The Ambassador and Me: an unlikely love story (The Ambassador Trilogy Book 1)
Page 10
“No talking, Ambassador. I’m in control. I say when we stop and I don’t plan on stopping.” He gripped the back of the kitchen island with one hand as he kept the other hand on my head, fisting my hair.
“Isabella, it feels so good.” I loved hearing that and it made me want him more. Knowing I pleased him excited me beyond belief.
I took all of him into my mouth and sucked, hollowing my cheeks. He pushed inside and hit the back of my throat. His moaning told me he enjoyed what I was doing as I grabbed on to his legs.
“Oh God, Isabella! I’m going to explode!”
His cock grew larger and I sucked him harder and deeper. He grabbed on to me tighter as his hot cum forcefully burst into my mouth. He kept coming and I kept swallowing. I was on fire and wanted to fuck his brains out once I tasted him. I broke one of my rules being with him and not using a condom. I couldn’t help myself and I knew the Ambassador was clean. My mouth ached taking in his girth, but the knowledge of his pleasure replaced the hurt.
He pulled me up and I could barely stand. Weak from wanting him and not eating, my head was in a fog. He lifted me up and set me on the edge of the island.
He looked into my eyes and something between us was different. Something stirred deeper than an hour ago. The bright lights of the kitchen overhead illuminated my mist-covered skin as I spread my legs for Fabrice. My robe opened and hung from my shoulders.
His thumbs opened me up and I knew I was slick for him. He licked his lips and bent down to let his mouth meet my cunt. He messaged it with his tongue. I reached up and clenched my own breasts, sore and heavy from arousal. The pleasure of his touch went through me fast. I was under his spell once again. Now that I had experienced him, there was no way I could be without him. My body rode the wave of utter bliss as Fabrice's attention focused on pleasuring me. I moaned in pure ecstasy as my thighs shook and squeezed his head.
“Fabrice.” I yelled out as I came hard. He was relentless and would not stop leisurely licking my aching cunt. I had to pull his head up to me.
“You didn’t have to do that. It was your turn.”
“I’m not keeping a tally. My pleasure is watching and learning what makes you come. Tonight I wanted to discover what turns you on.” I kissed him and tasted me on his mouth. His lips were warm and wet from being inside me.
“I think you know now.” I could barely move let alone speak.
“We started discovering what turns you on. I want to know more and I want to try more.” Try more? Dear God.
After we filled ourselves with pasta and broccoli, bread and cheese, I became increasingly tired.
“Will you stay with me tonight?” he asked, noticing the exhaustion in my face.
“I can’t. I’m going home.” I smiled. I made it a rule to not stay with someone overnight until I knew them better. It was too personal to me. I liked my bed and my space. Snuggling up to him in his gigantic bed all night did sound appealing, that was one rule I didn’t want to break.
“I’m pretty worn out myself. You have to be at the restaurant tomorrow to work?’
“Yes, tomorrow is a big work day for all of us.”
“You are close to your family. You are lucky to have such closeness.”
I looked down. I didn’t want to go into the fact that our family was not what it seemed on the outside. Everyone thought we were the perfect family, and I didn’t have the energy to go into it. Our family was almost broken apart. I have not talked about it to anyone. I wanted to keep it that way.
“Well, sometimes it looks better than it is.”
I ate one last piece of cheese and took one last sip of wine before Fabrice offered to take me home. I agreed and he drove me to my condo. He wanted to walk me inside but it wasn’t necessary. I knew if he walked me in he wouldn’t be walking out. I had to take it easy. I kissed him goodbye, took a shower, and slept for what seemed like five minutes when my alarm woke me.
Chapter 9
“I don’t want to date her. I want to date her sister. Her sister is fucking hot,” said Danny.
I walked into the usual conversation between my brothers. Both were at the bar stocking it for the crowd anticipated that night. Election season meant the restaurant was the most sought after venue as senators, congressmen, and governors wanted their parties hosted at our place. Our extensive banquet hall my parents added on five years ago soon became the main attraction for big festivities. I slept for a couple of hours and went to the restaurant to make raviolis early in the morning. I prefer to work alone and can get a lot more done. Afterward, all I wanted was to crawl into bed and sleep. I tried to sneak out before they noticed. I wasn’t fast enough.
“Hey, Izzy. You look like shit.” Danny was drying glasses and putting them up.
“Fuck you,” I said, after I looked for my mom. I wasn’t up for her riding my case about my mouth. I did look like shit. The soreness of my wrists and ankles reminded me of Fabrice. Thankfully, there were no marks. He knew what he was doing. I sat on the bar stool and Marco poured me an espresso.
“Where’s Mom and Dad?” I asked sipping my much-needed drink.
“Out back. Dad's freaking out over tonight’s party. You know how he gets when these parties get going during election season.”
I rolled my eyes. My dad didn’t handle the stress well. It seemed the older he became the harder it was for him to handle anything. Ever since the incident we weren’t allowed to bring up, he seemed to be unhinged at the slightest thing. Thank God my mom had her head about her and could take over when my dad was unable.
“Hungry?” Danny asked me. I had made what seemed like a hundred pounds of ravioli, and the thought of food made me sick.
“No, I’m going home to get some rest and then be back here tonight to help with the party.”
“You better be. Dad is expecting all hands on deck tonight.”
“Like I need told. This happens every year.”
“Shit, why are you so pissed off this morning? Did you go out last night?”
I didn’t realize how grumpy I acted or why. I should have been on top of the world ecstatic. I was with the man I wanted. I sucked off the most beautiful man in Washington and succumbed to his skill of getting a woman off without having sex with her five times.
That might have been the problem. It was a little unsettling thinking there was so much sex happening yet there wasn't. Was he some sort of weirdo? How could this man so perfect be so strange sexually? I drank my espresso quickly.
“I didn’t go out. I don’t know what’s wrong with me. Sexually frustrated maybe.”
“Please, Izzy. Don’t say that. I can’t have that image in my head.”
“Deal with it. I’m just like one of those twits you were talking about. We all need sex, Danny.”
He threw up his hands and walked back into the kitchen with Marco. I knew how to get rid of them quick so I could enjoy my coffee in peace.
After an eight-hour shift preparing food, I ran home, showered and dressed for the party. I had hoped to get a nap before I went, but there was not enough time. I ran back to the restaurant, worked the campaign party and didn’t get home until midnight. I was exhausted beyond belief. So exhausted I didn’t see a strange car parked outside my apartment when I came in. When I left for work the next morning it was still there and, through the blacked out windows, I couldn’t make out who it might be. I didn’t know if I should call the police, let it go, or call my brothers. I decided to not be late for work and forget it. I called Avery, who had stayed at Cherise's house, to tell her.
“Hey, Babe,” she answered half-asleep.
“Ave, some strange car was out front last night and it is still parked outside. I left for work and wanted to tell you. It’s an older Cadillac. I want you to lock the door. I know how you don’t like to lock it.
“I bet it's Anthony. You know, I thought I saw him walking around the neighborhood last week and didn’t remember to tell you. This hasn’t happened since he came back in town. He’s really cree
py; if it keeps up, we need to call the police.” asked Avery.
If it was Anthony, my dad had not scared him enough the other day. He pulled stunts like this before when I first broke up with him. A terrifying chill went through my body when I thought about him and the night I declined his proposal.
I didn’t argue with her. She was right.
I assured her that we would both go and report it that week if it was him and headed to Starbucks for an espresso. It was going to be a long day. The aroma of the coffee shop alone put me in a blissful mood. I took a long delicious breath and stood in line with everyone else.
I made my way to my office without running into Fabrice. I was more than disappointed when the elevator was empty.
The receptionist smiled from ear to ear when I arrived for the day. Marla didn’t smile, so to see her like that was quite special. Maybe she'd had a good weekend.
I noticed a huge bouquet of flowers on her desk and when I approached, she jumped up.
“Isabella, these came for you this morning.” She handed me the white card and I eagerly opened it. I thought it would be from Fabrice. I mean why not after the night we'd had. The card shocked me.
You are always mine, not the French bastards. I will love you till I die.
The room started spinning and I grabbed on to the desk to keep from passing out. I slipped the card in my purse, but without a signature how could I prove he sent it?
“Isabella, those are beautiful. You made someone happy,” said Marla.
I didn’t want them. I didn’t want them near me.
“You know what, Marla? You take them. Apparently the person that sent these didn’t know I was allergic to them. I will be sneezing and the Attaché will be pissed. They will brighten up the office
“Are you sure, Isabella? They are too beautiful. You don’t act excited.”
“I’m definitely sure.” I grabbed my coffee, walked away.
This confirmed my worst fear: That car in front of my house was him. This was getting serious and it was time to let someone know. If not for me, for my roommate, and my family.
Making my way to my desk, I had a whole day’s work ahead of me. General Gerard had to be at three meetings, and I needed to prepare him. I had put in two hours when he arrived in high spirits. He was giddy and that was not like him. Maybe he got lucky over the weekend? I tried to dismiss that thought.
“How are you, Isabella?” he smiled at me and I actually saw his teeth.
“I’m good,” I lied. The last place I wanted to be was at work. I had so much work to do and my mind was not in it. I was exhausted and upset over the flowers. I glanced at my phone to see what time it was.
“Glad to hear that. Is everything ready for me today?”
“Yes, everything is ready and when you get settled I will come in and go over it with you.” I forced a smile. As he did every day, he didn’t answer me. I knew by now that meant “yes”.
I ran down to get more coffee in the cafeteria before he called me in. I didn’t feel comfortable walking into Fabrice's office and drinking his coffee, especially now. I might not get out of there. But while I was stirring in the cream, Fabrice walked by the cafeteria noticing I was there.
His hands were in his pockets as he smiled at me. He was beautiful. He looked naughty and refreshed. His hair gelled back, his suit black and his tie a sapphire blue matched his eyes. He came up behind me and, since no one else was in the cafeteria, he whispered.
“I would give anything to put you on the counter and bury my face in your cunt right now.”
I almost dropped my coffee. My body reacted to the nearness of him. I knew this would be odd once we slept together. How could it not be? Before I could look at him or answer, he was talking again.
“Who sent you flowers?” he asked.
“My ex-boyfriend. It’s nothing. He’s not over me yet, obviously.” Fabrice didn’t need to know the details of Anthony yet.
“He better get over you quick. If I need to talk to him, say the word. Look at me.” I was so afraid someone would walk in and see us talking. I kept looking around to see if anyone was close to the door.
I looked at him. His dominance stirred something inside me. My need for him became insane. He licked his lips, winked, and walked out. My head and clit couldn’t take much more and it was not even noon.
Around two o’clock we received emails that an emergency meeting was being called in Fabrice's office. Paris had received a terrorist threat. It was nothing credible, but the U.S. had picked up chatter. This chatter had everyone concerned. I rushed into the meeting along with the General Gerard, carrying and dropping papers all over. For whatever reason, maybe it’s the uniform, he feels he is to “arrive” and I have to be his pack mule. He pissed me off with his arrogance. His niceness from earlier wore off once his day began and he had sat through three other meetings.
This meeting was a bit of a surprise. We were informed all of us were leaving for Paris in two days, and we had to report to the airport at noon. No need to come into work the next day, just show up at the airport and make sure we knew we would be staying for two to three days. Christ, they were serious when they said we would be going to Paris at a moment’s notice. I didn’t think it would be this soon. I had to make sure my passport was where I thought it was.
I looked at Fabrice. Elizabeth sat next to him giggling like a twelve year-old. If she knew what he had done to me she wouldn’t be smirking as she was. I kept my head down as much as possible, trying to concentrate on the work, though Fabrice was sitting across from me. I sucked his cock in his kitchen and now were discussing ISIS in a meeting with generals and ambassadors and planning to travel to France. I caught his eye in between a short break and he winked at me. I smiled back as my cheeks became hot and I was afraid Elizabeth saw the connection between us.
During a five minute break, my phone vibrated and I thought it was Avery texting me. There are signs everywhere in the embassy that warn against using your cell phone. I still kept mine on and apparently the Ambassador did as well. I looked at my phone and it was Fabrice. My face instantly heated up as I read.
I want to taste you so bad right now. Are you wearing panties?
I’m commando. Clear the room. Go 2 lunch with me after
I have to be at another meeting. Can I come over tonight?
9?
Perfect
I finished my day anticipating Fabrice coming over that evening and worrying about what I would take on my trip. I rode the train to the market and took my time finding the ingredients for our dinner. I bought a few items for traveling and I noticed Avery had texted me several times to call her, but I ignored it. I would see her soon and she usually texted me for something stupid. When I walked down the driveway to our condo, I forgot about the car sitting out front earlier that morning; I remembered when I noticed the car was not there. Once I walked inside, I found Avery franticly pacing the kitchen.
“Why the fuck didn’t you answer me, Izz?! I have texted you a hundred times telling you to call me.”
Suddenly a pain ripped inside my gut. The one time I ignored her, it was important. She wouldn’t have ignored me. How could I have been so selfish?
“I’m sorry. I was in meetings all day. What’s wrong?”
“Anthony tried to break in here! That car out front was him. I was taking a shower and I heard him try to use his key to get in. When that didn’t work he tried the windows. I wanted to call the police but I didn’t know what to do without talking to you. I saw him. He was right outside the door and he looked crazy.”
“Are you sure he was trying to break in?”
“Come on, Izz. He saw you leave and didn’t see my car. He had no idea you had the locks changed. When his key didn’t fit, he started yelling and then he tried to get in through the window. This is becoming serious now.”
“Christ, I don’t need this right now. Why can’t he leave me alone? He somehow found out where I work. He sent me flowers today and look
at this card that was on them.” I fished in my purse for the white index card attached to my morning surprise. Avery’s eyes grew huge as she read it.
“He’s not going to leave you alone, ever. He followed you and knew you were with Fabrice. I hate that this is happening to you, but I’m afraid of what he might do next. I mean come on. Look what he already did to you.”
“Let’s not bring it up.” I tried to block that horrendous night out of my mind.
I poured a glass of wine, flopped on the couch, and tried to collect my thoughts.
“It’s not safe staying here right now, Izz. I’m going to Cherise’s for the rest of the week. I don’t like it because it’s too much closeness. My ass is going to be torn up by Monday. You know I think it’s serious if I spend a night away from here. Please, please tell someone. If not the police, tell your brothers. Didn’t they scare the shit out of him before?”
I sat there and shook my head. Now Fabrice and Paris was all that was on my mind. I could have cared less about Anthony and his bullshit. He was all talk most of the time. I did, however, not like the idea of Avery feeling scared and running from her home.
“I will tell Danny tomorrow. I’m going to the restaurant. I have to fly to France for the rest of the week. It’s a spur of the moment, hush-hush meeting about something urgent. We all have to go. Since I won’t be here, it probably is best you stay somewhere. He isn’t going to do anything to us. He wants to scare me. I thought Danny and my dad scared him when he showed up at our house last week. I guess not. Hell, my dad took him outside and if that didn’t do it then something is wrong.”
“Tell them again. I will be back Sunday night. When will you be back?” Avery walked into her room, and I stood up and followed her.
“I don’t know. We’re leaving Wednesday and they said two days, so I’m assuming Friday or Saturday.”
“You should stay with someone tonight and tomorrow.”
“I’ll be fine. I’m going to talk to my brothers tomorrow.”
“Well, what are you going to do tonight?” Avery threw things in her Hermes bag.
