A note from the author…
Writing a book is a lot like raising a child. First they’re born, then they begin to grow. And grow. And grow. The same with a book.
Along the way, if you’re very, very lucky, there are a lot of helping hands. I would like to thank a few who helped with my first ex-Navy SEAL book.
Laura Kelly was my editor through nine books before she retired. I’ll be forever grateful for her guidance. My new editor, ELF, is wonderful. The Wild Rose Press has a stable of amazing editors. A big thanks to the two I have been blessed with.
My critique group was amazing.
D’Anne pointed me to a local veterinarian who sent me critical information relating to Thor’s eye problem. Thanks go to Elicia Hogan, DVM, for your expertise.
Ann and Diana, as usual, kept me going in the right direction with the additions they suggested.
John Semetko gave me invaluable information on military dogs and their training. All errors are mine.
A big thank you goes to my husband, who never complained about ten-minute meals. What a relief.
I hope you all enjoyed this book and are (as I am) looking forward to the next. I’ve had a lot of fun finding each of these gorgeous SEALs the right woman. Hope you like my choices. They did.
