quickly as possible, so that I can leave and head up to my family.

  Sirena

“I have a surprise for you.” Garrett grins as he navigates us back to the house.

We’d spent three nights in the new hotel and it was amazing being pampered. What was even better was the fact that Garrett worked from the hotel room when he could and then he got to relax in the evening. No meals to prepare because I had to rest, no dishes to wash. It was the relaxation that I think we had both needed, but now I’m curious as to what surprise he has in store for me.

“Are you just going to tease me with that?” I turn and rest the side of my head against the seat, hoping my puppy dog
eyes will convince him to tell me more. “That isn’t even a clue.”

He chuckles, looking relaxed in worn jeans and T-shirt, one of his strong hands rests on my knee, and the other the steering wheel. “It’s something that I hope you are going to love,” he says, maybe a bit unsure of himself. “At least I hope you’re going to love it.”

“Hmm. Now I’m even more curious than I was before.” I settle back into my seat and contemplate what it could possible be. “You’re mentioning it now because it’s at the house, right?”

  “Maybe.”

“Yes! So, if it’s at the house then it has to be something that wasn’t there before we left otherwise I’d have been around if a delivery had arrived.” I’m watching him closely while his eyes swim with mirth.

“You’ll see soon enough.” He smirks, pulling up outside of the house. “Let me come around and help you.”

Softly smiling, I watch him move around to my side of the car. He opens the door and slips an arm beneath my legs. “Please let me walk.”

He meets my gaze and sees that I’m serious so instead, he lifts me down and intertwines our fingers together. After placing a sweet kiss to my knuckles we stroll inside.

As we enter a light odor hits me. Nothing too strong just something to make my nose twitch. I can’t quite put my finger on it. I glance at Garret who smiles, leading me upstairs.

“I’d hoped the smell would have gone by now,” he comments, directing me into the bedroom, directly beside ours.

My brain struggles to take in what I’m seeing, from the freshly painted cream walls, to the brightly colored animal mural on one wall. A beautiful wooden crib, rocking chair, and baby changing station have all been set up. The shopping bags with baby clothing and accessories have been set to one side of the door, and it’s just amazing.

Garrett leads me to the rocking chair and helping me sit, leans forward and kisses my cheek. His lips hover over my lips as he asks, “Good surprise?”
