A group of reporters tried to follow Axel through the players' entrance, but they were turned away. I considered calling out to him. It had been a few days now since we'd been together. Maybe if we talked, we could sort things out. "Axel—!" I started to shout just as a group of women broke through the gate and ran up to him.

One of the women—a bleach blonde with fake breasts if I ever saw them—wrapped her arms around Axel and pulled him to her. One of his crutches fell to his side, and he almost toppled over onto her. She probably would have loved it if he had.

I could see her tongue running over his lips. It made my stomach churn. I stopped walking and stood watching. The guard I'd met at my first day on the job, Shannon, was gone. Two burly-looking men came running after the women instead. They pulled Axel free, handing him his fallen crutch, and started to usher the girls back out of the stadium.

"Aw!" whined a redhead. "Axel's our favorite player! We just wanna meet him."

"Hey, fellas," Axel called after the guards. "It's alright, let them go."

The guards looked at each other and shrugged, then let go of the women. There were four of them. They ran back to Axel, and each took a turn touching him. My stomach churned again as I watched the way Axel flirted with them. What kind of asshole gets hounded by reporters and a psycho ex-girlfriend but finds the time to make out with strange women?

"Axel! Axel!" the bleach blonde shouted, jumping up and down. She wasn't wearing a bra. "Can I have your autograph?"

"Sure, babe," Axel said. He pulled a marker from his coat pocket. I rolled my eyes. Of course he was prepared for signing autographs. The egomania on him must be astounding. "You got a picture or something?" Axel asked the blonde.

"No," she said, batting her fake lashes. "Just these." She ripped her shirt open and flashed her tits at Axel, whose eyes widened. You'd have thought he'd never seen a pair of breasts before. Though I had to admit, they were sort of magnificent. It wasn't every day that breasts this size revealed themselves to you.

Axel grinned and leaned forward, signing his name just above her nipples. Men were pigs, and the way Axel was leering at her proved he was the biggest pig of them all. A few more players showed up as Axel was making a fool out of himself. They stopped and grinned, egging him on.

"Don't just sign her tits, man," one of the players said, "grab hold of them things!" Axel took each of the blonde's breasts in his hands and squeezed them together. The blonde looked like she was about to orgasm.

"Oooh! Me next!" cried the redhead. She slid the bottom of her midriff shirt up over her breasts and pushed them toward him. "Sign right here!" she said, pointing to her right tit. I had to admit, these didn't look nearly as fake as the blonde's. If they were, then her plastic surgeon had done an amazing job.

There was a light brunette and a dark-haired vixen to go through next. Axel took turns signing each woman's chest before turning back toward the entrance. "Gotta go," he said. "Game's on."

"Wait!" the bleach blonde yelled. "One for the road!" She grabbed him one last time, kissing him hard.

I'd seen enough. My stomach was churning fast, and I didn't think I could keep my breakfast down any longer. I ran past Axel, brushing his arm as I pushed one of the tramps out of my way. He looked up when I went past, and his face went pink. Even if he was embarrassed for his behavior, it didn't matter. All that mattered right now was making it to the toilet before I spilled my breakfast all over the locker room.

The blonde tasted like dirt. It had been fun kissing her at first. After all, what red-blooded American male wouldn't want to kiss four knockouts like these chicks? But somewhere along the way, I'd started comparing each of them to Kaitlyn. The blonde's lips were too dry. The redhead's mouth was too sticky. I could smell the lipstick on the dark-haired girl, and it made me feel sick. I wanted to stop and tell the guards to escort them back out after all, but some of the other players were watching me now.

"Don't just sign her tits, man," Colby Montrose said, "grab hold of them things!" I did as the guys wanted, wishing I could just get out of here. The last thing I needed was a reporter seeing me treat these girls like a plaything.

"Gotta go!" I said. "Game's on!" That had always been my go-to excuse for anything whenever I wanted to get out of something. I was a football player. "Game's on!" was kind of our creed. Most people understood that.

The women cried out, and the blonde grabbed for me one last time. I tried to stop her, but it was hard enough keeping my balance. I'd have to remember to ask my doctor if I could get some sort of knee brace instead of these crutches.

The blonde's lips didn't taste any better than before, but it was just easier to let her get one last kiss in before taking off. I'd take a lot less crap from my teammates, and besides, maybe it would somehow get my mind off Kaitlyn.

Something struck my arm, and I looked up. Kaitlyn ran past me. One of her hands was on her stomach; her other hand was by her mouth. She looked pretty green. I let go of the girl I'd been kissing and ran after her.

The blonde yanked on my crutches, trying to stop me. She nearly succeeded in knocking them out from under me. Irritated, I said, "Hey, ladies, don't forget that football is a team sport." I turned toward Colby and the other guys, who were more than happy to take over for me with the girls.

I hobbled down the hall and was almost to the locker room when several reporters descended on me. "Goddammit!" I shouted. "I swear, we have the worst security at this stadium."

The reporters ran up to me, shoving microphones into my face and asking questions.

"Axel! Axel!" one man cried. "What do you think about the charges Taylor Murphy is leveling against you?"

"I didn't hit her," I said, then kicked myself. After I'd finally gotten ahold of my lawyer, he'd told me to keep my mouth shut. Don't answer questions. But keeping my mouth shut had never been my strong suit.

"So, you deny abusing your daughter?" another reporter hollered over the shouts of the others.

"What?" I asked. I felt the blood drain from my face. "What are you talking about?"

The reporters buzzed with excitement when they realized they knew something I didn't.

"A few hours ago, your ex-wife—"

  "Girlfriend," I snapped.

"Ex-girlfriend," the reporter corrected himself and continued without apology, "accused you of beating your daughter."

"That's insane!" I yelled, anger rising up in me. "If anything, Taylor was the abusive one. She put our daughter in the hospital when she was two."

"Taylor says it was you who did that," another reporter jumped in, seeing the reaction that I was having. "She says she just took the blame for it because she was afraid you'd hurt Riley more if she didn't."

"What!" I screamed. The fact that this reporter was using my four-year-old daughter's name as if he personally knew her infuriated me almost as much as Taylor's allegations. I knew I'd already said too much, that these reporters were just trying to goad me into saying even more so they could get a juicy story, but my head was spinning.

Riley's sweet face flashed before me. What would my parents think if they read this? What would Kaitlyn think?

It seemed odd to me that at a time like this I'd be thinking about Kaitlyn. The truth was I barely knew her. Whatever feelings I had for her now would probably pass. It was a physical attraction, that's all. It had to be. You can't fall for someone you don't even know.

Whoa. Who said anything about falling for her?

I pushed the voice out of my head and finally regained my senses enough to get away from the reporters. A fresh set of guards had arrived, and they busily pulled the reporters away from me. One of my crutches slipped out from under me as a reporter knocked against me. I fell to the ground with a heavy thud, and a million lights went off at once. My eyes didn't even have time to adjust from one bright burst before a new flash took its place.

I wanted to bury my head under my hands and wait it all out, but that was
the chicken shit thing to do. So instead, I pushed myself up once again and trotted toward the locker room—well, as best as anyone with two crutches can trot.

"Axel! Axel! Do you have any statements you'd like to make?"

I heard my lawyer's voice in the back of my head telling me to keep walking.

  "Yeah!" I shouted. "Fuck you!"

  Kaitlyn

I'm sick, I thought as I pulled my head out of the toilet. I hated being sick. Funny, I thought as I exited the stall. I'd been fine just a few days before. And I'd felt alright this morning when I woke up. Well, sort of, I reminded myself. I splashed some water on my face and rinsed my mouth out.

When I stepped out of the bathroom, I was shocked to see Axel sitting on a bench. His head was buried in his hands, just as I'd seen my father do a hundred times before whenever he was deep in thought. I looked around. We were in a narrow corridor off the side of the locker room, behind the hot and cold tubs. A wall separated us from the rest of the locker room. I could hear other players but couldn't see them. Most of them were probably up top practicing or just letting loose before the big game.

I hesitated, uncertain whether I should say anything or not. Finally, I decided to just sneak past him and act as if I hadn't seen him. The second I stepped on the floor, it creaked. Axel lifted his head.

  "Kaitlyn!" he cried.

"Er, hey," I said. It was the first time we'd spoken to each other since our tryst in the locker room.

"Are you alright? I saw you run past me before. You didn't look so good."

I searched Axel's face for any sign of sarcasm. "Were you... you weren't waiting for me, were you?"

He nodded. Tiny dimples grew in the corners of his cheeks as he smiled bashfully. I hadn't noticed them before.

"I'm fine," I said. And I was. Now that my breakfast was out of me, I felt like a whole new person.

"Kaitlyn, I'm sorry for the other day," Axel said.

My face hardened. "You mean when you decided to blame me for your ex-girlfriend being a nut job."

"Yes," he said. "That's exactly what I mean. I'm sorry. And I'd like to make it up to you, if you'll let me."

I studied his eyes. They hinted at something mischievous without giving anything away.

"What about your new girlfriends?" I asked.

"New girlfriends?" Axel exclaimed, looking surprised. "What—? Oh. Right." His face turned red, and he looked away from me, embarrassed. He shrugged. "What can I say? I'm an idiot. Would it make you feel better if you hit me?"

  I cocked my head. "Maybe."

Axel stood up and walked toward me.

"Go on," he said. "Take your best shot."

I watched him carefully for a minute to see if he was joking. Then my hand reached out and lightly slapped his cheek.

"That the best you got?" he teased.

I licked my finger then wiped it across his forehead. Axel started, then burst into laughter. "You're weird," he said.

I lifted my eyebrows. Desire burned through me. I couldn't get this close to Axel without wanting to touch him. "You said something about making things up to me. What exactly did you have in mind?"

Axel sat back on the bench and pulled me onto his lap. I couldn't resist the lure of his body. My shirt came off, and I felt the familiar longing for him pulse through me. I shivered as his lips brushed against my neck. His thick, pink tongue slid up and down my bare skin, tasting every inch of me. Axel reached his hand between my thighs and then worked his way up and into my pants.

His knee may have been injured, but his fingers were in perfect working order. He teased my clit with his thumb, rubbing it over me faster and faster as my breath increased. I sighed heavily and arched my back. Axel's eyes bore into me.

  "Lay back," he told me.

I did as instructed and laid my back against the bench. One leg dangled freely on either side of me. Axel turned so that he was straddling the bench. When he got his knee comfortable, he slid my pants down. I could still hear the other players in the next room. They were just on the other side of the wall. I knew I should stop this, but to tell the truth, it turned me on.

Axel moved between my legs. My pussy was already wet before he'd even touched me. His thick tongue slid over my petal pink vulva, lapping at me until I thought my head might explode. He kissed my inner and outer lips, tasting me like I was a new flavor of ice cream. My thighs tightened. My knees shook.

  "Fuck me," I moaned.

"Not yet," he purred. "I'm not done apologizing."

His thick pink tongue slid deep inside my hole. My pussy ached as he massaged me from the inside. His tongue was rough, but it felt good. It slid deeper into my cave, making me wetter than I'd ever been. He flicked his tongue against my clit, lapping at me like I was a saucer of milk.

"I can't take anymore," I moaned, trying not to be too loud but unable to stop myself. Knowing we could be discovered at any moment only made me want him more.

"That's what I wanted to hear," he said. He pushed his pants to his knees and pulled me up so that I was sitting in just the right way. He pushed closer to me until his erection was inches from my opening. I wrapped my legs around him. His cock slowly pressed against my hole, teasing me, before sliding deep inside.

My whole body shook. I rocked my hips against his, not wanting him to do all the work for fear he might hurt his knee. The harder I bounced, the wetter I got. I wrapped my hands around his neck, smelling his musky scent. His hips moved up, plunging his member deeper into me.

"Fuck me!" I whispered, still trying to keep my voice low. The harder he fucked me though, the harder it was for me to keep quiet. We moved together as one unit. His hips meeting mine, my hot, wet pussy bouncing harder onto his cock as he threw his head back.

  "Oh God!" he cried.

"Fuck me, Axel!" I moved my hips faster and harder against his. Axel's cock grew even bigger inside me. I wrapped my legs tighter around him. His breath was hot and sweet. His hands held me as my body began to shake. My head fell back. My eyes rolled back as my climax surged. Stars shot around me. Light filled my head. When Axel's hot, sweet cum filled me, I let out a long, loud scream that I was sure the other players could all hear. But fuck it. I didn't care what they thought. All I cared about was that man inside me.

I lay back, panting. I couldn't remember the last time I'd had such a good workout.

"So," Axel breathed. "Are we made up?"

"I don't know," I teased. "We might have to go two rounds before I can make up my mind."

  "Count me in."

  Axel

I couldn't believe how good Kaitlyn felt in my arms. Every time I got near her, I couldn't think straight. It was like my brain melted and turned to mush.

"So, are you feeling better now?" I asked her. She'd looked awfully sick earlier.

She nodded. "Yeah. I think you fucked the stomach flu right out of me." She blushed, then leaned in and kissed me. I could still feel her heat on my lips. I'd just had her, and already I wanted her again.

"How did I ever get along without you?" I asked. It slipped out before I could stop myself. I wasn't normally the type of person to get all mushy and gaga over some chick, but Kaitlyn was different.

She smiled and her cheeks grew a brighter shade of pink. "Well, I guess you got along by fucking the wrong women and playing tough games that got you injured. Clearly, you were looking for some sympathy from the opposite sex when you tore your ACL."

"It worked, didn't it?" I asked, grinning like a fool. Why couldn't I just act normal around her? I felt like a schoolboy with a crush.

We left the hallway and headed back to the main part of the locker room. I was glad none of the guys had caught me and Kaitlyn in the throes of passion, though truth be told, it wouldn't have surprised any of them if they had. Suddenly, a flash went off as a reporter and his photographer descended upon me.

  "Axel! Axel!" the reporter shouted.

  "Oh jeez," I murmured. "Seriously?
What good is having security here if they can't do their job?"

"Sorry," one of the guards shouted. He'd chased the reporter into the locker room. "He had his friend distract us while these two slipped by."

My teammates started laughing. I don't know what the hell was so funny about all this. This was all Taylor's fault. If only I'd listened to my head instead of my prick when I'd met her... but I'd been too enamored with her pussy at that time to listen to anything my brain might have said.

I rolled my eyes as even Coach stood by, grinning at me like this was some sort of comedy sketch. I realized then that if I went up to the field, I'd just face more reporters. Maybe it was better if I just hung out down here. Provided I could get this jerkoff reporter out of here first.

"Come on," I said to Kaitlyn, taking her hand and leading her back by the tubs. My crutches were becoming a real hindrance the more I had to outrun reporters.

"Wait! Axel!" the reporter screamed. He had dark hair and wild eyes. I could tell he was the type of person to do anything for a story. He shoved his hand into the guard's face and poked his eye. The guard cursed and let him go as his hand shot to his eyeball. Another guard was chasing the photographer around the room. It was like something out of a cartoon.

I desperately wanted to keep ahold of Kaitlyn's hand. She was the only thing keeping me centered right now. If not for the warmth of her skin over mine, I thought I might explode. But the faster I tried to get away from the reporter, the more I realized it was impossible to hold her hand and run with crutches.

"Forget the game," I finally told her. "Let's get out of here. We can go to my place."

Kaitlyn's eyes brightened. Her face grew a soft shade of pink. "Alright," she said. "But don't think this gets you out of your exercises."

I grinned at her. "You can work me as hard as you want when we're alone."
