I had my bow and quiver on my back, the necklace around my throat, my sea-glass sword at my hip, and the pink stone knife in my hands. Above me, the sun shone down and cast a glow on the calm, blue ocean.
And there, in the distance, was our destination. A large, bright green island full of the unknown.
“Here we go,” Mira said next to me and finally broke the silence.
“Off to save the world,” I replied, and we shared an excited smile as we both watched our majestic destination approach.
