He moaned as the texture of Saber’s neatly trimmed beard drug against his neck as the man’s full lips planted hot kisses in its wake. It was such a contrasting feeling that the sensuality was heightened and Mack had to close his eyes to bear all of it. This was the last thing he had expected to happen after his brush with death. But now he couldn’t have been more glad that he had walked into the wrong bar and ran into the right man.

He pushed Saber’s leather jacket off and peeled his white T-shirt over his head. The man was fully decorated with tribal wolf tattoos across his chest and down his arms. His body was perfect, and he looked as if he were some kind of bodybuilder. Compared to him, Lance looked like a thin, scrawny excuse of a man. Although Lance was toned, he was extremely skinny and rarely ate full meals. It had been refreshing to see a man with a good appetite. Sometimes Mack had felt guilty for enjoying food in front of Lance, who would pout and look away as if he had seen something disgusting.

Saber wrapped him in his strong arms, letting his hands roam up and down Mack’s naked torso. Mack’s bare back was against Saber’s chest and he could feel the rippling muscles rising and falling as the large man breathed heavily, overwhelmed by the intensity of his longing. Mack began to feel the physical effects of his lust through the thin material of his black slacks, and realized that Saber must have released his member from its denim prison.

Mack groaned and Saber reached inside the slacks and grabbed Mack around the shaft, tugging with a sensual and tantalizing slowness until his palm was cupped around the head of Mack’s penis. His member shuddered in the man’s strong grasp, and a tiny squirt of pre-cum oozed into his hand. Saber was apparently very experienced. Every movement of his hand was calculated to enhance Mack’s pleasure beyond anything he had experienced with another man before.

Soon, Saber was increasing the pressure and the speed with which he tugged on Mack’s swollen cock, and Mack found himself begging Saber to slow down.

“If you don’t stop, I’m going to come. It’s too soon,” Mack pleaded.

Saber grinned and shook his head against Mack’s neck. “That’s the point,” he said, his voice dancing with a smile that Mack couldn’t see.

He groaned as the familiar tingle began in his abdomen and his shaft began to quiver. Saber squeezed him hard, cupping his palm so that he would catch the majority of the hot load that erupted from deep within Mack’s loins. They both moaned as he emptied himself into Saber’s hand.

Suddenly, his black slacks were on the ground and he could feel Saber stroking himself behind him, lubricating his shaft using Mack’s semen. It was rare that Mack had been fucked from behind, but it seemed rather fitting that he should find himself in this position with a man like Saber. Usually, he was the one being dominant with Lance, and frankly he was tired of it. It was time to let himself be taken.

Saber uttered an almost inhuman-sounding growl that made goose bumps stand up on Mack’s naked flesh as he began to grind against Mack’s exposed ass. It felt better than he could’ve imagined to have Saber’s powerful body behind him, his hands roaming up and down the contours of Mack’s body and finally resting once again on his shaft, which had started becoming half hard again.

“Are you ready?” Saber growled into his ear.

Mack was afraid to say no, afraid that the good feeling might stop, and so he nodded enthusiastically, even though he hadn’t fully recovered from his orgasm yet.

Suddenly, Saber slid his cock slowly inside of Mack, who groaned deeply in a voice that didn’t sound entirely his own. Saber chuckled, caressing Mack’s body and rubbing the smaller man’s penis until it was fully engorged once again.

“You remember what I told you?” Saber hissed into Mack’s ear.

Mack whimpered, unable to answer as he was overwhelmed by the hot throbbing sensation in his body as Saber pushed himself deeper inside.

“When I go, I go fuckin’ hard. And, boy, I hope you are telling the truth, cuz there’s no stopping me now.”

Mack hissed in a combination of pleasure and slight pain as Saber’s enormous shaft plunged completely inside of him. The man was bigger than Mack could ever have imagined, and hot tears sprung up into his eyes as his own shaft became rock hard in Saber’s grip.

“I take it you like that,” Saber said. “Good, because I have more for you.”

He moved Mack toward the wall so that the slight man could brace himself for the impact. Mack had never been more ready for anything in his life, and Saber didn’t let him down. He thrust his powerful hips back and forth at a speed that Mack could only dream of, loyally jerking Mack’s hard cock back and forth and fondling his balls.

Suddenly, Saber’s body began to tremble, and Mack could feel the man’s member engorged inside of him, quaking and ready to erupt. He wanted so badly to feel Saber coming powerfully inside of him, but instead, the man pulled out just as the hot rush of liquid began to erupt. His back was suddenly sprayed by a powerful torrent of semen, and Mack hissed in pleasure as he felt the contractions of Saber’s head slowing down on the small of his back. He turned around to face him.

  “Fuck, that was goo-”

Before he could finish his sentence, Mack’s cock was enveloped by Saber’s hot mouth. A deep moan escaped his lips as the strong man did a number on him unlike anything he had ever experienced. His tongue moved rapidly, and soon milked another orgasm from Mack. They both cried out in pleasure as his shaft began to quiver in Saber’s mouth until finally, the powerful blast of white surged against his lips.

Mack collapsed against the wall, breathing heavily for a few moments with his eyes closed. When he opened them, Saber was already getting dressed. His back was to Mack, and he noticed another tribal tattoo that reached across his shoulder blades. He was about to say something to Saber, finally feeling more comfortable with the man, when Saber began walking toward the bathroom door.

“I’m tired. You should get out of here.”

And with that, he closed the door behind him.

  Chapter 7

Mack lay in his sleeping bag, tossing and turning all night. On the one hand, he was wildly excited to have been able to experience such a blissful night, and had had to relieve himself of the excitement more than once. Luckily he was in the great outdoors, and there was nobody around to see him touching himself. On the other hand, he felt rejected and sad. Why had Saber suddenly grown so cold? Had he done something wrong?

Maybe he was just afraid of contracting unknown diseases. He had accidentally started coming right into Saber’s mouth. That was pretty bad etiquette. You were supposed to warn somebody if you were going to come, especially if you didn’t know them. What if Saber was disgusted by him and worried that he might have contracted some kind of sexually transmitted infection?

He couldn’t help kick himself. That had been stupid of him. He probably would’ve been put off if somebody had done the same thing to him. Saber had been polite enough to pull out. That must have been what it was. He was just going to have to find Saber again and apologize. But he would worry about that later. If he was going to get any rest, he would have to try and put the man out of his mind. Otherwise, hiking was going to feel impossible.

He finally got some sleep and was woken up with the rising of the sun. The resolve to keep Saber out of his mind stuck with him throughout his waking hours, and he was able to continue on his journey unimpeded. He was going to make this time to learn more about himself. Who was he without his fancy car and fancy house and fancy boyfriend? Who was he outside of LA?

That wasn’t anything that Saber could answer, and it wasn’t anything that Mack would be able to figure out if his mind was cluttered with worries about what he had done wrong. Maybe things would turn out all right between him and Saber once the man realized that Mack was clean and hadn’t infected him with anything by coming into his mouth. Either way, this was going to be his chance to liberate himself from all of these thoughts. He was going to figure out where he belonged in the world, and onl
y the wilderness was going to help him to do that.

He spent the day hiking and reflecting on his life. He thought about calling his father again, but decided against it. Instead, he simply took the time to enjoy his life. He swam in the icy spring water and even tried climbing a tree. While he was up there, he suddenly spotted the same white wolf with the ice blue eyes far off in the distance. The wolf had spotted him too and was staring at him with a knowing look. It was unsettling, and he almost felt unsafe. However, the wolf was far enough away that he felt all right, and he lingered in the tree until it turned its back on Mack and disappeared into the woods.

  Chapter 8

After a few more days, Mack finally decided that it was time to confront Saber. He had never been so deeply satisfied by another person before, and from the sounds Saber had been making, it seemed as if the same was true of him. Besides, he had implied that Mack would get a second date when they were at the diner. He was going to have to man up and confront him or else the rest of his time in the mountains would be spent wondering what he had done wrong.

He climbed into his car, considering whether or not he should try to find Saber at his house or at the club first. He decided his house would be the safer bet. He had felt uncomfortable and out of place in the motorcycle club and didn’t really feel like getting into trouble if Saber wasn’t there. The men had seemed bitter and resentful toward him for one reason or another, and he knew that he didn’t belong there. Still, Saber had left his mark and he had to try to find him.

He was thankful that he could remember the way to Saber’s house, but when he arrived there his bike was gone. He walked up to the door and knocked, but nobody answered. The house was dark. All signs indicated that Saber wasn’t home.

Mack sighed to himself, unhappy with the prospect of having to go back to the motorcycle club. At the very least, this time he was dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, so he wouldn’t stand out quite as much as he had in his business casual wear. Still, he wasn’t looking forward to stepping foot in the MC again.

However, he was forced to face his fears. Whether the men hated him or not, even if Saber hated him, he needed his closure and he was going to get it. It was a stubborn streak that had made him successful in LA, and the same successful strength that would probably get him killed near the Joshua Tree National Park.

When he parked his car, he made sure to park across the street to try and stay as inconspicuous as possible. He walked across the street, looking around at the bikes to see if Saber’s motorcycle was there. Unfortunately, he couldn’t remember what Saber’s bike looked like in the sea of all the other motorcycles, although he knew that it would probably get him an ass kicking if he admitted that out loud to anybody in the MC.

Mack took a deep breath and forced himself inside, allowing himself a moment for his eyes to adjust to the dim lights of the bar. Saber was standing in the corner, dressed in a V-neck T-shirt and a leather vest in tight black jeans. His hair was down, and he could see the golden waves perfectly for the first time. As they began to notice him come inside, everybody fell silent, just as they had the first time Mack had visited the MC.

“What the hell is that kid doing in here again?” a huge, scary-looking man demanded, eyeing Saber threateningly.

“Back off of him,” Saber demanded, his blue eyes flashing. That was all the anybody needed to hear. Everybody began to go about their business as usual, pretending that they had just made the environment completely welcome for Mack. Mack inhaled, wondering whether he should make his way toward Saber. Fortunately, Saber saved him the trouble, and began striding toward the doorway to meet Mack.

“Let’s talk about this outside,” Saber said, putting a heavy hand on Mack’s shoulder and gently pushing him out the door. When they were alone, Saber turned to him with his eyebrow raised.

“You have your hair done today,” Mack said stupidly. He thought that Saber was going to berate him, but instead the hulking man laughed.

“Yeah, and yours is still is short and neat as ever. What’s your point?”

“Are we okay?” Mack said, looking down at the dirt. He hadn’t really planned what he was going to say, all he knew was that he needed to say something.

“I’m breathing, I don’t know about you,” Saber said, giving him an incredulous look.

“Yeah, breathing is good. But I was just wondering if I messed things up back at your place somehow,” Mack said, shifting nervously.

“Messed things up?” Saber asked, legitimately confused now. “How would you do that?”

“I’m actually really good at it,” Mack said with a laugh. “I don’t really know how I do it, that’s why I’m asking.”

“Well, you didn’t do anything wrong if that’s what you’re worried about. But I don’t think that it’s a good idea for us to see too much of each other. It’s nothing personal. I just have a lot of stuff going on in my life and I don’t think that someone like you would be able to understand.”

Mack looked downcast, and Saber sighed heavily.

“Like I said, man, it’s nothing you did. I’m just a really fucking busy guy. All right?”

  Mack shrugged, nodding.

“Are we good?” Saber asked, his voice teasing but his blue eyes serious

And suddenly, Mack realized that he wasn’t good. In fact, he had been thinking about Saber for days now. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have been there. He’d had several one-night stands in his past, and it had been easy for him to put them behind him. But for some reason, this man was impossible for him to get over. He had been dreaming of their night together over and over again, and his body had been begging for a little bit more of whatever it was that Saber had dished out to him the first time.

“It took balls coming in here like that,” Saber said at last. “And whether I’m a busy fucking guy or not, I have my needs. I had a great time with you. And I’ve been thinking about you. It’s just never going to be anything more than this. You okay with that?”

Mack nodded, feeling slightly comforted by the fact that Saber had been feeling the same way. Still, he felt unhappy and would have done just about anything to be back in Saber’s arms again.

“All right. I have something to show you,” Saber said, cocking his head to the side in the direction that he wanted Mack to follow. “Come on.”

Mack followed Saber to his motorcycle.

“Get on the back,” Saber said, throwing a helmet heavily into Mack’s stomach. Mack caught it and looked up at Saber. “And hold on tight.”

  Chapter 9

Mack obeyed, gripping onto Saber’s strong torso tightly as he revved the engine and took off with a jerk. He could feel the eyes from the MC following them, and waved. He realized too late that this was a taunt, but he would have to worry about that later.

They rode in silence for a while, and the nearness of Saber’s body began to intoxicate him. His vest smelled the same as his house did, strongly of cedar wood, and his golden hair flew backward as they rode, sometimes tickling Mack’s nostrils. He caught a whiff of Saber’s shampoo and wondered whether or not it was creepy of him to crave more of it; to smell whatever he could that meant he was close to this dazzling man.

Finally, the motorcycle came to a stop and they hopped off. Mack tugged the helmet off of his head and realized they were overlooking a beautiful canyon. It was almost as beautiful as the Grand Canyon, and yet it was deserted.

“The tourists haven’t gotten to this one yet, I figured I should show it to you before they do. Maybe it’ll help you find yourself or whatever,” Saber said with a grin.

“This is amazing,” Mack said softly.

“It isn’t bad,” Saber said with a short laugh.

Mack became overwhelmed by the view and stared into the depths of the canyon. The red walls breaking down into it reminded him of the desert and he sighed softly.

“Actually, I think that it already has,” Mack said thoughtfully.

“Oh yeah? How’s that?” Saber asked.<
br />
“It reminded me that I’ve always wanted to live in the desert. I wanted that long before I ever wanted to live in LA. It was something that I was pretty determined about until I turned maybe thirteen. I guess I was pretty interested in being a cowboy or something. Living on a ranch and making my own way. It’s a silly dream. I was from the suburbs. I would never know how to take care of a ranch like that. But maybe it’s a step forward.”

Mack gazed into the distance, considering the feasibility of his childhood dream. He was surprised to feel Saber wrapping his strong arms around him from behind and squeezing him gently into his broad chest.

“What are you thinking about?” Saber asked Mack.

“Maybe my life would’ve been different if I would’ve just gone to the desert.”

“Or maybe it would have been the same, and you would have found yourself regretting other types of decisions. At least this way, you were able to find out whether or not LA was right for you. You followed your dream, you made it happen, and then you changed your mind. There’s nothing wrong with that. Our lives take strange turns all the time.”

“I guess so,” Mack said, closing his eyes as Saber began to stroke him up and down the torso.

He had forgotten what it was like to be lost in somebody so completely. It hadn’t happened since his first relationship, and even that was nothing compared to this. Now that he was older and more experienced, and he knew exactly what he wanted, it made everything even more intense. Especially knowing that Saber had been able to deliver beyond Mack’s expectations.

“Now what are you thinking?” Saber asked with a grin, allowing his hands to linger on the outside of Mack’s thigh, where his shaft was beginning to harden under the suggestive pressure of Saber’s hands.

“The same thing that I have been thinking for the past three days,” Mack said, sighing out into the openness of the canyon. “How much I want you again.”
