Seducing the Billionaire's Wife

“Oh,” she cried as he massaged the perfect globes of her ass.

“Turn around for me, beautiful,” he said.

After a moment of hesitation, she did, and he peered up at her as she said, “Now what?”

He lifted her leg and put it on his shoulder, opening her to him. “Now you get to lean back and watch.”

Hannah’s toes curled as Drew’s head dipped. Her heart pounded, and her blood rushed through her veins. She sucked in a breath at his first touch. He lapped at her, and her legs started to shake. His large hands skimmed up her thighs and around her hips to cup her bottom, bringing her more fully against him.

  “Breathe, Hannah.”

She exhaled. “I’m trying.” But he made it impossible. He slid his tongue along her folds, dipped it inside, and made her cry out his name.

His rough stubble abraded her tender skin, but she didn’t care. All she could do was feel him, feel his lips, his tongue… his touch. He ate at her like a man starved, and she felt herself hurtling toward an orgasm so good that she didn’t bother trying to draw this out.

Or maybe she knew she couldn’t draw it out. Drew was that good.

Stars sparked behind her eyes, and she fell apart. She dug her fingers into his wet hair, seeking something substantial to ground her. Her body was flying. It was out of control.

Drew sucked on her clit, and she screamed.

No, her body was under his control.

Letting go her of her, Drew stood and took her mouth. She could taste herself on his tongue. His erection rubbed against her, so long and thick and perfect. She gently grabbed him there, stroking his skin and then adding liquid shower gel.

He let out a groan, encouraging her to continue. “Don’t stop,” he said, bracing his hands on either side of her. “Please.”

It was a heady feeling to have him at her mercy like this, while she stroked, fondled, and rubbed her thumb over the tip of him. “Kiss me,” she ordered, and he slammed his mouth against hers. She sucked his tongue inside, never stopping the rhythm of her hands on his body. He was close; she knew it. She wanted him to come. She wanted to—she tried to get on her knees, but he wouldn’t allow it.

“No. Kiss me,” he ordered. “I can’t remember the last time I’ve—” He nipped at her bottom lip. “You taste so sweet. Give me more.”

Unable to resist, she gave him what he wanted. What she wanted. It was sweet and erotic and more than she ever thought possible.

His body shuddered, hot spurts hitting her skin as he came. He wrenched his mouth away and dropped his head to her shoulder. “Hannah. That was…” he panted.

“I know. I felt the same way.” She started to rinse, but Drew wrapped his arms around her.

“Let me take care of you.” He grabbed the bottle of shower gel, poured some in his hands, and then began to soap down her body. Her nipples hardened.

“You keep that up and we’ll be in here for hours,” he said with a smirk.

“Unlimited hot water,” she replied. “And we haven’t gotten to the best part.”

He grimaced. “I don’t have protection with me. I didn’t plan on jumping you like this.”

She ran a hand through his hair. “If it makes you feel any better, I jumped you.”

Touching her between her thighs, he began to stroke her again. “Can you forgive me for being so unprepared?”

Gasping, tremors of pleasure rocked through her body. “I’ll let you make it up to me.”

  “My pleasure, sweetheart.”

A few orgasms later, they finally emerged from the outdoor shower. She always kept an extra set or two of towels outside and quickly grabbed a couple, handing one to Drew.

“I’ll hang our clothes up to dry after I wash them.”

“Thank you.” He smiled at her, making her heart flip in her chest. “We are doing this completely backwards. Or sideways. Unconventionally. I need to take you out on a proper date.”

Wrapping a towel around herself, she walked inside the house. Drew followed close behind. “I don’t feel like going out tonight. That would require dressing up, and I’d rather hang out here. Let’s get something to go instead. I’ll call Jack’s to place an order after I get dressed.”

  “You don’t want a date?”

Glancing at him over her shoulder, she enjoyed the look of shock on his face. She knew he didn’t shock easily. “Is that a problem?”

“No.” He ran a hand through his short, wet hair. “I should get my suitcase. I’m allowed to change, right?”

  “No suits,” she teased.

  “I have casual suits.”

“Then I guess you’ll have to go naked.” She let the towel drop and heard his sharp intake of breath. Slowly, she rummaged around her dresser drawers, pulling out a pair of lacy panties and a soft t-shirt, forgoing a bra.

“Is that what you’re wearing?” He came more fully into the room, his towel practically hanging on his lean hips.

“You don’t think this is appropriate to pick up take-out?”

A possessive look entered his dark eyes. “No wife of mine will ever been seen like that except by me.”

Thrills of pleasure ran through her at his words. She made to take off her shirt. “I can always wear less.”

“I can always put you over my knee,” he murmured.

Was he serious? “You can always try.”

  “Is that an invitation?”

“No, it’s warning.” Oh yeah, she was definitely out of her league with Drew. A hint of doubt tried to claw its way inside of her, but she refused to let it get a foothold.

He was her husband now, five-year limit or not, and no matter what, she would convince him that marriage was forever.

  Chapter Ten

  ‡

Never had Drew had this much fun with anyone. Hell, he didn’t think he’d ever been this relaxed in the past seven years. Maybe it was a combination of mutual satisfaction, great company, and good food.

Sitting on Hannah’s back deck, with the sun setting behind them, they ate take-out from Jack’s fine Italian Dining and watched the tide roll in. It was perfect. From the red wine to the light breeze, to the stars beginning to twinkle at dusk.

“Do you know how awkward it is to have to call a guest because they left their strap-on in the bathroom?” she asked.

Drew nearly choked on his fettuccini noodles. “You had to do that?”

She nodded. “I filled in at customer service once. Never did it again.”

“Informing guests of their left behind sex toys too much for you?”

“Yeah. It’s one thing to find them, quite another to actually have to call the guest, and then have that person describe it in detail to make sure it’s theirs. The trip to the post office isn’t all it’s cracked up to be either when you’re out of boxes.”

For the umpteen time that night, Drew laughed so hard that his cheeks were starting to get sore. “Is that a policy?”

“Strap-ons? I think that’s purely a personal decision.” Winking at him, she took a sip of wine.

The witch. “Ah, no. Calling guests when they leave something behind.”

She frowned. “You don’t think it’s a good idea?”

“Actually, I think it’s great customer service.”

Her frown gave way to a smile. “My grandparents instituted the policy. I’ll keep it when I take over once they retire next year.”

“You own the place now, remember?” Or she would as soon as he had the deed put in her name.

Her cheeks pinkened. “That’s so odd to hear. I own The Magnificent Dunes. Wow.”

“Who will you hire to manage it?”

She gave him a look. “I plan to manage it.”

Though he fully supported breaking glass ceilings, he didn’t relish the thought of Hannah away from him during the spring and summer, and there was no way he’d move Montgomery Industry to the eastern part of the state. Like her, he had to actually be at his company’s flagshi
p building in order to make sure it ran like a well-oiled machine.

“How can you manage it from Charlotte?”

“Um, I won’t. I’ll manage it from here and on site.”

“I’m not going to married to you in name only,” he said, irritated by her answer.

“And I’m not giving up a career I’ve worked insanely hard for to a man who only plans to be married to me for five years.”

“I’m not asking you to, but I do expect you to uphold your end of our agreement.”

“How romantic of you to remind me of that, Drew.”

“There’s nothing romantic about our agreement,” he said flatly. Then, he wished he could take back the words. He didn’t need to be so cruel to her, especially after this morning.

“Right.” With a determined face, she rose from her seat and started clearing the table. “I have a lot to do tomorrow. I think it’s time we said goodnight.”

Yeah, he deserved to be kicked out of her house, but at least she wasn’t saying good-bye. He placed a hand on her arm. “Hannah, I wasn’t trying to start a fight, but we need to figure out the logistics of us.”

“I get that, I truly do, but it seems to me you only want your logistics to be considered, not mine,” she said tightly. “Marriage is about compromise.”

“It seems to me that you’ve already made up your mind.”

“Of course I’ve already made up my mind. I made future plans without you,” she cried. “You’ve just shown back up in my life, and yet you already expect me to accommodate you.”

“I came here to you, didn’t I?” he reminded her. “I should be at work. I should be in meetings. I should be taking calls and—”

“No one’s stopping you,” she said softly.

He scrubbed his face. “Be patient with me, Hannah. I’ve never had to consider someone else before, not like this.” Scooting his chair back, he pulled her down into his lap. “I’m sorry. I don’t apologize very often, but I am truly sorry.” She was stiff as he held her, so he started rubbing her back. “You’ll have to teach me to be a good husband.”

“I was kinda hoping you already knew,” she grumbled. “Besides, it’s not like I’ve cornered the market on being a good wife. I’ve only been one for two days.”

“Why don’t you invite your grandparents to come out to dinner with us tomorrow evening? I’ll have my pilot fly us down to—”

“We can drive to Wilmington. No need to fly us anywhere,” she said.

He leaned back in his chair to look at her. “It’s not a problem.”

  “Neither is driving.”

  “Are you afraid of flying?”

“No.” Her shoulders sagged. “Yes. Maybe. Okay, I’m terrified of flying.”

“That’s all you had to say.” He kissed her cold hand. “I wouldn’t force you to go anywhere on my jet.”

“I’m totally fine with sitting on the runway though. I can sit on the runway all day long. Like a champ.”

He laughed. “I bet you could.” She laid her head on his shoulder. “We’ll drive to Wilmington. Do you have a recommendation?”

  “Yes.”

  “Care to share?”

“Not right now.” She sighed. “I’m enjoying this too much to talk.”

He adjusted her on his lap and wrapped his arms around her while she snuggled into him. He kissed her cheek, and she sighed again. He liked the sound of her sighs.

“You’re don’t stay mad very long,” he said quietly.

“Who has time to stay mad at the people they care about?” she said.

Stroking her hair, he settled back into the chair. “Seems that I’m a lucky man.”

“I can still give you hell when you deserve it.”

“Good.” He smiled against her arm. “It’s getting late, and your schedule is full for tomorrow. I should go.”

“Yeah, you should.” But he noticed that she made no move to leave his lap. “In a little bit.”

  *

The alarm on the nightstand woke Hannah up out of a dead sleep. “Ugh,” she groaned, slapping everything near her until the alarm finally turned off.

Asking Drew not to leave until a little bit later proved her undoing. They’d ended up talking, drinking, and staying up until almost dawn.

She lay back down on the bed and screwed her eyes shut against the sun. It was only eight AM, and she needed at least five more hours of sleep.

But last night—she laughed a little—and early this morning, had been… wonderful. She and Drew had talked about anything and everything, and then nothing at all. They’d sat side by side (once she made herself leave his comfy lap) and held hands while they watched the sunrise.

Over the years, he hadn’t changed much, yet he was so different. So serious and driven. So determined to do the right thing while holding himself to a higher standard. In all honesty and given his work schedule, she was completely shocked he had come to her at all.

Her phone buzzed. Automatically, she reached for it and pulled it close.

  DREW: Morning, sunshine.

HANNAH: You are dead to me, morning person from hell.

  DREW: So no to breakfast?

  HANNAH: Yes to dinner.

DREW: Pick you up at 4.

  HANNAH: No suit.

DREW: What about a birthday suit?

  She snorted.

HANNAH: Only if I get dressed to match.

  DREW: Casual it is.

Tossing her phone to the side, she smiled and burrowed into the pillows once more. She should have known he was a morning person and not just a morning person, but also the ultimate morning person. How else could she explain his chipper text?

Her phone buzzed again. Searching for it, she found it near the edge of the bed.

DREW: I want yesterday with you again. My back needs washing.

Oh, so flirty Drew had decided to text her this time. Yeah, she liked this guy even better than ultimate morning person Drew.

HANNAH: I could probably fit you in after lunch.

  DREW: Can’t wait that long.

There was a knock at her door. She bolted upright in bed. There was no way he was here. He couldn’t be here. She glanced at her reflection in the mirror and almost screamed.

“Give me five minutes,” she shouted, and then texted before leaping out of bed and heading to the bathroom.

DREW: You could tell me where you keep the hidden key.

HANNAH: Then it wouldn’t be hidden.

Taking care of her most pressing need first, she then brushed her teeth and her hair before scrubbing her face. She couldn’t remember ever getting this worked up over looking good for Fischer—not that he cared. He was too easygoing.

But Drew was her husband and he would—she froze. Eventually, Drew would see her like this. They were married. Surely, they would live together. Somehow.

She frowned over last night’s disagreement. Their first fight. It sucked, but luckily, they’d made up.

They hadn’t resolved the issue though, and she didn’t look forward to revisiting it with him. They were practically on their honeymoon. Although to be fair, most couples already had this stuff worked out before they married.

  Gah.

She wished she had talked to her grandparents about this. They would know what to do, or how to come to an agreement. At the least they could give her pointers. Fifty years of marriage had to give them special superpowers.

  Her phone buzzed again.

  DREW: It’s been six minutes.

“Ack!” She finished freshening up and ran to the front door, half punch drunk and giddy at seeing him again.

Opening the door, she greeted him with a smile. “Hey you.”

  “Hey yourself.”

She let her gaze travel over him. “You’re wearing board shorts.”

  He grinned. “You’re wearing pajamas.”

A little self-conscious, she pulled at the hem of her Bert’s Surf Shop tee. “I wasn’t expecting company.”

Leaning forward, he kissed her lips. It was soft and over before she could really enjoy it. “I know you said you were busy, but I thought I could spend the day here instead of cooped up at Chesson House. Great place, but it’s a B&B and… you’re not there.”

Guilt made Hannah look away. “I don’t have plans today. Normally, I’d be helping with winterizing, but since you put it off, I’m sort of on early vacation.”

“Such a poker face you had last night. I’m impressed.”

Biting her lip, she risked taking a peek at him. “I don’t think I want to be complimented on lying.”

“Normally, I’d agree with you, but since I was being a dick, you had every right to tell me you were busy.”

“What did you have in mind for today?” she said, finally remembering her manners and motioning him inside.

“I have some work to do, but after that, I’m free,” he said as she shut the door.

“Would you be mad if I went back to bed?”

“Can I go back to bed with you?”

She gave him a look. “I really want to sleep. It’s only been three hours since I last saw you,” she said with a yawn. “You should be as tired as I am.”

He shrugged and for the first time, she noticed a small, sleek bag. “Normally, I don’t sleep more than three to four hours a night.”

  “Why?”

Obviously amused, he laughed and said, “Because I have meetings that take place at all hours. If my customer is in China, then I’m up for them. Same for Australia. New Zealand.”

“That’s why God created email.” She padded to her room, and Drew followed. “Will you be conference calling while I’m sleeping?”

He eyed her as she crawled back into bed. “No.”

“Then you can make yourself at home with me in bed.” She patted the space beside her. “We should get used to each other anyway. For all you know, I could be a snorer.”

“As long as you’re not a bed hog,” he said, taking off his shoes and pulling his shirt over his head. “You don’t mind if I get comfortable?”

“Your hot chest won’t stop me from passing out.”

“Gee thanks.” He sat down on the bed, pulling the cover tight.

“Under the sheet,” she said. “Or you’ll strangle me when I scoot down.”
