Breaking Through (The Breaking Series Book 3)

She wiggled her hips, taking me deeper, and then I lost it. Groaning, I started moving. With every ounce of my being, I tried to be gentle and slow, but it was too damn hard. She felt so perfect against me, her skin smelling so sweet and feeling so hot, her sounds so inciting, so addicting. After a few moments, I had to push harder, drive deeper. And she seemed to be okay with it. Well, judging by her moans and the way she dug her nails on my hips, pulling me to her, I would say she was more than okay with it.
It had been so long since I had had sex, and even though I had jerked off a few times in the last few months—always thinking of Hilary and this moment with her—it wasn’t the same. Besides, this wasn’t having sex. This was making love. It was so much better, and because of that, I wouldn’t last long.
“Hil, I …” I tried to warn her, so she wouldn’t be disappointed with me.
“What?” she asked breathlessly. She captured the tip of my ear in her teeth and flicked her tongue on my skin, singeing me down my neck. Cursing, I drove deep and hard one, two, three more times, and she let out a sexy little moan each time. That was my undoing.
My feelings, my sensations, everything exploded inside me and around me as I came—the hardest and most divine climax I had ever had. Gripping her hips, I buried my face on her neck, and she wound her arms and legs around me as my body quivered over hers.
Slowly, the trembles faded, and I propped myself up on one elbow to look into her eyes.
“Are you okay?” I asked.
She was smiling. “I’m perfect.”
That was true. I smiled back at her and ran my fingers along the side of her face, brushing aside a few strands of her hair. “I meant it. You know, before.” I swallowed. “Eu te amo.”
“Eu também te amo,” she answered in Portuguese.
I raised an eyebrow. “Did you practice that?”
“Maybe.”
Damn, Hilary had planned this entire evening to the millisecond. Leo’s urgent call, bringing my horse here, the red path, the picnic blanket and fireplace and the food we still hadn’t touched, being ready for me, and even saying she loved me in Portuguese. She was too good for me, too perfect, too everything. I didn’t deserve her, but I sure as hell would try to because I was too damn crazy about her.
I brushed a slow, sensual kiss on her lips, and incredible or not, my body started answering hers already. Oh, if she let me, we would have a second round, but while I recovered, we could do something else.
“So, what do you got over there?” I jerked my chin to the picnic basket.
“Besides the lingerie I was planning on wearing for the second round?”
I laughed out loud. “Meu Deus, you’re perfect.” I buried my face on her neck again, enjoying snuggling with her.
She ran her hand through my hair. “No, but I’m hoping I’ll be perfect enough for you.”
“You already are, Hil. Too damn perfect for me.”
