She kicked and bit at any part of Steve she could reach and used her weight to pin him beneath her. She wouldn’t be able to hold him for long. He may be average in all things, but he was still stronger than her.

“Stupid bitch,” he swore at her. “I’m going to shoot your fat ass.”

“Kate, Sarah,” she yelled. “Run and get help.”

Holly let out an oomph, when Steve’s knee connected with her stomach. The gun wavered in front of her face, and she hoped he didn’t pull the trigger before Kate and Sarah made it to safety.

“Move out of the way, Holly,” Kate said. “I can’t get a clear shot. What about you, Sarah?”

“Nope,” Sarah replied. “Holly, get off him.”

Holly struggled to hold him down, all the while screaming at Kate and Sarah to leave. Why weren’t they going? They needed to leave?

“You are all dead,” Steve yelled, pulling the trigger on the gun. Holly felt the bullet whiz past her head, and then concrete dust fell from the roof.

That was too close, and Holly was afraid the next shot would take her out.

“Get help,” she cried. “What are you waiting for?”

“We are helping,” Kate replied. “You are in the damned way.”

Holly’s strength was waning and she finally lost her hold on Steve. He rolled them over until Holly was beneath him, and he used the back of his fist to punch her across the side of the head.

The blow knocked her senseless, and dizziness assaulted her. She felt blood trickle down her face and into her hair, as she put her hands up in defense against another blow.

Holly opened her eyes and looked up at the barrel of the gun. It was pointed straight into her face, and Holly knew her time was up. She had lost. She had tried to save her friends, but she had failed.

The gun going off was loud to her ears, and Holly screamed waiting for the pain that never came.

“Oh god no, please,” she cried.

Steve bellowed above her, dropping the gun, which fell to the floor with a loud thud. He rolled off her and lay on his side, holding his shoulder. Blood poured from the wound, and it took Holly a few seconds to realize that he had been the one to get shot.

Holly scrambled to her feet and kicked the fallen gun away. Sarah and Kate stood side-by-side, matching guns in their hands, both still pointed at Steve where he rolled around the ground crying.

“Shit,” Holly said. “I told you to go and get help. Are you both crazy?”

“Why me?” Sarah asked. “Why when the bad shit goes down, am I always involved?”

“Just lucky, I guess,” Holly replied sarcastically.

“That’s not funny,” Sarah replied. Her hand was starting to shake, and she looked like she was about to cry.

“Yes, it is,” Kate said. “Living in this town is so much fun. Nothing like this ever happened back home.”

“That’s cause you weren’t there the first time,” Sarah said solemnly. Holly thought Sarah must have been referring to when she saw her best friend murdered and the whole reason she was sent to Merricks in the first place.

“I’m sorry, Sarah,” Kate said. “That was insensitive of me.”

“Don’t sweat it,” Sarah replied. “I knew you meant no harm.”

“You could have let me shoot this one,” Kate said as they stared down at Steve withering on the floor.

“At least you didn’t kill him,” Holly added, wiping blood from her lip where he had punched her.

Holly had had enough of the bunker and decided it was time to leave. It was cold and she was thought she might be going into shock. Why else would they be standing around making wisecracks?

“You two Calamity Janes stay here and watch Steve. I’ll go and get help,” Holly said. She turned away and started to walk toward the door as Kate and Sarah went back to swapping barbs.

  * * * *

Jarrod and Chase walked past the church and behind the fire station. There was still no sign of Holly and the sisters, and Jarrod was starting to panic.

“Let’s circle back past the town hall and meet up with Tank at the school. Maybe he has had some luck,” Jarrod said to his brother.

“Yeah, okay,” Chase replied. “It’s like they have just vanished. Where the fuck are they?” Jarrod could tell his brother was frustrated. His usually cool and calm domineer that Chase used in his high stress job, was gone.

“I’m worried, too,” Jarrod told him. “But now is not the time to lose it. We have to be strong for Holly.”

“Why? Haven’t I told you, I could look after myself?”

Jarrod and Case spun around, their faces frozen in shock. Holly stood behind then, bloody and bruised but alive. Jarrod rushed forward and engulfed her in his arms, frantically kissing her face.

When he finally felt strong enough to release her, Chase grabbed her up and proceeded to do the same. Holly tried to pull away, but Chase didn’t let her go, but tucked her under his arm instead.

“My god, baby,” Chase said. “We were so worried. What the hell happened?”

“It was Steve,” Holly told them. “He had a gun and took us to a bomb shelter behind the town hall. He was going to kill me. He thought that I had sent men to warn his girlfriend.” Shit! It was his entire fault. If he hadn’t had Wolf contact those men, Steve wouldn’t have come after Holly. She could have been killed.

“Where is he now?” Jarrod asked. He wanted to teach that son of a bitch a lesson he wouldn’t soon forget.

“Kate and Sarah are watching over him,” she replied. “Sarah shot him in the arm. He might need an ambulance.”

“Geez, Holly,” Chase said. “You might have wanted to get to that part first.” Holly was surprising them in more ways than one. She was so cool and collected about the whole thing. Jarrod thought she would be hysterical.

“Show us where it is,” Jarrod said. “We will call Blake on the way.”

Chase and Jarrod followed Holly behind the town hall and stopped at an old metal trap door. He had never seen it before, and he had lived in Merricks his entire life.

They descended the stairs and walked through a heavy door into the cavernous room. Jarrod was shocked. It was big enough to fit the whole damned town.

Walking over to Kate and Sarah, who still had their guns pointed at Steve, Jarrod reached down and plucked the injured man from the floor.

He cried out in pain, grabbing at his injured shoulder. Jarrod looked him over and wasn’t impressed. He was average height and build and had scruffy hair and a three-day growth. Blood covered his clothes from the wound in his shoulder, and he whimpered in pain.

Jarrod couldn’t believe that this was the man that had left Holly with such huge self-esteem and trust issues. What she ever saw in the man was beyond him. The man was a toad at best.

“Are you ladies all right?” Jarrod asked Kate and Sarah.

“Just peachy,” Kate replied surely. The women pocketed their guns, and Jarrod had to mentally shake his head at them.

“She’s just pissed cause she didn’t get to shoot anyone,” Holly said. Yep, Jarrod and Chase were definitely going to have to watch Holly around these two. He didn’t want Holly running around town with a gun. What were their men thinking?

“What is wrong with you people?” Steve said. “I need an ambulance. I’m bleeding to death.”

“That’s more than you deserve, asshole,” Jarrod said and shook him, causing him to cry out in pain.

It wasn’t long before the cavalry arrived, and the bunker filled up with very large and very angry men. Tank was the first to arrive, and once he noticed the women were safe and unharmed, he went to explore the surplus on the shelves.

Wolf, Hawk, Trace, and Cole Jackson arrived at the same time and stood around with their arms crossed and angry looks on their faces. They, too, didn’t know about the shelter and were surprised at its sheer size.

When Blake, James, and the three Carter men finally arrived, Sarah lost her cool and cried into James’s arms.
Kate went over to her men, and each of them took turns in assuring themselves that she was safe and unharmed.

James held Sarah in the circle of his arms as Blake approached them. Jarrod saw Steve turn pale, and he wondered if it was because of Blake’s size or because of all the blood loss.

“That woman shot me,” Steve said. “I want her arrested.”

“Are you really going to try that,” Blake asked, before turning to Sarah. “This is becoming a habit, baby.”

Sarah smiled at Blake, and lifted her shoulders in a shrug.

“Let’s get you to a hospital then,” Blake said and carted Steve off toward a door. “You will need to bring Holly down to the station to make a statement. Steve is going to jail for many years for this stunt.”

Jarrod was surprised at how well Blake was behaving. He and James were very overprotective of Sarah, and he thought Blake would have been more upset.

Jarrod smiled when Blake and Steve were out of sight, and he heard Steve cry out in pain. So he wasn’t taking it that well then.

“He fell over,” Blake yelled back through the corridor.

Jarrod walked over to Holly and Chase.

“Let’s go home,” he said, taking Holly’s hand in his and walking her from the bomb shelter. Chase walked behind them, and when they were out into the fresh air, he took Holly’s other hand in his.

“Can we stop for a minute?” Holly said. “I wanted to say something.” Jarrod stopped and turned to face her. She sounded very serious and Jarrod wasn’t sure he wanted to hear what she had to say.

“When Steve had the gun to my head and I thought he was going to shoot me, one thing went through my mind,” she said.

“What was that, baby?” Chase asked. Holly looked off into the distance as though trying to find the right words.

“I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to tell you that being with you has taught me so much. You make me feel so special and you have let me see that I’m more than the clumsy loser that I was led to believe. You made me see that I’m beautiful and smart and funny and well, I wanted to say that, same to you.”

“Same to us, what, sweetheart?” Jarrod asked.

“I think you are two of the most amazing men, I have ever met. You are strong and stubborn and damned good-looking and hot in the bedroom. I love you both, so much.” As Holly spoke, tears flooded her eyes and Jarrod pulled her into his arms. Chase closed in from behind until she was sandwiched between them.

“I love you, too, baby,” Chase said. “You are special and sexy and I can’t wait until I have you naked and under me. You fill my life with hope and happiness and I love you.” Chase ran kisses down her neck, as Jarrod looked down into her deep hazel eyes.

“I also love you, sweetheart,” Jarrod told her. “Too much for words. You are everything I ever wanted in a woman and a submissive and much, much more. I don’t care if you drop and break every damned plate, glass, or vasey thing in our house. I will always love you and want you in my life.”

Jarrod leant down and kissed Holly, placing all his feelings into that one kiss. He made love to her mouth like he wanted to make love to her body, and when he finally lifted his head, she looked up at him dazed, with swollen lips.

“Let’s go home so I can make love to you properly,” he told her, grabbing her hand and pulling her along behind him.

“Um, Jarrod,” she said. “What about your parents?”

  Shit!

  Chapter Nineteen

Chase and Jarrod walked Holly into Silk Ties, each with a hand holding her elbows. The woman insisted on wearing high heels, and she was going to break her damned neck. Chase thought she looked fucking hot, and when she walked out of the bedroom they now shared in their newly built house, he had almost grabbed her and made love to her on the living room floor.

She was wearing a short black miniskirt, with a deep purple corset that barley held her large breasts and thigh-high fishnet stockings that ended bellow her skirt, showing a strip of bare skin.

She had carefully strolled into the living room tottering on those high shoes that had straps, which wrapped around her ankles, and Chase’s cock had gone rock hard in a nanosecond.

Heading over to the bar, Jarrod ordered them all a drink and Chase watched Holly as she looked around the club. It was the first time they had brought her here and he wanted her to like it, so they could bring her back.

Her eyes were big and he wouldn’t say shocked, more curious but unsure. He wanted to say that she’d get used to it, but he wanted the club to keep some mystery and wonder. It would make coming here a better experience for Holly.

“Let’s go and sit down,” Jarrod said, taking Holly’s elbow again and walking her over to the Dom’s lounge.

Chase sat down on one of the leather couches and pulled Holly into his lap. He loved the feel of her soft body as she cuddled against him.

Chase and Jarrod had felt blessed every day since that horrid day when Steve had taken her. Holly was a brave, strong woman, and he was so proud of her. His world had crumbled around him, and left him feeling helpless. He never wanted to feel that kind of fear again, even if that meant he had to wrap Holly in cotton wool and tie her to his bed.

When she had declared her love for him, he felt as if his life was finally complete. He already knew that she loved him. He just needed to hear her say it and say it back. Now they could move on with their life and their relationship.

Jarrod and Chase had every intention of asking Holly to marry them. They had everything planned out accordingly. The brothers had planned to take her out back onto the porch at sunset. The new house overlooked the cliff where they had first made love, and so it was already a special place to them all.

Chase felt Holly shiver in his arms and pulled her closer to the warmth of his body.

“Cold, baby,” he asked, whispering in her ear and sucking on her lobe.

“A little,” Holly replied. “I feel a little naked.” Chase chuckled at her. Compared to most people in the club, Holly was overdressed.

Chase used the time to look around the club, trying to see it through Holly’s eyes. Out here in the main part of the club, it didn’t look much different than your average bar. Except the people who were walking around half-naked and maybe the people all but making love on the dance floor.

“What do you think so far, baby?” Chase asked.

He looked over to the bar, which sat to the right of the entryway and was dotted with barstools. There were a couple of Doms with their subs kneeling at their feet while they talked, and the barman had his latest sub, a male with a bratty attitude, with his cuffed wrists hanging from a hook. Every so often the barman would walk over to him and pet him before resuming work.

“Different,” she replied finally. “A little tame, I guess.” Chase smiled at her answer. She hadn’t seen the other room yet.

He perused the large dance floor which took up most of the space in the middle of the room and then the large stage sat opposite the bar. Each corner had a lounge, and the one they sat in now was the Dom’s lounge and the subs were only welcome when with their Doms. They had the other lounge, where they could hang out whilst they waited for Doms to approach and ask them to play.

“It’s dark in that back corner,” Holly said. Chase couldn’t see who occupied the dark booth that lined the back wall next to the door that lead into the serious part of the club, it was too dark and on the other side of the room to the Dom’s lounge. Not that it mattered. He wasn’t really that interested. He only looked because Holly pointed it out.

“It’s time,” Jarrod said, standing. Chase helped Holly to her feet, and then they walked toward the back of the club to the heavy wooden door.

Jarrod pulled it open and Chase quickly ushered Holly through. The big door shut with a thud behind them, and the atmosphere completely changed.

The smell of sex hung heavy in the air and screams and moans of pain and pleasure could be heard resounding around the room. The lighting was
different and the music darker and more seductive.

“This way,” Jarrod told them. He was in Dom mode. He spoke very little, and when he did, his voice was deep and demanding.

Chase and Holly followed Jarrod’s retreating back as they walked farther and farther into the room. Chase watched Holly’s face as they walked past a woman strapped to a spanking bench. She had a ball gag in her mouth, and her Dom was taking a flogger to her naked ass. Holly looked turned on by what she was seeing and Chase was pleased.

Chase nodded a greeting to a Domme, as he and Holly weaved their way past a Saint Andrew’s cross. Her male sub was tied to the cross, his cock hard and red caged in a device meant to prolong orgasm. It just looked painful to Chase, but the moans of pleasure that came from the sub said otherwise.

They moved on and Chase noticed a new toy that had recently been added to the collection in the room. It looked like a rope spider web and hung on the wall. A female sub was cuffed and tied to the web, blindfolded, naked, and spread eagle a good couple of meters of the ground. Her Domme was at face-height with the sub’s open pussy and was using dildo to torture her helpless sub.

Chase was intrigued. He would have to talk to Jarrod about using the new toy. He had plenty of ideas that he would like to try out with Holly.

“Here we are,” Jarrod said. Finally they made it to their destination. The wooden table resembled an old torture rake where they tied the victim down and then turned the wheels on each end, pulling their legs and arms tighter and tighter until they stretched painfully.

Only this table was shorter. Once the sub’s arms were tied to the top, their legs and butt would hang over the end. Ropes were then lowered for the ankles. You turned the wheel, lifting the legs high into the air. It left the butt exposed and the sub’s genitals open.

Chase and Jarrod had decided on this piece of equipment because it wasn’t something they had in the playroom at home. The brothers wanted to use the time to show Holly something she hadn’t tried before.

They wanted to keep her off balance and excited at the possible experiences that they would provide. While they had a well-stocked playroom back at home, it could only fit so much bulky equipment.
