Adrian cocked his head. “You sure?” And even though he needed reassurance, there was a hint of laughter in his voice as well.

In way of answer, I lifted his ring between us. The candlelight glistening off the thick beaten-copper band bordered by smooth rose gold. “This is my promise to you, Adrian Rivera—the only running I will do, for the rest of my life, will be to you. Because in your love, that’s all I have to be, just Harrison. You lay no other expectation upon me. In loving you, I’ve found my freedom.” I slid the ring on his finger and lifted it to my lips and kissed. “We grow things, you and I. You focus on things that nourish the body, while I focus on things that nourish the soul. But no matter what comes our way, my first priority will be to grow us. That our roots are entwined with each other, so that we can grow, flourish, and build a love that will continue to blossom our entire lives.”

At such a commitment, at such a promise, even I had to take just a heartbeat, make sure there wasn’t a shot of terror or a flicker of fear. There wasn’t, and I looked in his eyes again, and let out a long breath. “I love you.”

As he mouthed the words back, a tear glistened in his adoring eyes, then made its way down his cheek.

Sapphire made the announcement of us being married and gave permission for us to kiss, but she was a little too late. I wrapped my arms around Adrian’s neck, pulled him to me as his hands slid behind my back, and we kissed.

After a few moments, with the cheers and claps of the ones we loved around us, we separated and searched each other’s eyes. And finding all we needed, we breathed. Then we kissed again.

  About the Author

Rosalind Abel grew up tending chickens alongside her sweet and faithful Chow, Lord Elgin. While her fantasy of writing novels was born during her teen years, she never would have dreamed she’d one day publish steamy romances about gorgeous men. However, sometimes life turns out better than planned.

In between crafting scorching sex scenes and helping her men find their soul mates, Rosalind enjoys cooking, collecting toys, and making the best damn scrapbooks in the world (this claim hasn’t been proven, but she’s willing to put good money on it).

She adores MM Romance, the power it has to sweep the reader away into worlds filled with passion, steam, and love. Rosalind also enjoys her collection of plot bunnies and welcomes new fuzzy ones into her home all the time, so feel free to send any adorable ones her way.

  Author Note

  Dear Reader:

Aren’t you glad your love story wasn’t broadcast to the world? Lord knows I am! But I’m sure glad Adrian was there to help turn Harrison’s world around, or at least was part of helping Harrison turn it for himself!

On our next visit to Lavender Shores, we’re looking outside of the founding families for a moment as Jasper finds his soulmate. It won’t come easily for him, but I promise, it will come. Look for it in May/June 2018.

Thank you so much for reading The Glasshouse. If you were enjoyed your journey into Adrian and Harrison’s love story, I would greatly appreciate a review on Amazon and Goodreads. Please drop me a note on Facebook or on my website (RosalindAbel.com) whenever you like. I’d love to hear from you. Also for fun, hop on over to LavenderShores.com to have a behind the scenes peek at what the town looks like, read its rich history, and get to know the characters just a little better.

Thank you for loving my men!

  Much love, Rosalind
